Dear Fanfic Tumblr Diary

I guess I’m really only writing this to say THANK YOUUUUUUUU! Thanks to you, my fair readers, over the past four days my readership has, like, quintupled.

So it seems I’m writing two Loki-centric series now. Oh look, a Masterlist where you can read them. Aw gee, she has an AO3 too??

I guess I just wanted to say thanks to all of you. I honestly didn’t expect to see Nights at the Circus blow up the way it has. It was honestly going to be a one-off, but now that people are saying y’all want more, ask and ye shall receive! NatC is officially a multichapter story. Now I have to go off and outline the damn thing.

More than anything, though, it means a lot to me that people are resonating with my words. That’s always been what writing does for me. I just want someone to be affected by what I write, whether its getting all hot and bothered by the sexual tension, or excitement over seeing what’s next, etc. Your comments and likes give me life. <3

Also, I TAKE REQUESTS! While I reserve the right to discriminate (I won’t write anything pro-Sylvie/pro-Sylki, and I won’t write Loki committing incest, true non-con, or physically harming a reader), I am open-minded and would, frankly, love the exercise! I’m also open to writing for Bucky, Steve, Tony, Thor, and Bruce (or any combination). Drop me an ask!

So while I intend to continue writing both Nights and Strange Creatures, if one or the other gets updated more or less frequently than before, please bear with me. I’ve never juggled two multichapters before. In addition, I have a oneshot treat in the works for probably the next week or two for anyone who likes fairytales and thinks Loki’s Jotunn form would make a hot Prince Charming! ;)

i think the real reason november 5th has been so much more “intense” (for lack of a better word) is because this year has been so incredibly GAY. like. think about it. how many massive projects in media this year (that are mostly very popular on tumblr) have been queer. just to name a few in the last couple months, good omens season 2, OFMD2, loki season 2, heartstopper season 2, red white and royal blue movie, the list goes on.

2023 has just been the year of the gays, so of course destiel shippers on tumblr dot com are thriving.
