You know about the feud at Herzogenaurach in Bavaria? The 2 brothers Adolf and Rudolf Dassler made shoes there. One was a hardcore nazi (Rudolf) and the other was no less a nazi but much less enthusiastic. They got in a bad fight during the war because Adi may or may not have called his brother a filthy bastard while they were holeing down in a bunker during an Ally bombing.
Well, they split their factory and each of them took their business apart. Rudolf started Ruda (short for RUdolf DAssler, later renamed Puma) and Adi started Adidas (a somewhat similar name coining method). As business grew, employees of both rival companies took the rivalry to the streets: you wouldn't associate with a Puma gal if you were an Adidas guy.
Well, you won't see me wearing Puma or Ruda.
Anyways that's just an introduction to this meme i made, thanks for listening to my infodump.

Breaking News: Local Conservative Lawmaker Forced to Give Up on Trans Genocide Bill After Being Owned by Tumblr Post
“I was really hoping I would be able to push my ‘Kill All Trannies’ bill into becoming a law, but once that tumblr user pointed out it would also kill some cis women of color and gender nonconforming cis women, both groups of people I care deeply about, I had to throw the bill in the trash” -Governor Christian Whiteman, small town American conservative lawmaker
“I was feeling down about being rejected from every job I’ve applied for and being terrified of existing in public due to the ongoing hate campaign against us, but then I saw that clever post and got to have a good hard laugh at how stupid those dumb conservatives are. Now I feel so much better about my place in society 😊” -tumblr blogger with the url “doggirl-“ hold on i don’t think im allowed to write that in this article
“I was really worried about my future in America as a trans woman, but then I saw a post pointing out that the laws targeting me might end up affecting some cis women too, so now I don’t have to worry because cis people might actually care!” -anonymous blogger from the Catgirl-Bodypart bloggers union

I've finally got swept up and carried away by how many ocs I've got so it's time to ACTUALLY MAKE A LIST OF THEM ALL- there's more than I thought!!!
Before I actually get started though, my Oc tag is #ba.kersocs, I don't always catch every oc post with it BUT if you JUST wanna look at original characters and read a bit about them this is the tag to search through.
And everything on this list with an underline is a hyperlink! So you can tap/click on those to see art of the ocs themselves :)
Baker's OCs:
Belle (she/her) - A 23 yr old vegetarian and local cafe cook. One of the first two ocs I made for this blog, the other being their partner Chrys. I mainly draw her in stuffing situations/as a feedee. Tagged under #belle n chrys
Chrys (he/she/they) - A 24 yr old nonbinary gardener and apprentice carpenter. Partners with Belle. I usually draw them in light stuffing situations and nbpreg. They're a bit of a feeder as well. Tagged under #belle n chrys
Vaughn (he/him) and Tyler (he/him) - Written together because they're a duo I tend to keep together. They don't really have a main canon or consistent ages, all I know is that they are together, and very in love. Both of them have tattoos that I ACTUALLY have a reference for so I'm putting that here too. Vaughn is subject to light weigh gain, and I frequently draw Mpreg of Tyler. Tagged under #gothbfs
Sabina (she/her) - A vampire chick I made EXPLICITLY for hyperpreg even if I never draw her. I never settled on a partner for her, a tag or... really much? but I'd like to bring her back.
Maren (she/they) - First made in the post hyperlinked on her name, but established more fully with THIS post, Maren is a Marine biologist and a professor/former student in @/preggomancer's MonsterPreg University. They get pregnant from mermaids and don't have an established partner yet.
Exis (He/they) - Exis is a shapeshifter in a D&D style fantasy universe who I made for the SOLE purpose of preg angst. They have a small adventuring party that they travel with, and at the time of writing they're partner status is uncertain. A lot of early posts of them are tagged as #shapeshifteroc and later posts are tagged as #Exis & co.
Avanth (she/her) and Omylia (he/she/they) - The most established duo out of Exis' adventuring party, a tiefling rogue and a drow cleric. Avanth is the leader of the group, and Omylia as the resident healer/medic spends a lot of time with Exis. They're in a prestablished relationship of their own but might end up being in a poly relationship with Exis. They're also tagged under #Exis & co.
There's two more members of this party but I'll add them once I know more ABOUT them.
Heather (She/her) - A mid thirties transgirl, and at the time of writing the newest oc to be added. Shes a veterinarian and has a currently unestablished partner who is a dog trainer.
There are a few ocs that I did DESIGN but I'm not super interested in following a story with, or much else but I think would be fair to list here anyway:
A muscle Chub girlie
A Selkie
I've got a handful of mermaid one off characters, some tangentially related to Maren.

Olivia "Ollie" Clearwater
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
She/They | Trans Butch Lesbian | "Only motherfucker in this city who can handle me." - Pride, probably
Olivia grew up with extreme Christian fundamentalists for parents, controlled and sheltered all her life. Her only knowledge of queerness was as a one-way trip to Hell, and her knowledge of transness was non-existent. Even as deeply closeted as she was, Ollie chafed against her parents' strict upbringing, and began lashing out at an early age—and suffering the consequences.
In her attempts to free herself, even momentarily, Ollie found smoking and "the devil's music" to be particularly freeing. By thirteen, she was regularly sneaking packs of cigarettes and death metal albums into her room, and taking them with her every time she left so they wouldn't be found. Making up excuses about kids smoking at the bus stop saved her for a little while, but she knew it was only a matter of time.
Desperate, she held on until her she graduated, shipped off to college, and then her deep dive into everything forbidden began. The longer she strayed on the outskirts of what her parents found acceptable, the more she discovered. From metal, to grunge, to punk, Ollie found the queer community on her college campus and beyond, After so many years, she finally discovered herself.
Time ran out at the end of her first visit back home for the holidays. All her secrets exploded from her in a heated argument, and her parents instantly cut contact. With no money to pay tuition, Ollie had no choice but to leave her degree unfinished. And with nowhere to go, she was homeless for several years, couch-surfing with her few college friends, and sleeping on the streets.
After what felt like a lifetime of strife, she found solace in the community aid the local punk scene strung together for her. They helped her find temporary housing, work, and have a life again. Now in her early thirties, she credits them to this day for allowing her to live the rest of her life, and is active in fiercely defending it and supporting people like her.
Though Olivia does not dream of labor, she makes ends meet working retail, and spends a significant chunk of it on edibles as she attempts to quit smoking after nearly two decades.
Sofía Torres-Iglesias
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
She/Her | Cis Lesbian | The obligatory catgirl in every queer friend group
Sofía was born a second-generation immigrant to her Mexican parents, having a familiar childhood that many queer people might recognize—feeling different, but without the language to explain why. When she was young, she simply didn't understand why anyone would want a boyfriend in the first place. Growing older, and learning how strange it was for her to turn up her nose family members asking about her non-existent boy crushes, she bottled the feeling and tried not to think about it too much. She spent time with her friends and nodded along with all the teenage squealing about the boys from her school, and saying what people wanted to hear when asked about her own preferences.
Eventually, she found the words of her community. She sat on the knowledge for years, until coming out to her parents in a nervous rush before her quinceañera. After a lot of tears and hugging, the celebration went off without a hitch, with Sofía confident her parents supported her.
However, as time went on, it seemed clear that they supported her... insofar as they accepted her "experimenting" in this "phase." They were confused about how she could possibly be a lesbian because she loved pink, and kittens, and femininity—nothing like the marimacho they imagined queer women to be. It took Sofía a long time to establish with them how to talk about her sexuality and her community in ways that didn't make her want to scream, in addition to convincing them that she would never find "the right man" to "fix" her.
After many more years, a few messy early-twenties-relationships, Sofía was finally able to convince her parents it wasn't a phase. At last, she could breathe.
She met Ollie in her late twenties at a gay bar, and they rented the U-Haul a month later. Three years have passed, they're still together, sharing an apartment and a cat named Marbles. Sofía has a day-job tutoring kids in Spanish, but hopes to one day be able to afford to go to veterinary school.
Dante Price
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
They/Them | Nonbinary Asexual | Can and will quote the Divine Comedy verbatim
Dante's first canvas was always their own body. The story of their young self using finger-paints on everything except the paper was a popular anecdote of their parents, to the point where everyone at church could recite it word-for-word. This love of art continued through their childhood, from crayons to paints to their mother's make-up and it was all fine—until it suddenly wasn't.
On a dime, Dante's creativity was stifled. Their hands slapped away from eye shadow and lipstick, there was suddenly an acceptable art, and an unacceptable art. Growing up with a younger sister brought the unfairness into sharp relief—she was allowed to toy with make-up, dolls, and glitter. But Dante wasn't.
Nothing that was shoved into their hands as "proper" ever felt right. Not sports, martial arts, or any school subject sat right with them. They struggled to stay focused on anything except art, doodles getting snatched up and torn to pieces in class as punishment for their lack of attention. Later, they would be diagnosed with ADHD, years too late to save them from a miserable public school experience.
Dante drifted through life, listless and feeling destined to fail. The things they loved weren't allowed, and the things they sucked at were the only way to succeed. Stuck in the middle of an impossible situation, there was nothing they could do.
One place they escaped this limbo was in Dante's Divine Comedy, obsessed with the epic poem to the point of near-encyclopedic knowledge. The journey consumed them, a trip through Hell, into Heaven, and finally finding God and the love that aligns a soul. Such a path felt impossible for them, but they clung to the possibility.
School sucked, with shit grades, few friends, and net-zero interest in dating anyone or anyone dating them. Home sucked, with an air of disappointment hanging above their parents' heads. But one day, they would escape it. That they would exit Hell, and scrape their way to Heaven.
Before they knew it, high school was over, and Dante was expected to have a plan. They went to community college, because they had to do something, and joined the GSA after reading the word "asexual" on a flier. The more meetings they attended, the more they talked about existing in the in-between, the more the rest of their life started to make sense. It felt like climbing closer to Heaven, and Dante named themself after their favorite poet, hoping beyond hope it would give them strength.
They mulled over coming out for a long time. Their parents were just now starting to feel proud of them—would this ruin it? Would they be trapped forever? Dante tested the waters by telling their sister, Aria, and cried from relief when she accepted them, said she would help.
It was... a difficult series of conversations. Their parents were confused, not understanding what "nonbinary" even meant, or how Dante could be asexual when they haven't ever dated anyone—they were just inexperienced. But they agreed to use Dante's new name and pronouns, and that was more than Dante expected. And, to help them the rest of the way along, they offered some of the resources the GSA handed out, to help them through the process.
Things got better faster than they ever expected. Much less than simply tolerating their queerness, Dante witnessed their parents switch to a more progressive church in the name of respecting it. They bought make-up again, learned how to use it like paint on a canvas, something they also found love in after so many years of getting their art torn to shreds.
Now, with a supportive community, family, and self, Dante is working toward an art degree, and basking in the light of the love that set their soul right.
Marbles

He/Him | Grey & White Tabby | No thoughts. Only treats.
Sofía's beloved cat. He has one brain cell the size of a marble that bounces around his skull. He is very spoiled and enjoys ear scratches.

One of my (many) problems is that there's a lot of things I'm "interested in" where I'm not, exactly. Or if I am, it's less than people think. Lots of rambling about the way I'm interested in things because of my novelty-obsessed brain, under the readmore.
Lemme explain: like vtubers. I talk about them surprisingly often for someone who doesn't really watch any of them. There's a streamer I watch who sometimes vtubes and mostly webcams, and I have watched like two of them because they were playing Outer Wilds... But it's not like I follow any of them regularly, and it's not like I'm specifically into the vtuber community (no offense to any vtubers or their fans, it's just not my thing).
But I talk about vtubing surprisingly often because i have this ADHD brain that is addicted to novelty. I'm always thinking up ideas and going "what if you did vtubing IN SOME WAY THAT COULD ONLY BE DONE AS VTUBING BUT IS PROBABLY TOO WEIRD FOR MOST OF THEM TO DO", things like my "what if you controlled two characters?" post, or when I tweeted something like "what if you didn't use computers, and your avatar was just a puppet/marionette?" and so on.
It's not that I'm big into vtubing, it's that I see it and go "hey this could be used to do things that are difficult or impossible for other types of videos/livestreaming!" and I want to explore the ideas that brings up.
Same thing with furry. Don't get me wrong, I'm not weaseling out of being a furry (and no offense to any mustelids), I am definitely a furry.
But I think I sometimes give off the impression of being more of a furry than I am, because I see such possibilities for exploring new ideas in the realm of furry, most of them usually ignored. Things like "how do catgirls wear headphones?" (and more generally, the ergonomics of modern tech in world where people aren't always human) , the complicated sex determination and sex changing of many non-mammal species, the possibilities of senses that humans do not have, the completely different life cycles of some animals, and so on.
It's always interesting to me because it's new. It feels fresh and unexplored. I have read and watched and thought and wrote so much about humans, and frankly I have been vaguely bored with them since I was like 7 years old.
I crave novelty. In all things. And that's why subjects like vtubing and the furry fandom always attract me, at least conceptually. It feels like there's so much more to explore there.
But I just worry that it makes me come off as being more into it, for itself, than I am. And while there's nothing wrong with being into any of these things, for sure, it means I don't fit in well. I'm not into it for the same reasons as most fans, and I don't always align with their interests because of it.
It's like being a fan of a band, but only because you love their album art, and don't really care for the music. You can do you, but if you talk to a more traditional fan of the band you'll not have much to talk about, and they'll probably be offended at the very concept of how you call yourself a fan.
Anyway the fundamental idea at the core of this is how my brain is just addicted to novelty and new ideas. I have basically always been a fan of scifi and fantasy, and it's less that I love spaceships and dragons, and more that I get too easily bored when media DOESN'T have them. If the world of your book or show or whatever seems too much like "real life", I have a lot of trouble being interested.
Although to be clear, it's less that I need dragons and fantasy, as I need something new that you've thought about how it would make your fictional world different from our own.
A story that's just the modern mundane world but there's spaceships instead of buses, or a local zoo for dragons? Not really that interesting.
Although honestly a zoo for dragons has some interesting ideas. Just by thinking about how you'd keep dragons in a zoo, and maintain their safety and the safety of your visitors? That's interesting!
Because that's the thing that attracts me to stories like Star Trek. It's not just that there's a spaceship, but that the spaceship lets them tell stories they couldn't without it. You can have the crew visiting a whole new world every episode, and have that world be interestingly different from our own. You can tell stories about the dangers of traveling between the stars, in ways that couldn't come up if you just transplanted it into a story of a sailing vessel on earth discovering strange isolated island nations.
Although at the same time, I can imagine a story about the difficulties of traveling the pacific being very interesting to me, because of how you could go into the details of the working of sailing vessels. Like, go into how tacking works (which lets you sail up-wind), and maybe there's some issue with controlling the boom because you've taken damage to your boom vang. Explain how this works, and how your crew has to manage in the conditions, and that's new and interesting to me!
But too often I think stories tend to gloss over these sorts of details and explaining how they work, because they're trying to make the story more accessible. They don't want to have to teach you how this works, so they just explain it as far as "something is broken with the sail so we are having trouble getting where we're going" because they just need the ship to be slower than usual for story reasons. And that's fine, I'm sure you're telling a cool story about naval survival or warfare of whatever, but the new (to me) ideas about how sailing boats work is THE THING I'M INTERESTED IN.
Maybe it's not just my ADHD. Maybe it's also the autism. Like my brain doesn't get super interested in the human stories being told here with the technology as a backdrop, but you give me some neat new info about how the tech works and my hyperfixation brain grabs the popcorn and wants to learn EVEN MORE. Bonus points if you go into how this affects the society and people around it. How does the design of sailing vessels affect the society that operates them, and the people who crew them? Like, you can't just sail across the Atlantic with a crew of three on a sailing vessel in the pre-electronic age. You need more people than that just to keep the boat pointed in the right direction. So that determines the size of the ship you need, since you have to house and feed this crew for weeks.
Fundamentally I think part of why I think I have this friction with "regular fandom" is that the parts I find most interesting tend to be regarded as mere background details by others. Like the "how do catgirls wear headphones?" thing... You'll see a picture of a fit bunny-girl going for a jog and taking a selfie with her phone. The point is presumably supposed to be "cute bunny-girl!", and people aesthetically or erotically appreciate her, maybe even get gender/species/body envy from her...
Meanwhile I'm like "but how do her headphones work? Her ears are shaped differently and are on top of her head, not on the sides. The C-shaped design that humans use would make no sense. And how does the smartphone work if she's got paws? That's not as dexterous as fingers, shouldn't it be bigger to make it usable? A keyboard (like on a blackberry) wouldn't work either... The dexterity issue again. Maybe a joystick/thumbstick-like design, used with the center of the paw?"
And don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't appreciate the picture, it's just that I'm mostly appreciating it in a very different way than the average Bunny Girl Enjoyer. So if I talk to them we won't have much in common to discuss, even if we both like the same picture.
I guess the root of this whole thing and why it can bother me is that it sometimes feels that even when I have interests in common with others, I have them in a completely different way.
It's like feeling alone in a crowd, because I'm only in the same fandoms and sharing the same interests if you don't look too closely at why I like what I like and how I like it.

Does Stellar need inhibitor rings or are the golden bands on her wrists/ankles decorative?
They are indeed fully functional inhibitor rings that were made by Tails! I explained it a bit more in depth in a few different posts, but here's the most relevant one:

stealing this from larissa because why would i not tl;dr about my catgirl
Tumblr media
b a s i c s
Name: Prihsciya Lockati
Nicknames: Prih
Age: 26 in ARR; 32-33 post Endwalker
Nameday: 24th sun of the second astral moon (24th March)
Race: Keeper of the Moon Miqo'te + Rava Viera
Gender: Female
Orientation: Asexual (Demi) + Panromantic. She is sex favourable, but only enters such relationships herself with those she has developed a strong romantic bond with.
Profession: Warrior of Light and adventurer
Tumblr media
p h y s i c a l     a s p e c t s
Hair: Purple with lilac highlights
Eyes: Amber. One of her eyes is slightly more hazel than the other.
Skin: Brown.
Tattoos/scars: Has a scar on her face from when she fell out of a tree whilst rescuing a baby bird as a child. Freckles that faintly glow at night across her face and shoulders. Has aspected Light scarring on her wrists/hands following the events of Shadowbringers, so she always wears half-gloves. She has a rose vine tattoo over her ribs in honour of Minfilia.
Tumblr media
f a m i l y
Parents: Miqo'te mother, Aureahya, and Viera father, Ehris. Keeper structure is kind of vague and we don't have a lot of lore, but i like to think of matriarchs inviting those they take a liking too to their beds for baby miqo's, which is the case for Aureahya: she has many children, most by different fathers. Ehris was a passing gleaner she grew fond of and she has two children by him, and as a child Prih saw him very infrequently. She was raised by two mothers, the second being Aureahya's life partner, a half hrothgar half miqo'te woman, Rehnarta.
Siblings: She is the twelfth of fifteen children. She has one fully biological sibling (her elder brother by 4 years, Rehn) and was meant to be the youngest... until Aureahya and Rehnarta managed upon the means of having fully biological children and had three more!! Love wins!! Understandable, really. This includes her youngest sister Kihze.
Grandparents: None that she knows of.
In-laws and Other: None to speak of, but she considers the Scions her extensive family.
Pets: None. As an extroverted introvert, she enjoys her me time.
Tumblr media
s k i l l s
Abilities: Many. Growing up with countless sisters and disciplines meant there was always much and more for her to learn. She is undeniably most proficient at archery as a Bard, but suits the close combat style of a rogue well and is terrifyingly good with a knife. She took to Warrior and Dark Knight along her journey from the growing desire to protect others, and unlocked her potential for magicks whilst doing so - she and her family never had aptitude for it, and it was only when her Echo manifested that she did. Whatever Prihsciya chooses to do she does exceedingly well, almost as though she has learned all these disciplines before in another place, another time.
Hobbies: She likes to extensively read and learn about new things, loves history, and has the heart of traveler, enjoying discovering new locales.
Tumblr media
t r a i t s
Most Positive Trait: Remains kind and hopeful in the face of hardships and loss. Genuinely cares and is always willing to help - because it is the right thing to do. Compassionate and kind. Sees everything through to the end.
Most Negative Trait: Will not stop, once she sets her mind to something. Annoyingly persistent. She will protect others at her own expense; a perfect tool against threats. Sees anything less than perfection in her capabilities as a shortcoming: not being able to meet even an average standard as a culinarian really, really bothers her.
Tumblr media
l i k e s
Colors: Purples, deep reds, pastels.
Smells: She has no sense of smell!
Textures: Soft, fluffy things; the feeling of worn, well-read pages beneath her fingers, the passage of someone else having being there.
Drinks: Water. She enjoys flower based herbal teas.
o t h e r    d e t a i l s
Smokes: No.
Drinks: Never.
Drugs: No.
Mount Issuance: Her chocobo, Acacia.
Been Arrested: No.

Who is tower? :O
Tower is like if you took a catgirl, but the "cat" was actually "barely-domesticated tiger." She's technically an Autobot, but boi it does NOT feel like it. She's a kind of "might makes right" character, bullying and badgering with any authority she thinks she can get away with. She's got a particularly sadistic streak around Decepticons, less so because they're "the bad guys" and moreso because she knows that's how other peeps see them and she can get away with actually flexing her might around them. (looong ass post below)
She's a train, specifically the EMD SD40-2 (because they run around here locally and holy shit, they're really big. I tend to lock Tower's height around 50ft (ignoring how stupid this is to do in any transformers continuity)(because her altmode is ~68 ft long and like, 15ft high I barely come up over the wheels), which, for tfa (I base most of my tf writing around tfa, but it tendssss to soup at points), makes her on the upper end of Decepticon heights, much less Autobots. I like to headcannon that since she's a train, an alt that runs on pre-set tracks that would have already been tested for things like weight, Tower and other train-bots are on the heavier end of cybertronians, with beefier engines and able to store more fuel, instead of having to worry about things like taking off and not sinking into the ground. This does come back to bite her in the ass though.
Tumblr media
Tower doesn't have any ranged weapons. She does a shield she can create by pressing her knuckles together and generally does pretty well against ranged weapons. She can also break falls with it, as it just deflects any force applied to it, but it does have its own stress limits and can't usually be active for longer than a minute.
She doesn't... really know how to use her own strength. If she'd been properly trained to fight, she's be trying to wrestle them into submission, pin them in and the like. Instead she hits hard and fast... like a train. She lacks stamina fighting like this, and ends up wasting her energy on a lot of missed strikes.
I call her a catgirl because she behaves a lot like a cat. Toying with opponents, generally being smug and annoying, making horrible noises with her wheels (I've heard the trains around here make some wild noises), sometimes using uwu-speak (I would apologize, but its too late to actually mean it at this point), and couple visual traits I've given her to make her look like one (It's actually why I don't have a humanformers version of her, I just don't know how to make her face look right nothing's worked).
She doesn't have much in the way of friends, given she doesn't really ever get emotionally close to others, or even displays a wide emotional range. It's always some state of joy, amused or trying to look like she's not about to put her fists in someone's face. It's hard for her to come off as genuine in her emotions, and it's hard for her to get close. Not made better by the fact she won't actively try and instead just spends most of her time laying around (like a cat).
In general, a mean, smug bully who meows at you before you kiss a wall.

The only Jedi who's ever gone to the Outer Rim and caused more good than harm is Kerra Holt. In chronological order:
- Tom Veitch foretold the trend (as he foretold everything) when he had City Boy On His First Mission Ulic Qel-Droma try to rescue the princess on Onderon (not technically Outer Rim in current canon but whatever), only to completely misinterpret the situation since the princess was getting kidnapped on purpose to marry her love. Ever since then every Core World Jedi going to the Outer Rim has also misinterpreted the situation and/or not assessed the needs of the people they are trying to help, leading to some dreadful cosmic tragedy. In Ulic's case, this small mistake was soon resolved, but in the back-and-forth of wars that resulted from this mission Ulic fell to the Sith and killed a ton of people, ending with a weak ass redemption of mansplaining forgiveness to a catgirl
- Nomi Sunrider stopped the Sith by... burning down a rainforest
- Revan (or as I like to call them, knock off Ulic Qel-Droma) did stop the Mandalorian takeover out there, but only after falling to the Dark Side themself. And what's worse, they took Malak with them. Half the time they clean up their mess, the other half they make it worse, and either way they go further into the galaxy -- bad idea!
- the Jedi Exile blowed up a planet out there. At least they felt sorry about it
- idk SWTOR 😅
- GOAT Kerra Holt goes to the Outer Rim for a specific purpose (free the people from the Sith governments) and works her butt off to accomplish this, even putting a stop to corrupt drug running from the unhelpful Republic. I have a theory that the only reason future Jedi don't learn from her is (not bc she got written just before the Disney merger but) bc she was never able to return home to Coruscant and teach the others :(
- reading The High Republic rn, and this seems to be the main theme of the series, or at least my main takeaway. In the main storyline, the Republic (+ Jedi) build Starlight Beacon for no specific purpose and do not set up any kind of infrastructure to allow the local people to actually reap its benefits. My man Tia Toon calls them out and nobody listens to him except me. Unconvincing post-9/11 villains the Nihil destroy the Beacon, which falls into a local planet and kills a ton of people. Of course the Jedi had good intentions, but so did Ulic, Revan, and the Exile
- in the side storyline, Cohmac Vitus tries to cleanse some evil artifacts and ends up unleashing the Drengir (aka, sanitized Yuuzhan Vong)! This is what inspired me to write this post bc I just read this, and wtf man! It's such a clear example of "don't mess with the dark side if you refuse to study it." This situation really was fine until the Jedi tried to help! He does feel sorry about it too, I wonder of he's gonna turn evil from guilt
- most famously Qui Gon went into the Outer Rim incidentally to his political mission, saved Anakin while he was there with an elaborate Ben Hur reference, but did not save his mom or consider the affects on the community not to mention the boy, which ultimately lead to Darth Vader
- anakin sand ppl
- you'd think Luke and Leia going to Tatooine and killing Jabba would make things better, but according to the Mando TV show everything is still pretty fucked over there
- I guess Rey caused more good than harm by going to Exegol and killing poor old palpatine; it is sad that Kylo had to die, but she forgot him so ig we should too lol

I remember seeing a post a while ago talking about catgirls growing older and becoming catwomen and yknow going through life dealing with shit and I think at a certain point you can imagine that and get sad on "oh they fell out of the public eye that's so sad :( boo hoo"
But like the catgirls who turn into middle-aged women who are the managers of the local grocery store still somewhat miss the feeling of wrapping their tail around someone and having their ears gently pet and I'll be the first to say I'll gladly show Wendy the 36 year old catgirl who once did photoshoots for "I knyah you like the way my tail sways" magazine the love and appreciation a woman of her caliber deserves
