An antechamber, were he to guess—grand and elaborate, with tall ceilings and elegant pillars of black marble wrapped artfully in gold detailing that reminded him of Asgard in architectural style if not color: built to intimidate, screaming of power and royalty not unlike Valaskjalf. Cold, lavender-tinted light bathed the chamber, gifting every polished surface a purple highlight. Upon the walls were huge mosaic murals depicting three god-like beings in various situations of conflict and peace, all in varying shades of blue and purple, black and gold. More self-aggrandizing tyrants. How splendid. Apparently, escaping one tyrant’s clutches only to land into the hospitality of another was all that his life entailed these days.

Hi! Thank you for the ask, and extremely sorry for the recent inactivity!

We plan to begin posting weekly as soon as all six chapters are written down. We've currently written around 65K words in total, which should roughly be around 35-40% of the entire work. We expected to write much more this month, but unfortunately most of us are in either high school or college, neither of which are well known for providing people an abundance of time, so *shrugs*

Taking this into account, our earlier goal of finishing it by the end of this year was... likely an overambitious one. Realistically, all six episodes should be written by sometime in early 2022, but there is a small prologue we may be releasing earlier!

How’s the fic going do u guys need anything bc I wanna support

Thank you for your support! We're nearing 50K words in total, and have got the prologue in addition to most of episodes 1 and 2 written down (that's nearly one-third of the rewrite!). We are not taking any new writers at the moment, but we might soon invite people to do sort of a beta + test-screening (test-reading?) thing once episode 1 and 2 are fully fleshed out to see if people like the direction we are going in. We'll let you guys know if and when that happens.

Meanwhile, our ask box is always open!

Hi! So it doesn't look that this question has been answered yet but are you guys possibly going to redesign the poorly named "Void" from the Sylvie series? Coz it doesn't look like my idea of a Void --which is what Loki fell into from the Bifrost. -- In other words are you going to rename the Void or keep some of the same elements? Just what is happening with the void, lol.

In the rewrite, the term 'Void' will, in most cases, refer to what Loki fell into near the end of Thor (2011). The 'Void' from the Sylvie series - as in the place variants went to after being pruned - is not part of the rewrite's worldbuilding (as well as an incredibly stupid concept in general, but that's a matter for another rant).

#fun fact: most of the rewrite's worldbuilding and plot outlining happened in the week between episodes 4 and 5 of canon #so any similarities between our work and eps 5 and 6 of the sylvie series are genuine coincidences #instead of being the result of a deliberate fixit effort #although we do hope there aren't similarities at all #loki series rewite project #the superior loki asks
