Just because you lost your bending, doesn't mean you've lost your fight.
Korra and Tahno find themselves coping with the loss of their bending in a mutually destructive way. They can't probend; but they can still train, they can still fight. There's no ref in the arena to tell them how hard they're allowed to punch or kick or bite— Every shot counts as long as it lands.
“comics about what happened to zuko’s mother! atla live action movie! avatar show about what happened to the avatar after aang! atla live action netflix show! adult gaang movie! avatar show about what happened to the avatar after korra!”
“Do you think you're finally able to forget about what Zaheer did to you?” “No. But I am finally able to accept what happened, And I think that's gonna make me stronger.”
Korra is hallucinating again. It's nice enough, she determines as she looks up at the visage, to see something other than her avatar state glowering down at her. That is, until she realizes its not a hallucination at all, "-Tahno? What on earth are you doing here?"
"I could ask you the same thing, Uhvatar."
I swear I'm a functional person. I have so many of these ready to go, I just keep... forgetting.
Anyway, welcome to the Way of the Inner Planes monk. You guys remember the 4-elements monk? Remember how it sucked? Well, we're trying to do something about that.
This monk subclass draws inspiration from the Astral Self, Ascendant Dragon and Sun Soul monk subclasses, but tries to do what 4-elements ultimately failed to do.
Which, let's be real, was let you play the Avatar. This subclass is definitely about the Journey, and I highly recommend running pure monk at least up to 17th level -- if that's even possible in your game.
Anyway, once again, I always welcome feedback from anyone who's play-tested this or spots something, so long as you're not a dick about it.
