honestly over the years that i constantly watched the E! celeb channel and read celeb mags like “grazia” and “People”, “Ok!” etc etc or women’s mags like women’s day or new idea.... the one thing i could never fucking stand was the fashion panels that were either at the beginning (if it was awards season) or near the end of these mags.... where they’d judge the women far more harshly than the men.

like let’s say judge frida bonhelm (not a real person), fashion director at grazia rates the following real stars:

• sandra bullock at the golden globes in idk alex mcqueen (a high out of 10 ranking in my books bc i know nothing about fashion, but not so for these panellists).

• jake gyllenhaal at the oscars and golden globes, and for the sake of this post he’s either rocked up looking like he’s rolled out of bed with tousled hair etc but still in a suit (just without a tie, bc ala casual tre magnifique! a hot fashion tip: any random french makes you sound classy in fashion and makes Total Sense™️), at the oscars. or let’s say of shits and giggles he’s rocked up shirtless but in a kilt to the golden globes (“he’s going through a hard role guys, let him be!” says fellow panelist Gead mulhern, stylist for new idea). also forget what fashion designer/label JG is wearing, bc who the fuck cares when it’s a man???? amirite??? bc what man is meant to remember that supposedly vital information? none of them. not a single one them. that’s who.

the other panellists generally end up having the same views as frida, but mostly differing on a few points and and final scoring. like jake in both instances basically just rolled out of fucking bed and threw something on (or that’s how it’s styled at least) which looks like it took like 10 minutes at the most to do..... while sandra (and every other female actress they critique) takes like literally 8 hours or more of hair and makeup getting ready for these major events and they get the low rankings????

like this pissed me off so so so much when i read/watched these panels. i was ready to fight every single one of them. and i was so happy when some of the women started fighting back a few years back now...... like elisabeth moss flipping the bird at the E!’s nail cam thing at the oscars i think... cate blanchett getting angry at the camera men for panning up her body in her dress. then there was emma thompson walking up on stage at idk the baftas or whatever carrying her heels and then she threw them over her shoulder. like god. i LIVED for that. and also there’s tiffany haddish turning up in the same alexander mcqueen dress to everything she can bc the goddamn dress is $4,000. like i’d do that to, girl. rock on.

like i hope we consistently get more of this as time goes on. because i’m so sick of male stars getting to turn up in jeans etc and being lauded as “casual, laidback and sexy next door hunk” and getting rated in the high out of ten (/10) range. while the women at these events are turning up looking like superstar material but getting rated like a 2 and get called “fashion challenged” or some other horrendous bullshit (half of them at the very least)..... all because one of these shitty overly judgemental fashion panelists doesn’t like one tiny detail of the woman’s outfit.

it’s ultimately why i stopped purchasing fashion/celeb etc mags and stopped watching E! and stopped engaging with other celeb news material. because it’s exactly where women learn to be catty, overly critical and bitchy.... instead of nice, supportive and non-judgemental. like watching fashion police back in high school made me super fucking bitter for ages... while also making me simultaneously hate myself bc i knew that i could never look like a hollywood star.

actually the worst segment on fashion police and in fashion mags was “starlet or streetwalker” (or something similar) where i remember female stars like kesha and britney spears were constantly labeled as “streetwalkers” which was like a nicer way (in their words) of saying “whore”. i’m pretty sure joan rivers/guiliana rancic called kesha a whore quite a few times actually.... bc of the way she dressed back in the late mid2000s/early 2010s because of her party girl image. like that got on my nerves so much that i was ready to fucking break the tv because they were calling my role models (once i found out kesha wasn’t a literal party girl all the time really lmao) whores while blantantly stupid but totes relatable & quirky/awkward Hot Girl Of The Minute™️ jennifer lawrence (at the time during 2011-2014) was touted as a starlet along with other young female stars.

anyway fashion panels are fucking venom and should fucking stop pitting women against each other. they should also stop lauding men when they turn up with tousled hair and just barely fucking dressed for a red carpet events. everyone is fucking over it. like start being nice to each other y’all. like why is it so fucking hard????

Hi lovers, im typing this from the death pits of my bed as I just woke up from the littest and bestest night of my life with Niall at the Flicker World Tour in Singapore. I’ll try to recall as much as I can about the whole experience from the soundcheck, M&G and the concert.

Soundcheck:

I was right smack in the middle and second row for soundcheck. We were all seated and anxiously waiting for Niall to come out so we were all just casually talking and all of a sudden with no warning whatsoever he just came out along with the band. It really took me by surprise (no pun intended lmao) like this bitch just came out of nowhere and made me tear up shshfdhfjfv. He then said his greetings to Singapore and then started playing On The Loose, You & Me and Fire Away which sounded really amazing everyone were singing and jamming/swaying to the songs. After the songs ended, everyone was screaming and he started covering his ears and had this freaked out look on his face lmao this boy is so dramatic I swear to god we weren’t really that loud ajnjdsncjs. He then started to tell us to calm down and asked us if we watch High School Musical and started to lead the Sharpay breathing exercise lmao.

After everyone quieten down, he started talking about how good it was to be back in Singapore and how hot Singapore is (like literally it’s 31-32 degrees Celsius outside and really humid, the moment I step outside im drenched in sweat idk how I survived in this weather for the past 20 years it’s summer everyday). He even said he played golf at 8am earlier and he felt like he’s having a heatstroke and was drenched in sweat just by standing there and was like “nah I can’t do this can I” HAHAHA. He went like “Jesus how did you all survive in this weather but obviously all of you have climatized to it” and pointed behind him where there were all sorts of drinks from plain water to sweet drinks and how he had to drinks gallons of water to keep himself hydrated. And THEN a fan in front of me told him she was thirsty and HE GAVE HIS BOTTLED WATER TO HER. I think she got freaked out and was just standing still with the bottle in hand and they had a staring contest and Niall said I just gave you me water bottle so you better drink it but she was still hesitant to drink it and then he added “that better not be on E-Bay by 6pm”. Everyone around me started chanting “chug chug chug” and I joined in hahaha and then she started drinking from the bottle.

He then asked us if we were ready for Q&A and everyone lost the plot and screamed their heads off and he covered his ears again until a girl told everyone to shut up and then he pointed to her and said “that’s my girl right there” and that girl just lost the plot and shaking and screaming and everyone started screaming again it was hilarious lmfao. One of his crew then came out with a few coloured post-it notes in hand where we wrote our questions for Niall. One of the questions was if he’d rather win the grammys or the masters tournament, which was a really good qn im honestly curious. He started talking bout how the theatre looks like it’s in the grammys and added “Not that I know how it feels to be there”. But really though, this man deserves a Grammy someone give it to him pls he deserves it so much. Cant even remember if he even answered the qn bc he was talking about nice the theatre is and how he would always research on the venues he’ll be playing. Another qn was something about his guitars. He said that he’s got an old Gibson with him and that he’d play for us later and added that it needs careful attention bc on the road it will always need some sort of repairing and fixing. He then quipped that one of his crew who’s a guitar technician has made guitars from scratch and everyone started applauding and cheering for him even though he was backstage. He started talking about Jake like how you can spend just 2 hours listening to him talking about guitars and 2 hours is not enough hahaha. Another qn was something like how he’s gonna spend his time after the tour. He said that he’ll be chilling for a while and then focus on making his new album but not to expect it very soon as he’s trying to make the right sound for his new album. A fan then quipped that he can take his own time and this boy just cocked his hips out with his hands on his hips and said “oh yeah I’ll take my sweet ass time” jjsbjfidnsjcsdn. Another qn was something like if he remembers any faces during the concerts. He said that he generally remembers the ones in the first few rows and those that have attended a few of his shows. He then added how ridiculous for some fans to come to him and asked him if he remembers them from 2014 dcjdbcjd. He answered a few more qns which was a blur I cant remember sorry!!! It went by so fast though like 30-35 mins?? Honestly the soundcheck was a blast, he’s so cheeky and sarcastic and sassy and he engaged and interacted with everyone which was so captivating and charming about him im so heart eyes for him.

Meet & Greet:

Right after the soundcheck was m&g which got my heart beating so fast and anxious about. Thank god I was the last few people to go which gives me time to calm down and realign my train of thoughts. When it was my turn to go, I took a peek behind the board and he was right there but he was busy passing a letter to one of the crew a fan gave to him who went before me. I just went straight in and patiently waited beside him and gawking at him because he was just so beautiful and calming to look at fjvdjvjbjdn. Idk why but at that point of time I didn’t feel nervous at all but not until he turned towards me and I had a fucking mental breakdown bc his eyes were so blue it’s so pretty and his face was so smooth and shaved. I was too busy looking into his eyes that I didn’t realise that he smiled at me and pulled me into a hug and asked “how are you you good?” I replied with “yeah Im really good how are you” but I didn’t hear his reply bc I was too busy burying my face into his shoulder and breathing deep into his shirt to smell him ahhhssdfjs. YALL HE SMELLS SO FRESH AND IT REMINDS ME OF A SCENTED CANDLE THAT JUST CALMS YOU DOWN AND MAKES YOUR BODY WARM UP (or was that just me lmfaoooo). The scent isn’t strong at all like I literally had to take a good sniff from his shirt to be able to smell it!!!! While that his arms were around my waist and shoulder and his grip felt SO FIRM AROUND ME. He then pulled away and pulled me into a side hug and we took a picture and I realised that I didn’t wrap my other arm across his front and I quickly did and THEN he fucking put his other arm that was free on my arm that I just wrapped across his front and without even realising I was brushing my hand across his hairy arms ANJCNSJDNC IT’S SO SOFT AND HAIRY YALL UGHHHH. The photographer then took another shot before we pulled away and I turned back to him and started reaching out for the bracelet I made for him and a letter I wrote for him and passed it to him. I told him that I made him this bracelet that was matching with mine that I had on my wrist which has some chakra beads and his initials on it (mine with my initials of course). He was like “aw that’s really nice thank you” and saw the front of my postcard letter (which I managed to squeeze a good 2 pages of what I wanted to say to him) which said “Greetings from the World” and he read it out and thanked me again for the gift. I was about to leave when I asked him for another hug and we went straight for the hug and I started breathing into his shirt again lmao. When we pulled away, I told him he looks so different now that he shaved and I asked him why did he shave bc I love his beard and his sarcastic ass just scoffed and said “oh I shaved it by accident”. My dumbass of course shot him a confused look and said “what do you mean by accident???” before I left and said hi to mark and he smiled back and said hi :’) I just pray hard that my m&g photo will turn out nice!!!

Concert:

Well we all know the concert was lit I had a blast and I was so proud to be part of the paper houses fan project when he performed Paper Houses. The crowd was really beautiful even Niall was in awe and smiling the whole time and said “that’s beautiful” im sobbing. I cant emphasize the number of times Niall was talking about the warm weather in Singapore too hahaha. Cant help but to feel really touched when he said that he completely understands how expensive concert tickets can be and for picking his show to attend to out of the many tours going on even though he’s said it many times in previous shows. The only thing that he didn’t do during the concert was introducing the band to us which I was really looking forward to but it’s okay it was the best concert experience I ever had!! We stan a legend and talented man :’)

Midorima Shintarou Headcanons No One Asked For

Because I wanted to update the ones I already had, especially since I was back then like: “Oof? Posting nsfw headcanons on tumblr?! I can’t post that!” (Excuse my insecure self back then and now lol) But since I already made my Kaga-chin headcanons and they’re nsfw too and because Last Game reminded me that Midorima is still my husband/son and that I still love this Tsundere very much, I’ll redo the stuff and add new ones I, again, did not add the first time. (And because writing headcanons is much funnier than doing German,Biology and Math lol) Like in the Kaga Headcanons, I’m gonna make three catergories: Normal Drunk and Porn and stuff So beware of nsfw and enjoy them! Normal:

That Mido-chin is a Tsuntsun is not a secret, but I’m gonna tell you some of his darkest secrets, he tries to hide with it

First of all, Mido is most likely not straight, I think he’s more bi (or just gay idk)

Mido has definitely a shelf or a whole room for all the lucky items he obtained over the years (I mean dude, come on, all middle school + high school items are a whole room worthy or maybe even two)

I can totally see Mido telling Kise or Aomine whenever they didn’t learn for a class test in middle school (and whenever he was pissed) made up lucky items when they asked him about it to pass like “Kise, you’re lucky item is to walk around with a bra”, “Aomine, you have to wear a bunny onesie” or something like that

But in the end he always brought their real luck items with him because “No one should mess with Oha-Asa-nodayo” and because he cares for his teammates, but he never gave them the right ones, mostly because they would stop walking around holding/wearing their fake ones

He definitely walks around with Takao’s lucky items (he just hides them in his bag or something like that so that his dear crush friend won’t notice that Mr. Tsundere cares about him

This carrot totally had a slight crush on Akashi (don’t u deny it) damn, now I’m in the mood for some AkaMido Headcanons, but I’ll do an extra post for them later

Akashi was definitely a good friend (maybe his only real friend) and a good rival back then in Teiko until Boku took over and everything broke down

Mido needs his sleep and will be with every hour without sleep that passes grumpier and 24/7 complaining about everything “This ball is too bouncy!” “Our hair is too colourful” “Kise shut up” “Aomine ahut up” “Akashi shut up” “Murasakibara stop eating and shut up” “Kuroko WHY DON’T YOU TALK FOR A CHANGE? No actually don’t. You, too, shut up” Oof that got out off hand lol

I think he and Kuroko would have a mutal understanding like, they both could sit there for hours without anyone saying something and just stand up and say “This was a very nice conversation”

Mido-chin complains about Mura eating snakes, but I bet Mido is eating many, too (but mostly healthy ones tho, because he is an athlete lol)

He is easily embarrassed because this boy is smart and understands immediately whenever someone (a.k.a Aomine) says something suggestive or is up to say something perverted

Like really, he could sense that and be like “Well, if you would please excuse me. I have to go and save my ears from this idiocy”

This is not a headcanon, but Mido really used to play the piano for Akashi and Murasakibara during breaks and they were his audience too and my AkaMido/MuraMido shipper heart can’t handle this

He really really loves to play the piano and it’s actually happy when someone (a.k.a back in Teiko Akashi and Murasakibara ( and maybe Tetsu , too) and now Takao) listen to it and if they sing/hum to the songs, especially when he wrote them himself

Drunk:

Oh boy drunk Mido, I tell you that all the Tsunderes make a whole 180° change when drunk

But even so, I have a strong believe that Midorima is actually good in handling his liquor

Like, it will take some time until it hits him

But when it does, oh boy

Mido-chin makes a 180° change as mentioned above, meaning: he will be pretty talkactive and laugh about everything and anything

He probably will only be a lowkey pervert, but that doesn’t mean he won’t try anything at all

I see him try things one time and then stop or move on

CATS ARE HIS FAVOURITE ANIMALS AS DRUNK

I can totally see drunk!Mido adopting one or more cats and the next morning just wakes up like “…What…”

He’s one of those wine and champagne drinkers

He definitely uses his luck items as toys if they’re suited (Like if they’re ropes or part of a custome or something like that)

Dream 19-6-17

Okayyyy so as most of you know you can have multiple dreams in one night, I could only remember one (I forgot my other one lmao) so I'll tell you about it to start off my feed? I was not in my school but some sort of facility with most of my year group. We were wearing our uniform and decided to go to another secondary school nearby. We walked there, the weather was sunny although it was raining a couple hours back. Oh yeah, I was the only one wearing my school coat? idek, anyway we arrived at the school campus and it really doesn't look like how the school actually looks irl, in my dream it looked more like a college campus with the big green and pathways with lots of scenic nature, the dream wasn't focused inside the school for this part. Just the campus/area outside the school. *I can't remember alot but here's what I can remember* Everyone went with their own friends and my friends weren't with me, idk why but apparently a teacher approached me. (i have a teacher problem with my other bestie lmao @/ks.) He said to call him by the name Joey, he had strawberry blonde/ginger hair, freckles, can't remember his e/c, all-in-all he was cute. He kinda got to know me then he asked me if im doing any business-y, musical or physical things over the summer (i forgot how he phrased it also). I replied with something like "I don't do business(in school as a subject) but I'm doing a club over the summer to do with theatre" he seemed appalled by what I said, he then told me "The one in ___ theatre, I'm actually going to be teaching there! (for the summer theatre club)" I replied surprised "Oh, really!" He then said "Yeah, but I'll be showing my piano, musical side than the physical side I show here" (I'm guessing he was a gym teacher then) the convo went on and somewhere he told me he plays flute also... I've never been intrigued by anyone being able to play the flute lmao, anywho. There was a sign kinda, it was a building with white letters with a pun spelled out. I can't remember what it said but before we took a turn we stopped and he came behind me and he cupped my head then turned it to face the sign, we both laughed, I was laughing really hard. Then idk if we kept walking bc next part we're in a smaller facility, it doesn't look like the school irl (not my school) but we parted ways and I'm not sure if i told my friends about him but then someone said get into groups by hair color... I was like wtf? but we did and the next thing was we went into a broad hallway and it was like a fair/carnival. There was candyfloss, more food stalls, then game stalls. We all ignored the same hair colour thing and i got with my group of friends I usually hang out with. We didn't play but we talked and had fun, next one of my blonde-ish friend said "rhea" pointed in a direction. I saw teacher who was in my school (yes the teacher problem) and i kinda screamed bc i was surprised lmao it's my signature goat scream. I think he (the teacher) recognised it bc i do it all the time in the changing rooms during kickboxing (after school club) with him when people throw this sweaty red shirt at me. He looked my direction and we both laughed at eachother idk why, but we started to walk and I decided to drag k.s with me bc she knows the struggle. The convo went on as we walked but i couldn't balance it between the two of them eg, I'm talking to k.s, the teacher (lets call him mp) is left out and vice versa, k.s decided to stay back so it was only mp and I, mp is a tall, smol bean, he's precious and fragile but he can kick ass. As we talked I saw his hair was straight and not thick, he usually has curly hair.. not an afro tho lol (ik weird observation) he then told me something about balding then showed me his bald spot, it was literally a bald head except for the sides, like a monk's hairstyle, everyone stopped and stared, i felt bad for him tbh. Our convo ended there, then I faintly remember i was in a car with my friend (not a classmate) and i looked out the window and saw girls from my old school and they said "is that what rhea looks like now" I didn't know whether to be happy or not by that... anyway I sort of forgot the rest to the teacher and I part and the talk about me although there was more to it and another dream I was really captivated by :((( .
