Posting more of my old Legend of Korra and Avatar: The Last Airbender art here since people seem to like it and it actually gets attention. Unlike DA :/ Trying to hype myself up into Avatar again because I’m vaguely interested in it, but per usual artistic motivation isn’t quite what it used to be. Wahwah.

I remember this being one of the first Avatar anything pictures I drew since I was like freaking 15, I was surprised it came out so good, and I’m still kind of proud of it. Eska and Desna look a little off but I think Bolin came out pretty well.

This image is titled “Third wheel” for obvious reasons.

Idea for the image was based off a joke I had with my sister that at the end of season 2 when Bolin says “Finnnnnnnne... Desna can come too” when asking Eska to move into his apartment that Desna would end up sleeping in the same be as Eska and Bolin. I assume this would be before Bolin(and possibly Eska at this point) politely asked bribed Desna to kindly get his own bed. Or maybe they finally cleaned the spirit vines out...

Bolin is annoyed because he’s just become aware he wasn’t holding his girlfriends hand all night, but Desna’s. 😂 Desna is dead asleep cuddling with Pabu. Speaking of Eska and Desna and beds, I always assumed they slept in the same bed. I don’t mean in a disgusting incest way but it just made sense to me they’d share a bed. I mean they’re creepy, and literally, bar the scene where Eska betrothed herself to Bolin, never leave each others sides. He literally comes with her EVERYWHERE. Dates, on rides, he even ends up riding shotgun with her while her boyfriend drives. I guess in the same vain he also RESCUES her boyfriend when he’s in danger with her, but geez he never leaves her side.

I know in season 3 they mention that Densa will sleep in a tub in a one-bed room. And while that was hilarious, I find it weird its the one thing they WOULD have qualms about sharing; the bed. I guess its to avoid incest implications or something, but they’re creepy already so them sleeping in the same bed wouldn’t change much.

Looking at it now though I think it would make more sense they share a bedroom, or a conjoined room rather than the bed.We have no idea what the hell their home living arrangement is, and we only see them mention it at a hotel.

But don’t worry Desna eventually gets his own room LOL
