I remember you closing the shutters and laying down by my side
And the light that was still slippin' through was painting your body in stripes
I remember the trees summoned down like an archangel choir
And the ocean was all we could see and I knew that I wanted you
When am I gonna lose you? ♬♪

And when I can't feel with my sun hands, I promise not to lose her again
AND WHEN I CAN'T FEEL WITH MY SUN HANDS, I PROMISE NOT TO LOSE HER AGAINNNN
Local Natives was really fun 😌 Nice mix of their newer stuff off their new album (like Just Before the Morning and NYE which were great) with some classics from Gorilla Manor (the one that I first heard them through) and Hummingbird (10 years old now). My phone became a potato during Wide Eyes but Who Knows Who Cares was done really well, and was so fucking ready for Sun Hands here lmao. First concert at the Pier 17 rooftop too which was cool overlooking the South St Seaport and Brooklyn Bridge nearby, helped add some atmosphere to their vibe and harmonies along with the lighting effects
First time listening to Annika Bennett too as she opened, she (and her cute drummer Noah) were really good! She came back later to duet with LN too and sounded great
Pretty good first LN show, gonna see about a shirt online soon. [Also couldn't decide which selfie looks better haha]
