My takeaways from the first #LockdownLads live podcast:

- I know it’s an 18+ app but I enjoyed them genuinely treating it as such and Dan asking the viewers things addressing adult life. Feels like a step away from what they used to perceive their audience as. Did the last tour really change their perception that much??

- I’m starting to get sort of uncomfortable with all of the gay = penis jokes

- It’s so cathartic to hear them openly making references to and jokes about being gay. Absolutely living for it.

- They weren’t kidding when they said it would be intimate.

- They were SO GIGGLY?! Seems like they’ve missed recording together.

- Acknowledging seeing each other naked as a totally normal and commonplace thing.... okay. I’m having flashbacks to that video Dan made in like 2014 called “How NOT to stay cool”, and his utter freak out in it about Phil seeing him naked. This was quite the departure from that.

- I’m surprised they didn’t mention Freja

- They do not have a moderator for the submitted voice messages. This should go well, I’m sure.

- I could not tell if they were in separate rooms or the same room. It sounded like separate rooms but it also seemed like they could see each other. Maybe they were looking at each other from either side of one big room? Or Skyping at the same time or something?

- Them playing games without the ability to edit things out is going to be hysterical

- This was my favorite thing of 2021 so far
