“And, tell me, what is the Prince’s excuse this time?” you asked, looking at the diminutive maid in your doorway, her plain white robes a stark contrast to the elaborate, guided threshold she filled.
“His father is holding court this evening, m’lady,” she replied, her head bowed, refusing to meet your eye.
Twisting your lip into a skeptical frown, you kept your disappointment inside for the sake of dignity. “Court is never held after sunset,” you answered. “He’s pissed off again.”
The maid didn’t reply. “He did send his regards--”
“--every cursed night for the past four days he’s ‘sent his regards’! We marry in another six and I have yet to see his face, nor he mine,” you  growled, frustration rising in your voice as your anger obscured your manners.”Is he deformed?”
“No, m’lady. His handsomeness is unmatched.”
“Does his tastes fall to another sex?”
She denied. “M’lady, the Prince is open about his desires, and he does not discriminate between sexes.”
 “Well, does this bastard wish to marry me or not??”
The maid looked helpless for an answer. You softened a little in sympathy. “I suppose you wouldn’t understand.”
She shook her head bashfully. “No, m’lady.”
“Then, just go,” you dismissed, not even bothering to wait in the room for her to leave before scurrying into your parlor and slamming the door, finally letting the scream out that had been building up inside you. It felt like a wonderful release, but it didn;t solve your problem.
You were getting married to a blank face in six days, uniting your realms, as was decreed on the day of your birth. You were raised getting to know your husband through correspondence, tutors, and finishing lessons. You only knew of his interests through quizzes and long hours of study. And for all your hard work, on the eve of the culmination of it all: he hadn;t even bothered to meet you.
It was enough of a humiliation when your entourage approached the palace at Asgard only to be greeted by your future brother-in-law, ready with an excuse that your fiance was ailing. The following day, you’d heard he was spotted hunting on the edge of the city.
The next day, Prince Loki missed your supper with the royal family. Queen Frigga had given you a sympathetic apology, insisting she would send him to greet you personally the following day, assuring you that Loki was eager to wed and merely taking care of some final pre-marital business.
He never appeared at your door, and you’d wasted the entire day waiting for him.
You were a strong princess, full of glorious purpose, ready to wed whether your heart wanted to or not. Prince Loki was making it very difficult for you to keep your resolve the more it became obvious that he was avoiding you. Every minute that passed solidified the fact in your mind that you were going to be nothing but a weight shackled to his ankle, occasionally bearing an heir and appearing publicly at his side. You were about to become an official Asgardian ornament.
What a sad fate for a princess, you bemoaned, throwing open your balcony doors and stepping out into the night air. You overlooked the inner courtyards and fields of the palace property, a tree line off against the indigo horizon. The twinkle of the city itself was off, beyond the north wall, the light pollution dousing the stars above your head. The rolling knolls were difficult to admire in the twilight.
Something caught your eye before you lost yourself in pitying thought: by the west wall appeared to be a stable, occupied with the royal steeds no doubt. You could have sworn you heard a whinny from that direction. Smiling, you decided that perhaps a horse’s ear was better than no ear at all (and you’d already scared away most of your maids).
Within a few minutes, you’d donned a black cape and simple dress so as not to attract attention. With all the free time you’d had not getting to know your future husband, you’d gotten to know the ins and outs of the palace corridors quickly, so it was no time before you were out in the open air and strutting toward the stable. You briefly looked up in the direction of the highest tower in the palace: the tower where the royals themselves bedded. Prince Loki was up there somewhere, not giving a damn about you or how lonely you felt.
“Don’t worry, Loki,” you whispered bitterly before turning away from the palace again, “I won’t say one voluntary word to you for the duration of our lives.”
The stables were clean and impeccably-kept, and the lights you’d seen were still on when you arrived. You stepped inside to find that only one of the stables was occupied, by a tall, sturdy, black stallion. He was contentedly munching on something in a metal bucket hanging off of the side of the cubicle.
Someone watched the horse, leaning with his back against the opposite stall door. His ankles were crossed, as well as his arms, and he looked deep in thought. His raven hair hung in his face, unruly and thick. His gray shirt was unfastened, hanging open at his sides, barely holding onto his shoulders. His tight green leggings were tucked into shin-high leather riding boots. He had a tattoo of an ouroboros winding about his chest, just below his razor-sharp clavicle. You swore it was moving very slowly, slithering about the man’s chest in an infinity loop.
There was a quality to his profile that immediately stopped you in your path. It was intimidating, but also attractive, as if he was posing for a painting but trying to look candid at once. Upon hearing the shuffling of your boots on the hay-lined floor, the young man lifted his gaze to meet yours, and his blue eyes lit up.
Looking upon his face only added to the haunting, yet rustic beauty of the man. His jaw was angular, his lips perfectly plump and distorted into an amused smile at seeing your face.
“Princess,” he mumbled, his voice low and casual. “You’re a long way from your chambers.”
You rolled your eyes. “How do you know me? We’ve never met.”
He scoffed in reaction. “Everyone in the palace knows of the lovely future Princess of Asgard. I may be just another peasant among the ranks, but I’m not as dim as most of them.”
“You certainly have the arrogance of the Prince,” you sneered back. “I did not mean to suggest that you’re simple.”
The mysterious stranger raised his eyebrow and pushed off from the wall with his shoulder. “You’ve met him?”
Shaking your head, you looked to the side sheepishly. “No.”
“Still?” chuckled the boy, taking another step toward you, but planting himself there. “And you have not tried seeking him out?”
“It isn’t protocol for me to summon him,” you sighed. “It would be considered stepping out of line.”
“Well, from my experience,” said the peasant, “Stepping out of line is the quickest way to get what you want.”
You looked at him again. “I suppose being judged so harshly without having the chance to even please my betrothed isn’t the best motivator.”
Your conversational partner shrugged. “Maybe he is simply nervous himself? Perhaps he feels those scrutinous eyes fall on him as well, and he isn’t sure how to--?”
“--I should have known, you’d never understand,” you mumbled bitterly, turning your back to him. You had no interest in listening to this apologist make excuses for whatever mental game your fiance was playing without your consent. You chose to disengage quickly, not having the energy to stand up for yourself. “My mistake. I’m sorry to have bothered you, stable boy.”
You began to walk away. “My name is Arik,” the boy called after you, his voice heightened.
You stopped. He sounded instantly contrite.
“It sounds as if I’ve thrown a switch I shouldn’t have,” he continued. “Please forgive me, Princess. I didn't mean to further distress you. I was only seeking to console with you a possible explanation as to the Prince’s rude welcome.”
Turning back, you allowed yourself a small smile. It hurt your cheeks to do so after several days of doing very little with your jaw other than bemoaning your annoying situation.
“Arik,” you repeated.
He nodded and clicked his heels, standing at attention like a general, and bowing at the waist. “At your humble service, my Lady.”
You stepped in further, gaining a closer look at the stable boy. Indeed, the tattoo moved on his chest. “I’ve never seen art like this,” you said breathlessly. The details in the ink were beautiful and delicate. Arik seemed to like you moving in and focusing your gaze on his pectorals.
“My br--Prince Thor has a similar one,” he said quietly. “It is a large bolt of lightning shooting down his back from between his shoulder blades.”
“How do you know this? Do the Princes walk about the palace nude?” you laughed.
Arik’s smile widened at your laugh. “No, Princess. I served with the Princes during our mandatory conscription. Close quarters and all.”
You sighed. “Which means the blasted stable boy knows my husband more than I!” you lamented.
He laughed with you. “Perhaps it is time The Prince conquered his bashfulness,” he agreed. “From where I stand, he is the one missing out by delaying his meeting with you.”
You felt a burning blush crawl up your cheek at the compliment. “Arik…” you paused before continuing. “...if you do know the Princes so well…could you tell me about them? If I cannot learn of my husband from himself--”
Arik took your hand in his, bringing it gently to his lips. “--if you are asking me to familiarize you with our sovereigns in their pathetic absence, I would be most happy to oblige you, Princess.”
Your heart fluttered against your ribs, and you began to feel giddy.
“Sadly,” he went on, your optimism instantly dropping off, “my services are required elsewhere in just a few moments.”
You sighed. “Oh.”
“However, if you wished to meet me here tomorrow evening,” Arik suggested, “It would be my honor to take you for a ride through the knolls.”
As much as you wanted to say yes, you knew that you had to turn him down. “The masque is tomorrow night.”
“Oh, yes, I forgot.”
There was no way Prince Loki would be able to abandon you at the masque ball set for tomorrow. It was in honor of your impending marriage. Even if you weren’t going to see his face, you would absolutely be expected to dance with him in front of the mobility of Asgard.
“If only I could leave him alone in the middle of the floor for once,” you muttered bitterly. “I’m sure he regrets our appointment tomorrow night more than I.”
Arik smiled. “I admire your passion. Perhaps, though, it would be prudent to wait until you meet the Prince, to pass your own judgment.”
“He doesn’t deserve you as a loyal servant,” you remarked.
Arik shrugged. “If you do find yourself in need of more flattering company, I have a small trundle here. As long as the nights are warm, I spend them out here. Come find me at any hour, and I will be your humble ally.”
“Thank you,” you said tenderly. “I needed a friend to find me tonight.”
“As did I, Princess,” he said, holding out a hand, brushing a small piece of hay from your hair that had settled. That tiny, intimate touch from another person was enough to make your nerves tingle. You’d gone for such a long time without any comforting physical contact.
“Then, Arik, I will leave you to your duties,” you said, pulling away before anything even more wonderful could happen. Awkwardly not knowing how to address the strapping young peasant as you left his sight, you smiled and backed out of the stable.
Arik called out after you.  “Sweet dreams, Princess.”
Tumblr media
He was all that you thought of as you went through the motions the following day in preparation for the ball. You were fitted for your gown, a rich, golden fabric draped loosely over your body and held to you with green and black ribbon. Your mask was green with gold feathers. Your hair was swept up into a complicated braid and laden with emeralds. Yet even more jewels were fastened to your ears and throat, all submitting to the green and gold palate.
Just as the palace was beginning to saturate with the odor of roasting meats and breathing bowls of wine, you were ready and escorted to the Great Hall, where the festivities were already in full swing.
Even as the room stopped to acknowledge your entrance at the top of the grand staircase, your thoughts were with the stable boy who’d been the first in Asgard to treat you like a creature with a soul, with needs and fears. No one in this room knew a thing about you even as they praised you as their new princess.
The crowd parted as you descended the staircase, revealing a tall figure dressed in green finery and Asgardian military insignia standing precisely in the center of the room. His hair was slicked back and tucked under a golden diadem, his high-necked jacket fastened from jaw to hip, a lacy black mask curling down his face so that nearly his entire visage was obscured to you.
Great, even looking right at him, I can’t see, you complained inside even as you bowed cordially, reaching Prince Loki for your first meeting. You immediately got the scent of wintergreen and pine from him when you reached proximity.
“Princess,” said a deep, restrained baritone from underneath the mask you faced. Prince Loki clicked his heels and bowed formally at the waist, which only made you long for your secret stable boy more. He shared the Prince’s posture, but that had to be from their shared military days.
“Your Highness,” you barely mustered. “At last we meet.”
“You sound disappointed,” the Prince suggested.
“Only at the bitter reception from Your Highness,” you boldly answered. “What Prince treats his betrothed as such garbage as I have been?”
Loki didn’t twitch, blink, or acknowledge your cheek. He simply took the first position of a groom about to dance with his bride with all the restricted grace of a automaton.
You went to take your position at Loki’s front for the dance. You only did so out of obligation. However, before you could touch his arm, you found yourself stepping back again in spite of yourself.
“No,” you said.
Gasps echoed about the room.
“Princess?” Loki asked, sounding insecure for the first time.
“You’ve been treating me worse than a scullery maid since the day I arrived. I’ve wanted nothing but to please you and please your subjects, but after being held in this palace like a prisoner in a cage of glass and gold, I’ve come to realize this: you don't deserve my hand. However, seeing as I am being forced to give it to you regardless, I am choosing to retain a mote of my own autonomy tonight by refusing this dance.”
No one had seen this coming from you, let alone Loki.
You sucked in your breath bravely. “If you permit me to leave this annoyance of a party right now, I will consider it our wedding present.”
Committing to the offense, you spun on your heels and quickly walked back up the staircase as the murmurs and gasps grew to a louder hum.
“Princess!” Loki was pursuing you, calling to you as you retreated.
“So NOW you seek me out, now that I humiliate you in front of the assembly?” you hissed as soon as you turned the corner. “I won’t be anyone’s ornament! May you be damned!”
He eventually gave up and remained behind. You found yourself stomping about the corridors alone, making a beeline for the stables.
Tonight, the air was even warmer. Your gown fluttered in the breeze behind you as you made your way to the stables, where no one seemed to be home.
“Arik?” you called, going inside to find no one, not even the horse, around. “Arik? Are you here?”
After a few moments of you pacing up and down the row, and you heard the sound of shuffling feet outside. You rushed back into the open night, and sure enough, Arik was returning, the black stallion bridled and tethered to his side. The horse was already wearing a saddle built for two.
“My Lady?” Arik called, slightly out of breath.
“Did I find you at a bad time? You look disheveled,” you remarked, taking in how Arik looked like he’d thrown himself at a pile of laundry and decided whatever garments stuck to his body would create his wardrobe for the evening: a white peasant shirt loosely tied at the neck, and black pants.
Arik shook his head. “Alvis was startled by a serpent. Reining him in proved a challenge.”
“Then, perhaps he wouldn’t be amenable to the possibility of a ride this evening?” you asked, batting your eyelashes.
Smiling, Arik raked a hand through his hair. “I think he can be persuaded, but…shouldn’t you be at the gala, Princess?”
You scoffed, taking the ribbon tying your braid together and unfurling your hair, shaking it loose until every gem fell to the grass. “If His Highness wished to dance with me, he would have thought of this before casting me off like an old glove.”
He snickered. “It didn’t go well, I take it?”
You shook your head. “I wouldn’t even stay for supper.”
“Well, that won’t do, Princess. This has already been a trying week for you. You need sustenance.” He indicated the double-seated saddle on the back of Alvis. “I’m sure the horse is well now, my Lady. I can take you to a place I know of on the edge of the kingdom, where we can remedy that.”
Nodding enthusiastically at his offer, you stepped up to the horse, suddenly realizing that you’d never ridden before. Arik seemed to be able to read your mind, scooping you up into his arms and placing you on Alvis before quickly mounting the horse himself.
You got the briefest hint of wintergreen and pine as you wrapped your arms around his waist.
Tumblr media
Arik took you through the knolls and orchards south of the city proper as the sun descended and night returned. The shadows of trees along the path fell across your faces as you rode through the lawns and groves, away from everyone else and off into a better place. Arik showed you how to stretch your arms out to pick apples and pears off the fruit trees you brushed past along the way. You laughed as you made a game out of who could nick more treats before being caught and chased along a few meters by an irate farmer who happened to be walking offside.
You were brought to a waterfall on the edge of the kingdom, where you and the handsome stable boy sat on a boulder, close enough to the falls to feel the chilly mist. As you feasted on your ill-gotten fruit, Arik told you about your intended, and answered every question you had.
He was beautiful in the soft moonglow. A perfect specimen, healthy and strong, but also brooding and sweet. Ridiculous as it seemed (it had taken less than a day), you were completely in love with Arik. He was more of a god in his humble rags as he sat before you now than Prince Loki could ever be while arrayed in his furs and finery.
Something bothered you while he spoke: Arik spoke very fondly of the Prince in spite of your criticisms, almost as if he was trying to sell him to you. It was as if Arik could sense your growing feelings for him, and he was perhaps trying to protect you by throwing you off of his trail.
“Tell me, Arik,” you implored, “Do you think Prince Loki even has the ability to love?”
“Princess, do you expect love to come from your arranged marriage?”
You shrugged. “I was hoping for some.”
Arik smiled tenderly and took your hand. “If I know Prince Loki, he will take care of you and your children for your whole lives.”
Shaking your head, you pulled your hand away. “That isn’t what I want! I want love!”
“But--”
“--I can’t ever love Prince Loki,” you said decidedly.
Arik’s shoulders dropped, and his smile disappeared. “That is very sad to hear, My Lady, That notion will only lead to a woeful match. If I know him, he wishes only for your happiness. But why do you sound so certain of this?”
“Because without trust, there can be no love…and how can I trust someone whose face I’ve never seen?” you explained, breaking down in tears at last, leaning against Arik’s broad shoulder.
He gripped you tightly, and you felt safe in his arms, wishing you could be there forever. “Let’s run away.”
He didn’t respond. You found yourself doubling down. “I mean it, Arik. I could live a thousand years with you starting tonight.”
He pulled away from you far enough to make eye contact. His face was once of concern, of seriousness. “You can’t mean this. We barely know one another.”
“I do! I do!” you said quickly. “Arik, you see me as not a Princess, but a woman, someone who wants to make the best of a fraught situation. You understand my soul,” you wept.
Arik looked touched. He pursed his lips as he thought of what to say next. “My Lady, I don’t know what to say…”
“Take me away with you. Let’s go tonight,” you proposed.
“No, Princess,” he insisted, pushing you away, standing straight. “You are engaged.”
“So, you won’t have me, and he doesn’t want me…no one wants me,” you whispered.
Arik’s heart broke for you, and he returned you to his embrace. “Eloping would be instant death for us both, my Lady,” he said quietly. “If it weren’t this way…”
“Oh, Arik, I wish you were the Prince!” you cried, laying your lips against his and putting your palm against his cheek. He kissed you back, wrapping his arms around your whole body tightly.
“Will I see you again after tonight?” you asked softly once your lips parted.
He sighed. “It may not be a good idea,” he mused, breaking your heart. “Even this beautiful kiss we’ve just shared is enough to condemn us.”
You nodded. “I would never wish to cause your death, Arik.”
“Then, let’s stay out tonight,” he suggested. “With the promise that we won’t ever address the notion of running away ever again.”
“I agree.”
He returned you just before dawn, to the door of your chambers, giving you one final kiss before leaving. Just before he turned the corner to return to the stables, he stopped to give you one more piece of advice.
“I really do know the Prince intimately, Princess,” he insisted. “And if I know him, I know that if you give him your hand next week, he will give you his heart.”
You felt a hot tear sting your eye. “I trust you,” you said with a small nod.
Arik smiled. “Then, perhaps, there can be love here after all.”
It took all of your strength to be reserved as you closed your door to the last hope of ever having a happy life with Arik the stable boy.
Tumblr media
As promised, Arik had disappeared, removing any temptation you’d had to seek him out and go back on your own word to bind yourself to Prince Loki. You let the depression settle over you, painting you in a numbing glaze of complacency in your own imprisonment. You were meant to be a shackle on the Prince’s ankle, as promised by virtue of your birth. You would have to resign yourself to that, and be content with that.
Five days later, at dusk, you were escorted down the long hall leading to Asgard’s throne room. You wore a grand gown in peacock-blue, your hair down and loose about your shoulders, a golden circlet draped across your forehead, your face obscured by a veil so thick you needed a bridesmaid to guide you to your palace at the groom’s side for the ceremony.
Goddamnit, even now I don't know what he looks like, you admitted the defeat bitterly. Your face was stone. You’d mentally prepared yourself for this, but it required a stiff upper lip to endure.
The ceremony was grand, but brief. A cauldron of eternal fire received your written vows to one another, and as the smoke formed the great tree Yggdrasil above your heads, you braced yourself for the moment where Loki would lift your veil and look upon your face.
You closed your eyes as the Allfather gave Loki permission to greet his new bride with a first kiss. The ambient light increased behind your lids as the veil lifted. You waited in silence for several moments for the kiss.
Instead, you heard a familiar voice say “Open your eyes, my Lady.”
Obeying, you didn’t expect the kind blue eyes that belonged to your beloved stable boy to be looking down at you from the face of your husband. Confused, you raised an eyebrow and mouthed, “Arik? But…Loki?”
He shook his head and said softly, “We are one and the same, my dear.”
“No,” you mumbled. “It can’t be!”
The deceitful Prince took your hand and quickly kissed it. “I came into this match with the same fears as you, my love, and I had to know that you could love me for who I was, and not what my title was.”
“But…you were so mean to me…”
The Prince shook his head. “Please accept the grave mistake I made in choosing to avoid you. I thought that you’d already resented me due to our reluctant arrangement.”
“I wanted to meet you, to know you!”
“And so you have,” Loki said with a tender smile. “I assure you that Arik is in my heart. He was the real mask I wore, in order to have the courage to meet you for myself.”
You couldn’t believe it. “So, now we’re going to go forward and build an entire life off of a charade?”
“You said you trusted me,” Loki added. “Perhaps we can begin there, and with a kiss.”
The line was pure Arik. You were sold.
“It IS you!” you smiled happily, a warm wave of affection making your head spin.
As the Prince leaned down to give you your bridal kiss, Arik’s lips met yours and removed the last doubts you would ever have.

Pledge Allegiance
Prince! Loki x female reader
18+ | contains a little smut
Tumblr media
“There’s a guest here for you, your majesty.” Your messenger spoke, averting his gaze as he entered the room.
“Who is this guest?” You questioned, glancing at him.
“He said he’s a prince, should I tell him to wait in the—” he began before you interrupted him.
“Send him in.” You instructed.
“You want me to send him in? Now?” He asked incredulously.
“I don’t take kindly to repeating myself.” You answered evenly.
“Yes your majesty, sorrows.” He apologised before turning around and leaving.
You turned back towards the court painter, the silence resuming as he continued to paint you before you heard the door opening.
“Hello silvertongue.” You welcomed coyly as Loki stepped inside. His gaze darkened a shade as he took you in, laying sideways on the chaise lounge, nude, a thin layer of silk draped across your lower body shielding your modesty as you looked up at him.
“Y/n.” He greeted fondly, gaze meeting yours again as he stepped towards you before crouching down and taking your hand. “My queen.” He added, kissing the back of your hand before lowering it. You nodded chastely in reply as he stood again.
“And pray tell, how may I help you?” You queried.
“I’d prefer to speak in the absence of doting ears.” He answered, clearly gesturing to the other person in the room.
“Well you heard the man, he’s a prince” you turned to the court painter “make haste.” You ordered, flicking your wrist before the man scampered out. Turning back towards Loki, you picked up the grapes that were propped up in front of you. “Loki, would you like a grape?” You offered with a smile as you ate one. “I tend to grow quite peckish myself when posing for portraits” you spoke, eating another “and then these are just here, teasing me.” You snorted. Lifting one of your fingers, you gestured Loki closer before grabbing another grape with your free hand. Instead of crouching, Loki knelt in front of you as you fed him the grape with a wide smile on your face.
“How succulent” he complimented, looking deeply into your eyes once he finished the grape “a refreshing burst of sweetness.” He grinned.
“Now, away from flibbertigibbets, tell me what’s so important that you mustered up the dark energy needed to come here, surely it wasn’t just to pay me a visit.” You insisted.
“Can I not just simply visit you?” He answered bashfully.
“No.” You smiled as Loki stood up again.
“What’s so far-fetched about me coming here and paying a visit to the queen of a realm once promised to me?” Loki shot back, seemingly walking towards your unfinished portrait.
“What do you want?” You asked, smile falling.
“I remember when it used to only be me who painted you undraped, I was the only one you’d let see you so unclad” Loki reminisced as he looked at the painting “but I must admit, your court painter has done a splendid job at capturing your beauty y/n.”
“I could get him to paint you next, I’m sure he’ll be able to capture those sleepless nights under your eyes.” You snapped, sitting up as you pulled a silk robe around you.
“And she bites.” Loki smirked, turning towards you.
“Oh, I can do a lot more than just bite.” You answered, narrowing your gaze.
“Yes” he agreed “I seem to recall many of those sleepless nights were spent with you.”
“What do you want Loki?” You asked, looking up at him. Walking towards you, Loki stood in front of you, raising his hand to caress your cheek as he looked down into your eyes. Wordlessly, his thumb found your lips, circling them before he dragged his thumb down, your lips moving in the process before they were released, his thumb travelling lower. It ventured between the valley of your breasts and lower as Loki knelt back onto the floor.
“I find this more appropriate, a queen shouldn’t look up at a prince, especially not in her own realm.” He finally broke the silence.
“Even in a realm you insist you gifted me.” You spat.
“I did gift it to you.”
“I bested you.” You insisted.
“Did you?” He questioned, kissing one of your knees, lips travelling up your legs. Using one of his hands, Loki pushed them apart as he kissed your inner thighs. “Or did I let you win?”
Before you could even answer, your hands had curled into fists, fists that bored into the chaise lounge below you as you arched your back towards Loki, his name escaping your lips in a lewd moan. You moved further to the edge as Loki’s tongue ravished through your folds before his lips wrapped around your clit. One of your hands found the back of his head, fingers working through the knots in his hair as he suckled against your clit leaving you thoroughly pleasured.
“We are at war y/n.” He spoke between licks, not even lifting his head to speak.
“W-war?” You questioned, head thrown back with your eyes closed.
“Yes, a very real, a very merciless war.” He stated, lips smoothing over your clit as he spoke.
“And what can I do?” You asked, looking down at him. Without answering, Loki engulfed the bundle of nerves with his mouth again, making you moan out loud.
“There are two things” he began before you nodded “first, you could finish” he grinned, glancing up at you “refresh me with another burst of sweetness.”
“Loki” you sighed with rapture as he alternated between licking and sucking your clit. You could feel the pleasure swelling in your abdomen as he continued his victimless torture before your delight gushed out of you. Loki continued, slowly licking you until you pushed him away. Sitting back against the chaise, you tried to compose yourself as Loki stood. You closed your legs as you looked at him, wiping his face.
“And now I’m looking up at you again.” You noted.
“Secondly, I need your allegiance.” Loki answered seriously.
“My allegiance?”
“Yes.” He nodded.
“Was it not you who cursed me to an eternity by your side?”
“I simply saved your life.” He shrugged.
“Exactly, you saved my life. There’s no war where I fight against you Loki.” You assured as he crouched down again.
“Do you promise?”
“I promise” you nodded “do you want me to swear on it like when we were children?” You chuckled.
“Your word is enough.” He smiled, kissing the corner of your mouth. Turning your head, you captured Loki’s lips in a proper kiss, an uncouth one. It didn’t take long for him to join you on the chaise lounge, below you, holding you down against him as he lifted his hips, fucking up into you.

Who Did This To You?
Summary: You'd grown up with the Princes of Asgard. They were your friends. And sure, things weren't always as sweet as pie with the God of Mischief, but you could trust him.
I'm a slut for (vaguely) enemies to lovers and the "Who did this to you?" trope, but really, who isn't?
Of course, that means someone did something bad, so here's your warning for attempted sexual assault.

The slap of your feet on the cool stone echoed around the palace walls, the familiarity of your surroundings lost as the fear distorted the maze in front of you. Their yells seemed to follow you even as the distance between you grew, your ragged breaths doing nothing to drown out their voices. You skidded around the corner, lifting the skirt of your dress as you ran up the stairs, up and up until at last you recognised the floor you were on. The rational part of your brain hadn’t caught up yet, you were moving purely on instinct as the tears spilled down your cheeks.
Finally, the dim light of the palace grew brighter, and you had to swallow down the bile in your throat as the guards turned to you, eyebrows drawn together as they took in your dishevelled appearance. Your lungs burned for air, your legs struggling to keep up with the fear driving you on. One of the guards reached out an arm to stop you, but you slipped past his grasp as he called out to you. The thud of boots behind you as they followed sent another wave of nausea through you, and you stumbled, your hands grazing the stone beneath you as they broke your fall.
The door ahead of you creaked open, and you lifted your head to meet the gaze of your prince.
—----
The trickle of blood was warm down your leg as you blinked back tears, trying your best to ignore the stinging of your knees as you pushed yourself to your feet. You rounded quickly on Loki, your palm connecting with his cheek with a satisfying CRACK.
He stumbled back, cradling his face in shock. “How dare you! I am your prince-”
“I don’t care if you’re a prince! You’re an arse, is what you are!”
Thor’s chuckle echoed from behind you and you spun around to him, embarrassment heating your face. The golden prince raised a brow at you. “You may be right, Y/N, but you probably shouldn’t say it quite so loudly.”
You bit your lip, looking up at the palace that sparkled in the sunlight. You flicked your eyes back down at Thor. “He pushed me.” You couldn’t help the petulance that laced your words.
Thor frowned at the boy behind you. “Brother, you shouldn’t hurt a Lady.”
You heard Loki’s snort. “Look at her, she certainly doesn’t look like one.”
It was your turn to frown, and you turned to him as you fumbled with the knot you had tied your skirts in around your thighs. “Well I couldn’t exactly race you if I was tripping over my dress, now could I?”
Loki sneered, crossing his arms over his chest. “You still lost.”
“Because you cheated!”
“Sshh!” Thor’s hushing stopped you mid-march towards Loki, and it was then that you heard the quiet chatter of your mother and the Queen.
You dipped into a low curtsey as the pair appeared along the path, arms linked together in friendship. “Your Majesty.”
“Lady Y/N.” Queen Frigga greeted with a smile, “We thought we might find you all out here.”
Your mother pulled away from the Queen, extending her hand to you. “Come, let us leave Her Majesty to talk to her sons.”
You took her hand with a well-practised smile, curtseying to the royals in turn. “Your Majesty, Your Royal Highness, Your Royal Highness.” Thor and Loki struggled to contain their amusement at your manners; having grown up together you only ever bothered to refer to them by their proper titles in the presence of others.
You walked away arm in arm with your mother, barely listening as she chatted enthusiastically about your closeness with the princes. Instead, your mind wandered to what bribes you could offer Thor to fill Loki’s bed with raw fish.
—--
You panted beneath Archer’s touch, his hands firm on your waist as he nipped at your throat. Your eyes flew open as you bit your lip to hide your smile in the moonlight. It was Archer, wasn’t it? Or was it Hunter? You swallowed your giggle as you considered the absurdity of your own forgetfulness, your distracted mind not noticing the glimmer of magic at the corner of your vision.
The boy pulled away, searching for your lips, but you planted your hands on his chest, batting your eyelashes at him. “I should get back before they notice I’m gone.” You murmured, smiling at his protests. “I’ll see you soon, okay?”
You pushed off the tree and out of his grasp before he could say another word, making your way back onto the path and up towards the palace. You managed to avoid anyone of importance, slipping into your chambers unnoticed.
You sighed as you took in Loki’s nonchalant expression as he reclined back on your couch, his feet propped up on the coffee table before him as he lifted a goblet to his lips. “It’s quite improper to let yourself into a Lady’s rooms, you know.”
The God of Mischief smiled wickedly at you, eyeing you up as you made your way over to the mirror, inspecting your reflection for any signs of dishevelment. “And you know how much I love all things improper.”
You rolled your eyes, choosing to ignore him. “Is Thor still walking me down to dinner?”
“Of course, who else would escort the birthday girl?” Loki sat up, resting his elbows on his knees as he watched you smooth out your dress. “Lady Y/N, finally of age… All of the Lords will be scrambling to court you.”
You snorted, turning to him with a smirk. “Let them. You know I’m not-”
“I wonder what they’ll say when they find out you’ve been whoring yourself out to a servant,” Loki said frankly, watching you over the rim of his goblet as he took a sip. You opened and closed your mouth in shock, before his visage shimmered and faded. A warm body pressed against your back as an arm wrapped around your waist, his other hand tucking your hair behind your ear as you stood frozen. Loki’s breath tickled your neck as he whispered in your ear, “You really should be more careful, darling, anyone could have happened upon your little meeting in the woods.”
You silently scolded your body for the reaction to his touch, a shiver creeping up your spine. He was teasing you, mocking you, enjoying the proximity of your bodies contrasting your mutual dislike for each other. You pulled away with a frown. He let you go, watching as you picked up his discarded goblet and downed the contents. You winced at the burn in your throat, coughing. “You’re such an arse.”
Loki smirked at your words, pulling a flask from his pocket as he made his way over to you. He poured the amber liquid into the goblet in your hand as you jabbed a finger into his chest. “Don’t you dare say a word to anyone.”
“Would I really do that?” He raised an eyebrow at you and reached for the goblet. You pulled it away from him with a pout.
“Promise me, Loki.”
“You have my word, darling,” He smiled, tracing his thumb over your cheek. You frowned once again at his mocking and stepped back, but he caught the hand that was wrapped around the goblet. “I think you’d better give that back.”
“Why?”
“It’s not meant for your delicate mortal body.”
“I’m not delicate-” Your childish rebuke cut off as all the blood seemed to rush to your head at once, and you swayed on the spot. Loki took the goblet from you, nudging you back onto the couch.
The prince hummed as he considered you, “I probably should have stopped you before you finished the glass.” He sat down next to you with a sigh and you bounced slightly. “Oh well.”
You closed your eyes as the dizziness began to subside, reaching out a thump and meeting Loki’s arm with a satisfying thud. “Don’t pretend you’re sorry.” You could practically hear his smug grin.
A knock sounded at the door and you opened your eyes. “Come in.”
Thor strode into the room, bowing absurdly low before you. “Happy Birthday, Y/N.”
You giggled, standing up and offering your hand to him to kiss. He did so with a wink, pulling you to tuck your hand in the crook of his arm. “How are you this evening?”
“I’m well, thank you.”
“My brother hasn’t been pestering you, has he?”
You ignored Loki’s snort of indignation. “No more than usual.”
—--
Your mother fussed with your hair as you stood outside of the banquet hall, rowdy cheers echoing down the hallway from the feast. You batted her hands away. “It’s fine, mother. Let us go in, I’m dying to say hello to the Princes.”
“They only become more handsome with each new victory under their belt, don’t they?” She smiled as if she knew what you were thinking.
“Oh, do leave it be, mother.” You rolled your eyes.
“You’re not getting any younger, dear. You could do much worse than a Prince of Asgard.” She looked at you pointedly and you huffed, pulling her into the hall.
You curtseyed to the King and Queen, and left your mother with Frigga. You made your way down the hall, nodding to those that greeted you, until a familiar booming voice called your name. Thor waved you over, motioning away one of the lords to make room next to him and you curtseyed to him before sitting down. He pulled you under his arm in a hug and you laughed, thanking him as he poured you a glass of wine.
“How have you been, Lady Y/N?”
You took a sip of your wine, glancing at Loki as he sat opposite you, immersed in conversation. You were thankful to avoid his sneer at yours and Thor’s affections. “I’m well! I’m afraid I have nothing new to tell you,” you smiled at the golden prince, “I can imagine that you have plenty of stories to tell me, though.”
Thor needed no more encouragement than that, and launched into a battle story that was sure to become legend as you waved over a server to refill the jugs of wine.
You lost track of time as you listened to his stories, laughing with your friends. Loki joined in occasionally, barely sparing you a glance. You hated to admit that his lack of acknowledgement stung; it wasn’t as if you were best friends, but you had always thought you shared a unique understanding of each other, having spent most of your childhood together.
You flicked your gaze to the guards, who were trying their best to act as if they couldn’t hear the sounds of destruction coming from the prince’s chamber. You offered them a polite smile, asking them if they might give you some space.
When you entered Loki’s rooms, they looked as if they had been ransacked. Chairs were overturned, a vase of fresh flowers lay shattered on the ground, and a seething prince paced the length of the room. The various stacks of books lay untouched, you noticed, and you tried not to smile. Even when he was angry, Loki couldn’t bring himself to destroy anything of importance.
You picked up a chair, setting it down properly and taking a seat. You waited for him to speak.
“Their favouritism knows no bounds.” Loki hissed, mostly to himself.
You grimaced; of course it was this again. “What happened?”
“They’re throwing a feast! In his honour!” He spun towards you, lifting his arms in exasperation. “They didn’t even mutter a ‘thank you’ in my direction!” He laughed dryly. “He couldn’t even remember the ambassador’s name, the oaf. I had to step in and charm my way out of war. And then he somehow befriends them, turns the whole trip around, and I’m long forgotten, once again!”
“You shouldn’t call your brother an oaf.”
“Of course you’d take his side.” Loki sneered, stepping towards you.
“I’m not. I just don’t see the point in resenting him when it’s your Father that has angered you.” You didn’t break his gaze. Most would cower under the angry gaze of the god, but he didn’t scare you. You still remembered him pre-puberty. There was nothing scary about a spoiled little boy.
You looked around the room at the destruction. “You should clean this up before anyone sees.”
The god leaned over you, placing his hands on the arms of the chair and caging you in. “Don’t tell me what to do.”
You looked at him unwaveringly, and he held your gaze with fire in his eyes, until it eventually died down. He sighed, pulling away and waving his hand. The room righted itself, and you hid your self-satisfied smirk. Instead, you stood, making your way over to him and resting your hand on his arm.
“It’s not fair, Loki, I never said it was. But you can’t give them a reason to scold you. Continue being the best you can be, and eventually they’ll have to notice.”
Loki offered you a small smile. “I preferred it when you were annoying.”
Soon, the hall began to empty, and your mother took up an empty seat next to you as Loki excused himself. You watched him go, dropping your gaze to your mother.
She wasted no time in getting to the point. “Her Majesty says that she is keen to get her sons courting, to take them away from their laddish behaviour.”
You had to stop yourself from groaning. “They’re not as laddish as you think,” you said, ignoring her obvious point.
She looked at you, unamused. “Y/N, you can’t refuse to court forever-”
“I think I shall follow Prince Loki’s sense and retire for the night, I am rather tired.” You interrupted her, standing up and kissing her on the cheek. “Goodnight, mother.”
You strode from the room before she could stop you, leaning against the wall outside to take off your heels and give your aching feet a rest. It was late enough that you were unlikely to be seen carrying your shoes, and you padded contentedly down the corridor, thinking of your bed and a glass of warm milk.
Taking a detour, you hoped to bump into a servant to request the comforting drink. You took your time, but didn’t see anyone, and so decided to head down a floor in search of assistance. The sound of laughter greeted you as you descended and you hurried towards the sound, eager to get back to your room.
Two guards stood to attention when they saw you, stifling their smiles as they nodded. “Can we help you, M’Lady?” One asked.
You smiled at them and opened your mouth to speak, but the second guard interrupted you. “Or maybe you can help us.” He smirked, nudging the other one. They shared a look before turning to you.
You frowned in confusion as they stepped towards you, but you barely had time to process the predatory look in their eyes before they grabbed you, pulling you into a darkened alcove. One pulled you back against him, his hand over your mouth to muffle your screams as he used his other arm to pin your arms to your sides. You dropped your shoes as you struggled against him, squeezing your legs together as the other one lifted your skirt, his rough hands dragging against your thighs. Your heart thumped loudly in your chest as fear and disbelief coiled painfully in your stomach.
He pulled a dagger from its sheath, trailing the cold blade against the exposed skin on your chest, and you yelped against the hand on your mouth as he pressed it into your flesh, drawing blood. He collected it on the tip and brought it to his mouth, licking it off.
They both panted in excitement and the one in front of you chuckled quietly. “I’ve always wanted to fuck a real lady.” He shoved his leg between yours, pressing the dagger against your thigh. “Wonder if your cunt feels any better than the whore’s down the inn.”
You squeezed your eyes shut against his hungry gaze, tears cascading down your cheeks. This couldn’t be happening, it had to be some kind of awful dream. How had your wonderful night turned so awful so quickly? You were about to be raped, helpless against two armed men.
“Erik? Gunnar?” A voice called out, and the two men froze. Your eyes flew open and you watched as the guard in front of you slid the dagger back in its sheath, your skirt falling back down as he stepped out of the alcove.
The other guard held you tight, but your heart filled with hope and desperation. Surely you could take on one guard? You certainly couldn’t give up on what might be your only chance.
Slowly, you reached out your foot, searching for your shoes. When you found one, you slid it on, stamping on the guard's foot as hard as you could. It didn’t do as much as you’d wanted with him wearing boots, but it was enough that you could duck down out of his grasp. He latched onto your dress before you could make it more than a few feet away, and you spun around, digging your nails into any skin you could find, scratching until you drew blood. He swore loudly as his grip loosened.
You fled as fast as you could.
Finally, the dim light of the palace grew brighter, and you had to swallow down the bile in your throat as two guards turned to you, eyebrows drawn together as they took in your dishevelled appearance.
Loki took in the fear in your eyes, your tear-stained face, the bleeding cut on your chest, all in an instant. He moved quickly, silently helping you to stand before picking you up into his arms before your legs could give way. He cradled you to him as he moved you through his rooms and part of you wanted to lean into his warmth, the strangely comforting scent of him, but you couldn’t get the thought of the two guards out of your head.
He sat you on the edge of his bed and reached for your shaking hand. You let him take it, your sobs turning into shallow hiccups as you watch his thumb trace calming circles on your skin. As you calmed, you finally met his gaze, watching the storm behind his eyes.
He stood and you watched him through bleary eyes, waiting for him to laugh and make you leave. Your mind was racing, your heart hammering with adrenaline, and all you wanted to do was crawl into a corner and screw your eyes shut against the pain in your head.
Instead of laughing, Loki went to the bathroom, the sound of running water filling the room. When he returned, he pulled a chair over and sat opposite you.
“Who did this to you?” The words were quiet, but firm.
You couldn’t stop the sobs that wracked your body at his words, the terrible gasps you made for air as tears began to stream once again. You couldn’t see the pain on his face as he watched you shake, yearning to reach out and comfort you.
The images replayed in your head, and you cried harder as you realised that he was watching them too, searching your mind for the answers he wanted. You could feel his boiling rage before he closed the connection.
“Here’s what’s going to happen.” His words were cold, and some part of you knew that he was protecting you from his true emotions, but you couldn’t help the painful pang in your chest at the thought that his anger might be directed at you. You swallowed the sob in your throat to let him continue. “You will go and have a bath, and stay as long as you need. I will have a maid fetch your things and bring them to you. You will sleep here tonight, under my protection. Understood?”
You’d never taken orders from him, and normally you’d laugh at him for even trying to boss you around. But you ached to feel the warm envelopment of the water, and you knew there was nowhere safer to be.
You bit your lip and nodded, standing on shaky legs. Loki reached out a hand to steady you, but you flinched at his touch. He withdrew it immediately, watching you silently as you half-stumbled to the bathroom and closed the door.
You stripped as quickly as you could with your shaking hands, determined not to let yourself break until you were in the bath. The water was too hot, but you welcomed the burn as you sunk in, the tears streaming silently down your face.
You held yourself tightly, as if you could stop yourself from falling apart completely. When you noticed the blood caked under your nails, you had to swallow the bile in your throat, hiding your hands beneath the bubbles as you scrubbed them.
A quiet knock sounded at the door and you struggled to find your voice to call them in as you crossed your arms over your chest. You averted your eyes as the maid placed down your things, collecting your dress. She stopped at the door and you looked up at her.
She bit her lip nervously and gestured to the dress. “His Royal Highness says to get rid of this, M’Lady.”
You swallowed hard and looked away. “Burn it.”
—----
Despite your protests, Loki insisted on you sleeping in his bed, and you watched as he settled himself on the couch. You fell asleep quickly, the lack of adrenaline leaving you both mentally and physically exhausted. It didn’t last as long as you’d hoped, and you woke up as the birds started singing, the sky still dark.
The tears leaked silently onto the pillow, and you found yourself afraid of your own thoughts. It’s as if you could still feel the two guards’ hands on you, and you absentmindedly traced your fingers over the cut on your chest. You sniffled, sitting up on the bed and wiping your nose.
You could make out Loki’s long form in the low light, his feet propped up over the edge of the couch as he slept. You didn’t think as you stood up, your aching legs carrying you gingerly over to him, stopping barely a foot away. You ran your eyes over his form, his dark hair splayed on the pillow, down to his softly parted lips. Your gaze lingered on the exposed skin of his chest as the top of his night shirt splayed open, watching the soft rise and fall of his breaths.
Why had you run here? Was this really where your subconscious had carried you? Why hadn’t you run to Thor? You bit your lip as you thought. You didn’t want Thor to see you like this. You’d never truly been vulnerable around him. And despite your best efforts, Loki had seen a side to you that most hadn’t, on more than one occasion.
You frowned down at your book as Loki sat down in the armchair opposite you, hoping that he would take the hint and leave you alone.
“I see you’ve already given up on the literature I recommended to you.”
You sighed, sparing him a glance. “I finished it.”
“All three novels?” He quirked an eyebrow at you.
“Yes.” You couldn’t hide your annoyance, trying once again to actually take in the passage in front of you.
“I didn’t know you could read so quickly.”
You knew he was only teasing, but the words stung, the comments from your tutor too fresh in your mind. You swallowed thickly, blinking back tears as you willed yourself not to cry in front of him.
Loki sighed. “I’m only winding you up, Y/N.”
“Well don’t!” You slammed your book shut, standing up with a huff. Loki caught your arm as you stormed past.
“What’s wrong?”
You bit your lip, knowing it was futile to pretend you were fine. Still, you didn’t particularly want to pour your heart out to him.
“My tutor says that we should stop our lessons. That I read too much and it doesn’t do a girl any good to be too smart.”
Loki dropped your arm and you sighed at his expression.
“I’ll be fine, Loki.” Your reassured him. “I’m just being over-dramatic.” You turned away and left the library quickly, sure that you’d embarrassed yourself enough for one day.
The next morning your mother informed you that Queen Frigga had recommended a new tutor, insisting that ‘young ladies should always be able to explore their potential’.
Despite your differences and your difficulties, you found you did trust Loki. You knew that he would never hurt you. You flicked your gaze back up to his face, your breath catching in your throat as you found him watching you.
“I can’t sleep.” You whispered.
He didn’t say anything, sitting up and gesturing for you to sit beside him. You sat, fiddling with the sleeve of your nightgown. Finally, he spoke.
“What do you need?” His words were soft, quiet.
You thought for a moment, your mind clinging to a ridiculous idea, a childish need for reassurance. You couldn’t bring yourself to say the words, instead looking at him and tapping your forehead with your finger.
He understood instantly, and you felt him searching your thoughts. Part of you expected him to laugh at the notion, but instead he offered you a small smile and reached out a gentle hand, tugging you to him.
You fell onto his chest, his arm around your shoulders, and your heart beat rapidly in your chest. It should have felt strange, being in Loki’s arms, but you found yourself melting into his warmth. You felt him rest his chin on your head, and realised just how comforting it was to be held by him.
—----
You didn’t realise you had fallen asleep until you woke to sunlight streaming in the windows. You blinked slowly, flicking your gaze to the couch to see it empty. Lifting your head, you found yourself resting on Loki’s chest, enveloped in his embrace. He must have carried you to the bed.
You wanted to be embarrassed, mortified even, but couldn’t find the energy to care as you stretched your muscles, finding yourself content in that moment.
Then, the memories of the night before came flooding back, and you breaths grew quicker. You felt like you couldn’t breathe, and you sat up quickly, gasping for breath as you hyperventilated. You crawled off the bed, sliding onto the floor as you held yourself, trying to catch your breath.
Loki moved to the edge of the bed silently, and you felt him spread his legs behind you. He pulled you back to him, your back to the edge of the bed as you sat between his legs. He tilted your head up, his fingers kneading at your temples.
“Close your eyes,” he said quietly, and you obeyed, focusing on the feeling of his fingers. Your breathing began to slow, and you tried to untense your shoulders as you allowed him to ground you.
You stayed like that for a while, until you felt relaxed enough to open your eyes. You tilted your head up, looking up at him.
He smiled, a rare smile that wasn’t cruel or mocking, and it fluttered something in your chest.
“You should go and get ready, I’ll have breakfast brought to your chambers.”
You instinctively grabbed his hand in an iron grip. “Come with me,” you whispered, the thought of being alone sending a shock of panic through you. You didn’t want to think about how quickly your dynamic had changed, how much you needed him all of a sudden.
“Of course.” He squeezed your hand, before sliding out from behind you. You watched him change before your eyes, a glimmer of magic, and he was now dressed for the day and looking as if he hadn’t slept on a couch for half the night.
He collected your robe from the back of the chair, offering it to you. You slid it on, thankful for your chambers not being too far, a perk of being the Queen’s favourites.
The walk seemed slow, your legs tired from the night before, and you kept your eyes down, willing to get there as quickly as possible. As you passed a couple of maids chatting on their way to the Prince’s rooms, you found yourself turning to them, something in their conversation tugging at your brain.
“What did you just say?” You interrupted, not realising you had stopped.
“Oh! Your Royal Highness!” They curtseyed to Loki before turning to you. “M’Lady,” they curtseyed again before sharing an anxious look.
“We were just saying what a shame it was, M’Lady.”
“What do you mean?” You asked, tilting your head. You felt Loki stop behind you.
“About the two guards. They were found this morning, ‘said they drank too much and went for a swim and were found washed up on the river bank.”
Loki must have gestured behind you because the maids dipped into a curtsey and hurried away. Your hands were shaking when you turned back to him. Loki gently tilted your chin up with his fingers, and you found his eyes dark and stormy.
“No one will ever hurt you again, my love.”

Imagine #007
Imagine being Loki's lover when he is the prince of Asgard. Whenever he needs to go to war, he doesn't take you, all the waiting makes him more feral on the ground.
Now imagine him coming back after a long war and a grand victory. He skips his own celebration to be in you. He takes you roughly then sweetly, and then uses your body some more. You are too tired and when he makes you come for the nth time you try to move away from him.
He just summons a couple of satin ribbons and ties your hand to the headboard.. "let's start over shall we?" What have you gotten yourself into!
Tumblr media
EDIT: How long do you think you can keep up with Loki? 👀

On his wedding day to you, Reverend Will Ransome would wake up at sunrise, taking his time to wash himself, get dressed, and make his way to the church for his own wedding
He would take advantage of the early hours of the morning to be alone with his own thoughts, except almost all of his thoughts would be on you. Will would mull over how tomorrow, he would wake up as a married man. Instead of an empty bed, Will would find you by his side as his wedded partner, a gift bestowed upon by God for him to cherish for the rest of his life. Instead of spending the morning contemplating in circles, the reverend would be with his newly wed wife, talking to you about his thoughts and eagerly listening to yours. And instead of retiring alone at nightfall, he would be comforted by your warmth and your love, spending hours in your arms until you both drifted off to sleep.
Heavenly father, hallowed be thy name, grant him the strength not to stray from the path of a devoted husband.
After an hour or two of solitude that would finally come to an end after years of longing, Will would politely interact with the guests while taking his rightful place at the altar as the groom.
As soon as Will saw you enter the church, holding a bunch of wildflowers and forget-me-nots, his heart would swell with joy and gratitude. He would silently thank God for bestowing him this gift of spending his life with you. And before the official vows, he would make his own, silent promise to make you happy as possible for as long as he lived.
Wedding superlative: Most likely to get caught in a compromising position right before the ceremony (don't ask me how I know this, I just do)
King Henry V from The Hollow Crown
Tumblr media
On his wedding day to you, King Henry V would remain as stoic as possible in the presence of his servants while they readied him for the ceremony.
Yet, occasionally his eyes would drift towards the small, intricate portrait of you that stood on his dressing table. Henry commissioned for it to be painted (based on his own description of you) for his personal desire after the first meeting with you. Every morning and every night that he could not be with you, he would look at the portrait and remind himself of the one that ruled his heart, his only beloved.
And it delighted him to know that one day, that portrait would be replaced with a larger, more grand painting of you and Henry, the rulers of England. Perhaps, if God willed it, you would be holding his future heir in your arms when the time came for your portrait.
Thinking about the heir would almost make Henry break his stoic facade, not because he would be thinking of fatherhood but because he would be musing over your wedding night. How would you feel after the ceremony? Would you be open to consummating your marriage?
He would gently lick his bottom lip, remembering the first time he kissed you on the lips. It was on your third meeting, after Henry sweetly asked for your permission to do something so bold as to embrace you. If it weren't for his own restraint, Henry would have been caught blushing like a virgin by his own servants. That would certainly set some tongues wagging about the castle.
"Nev'r has't i seen true beauty until this moment.  How f'rtunate i might not but beest, yond while oth'r men spendeth their whole liveth seeking Elysium, i has't t bef're me", were King Henry's thoughts as soon as he stood in the church, gazing upon you while you entered, wearing a pristine white wedding gown and holding the arm of your father.
(Translation: Never have I seen true beauty until this moment. How fortunate I must be, that while other men spend their whole lives seeking paradise, I have it before me.)
At that moment, all of the royal stoicism the king of England had faded away like the morning dew. He smiled as if he were blessed with everything he could ever want.
His eyes did not leave you even as you stood beside him at the altar and knelt before the priest.
Henry recited his vows without flinching or faltering. As soon as the priest gave him permission, the king of England lifted your veil and proudly brought his lips to yours.
Your wedding would be one of the happiest days of the king's life, and one he hoped that you would also cherish
Wedding superlative: Most likely to have a coronation and a wedding on the same day
Prince Loki of Asgard from Thor:
Tumblr media
On his wedding day to you, Prince Loki of Asgard would be pacing through the palace in the hours before the ceremony, his hands behind his back
He had already imagined this day more times than he could count, marrying you, the love of his life. And with each day leading up to your wedding, his fantasies would grow so vivid, so exciting, so intimidating that he would hardly be able to sleep
Thoughts would be plaguing his mind every waking moment while the palace was being decorated for the celebrations
Would he be a good husband to you? How would he be able to satisfy you on the wedding night? And what if he displeased you in some way, shape, or form? Would you go to Thor instead and seek comfort in his arms? No…no, no, it couldn't be. Loki shook his head. You loved him. You would never betray him and he would never betray you.
With a million butterflies in his stomach, he would go to the throne room with Thor by his side, wearing his armor, brand new emerald green robes, and his signature golden horned crown.
Seeing you standing next to him in a beautiful wedding gown completely took his breath away, and it only strengthened his resolve that he would stay by your side for the rest of his life.
He would probably struggle to look you in the eye, keeping a shy, boyish smile on his lips the whole time simply because of how much you resembled a goddess of beauty
In the presence of the All-Father, Prince Loki would make his vows to protect you, remain loyal to you, and perform his duties as a husband with utmost respect. And when the time comes, in front of all of Asgard, he would bring his lips to yours, sharing your first kiss as a married couple.
Wedding superlative: Most likely to get shy when putting the ring on his bride's finger
Loki of Asgard and Jotunheim from Avengers: Infinity War
Tumblr media
On his wedding day to you, Loki would probably be overly excited about making sure this wedding was one to remember for the centuries to come
Until he met you, Loki believed he would never be able to find true love, let alone find someone to spend the rest of his life with. But all of that changed when Loki had a crush on you and Thor decided to play Cupid, conveniently leaving his brother alone with you in parks and cafés. Loki and you eventually caught onto Thor's plan, and eventually began placing bets with each other about what stupid excuse Thor would use to leave the situation. The result? Loki fell hopelessly in love with your wit, your humor, and your beauty.
And now that he would finally get the chance to celebrate his union with someone so special, Loki decided to leave no stone unturned in making your wedding as wonderful as possible.
With his brother's help, he arranged to have the magic of Asgard brought to your Midgardian venue, complete with a long banquet, floral arrangements with Asgardian flowers, and even a few lute players to entertain the guests while they dined
Loki even had a special tiara made for you to wear during the wedding - a simple yet elegant golden wreath tiara with diamonds and emeralds. He would've had a more extravagant design made, but every other female in his life suggested that he should choose a tiara that would suit any wedding outfit you chose
The moment he saw you, walking down the aisle in your wedding outfit, his jaw dropped. For a moment, he felt like his heart stopped and he went to Valhalla. When you approached him at the altar, he couldn't help but whisper, "You look absolutely ravishing, my dear…My Queen."
After bringing his hand to your lips, he would recite his vows to you
"I, Loki, prince of Asgard, Odinson, the rightful king of Jotunheim, God of Mischief, do hereby pledge to you my undying fidelity. I promise to always keep you safe, to keep you happy, and to keep you loved. You are my everything, and I will never ever stop fighting for us, wherever our journey may take us. And I swear on all that I hold dear in this life, that I shall never betray you, nor let anyone, man or god alike, take you from me. For as long as I live, you will be my wife and my lover."
Possible first dance song: "The Only Exception" by Paramore
Wedding superlative: Most likely to instigate a brawl between two people at his wedding (and do nothing to stop it)
Bill Hazeldine from Suburban Shootout
Tumblr media
On his wedding day to you, Bill Hazeldine would wake up, giddy as a schoolboy (after being unable to sleep last night until he called you on his mobile). His parents would giggle while he darts about, getting ready at a pace never seen before.
It was no secret that Bill was excited about marrying you. He spent weeks planning the perfect way to propose to you, visiting at least six different jewelry stores for the perfect ring and seeking your entire family's permission two weeks prior. And the night he proposed to you, he surprised you with a homemade attempt of your favorite dessert and your favorite film before presenting the ring to you.
And of course, you said yes, much to Bill's immense delight. Finally, he would be starting a life with the you, the person whom he loved the most. He would be marrying someone who loved him for who he was and made him feel like he was capable of anything.
When it came to the wedding, Bill would be critical of every single thing about himself, bugging his parents and his best man with questions
"Is this enough cologne? My tie, is it too short? Please, I don't want her to be disappointed."
"Bill, she loves you," his mother assures him. "She's marrying you. She wants to spend the rest of her life with you. Now stop fretting. You'll sweat through your suit."
After about a thousand assurances and countless intrusive thoughts, Bill would be nearly bouncing on the balls of his feet while waiting at the altar.
But as soon as he saw you, coming down the aisle, all of those thoughts would disappear. All Bill would be able to think of is how gorgeous you are, and how he's going to marry you in front of the whole world.
Your first dance song would almost 100% be "Wedding Bell Blues" by The Fifth Dimension. It was his mother's choice, and once you heard the lyrics, you couldn't help but approve (seriously, if you haven't heard this song before, look up the lyrics because it's about marrying a guy named Bill)
Also, someone would probably need to make sure that Jewel Diamond doesn't show up and seize the microphone to sing "Part Time Lover" or "Like a Virgin" at the reception. But if that's taken care of, you and Bill will probably have a great time celebrating with your family and friends.
Wedding superlative: Most likely to cry when he sees his bride walk down the aisle
Caius Marcius Coriolanus from Coriolanus
Tumblr media
On his wedding day to you, Caius Marcius Coriolanus would put on his armor and his military regalia as if he were going to lead a campaign. His mother insisted that it would make him look distinguished, and send a message that his bride - and their family - ought to treat him with respect.
Many of his army men and his comrades would be in attendance, some of them even bearing gifts. They all knew of Coriolanus's feelings for you, teasing the general of how reluctant he was to approach you when he saw you for the first time and Cupid struck
But instead of rudely telling them all to shut up as usual, Coriolanus would bear it with gritted silence because deep down, it was all true. Coriolanus deeply loved you, and would never wish to live without you or hurt you in any way.
Too proud to be caught smiling in public, Coriolanus would simply let his eyes speak his adoration for you when you entered the temple of Mars, dressed in fine robes and jewelry with a veil over your head.
His eyes darkened with lust when you came closer to him. And in that moment, all he wanted was for the priest to hurry up and stop talking so he could kiss you, claiming you before everyone as his wife
After the ceremony came to an end, Coriolanus would keep one hand on the small of your back, determined to keep you close to him while he musters small talk with the guests…and insults some of them.
At some point, perhaps at sundown, he would cut his conversations short and bid his in-laws good night. Tightening his grip around you, Coriolanus would bring you to his home as fast as possible so he could finally drop his guard and…privately celebrate your union
Wedding superlative: Most likely to get into a fight at his own wedding
Jonathan Pine from The Night Manager
Tumblr media
On his wedding day, Jonathan Pine would be extra vigilant, keeping an eagle eye for anything that might go wrong.
While you were getting ready, he would be pacing along the oceanside and through the rows of seats for a possible threat, or someone who could be smuggling a weapon. Even after Angela Burr assured him that no one knew about his wedding except for the few people in attendance, he would still insist that someone keep a tab on you and give him constant updates while you were getting ready.
Jonathan had already loved and lost someone, and he would never forgive himself if someone took his bride away from him.
Until he saw you, he would not be able to let himself rest for a moment, rubbing the nape of his neck while pacing, adjusting his cufflinks (which happened to be the ones you gifted him for Christmas), and thinking of every single way that someone could sabotage this special day
And the moment you came down the aisle in your beautiful wedding gown, Jonathan would breathe a sigh of relief and beam with pride. At that instant, the only thought in his mind when he looks at you would be how amazing and how happy you look while you approached him. And how every moment leading up to this one was definitely worth it. Nothing would be able to hold a candle to the first time he got to see you as the one he, Jonathan Pine, was going to marry.
Holding your hand, Jonathan would quietly say his vows, knowing that he had already made every single vow to himself when he proposed to you. That in his mind, he had already promised to love you through thick and thin, in good times and bad times, even when the two of you would be miles apart. You would be the one he fights for and stays alive for, every single time.
Possible first dance song: "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls or "The Way You Look Tonight" by Frank Sinatra (Or "Shakespeare" by Miranda Cosgrove)
Wedding superlative: Most likely to have a destination honeymoon
Robert Laing from High-Rise
Tumblr media
On his wedding day with you, Dr. Robert Laing would be thinking of nothing but you, simply put.
("Ruhi, come now…" "You know what, Robert? Somebody had to say it.")
When Robert originally moved into the high rise, he was disillusioned with the thought of being involved with other people. He wanted to be alone, nothing more. But now, three years after that day? He couldn't picture a day without seeing you, without indulging in your witty banter, without giving you a kiss before going off to the medical school, or without you simply calling his name. It had to be magic of some kind, an enchantment Robert couldn't quite explain with all of his scientific knowledge.
And that's how Robert Laing, a doctor of physiology who lived on the twenty-fifth floor of the high rise, let himself fall in love you and share his life with you.
Sure, Wilder and a few other guys in the high-rise would be pouring drinks and making crude jokes about Robert finally getting a 'ball and a chain' but Robert knew better. You wouldn't be a ball and a chain to him, but rather an angel.
With you by his side, Robert could begin a new life at the high rise, one where he wouldn't have to be alone. A life of comfort where he could come home to someone who would care for him, and a life where he would have someone to cherish and protect. It would be a new life with a new purpose, all thanks to you
So when he saw you in your wedding dress for the first time, he couldn't help but stare. You looked like an absolute dream, so radiant and so gorgeous.
He'd continue to steal glances throughout the ceremony, even while reciting his vows. And when the officiant finally says "you may now kiss your bride", Robert would put one hand around your waist and use his other hand to cradle the back of your head, passionately capturing your lips with his
Possible first dance song: "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You" by Frankie Valli
Wedding superlative: Most likely to burn the dance floor at his own wedding (and get quite tipsy in the process)
Second wedding superlative: Most likely to eat more cake than the bride
Magnus Martinsson from Wallander
Tumblr media
On his wedding day to you, Magnus Martinsson would be one of those grooms who makes snarky jokes about his life being "over" but is secretly freaking out on the inside
It wasn't helpful that his colleagues at the station kept making jokes about him being 'tied down' and how you were way out of his league.
Magnus would find himself in a downward spiral of thoughts about the kind of husband he'd be, and whether you really were making the right choice in marrying him when you could have better.
His comments might get so bad that even Kurt Wallander would have to intervene and tell him to stop unless he wanted to hurt his bride
Wallander would take Magnus aside and assure him that there are many great things about marriage, and that he is lucky to be spending his life with someone like you. That most men, especially those who joke about marriage being the 'end of their life', would desperately want to find someone who loves them as much as you love Magnus
With those words, Magnus would calm down, fix his curls, and go to the altar to wait for you. And as soon as he saw you walk down the aisle, he would realize how right Kurt was. That he, Magnus Martinsson, was the luckiest man in the world because he was going to marry you. That all of those jokes were false, and the only thing that mattered was how much you loved each other
Magnus might not choose to write his own vows, sticking with the traditional "in sickness and in health, till death do us part", but he would be sure to tell you how much he loved you throughout the wedding
Possible first dance song: "My Girl," by The Temptations
Wedding superlative: Most likely to show up to his own wedding completely hungover
Oakley from Unrelated
Tumblr media
On his wedding day to you, Oakley would be the most chill groom ever. Seriously, anything could happen and he'd be the one reminding everyone to calm down. The rings are missing? Don't worry, they'll turn up anyway.
His chill attitude also means that he would be perfectly fine in getting married while wearing a t-shirt and cargo pants. Somebody might need to drag this cocky handsome bastard into a suit, reminding him it's his goddamn wedding day, not some picnic
Oakley really isn't a fan of formal wear, especially anything that requires a tie
He would probably be joking around with his friends, having a smoke during the hour before the ceremony.
He wouldn't even be freaking out about the fact that he'll soon be a married man because…this is exactly what he wanted the minute he fell in love with you. He knew that he needed you in his life, that you were the one he wanted to love for the rest of his days, and that the best thing to do was to tell you exactly that… before asking you to marry him
And the moment he saw you standing in your wedding dress for the first time, all of those memories left his mind and the only thing that Oakley could think about…was how he would never forget this moment. And that if the world were to end tomorrow, he would be the luckiest guy on the planet just because he would get to call you - this gorgeous, funny, and kind person standing before him - his wife.
Also, Oakley would totally be the type to make his wedding kiss with you totally epic, either picking you up and spinning you around, or turn it into a dip and kiss (which looks something like this)
Tumblr media
Possible first dance song: "Teenage Dream" by Boyce Avenue or "Lucky," by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat
Wedding superlative: Most likely to get drunk during his own wedding and say something extremely inappropriate
Thomas Sharpe from Crimson Peak
Tumblr media
On his wedding day to you, Thomas Sharpe would have every detail in its perfect place. From the flowers to the organ playing the wedding march to the seating arrangement, every single thing would be immaculately arranged to your liking.
He would play the part of a doting groom very effectively, almost ignoring Lucille most of the time in favor of talking to your family members. He'd play with the little ones, laugh at your father's attempts at humor, and assure your mother that her child will lack nothing in their marriage
The moment you entered the chapel, a warm smile would spread across Thomas's face and his face would light up as if the in the world darkness was finally gone for good.
As if you were made of glass, he would carefully take your hand in his and lead you to the altar, kneeling before the priest.
Then, Thomas would make his vows to be with you in sickness and in health, till death do you part, and kiss you slowly, savoring this moment of purity.
After the ceremony, Thomas would lead you in a waltz - your first dance as husband and wife - with a pace so swift yet so delicate that it would not extinguish a candle
At a specific moment, when the guests are dining, Thomas would lightly tap on his glass with a fork to get everyone's attention.
"On behalf of the Sharpe household, I would like to thank you all for attending this lovely occasion. I could not be more happier than to be marrying the lady seated right here," Thomas would gesture to you with a proud smile. "She is truly a blessing, and until death parts us, I promise to hold her close and to treasure her always. May our days together be filled with happiness and joy."
Wedding superlative: Most likely to have an eloquent wedding toast that makes everyone go "Awww"
James Conrad from Kong: Skull Island
Tumblr media
On his wedding day to you, Captain James Conrad would be silent to almost everyone before the ceremony, pretending to be completely calm about his impending nuptials. But his dark circles and his red eyes wouldn't fool anyone; it would be pretty clear that he hadn't sleeping so well lately
Actually, after he'd finally left Skull Island and settled in the United Kingdom, James had been dealing with nightmares about Kong and other terrifying creatures he'd encountered. Eventually, Preston Packard and Mason Weaver coaxed him to start seeing a professional about his nightmares and traumatic flashbacks.
That's how James Conrad gained the courage and the hope to start a relationship with you, the beautiful neighbor who lived a few doors from his flat. And now, nearly two years after your first date, he proposed, you and James moved in together, and you were getting married.
James could not have been happier about your union, but the past week leading up to the wedding had been tough.
The two of you thought it might be good to have a little separation before the ceremony, and James thought it would make the wedding sweeter, so you agreed to sleep over at a friend's place.
James found himself deeply missing your touch (and your cuddles - shh, don't tell anyone I told you) and many of the nightmares from his past returned. So after talking to you on the telephone every night, he would hold one of your sweaters like a security blanket while trying to lull himself sleep
When he finally saw you coming to the altar in your wedding gown, it felt like he'd been underwater for hours and was finally coming up for fresh air. From now on, he would never have to sleep alone, or face anything all by himself. Whatever happens, if he ever has to return to Skull Island in his dreams or in real life, he would have you by his side.
He'd be grinning the whole time from ear to ear, just enjoying the moment with you, and would always have his arm around you. Whenever James wasn't trying to stifle a yawn, he would be holding you close and stealing kisses, much to the amusement of everyone else around him.
Possible First Dance song: "Can't Help Falling in Love with You" by Elvis Presley
Wedding superlative: Most likely to never let anyone else dance with his bride because he gets jealous
Jaguar Villain!Tom Hiddleston
Tumblr media
On his wedding day to you, Thomas would be dressed to the nines and poised like a prince, wearing a sharp three-piece suit (with a pistol concealed in his jacket) and Dolce and Gabbana citrus cologne
To him, this wedding was not unlike any other important engagement. A place where deals could be made and broken, offers could be extended and retracted, and alliances could be tested
Therefore, only the best of decorations could be present. The cake and the champagne had to be of the utmost quality (no cheap, off-brand liquor allowed), and the floral arrangements needed to be elegant enough for royalty
It would also be an opportunity for Thomas to reward his those closest to him in his inner circle; by inviting them, wining and dining them with a gourmet meal, he could reward their loyalty while also keeping them near should they try anything suspicious.
But none of that would apply to you. No, Thomas may be emotionless and calculating in matters of business, even at his own wedding, but you were not to take part in any of it. In fact, your innocence was one of the reasons why Thomas was so attracted to you. You gave him something worth living for, something that was worth defending and protecting. He could not afford to corrupt you with his dirty world of schemes and plots
During the wedding, Thomas would be your Prince Charming (like always), making sure that you were comfortable.
He would hold your hand and tell you how beautiful you looked whenever you got nervous. If you were hungry, he'd make sure that a plate of food was brought to you. And if someone dared to make you uncomfortable on your special day? They had better prepared to have the living daylights pounded out of them.
Also, Thomas would never admit this to you until possibly years after your wedding to him, but he secretly bribed the person who showed you your wedding dresses to only show you designs that he approved of. He knew that you would look stunning in anything you wore, but he always liked to be the one in charge
Possible first dance song: "Fly Me to The Moon," by Frank Sinatra or "Stand By Me" by Ben E. King
Wedding superlative: Most likely to carry out a murder at their wedding

Daddy Frost Giant-Loki
Tumblr media
(This is a Dd/Lg story that I wrote Years ago! I figured I would post it since someone asked for Loki)
Tumblr media
To say I was tired would be an understatement, I was exhausted in every way physically possible, I never imagined being an Avenger would be so draining. Ever since Ultron we don't have as many high priority cases but the ones we have are insane. I had just had the pleasure of meeting Spider-Man for the first time when I helped him stop someone from stealing one of Tony's planes, I was the only one who ever answered the phone to him so I was the only one to help him, much to my boyfriends annoyance.
"Are you okay? You were gone for a very long time Princess." Loki swept me up into his arms and held me almost painfully tight, though I've gotten used to it.
"I'm fine, I promise. Just a few bumps and bruises...and a possible concussion in a plane crash." I cringed back, waiting for him to explode and he looked ready to but stopped, taking a deep breath as we had practiced. Loki isn't allowed on any jobs yet as none of the Avengers trust him and we had mutually decided not to try and force them, they'll get there eventually but until then...house arrest.
"Come let me look you over." He set me on the kitchen counter and did a once over of me with his magic, crinkling his nose up. "You have a concussion and 2 bruised ribs, you really need to be more careful Princess, I don't know what I would do without you." Loki loved me, more than he really did anyone but his mother (and secretly Thor) so he was overly protective sometimes.
"Don't you think you're worrying a little too much?" I giggled and he shook his head, sighing.
"Of course not, I love you, I never want my little princess to be in pain." He tucked my hair behind my ears and kissed me gently.
"I know Daddy, I love you too." I could have sworn I heard someone gasp but ignored it when I saw no one and kissed him again.
"Come darling, lets get you in bed, you need your rest." I nodded, allowing him to do as he pleased, knowing I would not win an argument when I was injured. He lifted me from the counter and carried me upstairs quickly, changing me into my footie pajamas and getting me comfortable in bed after a hot shower.
"Snuggle me Daddy!" I insisted and he grinned, we usually stayed in his room, him loving it really cold which is why I have so many blankets in there, but in my room he usually just slept in his underwear, which I can't say I didn't enjoy.
"Always Princess, you know that. Sleep little one, only then will your body heal itself, I shall use as much of my magic as I can to help." He kissed my head before I burried my face into his chest making him chuckle. "Goodnight Princess, Daddy loves you."
"I love you too-" yawn. "-Daddy." I drifted off contently that night in his arms feeling safer than I've ever been.
~~~~
I sat with Daddy on the couch watching the TV the next day and I couldn't shake the feeling that people were staring at me, namely Tony. "What's wrong Tony?" I asked, never looking away from the movie, though Daddy did, glaring at him.
"What? Nothing, nothing at all...princess." I cringed at the nickname but didn't really pay him any mind until I heard whispering.
"Tony, if you don't stop looking at Y/n I'm going to start thinking you have a crush on her." Steve joked, he never could whisper well, but Tony could, meaning I didn't hear what he said, but it must have been something to make the Captain spit his coffee across the table. "WHAT?!" Tony just nodded but Loki glared harder, noticing I had jumped, not enjoying loud noises all that much. Steve waved awkwardly as Bruce sat down with them with the paper and not a moment later tore it down the middle.
"Okay, what is going on with you guys?!" I exclaimed but they all shook their heads and shrugged.
"Nothing Y/n...anything new with you?" Steve asked and Bruce smacked his arm.
"Leave her alone." He demanded, standing up and leaving the room, confusing me yet again.
"Come along y/n, its clear the idiots are having some kind of meeting." Loki teased, pulling me out and onto the patio where we watched over the edge at the cars for a little while, just talking. "Be careful at the edge Princess, don't fall." His arm was around my waist and I knew me being up this high made him nervous. When he had attacked New York he pushed me off of the building himself and since we had gotten together it had been a problem for him.
"I'm fine Daddy, I promise." He noticed me shiver a few minutes later and knew his body heat (or lack there of) wasn't helping me.
"Let's get you warmed up, I'll make you your favorite hot chocolate." I grinned, beginning to bounce my way inside only to see everyone now crowded around the table. Tony and Steve were still there, Bruce had come back, Hawkeye and Natasha were there as well as Vision, Wanda, and Pietro, Thor was just walking in the front door. They all stared at us and I stepped sideways away from them and towards the kitchen, the glared that is permanent on Loki's face to everyone but me was staring holes into all of them. We were halfway through making the hot chocolate when the kitchen door opened and Loki was lifted into the air.
"Thor No!" Tony shouted but my Daddy was already being crushed.
"Congratulations brother! I am saddened that I am the last to hear of your courtship with Lady Y/n however I am very happy for you!" I was lifted next and felt my back crack as he hugged me.
"Too tight big guy!" I shouted and he eased up, daddy pulling me back into his arms.
"Be careful with her brother, she is sensitive!" I heard Tony snort and everyone looks over at him.
"I've watched the girl get shot, point blank, and not flinch, she is anything but sensitive." The others chuckled as well and I was trying to hide my tears as I tried snapping myself out of my little space that I was so comfortably in.
"Have care how you speak metal man, make her shed another tear and those words will be your last." He growled, pulling me close and kissing my head.
"Can anyone else explain this weirdness?!" Steve shouted and Wanda raised her hand.
"I believe Y/n is a little. Littlespace is a mindset in which an adult regresses into a carefree, responsibility free state of mind. An adult in littlespace often involves a caregiver, someone to engage in activities some may view as childish, some even participate in sexual interactions while in littlespace. I'm going to guess the caregiver in this situation is Loki as you heard her call him Daddy, a very common name for a Dom in this kind of relationship." Everyone was staring at her like she had grown a second head but she shifted behind Vision slightly and I smiled at the action.
"So you like it when she acts like a kid?" Tony asked and Loki scoffed.
"I enjoy caring for her in the most basic of ways, any way she needs."
"So you two are in an actual relationship? This isn't just a kink thing is it?" Natasha asked and I shook my head.
"What is a kink thing?" Loki whispered, Asgard had a lot of different terms for things than we do.
"I'll tell you later, it's not bad. Yes, we are in a relationship, will someone please hand me my coco now?" Daddy smiled and mixed it for me, dropping in 8 tiny marshmallows just how I like it and I swung my legs happily.
"Careful Princess, it's hot." I nodded and once again everyone was looking at us like we were aliens...well me I suppose since my boyfriend technically is.
"And you're okay with this?" Hawkeye asked Thor who was grinning widely.
"Clearly it is more common on Asgard, I am happy to see my brother with someone to take care of. Congratulations, we shall now, as Jane says, double date." I giggled as daddy groaned.
"Very well brother, can we please retire now, I believe my Princess is tired." It wasn't really a question, more of an announcement as he lifted me, careful of my hot chocolate and his iced coffee (he hates hot drinks), and began walking to the stairs.
"Wait, I have more questions...a lot more." Tony shouted and I chuckled.
"Google it Tony, goodnight."
"Your friends are exhausting." He told me, helping me into my pajamas and wrapping me in blankets as we were in his room for the night.
"They're your friends too now Daddy, you know Pietro and Vision are growing on you, you even like Bruce. Others may take longer...Clint for example and for obvious reasons, but don't deny it." He rolled his eyes and admitted defeat as he crawled in next to me, holding me as I sipped my drink, eventually taking it away when I drifted off on his chest, the happiest possible place for me to be.
You had only been working at the castle for a little over two months. It was your first job all alone without your mother by your side. It was meant to be the two of you before she opted to remain serving King Rogers in the Kingdom adjacent to Asgard. You were devastated, you sobbed for many nights even before you made the move.
Not that the crying ever stopped, only now it was for different reasons. Prince Loki had an unnerving air to him.
The other servants dismissed your concerns, saying that he is just rude and entitled. He’s like that with all of us, they would say.
Only, he wasn’t. He seemed to have a certain interest in you, the youngest of all the servants. He was crueler to you. He would look at you for too long, order you to do obscure tasks but was never content with the work you did. You also couldn’t forget the time he “accidentally” flipped your skirt as you were bent down, organizing the books in his room for the umpteeth time. They can never stay in place, he says, you ought to do a better job.
It didn’t help that he always called for you in the evenings as he was being readied for bed. Sometimes he was completely nude when you’d walk in, unabashedly waltzing around bare. His manhood was always slightly erect and hanging between his legs with his smirk illuminated by the candlelight.
He wasn’t like that with the rest of the women.
Most times, it was like he hadn’t seen them at all.
Natasha would walk into the library where he sat reading and he would pay her no mind, not even when she spoke to him. But as soon as you entered the room you could feel his burning eyes on you as you dusted the shelves. Predatory eyes following you wherever you went.
But he was never satisfied with your work and he made sure you knew it. Sometimes you thought he was doing it on purpose to keep you from straying too far.
+
As you set the table for dinner, you jumped in surprise as the door creaked open. Your heartbeat sped up as Prince Loki stepped inside.
“Prince Loki,” you bowed, “dinner is not yet served.”
“Yes, I am aware. Always quite laggard, you,” he gave you a look up and down.
You cleared your throat, “my apologies, Prince Loki.”
You picked up your speed, wiping down the table at a faster pace before assembling two places with appropriate silverware for the two Princes. You did what you could to keep yourself from bending over, even with the coverage of your almost knee length skirt, you still did not want to be subject to his predatory staring.
You could feel Loki watching you still. The room was filled with the sound of his foot tapping the ground lightly in impatience. “Serve dinner at once.”
You scurried to the kitchen and assembled two servings as quickly as you could.
The flu had been running rampant in Asgard. Much of the staff had been exposed and were currently bedridden. Only you and three others were healthy. The four of you had divided the jobs evenly and you were stuck with the kitchen and the surrounding areas. Your duties entailed cooking and you were nervous. You lacked proper training and you settled for a basic dish.
You carried both of the plates in your hand as you reentered the dining room. Loki was sitting in his seat, bored look on his face. His back straightened as you came into view. You walked over to Prince Thor’s side of the table, setting down his own plate. You stretched over the table to reach Prince Loki.
He clicked his tongue, “is that the way to treat your Prince, darling. Don’t forget your manners.”
You bowed your head, “My apologies, Prince Loki.” You hesitantly walked over to him, feeling the coldness of his body against your arm as you set the plate before him. He inhaled deeply and you weren’t sure if he was inhaling the aroma of your cooking or the smell of your skin.
He said nothing as he lifted a golden spoon and took a small bit of the food. You watched him with a worried expression, hoping just that what you had done was satisfactory.
He made a face of disgust, “well, you just can’t do anything right, can you?”
You weren’t sure how to respond so you stayed silent for a few moments. “I am sorry, Prince Loki. The recipe called for the amount of salt. I simply followed directions.”
“And you did not find it appropriate to taste it before serving it to us?” His long, ring-clad fingers tapped the table.
“I did not have a taste, Prince Loki, no.”
“Why don’t you give it a try then, hm?” His eyes are hard as he reaches for your chin. His touch was gentle yet it made you feel as if you couldn’t move a muscle. He moved the golden spoon to your mouth, nodding his head ever so slightly until you parted your lips. He pushed it inside, the flavor was ambrosial, though you had to admit, he was right. A tad salty. It was almost unnoticeable. In fact, you’re sure you wouldn’t have noticed the inappreciable saline flavor if it wasn’t for the expecting emerald stare.
You were prepared to apologize, beg for forgiveness, anything to save you from the expected punishment from the head maid when she caught wind of this. But you were stunned as he continued to push the spoon further into your mouth, eyes twilinking with something unsettling. You looked up at him with confusion and slight fear. The gold prodded the back of your throat. You started to gag only to abruptly stop at the sound of a disapproving click of his tongue. The rush flavors from the slightly over seasoned food slipped down your throat and you fought to contain your gagging. You couldn’t contain it and an indecent retch erupted from you.
He held the spoon still, curved bottom pushing down on the back of your tongue. His expression remained unphased but you swore his eyes held amusement. He pulled the spoon out, setting it down beside his plate as Thor made his entrance. He sat as you bowed to the approaching blonde prince, blinking back the tears that had pricked your eyes only seconds before.
Thor smiled at you, polite as always before taking his own seat. He clapped his hands loudly, “shall we eat, brother?”
Loki said nothing, he simply picked up his spoon and scooped up a bite. Across the table, his brother did the same.
Thor closed his eyes as he chewed on the food. He called your name with a serious tone, your blood ran cold. “This is utterly fantastic, my dear.”
“Yes,” Loki agreed much to your confusion, “spectacular, darling.”
You were in shock. Had he not just criticized the dish moments earlier?
You let go of the breath you held, “thank you, Prince Thor,” you paused and with hesitance said, “thank you, Prince Loki.”
You fled the room as quickly as you could, doing what you could to avoid looking eager. These types of occurrences were not rare with the Prince. He was always mean and critical towards you directly but would praise you when you were within earshot of his family. What was rare was what he had done with the golden spoon. It was daring and utterly inappropriate. The only other time he had laid a hand on you in a scandalous way was when he had flipped your skirt.
It unnerved you and the scene would not leave your brain for the remainder of the day.
+
Just as you were going to retire to bed, Maria peaked her head through your door, “you’ve been summoned by Prince Loki.”
You sighed as soon as she left. You fixed yourself up and made your way to his room. Your mind was racing and you were scared to face him again in fear that he would do something inappropriate again.
You fiddled with the hem of your uniform skirt as you stood by Prince Loki’s door. You knocked as confidently as you could, waiting for him to open the door and let you in. You took a few breaths to calm yourself. But all that was thrown out as soon as the door creaked open.
You stepped inside, taking in the scent of his room as you made your way to the bookshelf after a brief bow. His hair was wet and his skin had a pink flush, he had likely just gotten out of the bath. He wore only a bathrobe, it was made of green silk to match his usual attire.
You heard a chuckle behind you but you ignored it, instead you knelt before the books and began to hastily organize them.
“Don’t rush, darling,” his voice was closer and you could practically feel his stare burning your backside.
“Yes, sir.”
He groaned. The hair on the back of your neck stood. “I like it when you’re polite. Sir.”
You didn’t say anything and he clicked his tongue.
Seconds later you felt the warmth of his body behind you. In fear you kept your eyes on the books. Maybe if you ignored it, he would go away.
A hand came to rest on your hip and you jumped at the sensation. His hips rocked forward, pressing his pelvis to your ass. The hard outline of his cock pushed into your flesh causing you to gasp. You tried to pull away but he caught you, tightening his grip on your side.
Another groan fell from his lips, “so warm. I wonder how your tight, little cunt is gonna feel. You’re a virgin, aren’t you?”
All the air left your lungs and you felt your lip wobble. You were. You never had time for men or boys, you were too busy helping your mother around. You didn’t respond and he began to grind his hips into yours, the hands holding you in place began to inch closer and closer to your pussy.
“I asked you a question, darling.”
You tried to fight back your tears by focusing on the books in front of you rather than the man behind you. “Prince Loki, please let me go.”
“No,” he said simply. “You’re my servant. You are to do what I say.”
You lunged forward at the feeling of his cold fingers reaching under your dress. He pinched at the flesh of your thigh, causing a tingling sensation to erupt in your cunt.
“Mm,” he groaned, hip thrusts speeding up. “Untouched little virgin.”
A tear fell from your eyes along with a shaky inhale.
“Brother! I must speak to you at once!”
The familiar booming voice had never sounded so heavenly. You ripped yourself from Prince Loki’s grasp just as the door flew open and the strong, blonde Prince walked in.
“Ah,” he said upon seeing you. His eyes flicked from you to his brother. Once, twice. “Hm.”
You reached up to wipe your tears and fix your skirt, “excuse me, Prince Thor. I was summoned by Prince Loki to assist in organizing his bookshelf.”
“At this hour?” He gave his brother a look of judgement. “Well, you’re free to return to the chambers. You may assist him tomorrow.” He offered you a gentle smile and you returned it surprisingly genuinely.
Prince Thor is kind. He’s lively and funny and he treats all the staff with the appropriate respect. He’s just decent if you really thought about it. But even that was far better than most of the other royalty.
You scurried back to your room and locked the door behind you. You sank to the floor and let the tears you had held fall.
+
The following days, Prince Thor began to request you more and more. Considering that he was the heir of the throne, his wishes were top priority. Even above Prince Loki’s. You were relieved and you tried your best to make it known without being too out front.
You smiled more, talked more and overall returned to your true self. It was someone you haven't seen since you were a child. It was scary but it was a pleasant change that you welcomed with open arms.
Prince Loki had done the opposite. He summoned you so many times a day the head maid had stopped telling you. So, even if you weren’t hearing it, you knew it was happening. But you couldn’t be bothered because you had not faced him since. You were busy from morning to night assisting Prince Thor.
After breakfast, Prince Thor had ordered you to dust the library. So you practically skipped over to the large room and began your task.
Aside from the usual discomfort from Prince Loki that came with the room, it was one of your favorites. You loved to read and being able to look through and care for the collection of books was your favorite part of the castle.
It was different from Prince Loki’s room because it was in an open space and not in a secluded bedroom.
As you dusted and organized the books, you stood on a moving ladder that allowed you to reach the higher shelves. You were so entranced by the pages of a novel Prince Thor had recommended earlier in the week that you did not hear the door open. Nor the footsteps that led to where you were standing.
“Oh, yes,” his daunting voice said, “this is what I like to see.”
You yelped and the book fell from your hands, landing on the ground beneath you. You caught yourself before you could fall.
Prince Loki stood under you, peering up under your skirt. You clenched your thighs shut tight, your heartrate picking up immediately.
“No, no,” he said, taking his cold hands and prying your thighs open to their previous position. “Keep them open for me. I want to see your pretty pussy.”
You ignored him, shutting them again. “I’m sorry, Prince Loki. Prince Thor ordered me to make the library spotless, I must return to work.”
“You will return to work when I allow it.”
You swallowed as his hand crept up your leg. “Open them wide for me. I would like to taste your pure, virgin essence. You’re probably as sweet as sugar, darling.”
“No, Prince Lo-“
“Do as I say!” He bellowed. You flinched as he forced his head in between your thighs.
He had never been so verbally direct so you tried to loosen up and do as told until an escape presented itself.
You shakily opened your legs and he dove in. His tongue lapped your cunt through your panties, dampening the fabric. Involuntarily, you jolted up and away from this mouth.
His hands moved to pull on your hips and bring them closer to his awaiting lips. His tongue flicked at a rapid pace, lapping at your covered clit. You gasped, feeling your balance wavering.
He removed his head, “take those off. I can’t taste you.”
You didn’t move. He sighed in annoyance and all but pried your hands from the ladder. You wiggled in his hold as he dragged you away. You reached for whatever you could. You caught hold of the railing and you planted your feet to the ground as sobs fell from you.
Prince Loki huffed, “fine. Make this difficult.”
He flipped your skirt like he had before and he yanked your panties down your legs in one movement. The cold air of the room made you shiver as it came in contact with your pussy.
Prince Loki smacked your ass, groaning as the skin rippled. “I’ve been dying to catch a glimpse of this pretty pussy, darling.” You were in shock.
You tried to pull away again, but he delivered another slap. Only this time it was harder. You flinched in pain.
“Please,” you could still feel the burn of the area.
“Of course, darling. No need to beg me.”
You almost let go of the railing, relieved that he was going to let you go. Instead, his lips reconnected with your cunt, lapping rapidly at your mound once more.
That hadn’t been what you meant. Despair filled your body as his tongue circled your clit and licked up the slick that had begun to leak from you.
You whined loudly. The sensation was so new to you, it felt foreign. You hated the way your body wanted to lean into it. Your legs were shaking and your hold on the railing was so tight it had begun to hurt.
“It’s so obvious you’ve never been touched,” his voice was slightly muffled, “you’re so sensitive.”
He suckled at your mound as his hands kneaded the flesh of your ass above his head. You had stopped crying and your mind was racing. Were you… enjoying this?
One of his long fingers prodded at your hole, circling it. You were distracted by his tongue on your bud that you didn’t notice as he pushed the finger in slowly. A sudden pain rushed through your body and your eyes widened.
“No, please, Prince Loki, don’t.”
He ignored you and continued pushing his finger in until the entire length was inside. He held it there for a few seconds as his tongue continued its assault on your cunt.
Slowly, this finger slid in and out. Squelching noises filled the room. You felt your face heat from embarrassment of the lewd sound.
“So wet,” he said, suckling harshly at your nub.
You felt something building in your belly and your breathing became uneven.
“Let me go. Let me go,” your voice was weak and strained.
“Cum for me, darling. Let it go.”
Again. It was like he was speaking to you without actually speaking to you. Like he was altering your words to fit his wants. You just wanted him to let you leave. You didn’t want him.
Still, he’s tongue licked up your cunt, focusing on your clit as he moved his fingers in and out of your hole. Soon, you felt a release in your belly as your body shook, your eyes closed and the pleasure turned to pain.
“Stop! Stop, please!” You cried, kicking one of your legs back.
He didn’t budge but he did stop. He pulled back and his eyes had darkened in the way you had learned to loathe. “You’re even sweeter than I imagined. You taste as pure as sugar.”
You grimaced, shakily standing and tugging your skirt down. He had rid you of your panties and you didn’t bother to look. You wanted to leave and pretend this had never happened.
The way he spoke disgusted you. You tried not to think about his comments as you stumbled to the door.
“Don’t pretend you didn’t like it, darling. I felt how wet you were.”
+
You had returned to normal. You were back to being a shell of a person.
You woke up sweaty and breathing heavily more times than you would like to admit. As much as the rest of the royal staff — and even Prince Thor — tried, you couldn’t shake what had happened. But you still never told a soul.
I’m just not feeling well, you’d say.
Luckily, Prince Thor still kept you close. You wondered if he knew of the antics of his brother. You liked to believe he was protecting you, that he deemed you worthy of saving.
You still took your own precautions, though. You would make up any excuse not to serve at mealtimes or anywhere Prince Loki knew you frequented. Like the library, the gardens, or the kitchens. You’d rush to your room as quickly as you possibly could at the end of every night, praying you wouldn’t run into the Prince.
It worked for a few days. Until it didn’t.
You shut the door hastily and locked it, sighing in relief at the feeling of security. You turned slowly, feeling your heart plummet to the ground at the sight of the man sitting on your mattress.
“This is not very comfortable,” he said nonchalantly, like he hadn’t broken into your room. It was your only place of solace and you knew it would never feel that way again.
You didn’t say anything, you just looked at him in fear.
“I’ll arrange for you to have a new one put in as soon as possible,” he gave you an unnerving smile.
You didn’t know what to think.
“I have not been able to stop thinking about you, darling,” he stood from the bed. “The taste of you is otherworldly. Nothing compares.”
You took a step back as he took one towards you. “Prince Loki, you should not be here.”
“On the contrary, darling. I have to be here. I am drawn to you, to your sweet little hole. I must feel it. I must be the one to rid you of your innocence. I have waited,” he twirled a piece of your hair around his finger, “far too long.”
You felt your lips wobble, “please, no.”
“But I must, darling,” he made a faux face of worry, “it is your duty to serve me, is it not?”
A tear slipped. You wish you could say no, but he was right. Your mother had taught you to obey all orders no matter what. But this was too much. You didn’t react.
Prince Loki grabbed your chin, his cold, calloused fingers burned your skin. “I want to claim your innocence as my own.”
Tears were falling quickly now and you couldn’t stand it. You didn’t care about what your mother or the other servants had said. This is not what you wanted. He would not claim your virtue.
You shoved him away, bolting towards the door. You fiddled with the locks, holding out hope that you would get out. But your room was small. He had caught up to you before you could unlock it.
The Prince gripped your hair and yanked it back, using his free hand to hold your throat. “You will do as told.”
He shoved you back, causing you to fall onto your bed. The familiar scent of your sheets was tainted with his aroma. How long had he been there?
You wasted no time pulling your clothes off. His eyes were hungry as they raked over your body. You tried to fight him off, pry his hands off but he wouldn’t budge. You watched as he slipped your panties into his pocket. Did he have your other pair?
He leaned down to kiss your pussy, open mouthed and greedy. He moaned at the taste before standing and ridding himself of his bottoms. You tried to run again but he stopped you, giving you a look filled with venom.
You flinched back and he forced your legs open with his own. You feared looking down but you couldn't help yourself.
His cock was red and angry, it was curved and you couldn’t imagine it fitting inside you.
“Prince, no, please, please, no!” You writhed under him, pushing on the hands that held down your wrists.
He propped himself up, hold tight on your wrists as he spit onto your cunt. You weren’t wet this time, you knew that.
That didn’t stop him, he persisted. He gathered the spit with the tip of his dick, circling his hard shaft against your mount.
“Are you afraid?” He asked, eyes trained on your face as you looked down. “I know you are.”
You began to kick your legs. He rolled his eyes and forced your legs open wider with his own, limiting your movements.
His cock brushed your hole and you gasped at the feeling. He began to push himself in and you held your breath, your tears were hot and trailing down your face and neck.
It felt like his finger had, only worse. His cock was bigger and thicker. He leaned down to lap at your tears.
“My little virgin,” he whispered. “You’re all mine, darling.”
You were sobbing uncontrollably as he bottomed out. You still weren’t wet and it felt like sandpaper as he pulled out. It didn’t seem that way for him because his eyes rolled to the back of his head in pleasure. He spit a few more times before pushing back in.
You screamed in pain, hoping someone, anyone would come to help you. You knew they could hear you and that only added to your despair. “Please,” you repeated like a mantra. Plearse stop.
“So lovely when you beg, darling,” he said, burying his face into your neck. He licked at the tears that had fallen there and moaned at the taste before thrusting at a steady pace. You couldn’t stop crying.
“Relax, darling. I can feel you getting wetter by the second, just let yourself enjoy it.”
That couldn’t be true. There was no way you were ever going to enjoy an interaction like this. But soon you hear the squelching noises you had heard before and your body let out an involuntary moan. It was quiet but you knew he had heard it. He began to thrust faster, harder.
“You’re so tight, my darling.”
My darling. You felt sick.
You wanted to kick him, punch him, hurt him. He stole your virtue away. He had no right.
Or did he?
“You’re so obedient, my darling. You’re doing so well.”
Finally something had satisfied him, you thought.
You were sobbing as moans and whined fell from your lips, they mingled with his own sounds of pleasure.
You felt the familiar weight in your belly. No, no, no.
His fingers reached to rub circles into your mound. You didn’t last after that.
You spasmed around his cock, your walls clenched around it.
“Fuck, my darling, you’re heavenly,” he panted. “I’m gonna paint your insides white.”
You didn’t know what he meant by that but you didn’t want to find out. You weakly thrashed under him, straining against his hold on your wrists legs and legs.
A sudden burst of warmth shot through your body. He collapsed onto you while you laid frozen in shock.
He had bred you. Your mother had told you to never let a man breed you.
You were still in shock as he kissed your neck lazily. He hauled himself up and planted a kiss on your frozen lips. He pulled his bottoms on and started for the door, “I will return tomorrow, my darling.”
*Loki and Sylvie arguing*
*Y/n Lokidóttir just looking at both of them annoyed*
Y/n: Alright! That's ENOUGH!
*Y/n yells pushing the two loki's away from each other as her hands glow green from her magic forcing them apart*
Y/n: Dad, Mom! This arguing isn't going to get us off this damn planet and blaming each other not helping either so would both of you learn to be civilized!
*Y/n huffs from pouring her anger out like that while her father and Sylvie were in shock by the teenager anger*
*Sylvie was mainly shocked that Y/n called her "Mom"*
Sylvie:...
Loki:...
Sylvie: Did you just call me m-mom?...
*Sylvie covers her mouth trying not to smile*
Y/n: Yeah, so? You are my mom. You are a variant version of my dad, a female version. Therefore in fact, you are my mom.
*Y/n just realized what she just said as Sylvie starts tearing up*
Y/n: Mom- Sylvie I-
*Sylvie embraces the mini Lokidóttir smiling like an idiot*
Sylvie: I never had children before, let alone a daughter!
*Loki looking at Y/n with a smug look, who is clearly uncomfortable with affection*
Loki: aw, what's wrong Y/n? hug you're mother~
* Y/n grumbles at her father's teasing as she hugs Sylvie back awkwardly and Sylvie wipes her tears still smiling*
Loki: I'm just going to make this more uncomfortable.
*Loki group hugs Sylvie and Y/n*
*Y/n groans and blushes*
Y/n: At least, you two finally stopped biting at each other's throats...
Somebody asked me to talk about the misconception that Loki is always trying to kill Thor, so here are some thoughts.
When Loki and Thor are children, Thor is the one who expresses bloodlust: "I'll hunt the monsters down and slay them all". We can infer from this scene that Loki was not violent or murderous as a child (unlike a certain scene in Thor: Ragnarok would suggest which, let it be remembered, was completely improvised and therefore not written with Loki's actual character in mind).
Loki never expresses a desire to kill Thor (except on Svartalfheim, and we all know that was a trick).
The closest he comes to this is his command to the Destroyer: "Ensure my brother does not return. Destroy everything." Notice how direct the latter part of the sentence is, while the former is vague and left up to interpretation. This is a partial reach, but I wonder if Loki wouldn't have just told the Destroyer to kill Thor if that's what he really wanted.
Loki had the opportunity to use the Destroyer's death ray on Thor, and he didn't. He chose to slap him instead. Yes, this proved to be nearly fatal, but he could have been much more direct. The Destroyer is a literal killing machine.
Even knowing Thor was mortal, I sincerely doubt Loki believed he would actually die. To Loki, Thor has always been his strong and unbeatable older brother. He has probably seen him mortally wounded hundreds of times and it was probably impossible to imagine him dying from a slap.
Remember that at this point, Loki has no reason to believe that Thor won't try to kill him as soon as he finds out he's Jotun. Thor had been happily killing hundreds of Frost Giants just the week before, and had likely been doing so for the last several hundred years. So even in this "him or me" situation, in the midst of a mental breakdown, moments away from attempting genocide, Loki isn't able to directly attempt to kill Thor.
Loki never even comes close to killing Thor at any other point in the films. They fight on Bifrost, but they're fighting more for control of the mechanism here than with intent to hurt (let alone kill) each other.
In the Avengers, Loki doesn't even pretend to try. He stabs Thor once with a tiny dagger that looks like it affected Thor as much as a bee sting.
In TDW he takes it a step further and sacrifices himself for Thor (or at least tries to). Is the opposite of trying to kill someone trying to die to save them? I feel like it might be.
In Ragnarok he tries to... turn him over to the Grandmaster? I guess? And we get the snake story, but like I already said, that was improv done with no regard for Loki's actual character. And then Loki literally saves the entirety of the Asgardian people and supports Thor becoming king which doesn't seem very murderous to me.
In Infinity War he sacrifices himself for real this time, first throwing away a goddamn INFINITY STONE to tackle Thor to the ground with no thought for his wellbeing and then having the life choked out of him by his greatest fear and tormentor and also oh my god it's been FOUR films since the last time he sort of maybe subjectively tried to kill Thor and he's been actively trying to save him in three of those
This got a bit long and rambly but yeah. No matter how you look at it, Loki's attempt-to-kill-Thor count is either one or zero. That simply doesn't add up to any number high enough to qualify as him "constantly" trying to kill his brother. Also his attempt-to-save-Thor count is by my calculations AT LEAST six, and that's only on-screen and obviously not counting the hundreds of years they spent together before this.
The Chambermaid
Prince! Loki x female reader
18+ | contains smutty smut smut
Tumblr media
Having been promoted from simple maid to now a prince’s Chambermaid, you assumed the workload would be less considering you were now only catering to one person so you were surprised to find yourself even more exhausted now. Being a chambermaid to a royal meant waking up before them to ensure you had their breakfast ready, their bath drawn as well as their curtains and their clothes laid out all before sunrise; the royals woke frustratingly early. You later discovered that their early rise was to ensure that they all carried out any duties before midday allowing them the rest of the day free for other activities only the rich in Asgard could afford. Loki, although somewhat lacking duties, was no exception to this premature wake meaning neither was you.
Despite now only being contracted to ensure prince Loki’s welfare, you found yourself regaling his maidens too, and there were many. Most mornings you were cleaning up after them, fetching clothes for them and having the unfortunate job of marching them out of Loki’s rooms. You tried to do so with a smile, a smile that quickly faded to a frown whenever they’d make a comment in passing about your presence. Loki however was always quick to defend you. This morning you had managed to escort one of Loki’s flings out before running him a bath. Right now, you were making his bed, puffing his pillows when you noticed the markings in the headboard. You studied them, running your fingers over them when you realised they were bite marks. You wondered whose they were. Loki’s or theirs. You imagined how deep in the throes of passion you’d have to be to decide to take your pleasured anguish out on a headboard.
“Curious?”
You jumped as you heard Loki’s voice, startled as your hand fell from the frame. You couldn’t even find it in yourself to turn and face him.
“Your highness I—” you began before he interrupted.
“Please, it’s Loki” he corrected “my acquaintances are rather loud, they prefer to muffle their moans on my unfortunate headboard.” He spoke, clearly smirking from the tone of his voice. Well, that answers that question you thought as you slowly turned to face him, face flushing when you realised he was only covered by a towel hanging low on his waist. His skin was still wet, droplets cascading leisurely down his back, his shoulders, his face. You followed one down his chest, down his torso before it reached his muscular abdomen. You had to drag your eyes away from his Adonis belt before the droplet disappeared, the towel engulfing it. “I myself don’t muffle my moans but I’m not the one being fucked by a god.” He chuckled, removing his towel causing your breath to hitch as you spun around.
“Would you like me to um—to—“ you stuttered.
“Draw me another bath?” he interjected “I’ve just remembered that there’s a council meeting I’d like to avoid this morning and a bottle of wine I’d thoroughly enjoy immersed in it.”
“Umm-yes.” You spoke.
“Well, lead the way.” He prompted.
Your feet began to move, carrying you into Loki’s bathing chambers. Your hands were practically shaking as you twisted the tap before water came flooding out. Loki didn’t enter the washroom until the bath was full which was for the best considering he was currently completely naked. And wet.
“Not going to stay?” He called after you as you turned to leave. You paused, eyes rounding as you panicked.
“What?” You gulped.
“Apologies, that was said in jest, don’t look so pale” he assured. “Others would jump at the chance to bathe with me.” He snickered. “In fact, they do.” He added, mostly mumbling to himself. “That will be all y/n.” He dismissed.
“Your highness—” you were about to bid before he interrupted.
“Loki” he insisted “I call you y/n, you call me Loki.”
“Loki.” You nodded curtly before leaving.
Most of your mornings were the same until one morning things were different. The princes of Asgard were sent away for battle meaning that the prince's chambermaids, yourself included, didn’t have much to do throughout the day. You ensured Loki’s rooms were kept tidy and dust free but apart from that, you were left to your own devices.
One morning your devices left you running your hands over the bite marks on Loki’s headboard again. You couldn’t understand it, how anyone had managed to bite down so hard. You couldn’t picture sex so passionate, so electric that you’d subject your teeth to that torture. You thought about Loki’s previous words “but I’m not the one being fucked by a god”. Is that what makes the women so zealous, the fact that they’re sleeping with a god because that’s essentially what he is, a powerful, brooding god. Maybe that was the secret to messianic sex, sleeping with Loki.
Considering Loki’s room was uninhabited and your curiosity was well and truly piqued, you made your way onto his bed. Immediately you wanted to melt into the comfy sheets, bury yourself in his pillow but you couldn’t, that wasn’t the mission at hand. You ventured up the bed, facing the headboard as you did so until you were near his pillows. You lowered your head enough until your teeth were grazing the headboard but you were not close enough. You moved closer, his pillows underneath you as your teeth moved over the dents left from previous suitors. You imagined them, one by one as Loki fucked them. You imagined the movement of their hips, the way Loki would allow himself to moan freely. You added a tiny bit of pressure to your bite, thinking about how desperate they’d feel right before their climax, desperate enough to bite down harder. You hadn’t realised you were writhing above Loki’s pillows until you felt that familiar pressure building in your abdomen. It was wrong, truly wrong to continue now that you were aware but you were too close now. You ground your hips down harder, faster, eyes falling closed as you let the faux feeling of Loki around you, holding you engulf you. You came, sparing your teeth the pain by biting into your finger instead of the headboard.
You came down from your high before leaping away from Loki’s bed with shaky legs as if you had just been caught. Immediately you stripped it, replacing the bedding before leaving the room.
As the days went on, you found yourself yearning for Loki’s presence more and more. During the day, you prayed for his safe and no doubt victorious return but in the night, you imagined him when you’d touch yourself, cumming to the thought of his head between your thighs or him fucking you in his bed. It was a bad habit, thinking of him in this way knowing you’d never be in the fortunate position his lovers were but you couldn’t help it, Loki was your new obsession. You were enthralled.
One sunny morning whilst you were having a late breakfast, your presence was requested by Loki meaning that he was back. You tried to hide your elation as you rushed towards his rooms. Your smile was so wide that your mouth hurt. When you reached his door, you bit your smile down as you knocked. After a few moments you entered.
“Are you any good at stitching y/n?” Loki asked, facing his dressing table as you walked in.
“Yes, I can—” you began before Loki turned to face you “are you aware that you’re bleeding?” You pointed out, gesturing to the cut above his brow.
“Quite.” He answered.
“You want me to stitch you?” You gulped.
“I trust you.” He shrugged.
“And not the sisters in the medwing?”
“I trust you.” He repeated. You nodded in reply.
“Well, I just need to grab a few things.”
“I’ve got all the materials you will need.” He insisted.
“Right then, let’s get to work.” You clapped.
“Where do you want me?”
Underneath me
“Here’s fine.” You said, gesturing to his bed. Loki stood up with what looked like a first aid kit before making his way to his bed and sitting on the edge, looking up at you. You opened the first aid kit, laying the things you’d need out. “I’ve got to clean the wound first, it might sting a bit.” You announced, dabbing some cotton wool with rubbing alcohol. He nodded in reply before you pressed the antiseptic wool to his forehead. You knew it stung however Loki had no reaction. You positioned yourself closer to him, standing between his legs as you tilted his head further up before you began stitching. As you stitched, Loki’s gaze moved onto something else but his hand found its way onto your leg. His grip tightened whenever the needle penetrated his skin; it was obvious it hurt. You tried to ignore the tingling feeling flooding your centre as his hand practically caressed your inner thigh. His hand then ventured between your legs, wrapping around the back of one of your thighs as if this was better leverage against the needle. You wondered what he was thinking as you stitched, his face level with your cunt.
You hesitantly finished knowing that once you did, this moment of closeness would come to an end.
“It’s done.” You spoke, breaking the silence. You didn’t step away, he was still holding you.
“Thank you.” Loki smiled, looking up at you before slowly releasing your thigh, realising how tightly he had been holding it “sorry.”
“Don’t be.” You smiled chastely. Your eyes lingered on one another’s for a few moments before you both realised and tore your gazes away from each other. “Well” you started, clearing your throat “if there’s nothing else, I’ll just be going.”
Loki nodded as you departed grudgingly. You made it to the door before wrapping your hand around the handle and turning it.
“Wait.” He called out, making you pause.
“Yes Loki.”
“Could you—um—would you” he stammered as you turned to face him.
“Yes?”
“Draw me a bath?”
You nodded, strangely upset that this was his only request. You had let your mind run away with you. You made your way to the washroom, tears pricking at your eyes. Once you had run Loki’s bath, you called after him to no reply. You made your way out, calling him again when you saw him lying on his bed but he didn’t answer. You tried again to no avail. It was clear that he was asleep so you thought it best if you simply left. You headed to the door again, pausing when you heard Loki’s half asleep voice.
“Stay.”
“W-what?” You answered, unsure whether you heard correctly.
“Stay here, please.”
“Okay Loki, I’ll stay.”
You stepped towards his bed cautiously, stiff as an iron board when you laid against the edge of it. Your eyes rounded when you felt Loki drape an arm around you before pulling you back against him until your back was against his chest. You felt him breathing softly against the nape of your neck, smelt him against the pillow, you were happily engulfed by him. Inhaling deeply, you allowed yourself the privilege of closing your eyes.
Hours later you were woken suddenly by the sound of Loki mumbling almost incoherently. Your eyes flew open as you felt him writhing against you; he was hard. You whispered his name but he didn’t answer so he was probably doing this in his sleep. His rock hard length was pressed against you so you pushed your hips backwards until he was firmly pressed against your ass. You let your mind wander again, imagining being one of Loki’s flings as he ruts against you in his sleep. Reaching behind you, you grabbed his hand before slowly placing it against your hip, stifling a little whimper at the feeling. You had heard of this phenomenon before, men returning from battle and having a delayed adrenaline rush. Was this it? Was this Loki’s delayed adrenaline ramping him up and turning him on?
Your dress began riding up your legs before you tugged it up and then paused, this was wrong. You knew you should be waking him up, stopping whatever this was but gods it felt good.
“Fuck” he muttered, grinding against you “don’t stop on my account.”
Great, now he was awake
“Loki I—” you began, unsure what to say.
“If it’s satisfaction you crave, continue pulling your dress up or by all means, you are free to leave, I won’t pressure you into doing something you don’t want to do.”
You were silent, not sure how to answer.
“Make a decision, pet.”
Pet
Pet
Almost immediately, you pulled your dress up before tugging your panties down.
“Are you sure?” Loki spoke in your ear.
“Gods yes.” You almost moaned.
“Very well.” He smirked, slapping your ass causing you to bite down on your lip. You moved one of your legs slightly as he angled himself towards your entrance. You could already feel how slick you were with earliers heavy petting and the thought of him inside you so you wasn’t surprised when he slipped in with ease. His hands were both on you, caressing your body, holding your hip whilst he fucked you. He pulled you back against him, one of his hands snaking round you to tease your clit. You were near certain this was all a dream, a very sexy dream.
“Yess Lokii.” You moaned as he drew fast circles on your clit, his cock moving against your walls. He rolled you over until you were on your front and he was above you. You tried to stifle your pleasure in his pillow as he drilled into you, circling his hips as he came. He slowed his thrusts before pulling out completely and laying against the bed. You hadn’t realised, too lost in your own world until Loki’s spoke.
“Come here.” He commanded. You lifted your head, looking at him when you noticed that he was still hard. Obediently, you made your way towards him, lowering yourself on top of him, both of you moaning as he entered. With the new angle came new pleasure. You bounced above him, feeling him deep inside you as you screamed his name. He was gripping you tightly, chin tilted upwards as he looked at you. When your eyes met, you felt as if you were floating, the intimacy not going unnoticed. His fingers were rubbing your clit again, sending your pleasure into overdrive. Your thighs were already shaking.
“I’m gonna cum Lokiii, oohh godd.” You cried as he fucked up into you.
“Cum for me, come on, ughh, such a perfect cunt ughhh.” He groaned.
Your body tensed as you reached your climax, it was undeniably the best orgasm you had ever had. Before you had even fully recovered, Loki spoke.
“I want you on my face.”
“Loki” you gulped.
“Now.”
Submissively you once again followed suit, only pausing when you were positioned above him. Thinking about the practicalities of this position and not wanting to hurt him, you were about to object until he pulled you down on top of him, feasting on you. You moaned his name stridently as he suckled on your clit. You were already so sensitive, thighs quivering as he lapped up your arousal, the lewd sloppy noise filling the room. Your pleasure was too much, your moans were too much. The feeling was too much, too electric. Before you knew it, you were leaning forward, biting down on the headboard, making new markings as Lokis tongue entered you.
“Lokiii.” You cried, your orgasm spilling over you as your thighs tightened around his head. He continued licking your cunt, groaning as you came on his face. After a while, you realised Loki probably couldn’t breathe so you got off of him quickly, not knowing what came over you. Your hand found your mouth as you looked at Loki laying there red faced. “I’m so sor—”
“No, that was perfect” he beamed, licking his lips “norns you’ve made me hard again.” He smirked.
That was unexpected
Loki made his way off of the bed, standing at the edge as he pulled you towards him, positioning your legs over his shoulders before entering you again. You fucked, you came, Loki lifted you up and had you against the wall before you both came again until you were both thoroughly sated.
Eventually the two of you relaxed in a bath, Loki massaging your shoulders as you sat between his legs. It felt unfamiliar to be in the basin this time.
When you were finished, you were back in his bed, only laying down this time before falling asleep. You knew you were bound to wake up sore.
Needless to say, you never had to chase any more wayward women away. You were enough.
Part 1 // Dark Alternative Ending // Read on Ao3
Tumblr media
My love.
The endearment lingered in your mind as you struggled to eat. You felt sick from the night before, and you were full of a new kind of nervousness. Loki had never called you that before, and why would he? You were nothing but a sarcastic ‘darling’ to him.
Things between you had changed quickly, but you knew it would feel easier if you could stop your racing thoughts for just a moment.
The Prince was no help to your predicament. He had buttered your toast for you, for God’s sake. Since when had he ever buttered your toast?
Perhaps it shouldn’t have been as irritating as it was. It was a nice gesture, one that warmed your heart and spurred on the butterflies you had felt as you lay on his chest the night before. But you shouldn’t be having butterflies, should you? This was Loki. You may have had your fair share of sweet moments, but you’d had more than your fair share of bickering and teasing and winding each other up.
Your brother had come to the palace for the summer, on a break from school. Thor had been doing his best to make him feel welcome in your gang, and Loki… Well he was being Loki.
He didn’t like not having your attention. Thor and Aksel had been gathering wood for a mini bonfire, and trying to show off who could lift the heaviest logs. You’re pretty sure Thor is letting Aksel win.
As you were distracted watching Thor and Aksel trying to throw logs further than each other and cheering them on, a snake slithered its way across the grass to you, and you screamed, rushing to your feet.
“Loki!”
The Prince simply laughed, lounging back on the blanket as the snake wound its way up Aksel’s leg. Your brother yelled, kicking it off until it fizzled away in a green shimmer.
“What the hell, Loki?” You kicked him in the leg.
He rolled his eyes. “Don’t be such a spoilsport. It’s only a bit of fun. And don’t kick me either.” He kicked you back.
You reached down and tried to push him over, but he batted you away. Not deterred, you crouched down to get closer, but he knocked against your leg and you fell back on your bum. You huffed, reaching out a leg to kick him again.
“Don’t kick me!” Loki got up onto his knees and pushed you down.
“Well you shouldn’t use magic to scare people!”
You grappled with him, pinching him in the ribs until he yelled in pain and you got leverage to push him over. You sat on top of him, jabbing him in the chest.
Thor and Aksel watched as you bickered and fought, the latter more concerned than his Prince.
“Are they always like this?”
You felt like you should be as stubborn as you always were and smack his hand away from your toast, and it was a tad unnerving that instead you felt yourself fighting off a blush.
He’d suggested a walk in the gardens as the weather was so nice. At least in public you could keep your distance.
It was just your luck that you found them practically empty.
You walked with Loki in silence for a while, trailing your fingers along the flowers and leaves. It was only when Loki stopped beneath a tree that you realised you hadn’t seen anyone else in a while. He tugged your arm and you looked back.
His gaze was intense as he pulled you to him slowly. You held your breath as you moved into his space, your hands coming up against his chest as you breathed in the earthy scent of him. His body was warm and solid beneath your touch.
His eyes held yours as he lifted a hand to touch your face, the other wrapping around your waist. You couldn’t help but lean into his touch, closing your eyes as your heart raced. “Loki..I-”
“I know,” he said quietly, “But I feel it too.”
You bit your lip for a moment, looking into his eyes. “You do?”
His grip tightened on your waist, and he tucked your hair behind your ear . “I do,” he whispered, “Let’s take it slow.”
You found  yourself reassured at his words. This was new to him too, and yet he could still feel what you felt, this newfound need to be closer.
You touched his wrist lightly, nudging his hand away from your face. “Okay. We’ll take it slow.” You pulled out of his arms, but came beside him and placed your hand in the crook of his elbow. He looked down at you with a warm smile and your heart skipped a beat. You could get used to that.
The next week followed quicker than you thought possible. It had only been five days when Thor pulled you to the side of a ball.
“Take a walk with me, Y/N. I’d rather be out of earshot when Syf tells the new ambassador all about our next excursion.” He grimaced and winked at you, gesturing to the doors out onto the patio.
You glanced briefly at where Loki was standing talking to the Queen, and then followed Thor outside. The cool summer breeze was refreshing and you sipped your wine as Thor leant against the railing.
“It seems I’ve lost my chance, Y/N. My brother has already won your affections.” He smirked at you and you rolled your eyes.
“He hasn’t won anything. You know I love you both.”
Thor hummed. “Something has changed between the two of you.”
Loki had found the way back to that beautiful clearing from before, and this time you’d brought a picnic.
He lay the blanket down on the soft grass for you and you made yourself comfortable as he unpacked the food and champagne.
You poured two glasses and passed him one. “To you, my Prince.” You raised your glass.
“To me?”
“To you. You saved me.” You couldn’t hold his gaze as you spoke, looking down.
Loki put his glass down, sitting up onto his knees and taking your chin in his hand, making you look at him. “I’ll always protect you, darling.”
After you’d eaten you found yourself tired. You didn’t let yourself stop to second guess your actions as you lay down, resting your head on Loki’s lap. He threaded his hands through your hair, kneading your scalp.
“Better?”
You hummed, closing your eyes and basking in the feeling of the sunshine on your face and his fingers on your skin.
You came to stand beside Thor, gazing out into the shadowy gardens. “It’s still very new.”
“Loki’s always had a soft spot for you. We both have.” He shakes his head. “But the way he’s been looking at you this evening, I’ve never seen him look like that before.”
You swallow hard, not sure what to say.
“If he ever hurts you, Y/N-”
“He won’t. You know he wouldn’t.”
Thor sighed. “I know. But he’s still a man. We are foolish creatures.” He nudged your shoulder with his. “I always did wonder about the two of you.”
“Really?”
“Of course. You’ve always matched each other.” He took a sip of his drink.
 You scoffed. “We barely tolerated each other half the time.”
“It’s still a kind of passion, isn’t it?” Thor raised an eyebrow.
You frowned. You’d never thought of it that way.
You were sat on the couch in your rooms, your legs up on Loki’s lap. He was tracing light circles on your ankle as you both read. You were absorbed in your book, leaning back against the pillows.
Loki silently traced his fingertips higher up your calf, and you were too distracted to notice. It wasn’t until Loki gently lifted your skirts higher that you were pulled out of your daze, and you looked at him over your book. You nudged him with your other foot. “Oi. Watch how high you’re going, your highness.”
His eyes shone with mischief. “I can’t help myself, you’re just so lovely.”
You felt your cheeks grow hot despite the feeling that you were being teased. “And just how lovely am I?”
“The,” Loki traced his fingers a couple inches higher than your ankle, “most,” a couple more inches, “lovely,” he stopped just below your knee, holding your gaze. Your heart was beating rapidly from his teasing touch. “My darling.” His hand grazed just above your knee and you shivered. He sat up to lean over you, his face inches away from your own, his eyes glinting. “Your legs are just as beautiful as the rest of you.”
You were both shocked and not at how much you wanted him to kiss you.
“Loki…” You whispered, feeling his breath on your lips.
You couldn’t come back from this. Loki was your friend, and once you crossed that line, what would happen?
He was just as handsome as ever, and for once you let yourself linger on it. You drank him in, his cool green eyes, his sharp jaw, his dark hair, his soft lips…
You closed your eyes and…he met you halfway. The kiss was warm, and firm, and…Electrifying.
You were melting into it as he pressed himself against you. Loki groaned, kissing you hungrily. A moment longer, and you pulled away to catch your breath, your cheeks burning. You looked at each other, flustered, and giggled.
Loki chuckled with you, pecking you on the lips. “Not bad, darling.”
“Not bad yourself.”
You’d lit a fire between you, and though you were still taking it slow, you still found yourself frequently pressed against your Prince, panting as he kissed your lips, your neck, his thigh between your legs.
Things had changed so quickly, and yet it felt so natural. You were hungry for Loki, despite your best efforts to remain in control of your emotions.
You were bound to get caught one day soon, and you dreaded it. It could only mean two things: a reputation ruined or a marriage proposal.
And how were you supposed to think sensibly about everything when you were being whisked away to a birthday surprise, courtesy of your Prince?
Loki had taken you on a long ride through the country, refusing to tell you where you were going. You’d ridden down roads, across fields, down country lanes, chatting easily and racing occasionally. Finally, it seemed that you’d now entered onto some kind of estate, trotting up a long winding gravel road. Tall trees lined it, the grass due for a cut, a few stray twigs and branches scattered across the path.
You stayed quiet as the avenue opened up into the sunlight, a large gravel entryway leading up to a grand manor house. You slowed down, taking in its beautiful regality.
A man, who appeared to be the groundskeeper, appeared from the ornate front door, looking rather out of place. Loki hopped down from his saddle before helping you down, his hands tight on your waist. His fingers lingered a moment as he held your gaze.
“Your royal highness.” The man greeted, bowing. “My lady.”
“Good afternoon, Anders.” Loki turned away from you and nodded, taking your hand and placing it in the crook of his arm. He smiled at you. “Shall we?”
He took you up the steps and through the huge front door. The entryway was just as impressive, a swooping marble staircase at the centre. Everything was white marble, or ornate cream moulding, an enormous glass chandelier hanging over you. There was a notable lack of furniture, and as Loki guided you through the house you saw various pieces covered in dust sheets.
“This was one of our summer houses growing up. It’s been vacant for a few years.”
You remembered him and Thor going away for a few weeks in the summer. Hadn’t you also accompanied them a couple of times?
Loki reached a set of double doors, pushing them open to reveal a large swimming pool. Golden stone slabs lined the floors, chairs around the edges of the room, some sat around a coffee table. The far wall was made entirely from glass, now thinly covered in moss and leaves, the sunlight streaming in in golden and green hues.
You remembered this place. It had seemed so much bigger back then, filled with you children, the glass clean and shiny as the room looked over the gardens.
“Fancy a swim?” Loki pulled away from you, picking up a pile of clothes from a nearby chair. “I’ve had it cleaned and refilled. I thought you might enjoy a dip in the water, I know it's been a while.” He offered you the clothes.
You lifted them up, a short, simple, cotton dress and matching long cotton shorts. You could work with that.
You smiled at Loki, touching his cheek. “You know me so well.”
“I do, don’t I?” He smiled smugly.
You changed in a small changing room to the side, Loki helping with your dress as you tried to ignore the butterflies in your stomach, his fingers drifted against your skin. When you finished and came back he was already in the water, topless.
You gulped as you took in his muscled body, his arms, his shoulders.
You were salivating, the sight of him was quite literally mouth watering.
Oh gods, you were fucked.
He held his arm out for you to lean on as you sat down on the side, dipping your legs into the water. You gasped as he put his hands on your waist, pulling you down flush against his body and into the water.
He kissed you deeply, pushing your back against the tiles and lifting your legs to wrap around his waist. You moaned, instantly melting under his touch, heat building between your legs as you felt him there. It felt so incredible to be so close.
Loki kissed down your jaw to your neck, nipping you lightly as you giggled, inclining your head so he could kiss your sensitive skin some more. “Can you believe this is happening?”
“If this is a dream, I don’t want to wake up.” He murmured into your neck, before leaning back and kissing you on the nose, a surprisingly affectionate gesture.
“You know what else I can’t believe?” You smiled wickedly at him.
“What’s that, darling?”
“That you haven’t even offered me a piggy-back ride, and we’ve been in the pool several minutes already.” You scooped up a handful of water, pouring it over Loki’s head.
He shook it off, splattering you in the face as you squealed. “I suppose I should have known my place.” He sighed, turning around and lowering himself.
You strung your arms around his neck, jumping on. “Damn right.” You pointed ahead. “Now take me for a ride, oh handsome steed.”
Loki snorted, but waded through the water nonetheless.
You spent half of the afternoon in the water, messing around like kids, and spending a substantial amount of time with your legs wrapped around Loki’s waist, your lips pressed against his.
You had sat in the garden afterwards, eating a picnic in the sunshine and taking in the beauty of the grounds. They were visibly more neglected than the Palace, but still tidy enough that you could see what they were meant to look like.
The ride back was long, and you were tired. But you were also so content that you found yourself not caring; you’d had the most wonderful day. If every day could be like this with Loki, then your anxiety would soon fizzle away. You could get used to a life like this, with him.
When you arrived back you ate supper quickly, before taking a nice long bath and sliding into bed. You slept better than you had in a while.
It was your birthday, and you’d been summoned to your mother’s rooms for morning tea. When you got there, however, any ladylike decorum flew out the window.
Aksel greeted you with a beaming smile, and you flung yourself into his arms with a squeal.
“Brother!” You smiled. “It’s been so long!”
“It really has,” he agreed.
You hugged him again, beyond ecstatic. The last time you had seen him had been at your coming of age.
“I’m your birthday surprise.” He did a little spin. “My boy is old enough now that I don’t have to worry about leaving his mother, so I thought I’d come down and see you.”
“Oh how are they?” You linked your arm in his, immediately thinking of your sister and nephew. “I need to come down now they are well. I’ve yet to meet him, see how my sister is coping with motherhood.”
You guided him onto the couch as your mother entered. “Happy birthday, sweetheart.” She leant down to kiss you on the cheek as you thanked her.
“Did you organise this all, hmm? Up to your meddling again, mother?”
“Of course.” She huffed, sitting down across from you and fluttering her fan. “I won’t have my two children drifting apart.”
Aksel smiled, answering your question. “Both mother and babe are in excellent health. They’d be overjoyed to see you.”
You could see the fondness in his eyes. He’d managed to find true love and keep it, why couldn’t you?
You spent most of the day catching up with your brother, but even through your joy you could feel yourself missing Loki. You really were buggered.
Thankfully, it wasn’t long until Loki came to your chambers late that afternoon.
“I’ve got another surprise for you.”
You giggled, pulling him along and sitting him down on the couch. “Give it to me!”
“So impatient, darling,” Loki tsked, but revealed the gift anyway. A large ornate trunk sat in front of you and you opened it, pulling out one of the most gorgeous gowns you’d ever seen.
It was a deep forest green satin, with the bodice embroidered with tiny green jewels, a sweetheart neckline and off the shoulder bishop sleeves. It was elegant, luxurious, and breathtaking.
It was his colour.
“It’s beautiful.” You whispered, staring at it in awe. You turned to him and pulled him to you. “Thank you.”
You knew what it meant, the subtle admission of your newfound relationship. It should have scared you, but it didn’t.
You just might have to deal with your mother’s keen eye. You’d dealt with worse with Loki by your side; there was still that night.
Well, you supposed there had been two of those nights now. The first, and the second that awoke this new intimacy.
The first had been its own kind of awful.
The King had found you alone for once, waiting for Loki in the library.
“Lady Y/N.” He greeted.
You rose from your seat quickly, dipping into a curtsey. “Your Majesty.”
“What are you reading?” He gestured for you to sit again as he took the armchair opposite you.
“The History of Asgardian Theatre, Volume II.” You read the front cover. “Volume one was too long ago for me.”
“Ah, I see. A queen needs to be well-read and supportive of the arts.” He nodded. “Frigga is.”
“Yes, the Queen has many charities.” You smiled politely. Why in the world was he speaking to you? You’d never shared more than pleasantries in all your years of being in the royal household.
“A queen also needs to be able to listen to many battle stories, over and over again.” He looked at you pointedly. “I’ve often seen you with the Princes, listening intently.”
You frowned. “I beg your pardon, Your Majesty, I’m not sure-”
“You would make Thor happy, would you not? You spend an awful lot of time together.” He remarked.
“I will always try my best to be a good friend, Your Majesty, to both of the Princes,” you said, cautiously.
“I don’t doubt it, Lady Y/N. But now I am talking only about one of the Princes: Thor.” He sat forward. “Would you be a good wife to him?”
You gulped, your heart hammering painfully in your chest, “Your Majesty, I love the Prince, but I do not see him as more than that.” You tried to balance your voice between soft and firm, but it threatened to break. “I do not wish to marry him. I do not wish to be Queen.” Your hands shook as you folded them in your lap. He wouldn’t force you, would he?
“Every lady wishes to be queen!” He laughed. “You cannot deny what is in your nature.”
“But it is not in my nature, Your Majesty.” You shook your head. “Thor is a wonderful friend, and a brave soldier, a powerful god-”
“He is everything you could want, is he not?”
You opened your mouth, but words failed you. This couldn’t be happening.
“Are you calling my son deficient?” Odin’s voice had quickly turned hard.
Your stomach dropped. “I would never.” You shook your head, “Thor is wonderful,” you repeated.
“His Royal Highness.” Odin corrected you. “This is not the time to be impertinent, young lady-”
“Father?” Loki appeared around the shelves.
“Ah, Loki. I was just having a private word with Lady Y/N.” Odin smiled. You forced a smile to your lips.
“I’m afraid you’ve caught her at a rather bad time.” Loki flicked his gaze over to you. “We’re due to see Thor in a short while. I was just coming to walk the Lady up.”
It was a lie, you’d only planned to read together. He must have heard your conversation.
“Ah, I see. Another time then, Lady Y/N.” You stood up and curtseyed to the King as he left.
You looked back at Loki with tears in your eyes, and he came over to you, rubbing your arms and shushing you.
“We’ll give it a minute and then go up to Thor’s rooms. He will convince our father to change his mind.”
You nodded, sniffling, unable to speak for fear of crying. Men had so much power, and you had none.
You were pretty sure Loki was stunned into niceness by your tears and quietness. Once Thor had left to talk to the King, you went back to Loki’s apartments, and he ordered up some of your favourite cake from the kitchens. He didn’t pick on you, the only teasing coming as you debated your favourite plays from the 5th century.
It was nice to have him on your side.
The banquet and ball was just what you needed to end your lovely day. To be able to dance the night away was one of the best luxuries of the season.
You’d received too many compliments on your dress to count, your mother watching you and Loki like a hawk. She was too quick to fool.
And when you were dancing with Loki, it was hard to remember who you were trying to fool, or why.
He was so handsome in the candlelight, your hand in his as he guided you around the dance floor. With the music, and the wine, and just how close Loki was to you, it made your head spin.
He noticed, leaning down to speak in your ear. “Come and take the air with me, darling.”
You nodded, following him out, just about remembering to take your hand out of his.
Thor was already leaning against the railing when you walked through the doors. He looked back and rolled his eyes.
“There’s the happy couple.”
You rolled your eyes back, shoving him in the shoulder. “What’s made you so grumpy?”
“I’ve got a theory.” He sipped his drink.
“And what’s that?” Loki asked.
“That you guys are spending way too much time on your own without me.” He squinted at you both.
You sighed dramatically. “You’re probably right. I’m starting to look like him.” You gestured to your dress.
Thor chuckled. “I noticed.” He winked at you. “Though his dresses aren’t nearly as pretty as yours.”
“Objection!” Loki huffed.
“Overruled.”
“Overruled.”
You and Thor laughed, and he clapped his brother on the shoulder. “I’ll leave you to it, lovebirds.”
Loki watched him go. “I don’t understand why people always say me and you are the troublemakers. You two are just as bad.” He turned to you and prodded you. “I still remember when you got him to put fish in my bed.”
You laughed loudly, covering your mouth. “That was a good one.”
“How would you feel if I put fish in your bed?” He poked you again, pressing you back against the railing. “Although I can imagine far better uses for such a comfortable place,” he said lowly.
Your heart sped up and you bit your lip, looking down from his sparkling eyes to his lips. You wanted to kiss him so badly it hurt. You couldn’t wait any longer.
“Okay,” you whispered.
“Okay?” Loki murmured, his face inches from yours.
“Okay, let’s go.” Your heart was going to beat out of your chest.
It was a challenge. And if there was one thing to know about you and Loki, it was that the two of you never backed down from a challenge.
Loki groaned, pressing his forehead to yours. “You’re such a little minx, darling.”
You grinned. “You love it.”
So much for taking you the minute you walked in; it took Loki ten minutes to get you out of your dress, and that was with his remarkably skilled fingers. You wondered what else he was remarkably good at.
You shivered in your thin slip as Loki draped the dress over a chair, feeling exposed. He came back over to you, uncrossing your arms from your chest and kissing you gently.
“Are you sure you want to do this?” He whispered.
You nodded, finally letting yourself give in to your feelings and kissing him hard. There was nothing that you wanted more right now.
Loki kissed you like he couldn’t get enough, pushing you back until your legs hit the edge of the bed. He lay you down and held himself over you, still kissing you, as he traced his hand up your leg to your thigh. He squeezed and you moaned into the kiss, desperate to be touched more.
It only encouraged him more as he kissed down your jaw, your arms around his neck, his hand pressing between your legs. You gasped at feeling his fingers on your sensitive skin, feeling them move into your heat, and Loki groaned into your neck as he slowly rubbed your clit. It felt so good to have him here, so warm and solid against you as you closed your eyes to the pleasure he was giving you.
“That’s it,” he murmured, “Good girl.”
It was your turn to hide your face in his neck, as he rubbed faster, letting out a reluctant whimper at his words. You’d never thought you and Loki would ever be in a situation where those words didn’t end up in a slap. But here you were, moaning in his arms.
He pushed his fingers lower, slowly pushing one inside you. You held on tighter as he began moving his hand, your legs shaking from the anticipation.
“We’ve barely begun, darling.” You could hear his smug grin at feeling you so worked up beneath him.
And then he was moving faster, steadily pumping his finger now. You whined louder, squeezing your eyes shut. He kept going, but you needed more, something, anything more.
If you didn’t know he wasn’t, you would have thought he was reading your mind. He pulled away, leaving you empty. Before you could even process what was happening, he had grabbed your legs and pulled you to the edge of the bed.
It was one of the most erotic things you’d ever witnessed, being manhandled, him kneeling between your thighs, hands on your hips. You threaded your fingers in his hair as he kissed your heat, licking it.
Loki moaned at the taste of you and you felt it ripple through you. He pressed two fingers into you, drinking in the sight of you on your back, your hand over your mouth, eyes screwed shut in pleasure.
He rubbed your clit with his other hand as he began to pump his fingers faster, and your legs began to shake again as you pulled his hair, moaning loudly.
“That’s it, darling. Does that feel good?”
You let out a whine. “Don’t patronise me.”
Loki grinned, speeding up and watching you keen, arching your back as you covered your mouth to try and drown out your moans.
“I’m sorry, what was that? You’ll have to say that again.” He grinned devilishly at your reaction, not slowing down in the slightest.
“Oh, gods…” You whispered, unable to open your eyes as the sound of your wet heat filled your ears.
“Yes, darling?” Loki was enjoying this too much. Still he kept going.
You smacked him on the head. “Dont-even…” Your words turned into moans. “Please, Loki…” You gripped his hair harder. It felt so good, so good… it was too much… “Please…I want to-”
He slowed to a stop and you let out a scream of frustration. “You absolute arse!”
But before you could scream at him further, he buried his face into your heat, his fingers reaching a slow steady pace.
You fell back against the bed, barely able to think as Loki swirled his tongue around your clit. It felt incredible.
He sped up his pace again, both with his tongue and his fingers.
You fisted your hands in his hair, barely conscious of what you were doing as your body began to climb a peak. It felt like every nerve was electrified as he rode you through the waves of pleasure, as he kept going, and going…
“That’s it darling. Good girl.” The words echoed in your head.
It pushed you over the edge, falling into your orgasm, shaking from head to toe as you bit down a scream.
You panted, still shaking, as Loki crawled over you, kissing you on the forehead.
“I think I’ve found your trigger.” He murmured.
You huffed, holding onto his arms to ground you. “Did you just dirty talk to me telepathically?”
“Yes.” He pecked you on the mouth before smiling wickedly at you. “I’m glad you liked it, because we’re not done yet.”
And then suddenly his skin was pressing against yours, hot, and hard.
You were both very much now naked, and you were getting the feeling that this wasn’t Loki on top of you, it was the God of Mischief.
He knelt between your legs, and you took in the mouth-watering sight of him, his cock rock hard. He was huge.
He pressed the tip between your folds, groaning as your juices coated him. He smiled wickedly at you.
“Ready?”
You bit your lip and nodded, and he pushed inside you, stretching you despite his previous efforts. The pain mixed with pleasure as he began to thrust slowly.
Loki groaned again. “You feel so fucking good, darling.”
You whined, reaching your arms out. He lay over you, letting you wrap your arms around his shoulders as he pressed his face to your neck.
You dug your nails into his skin as he began to thrust faster, moaning loudly at how hard he was snapping his hips into you.
“Good girl,” he grunted, “You’re taking it so well.”
You sighed at his words, letting yourself go as he fucked you hard, fast, his thrusts relentless. The feeling of him pressed against you as he ruined you was delicious, and as he bit your neck you felt the pressure building and building.
“Please..” You whined.
“What is it? Tell me what you want, my love.”
You wrapped your legs loosely around him, desperate to have him closer but not wanting his thrusts to grow any shallower. His cock was hitting just the right spot, over, and over, and over…
“Please, Loki… Don’t stop.”
He groaned. “That’s my girl.”
You didn’t think it was possible for his thrusts to become even more brutal, but you were wrong, and it was perfect.
You fell over the edge before you could even realise what was happening, your legs squeezing him tight, your nails digging into the skin on his back, a scream erupting from your throat as you convulsed in his arms.
“That’s it, darling.” Loki murmured, not slowing down, before his hips stuttered just a moment later as he came loudly, his face buried in your neck.
You held onto each other a moment longer as you couldn’t stop your legs from shaking, your whole body tingling.
He kissed your neck, then your jaw, then your face, peppering kisses all over as you laughed. He pulled out and you winced at the empty feeling before he pulled you back into his arms, running his hand over your hair and kissing the top of your head.
“You okay?”
You nodded against his chest. “Can’t move,” you murmured.
You felt his chest rumble as he laughed. “Good girl.” He kissed your head again. “How about a bath? I’ll brush your hair.”
The butterflies were back. “Come with me?”
You couldn’t go back from what you’d just done, but you found it didn’t matter. Everything felt so good, so content, and you felt safe in Loki’s arms. The future really didn’t seem so scary anymore, not when it inevitably held so much more of this feeling, not when it was with Loki.
“Of course. I’ll always be here for you, my love.”
