Repeat Offender (dark!Lokius)-First fic I've ever written. It's "ID: L-1130" because I start with a pretend intake form. After the "intake form" it's : "After his brief attempt to elope with the other variant, L-1130 remained uncooperative and provided no information regarding the rogue variant’s whereabouts despite multiple rounds of kicks to the groin, courtesy of the Lady Sif."

Electric Eye (Gen)-"Heimdall closed his eyes and pressed his fingers against his ear ducts."

Ambrosia (Lokius (mostly), minor Sylki)-"His thoughts were too noisy. "

hello, and welcome to my blog! my name is Loki (you throw a rock out here, you hit a Loki! - Mobius)

i’m a pagan trans person who practices chaos magic. i recently discovered The Lokean Path through research i was doing about Marvel’s Loki, and realized there’s a big way to connect my role model to my spiritual path.

here’s the disclaimer: there’s discourse surrounding Loki (which he would probably enjoy, let’s be fair.) in the pagan community he’s often a taboo topic, and any Lokean who is a Marvel fan is seen as not knowing what they’re talking about. it’s important to remember that the image of gods can and do change over time. any interpretation of a god keeps their folklore alive. whatever way Loki finds you, it is valid. the signs are there in the universe as long as you look for them.

there are many differences in lore between the Norse God Loki Laufeyjarson and his Marvel interpretation Loki Laufeyson (Variant 1130). this blog will highlight those differences as they come up. in my own practice, i see Loki 1130 as a human-like summation of all his parts, including his originating Norse mythology. but if you choose The Lokean Path, he will likely reveal himself to you in a way that makes sense to you personally. there’s no wrong answers here, as he is a master shapeshifter and the god of non-conformity.

Ummm, Kate, I know you mean well and I will always be grateful to you for fighting for the bi thing-but this is probably not the best way to address this after pissing so many trans and genderfluid fans off. Though I can understand her feeling like she has to say something in the wake of Marvel’s silence. The point isn’t just the reactions of the other Lokis though-it’s that our Loki shouldn’t even have asked that question the way he did. But I will say one thing-this at least confirms what she and others have been saying in interviews-that the not all the variants are alike and not all of the non-Tom looking ones are shapeshifted it into another form. So yes, not all of them are going to be genderfluid and Sylvie supposedly is not since her file says female. However, Classic Loki is an older version of our Loki, so no it shouldn’t come as a surprise to him at all. Apparently some of them just are different than our Loki and don’t look like him. So if nothing else, no they don’t all have the same DNA; especially since Loki can shift his DNA at will. Like I’m thinking that that’s Boastful Loki‘s true form. I know this article may piss off some people, and I can totally understand why, but please don’t anyone harass her over this…. obviously polite criticism is fine but way too many people in the fandom seem to have a problem knowing what that actually is.

headcanon   :    more tva lore,   but this time what mobius does specifically.   and maybe a general timeline on whatever tf is happening with him up until the tv series.   you know the rules,  folks.   if canon says otherwise sometime in the future,  things will change.

warning:   and  PLEASE DO NOT REBLOG   as this is a private headcanon i have that applies specifically to my own portrayal and interpretation.  

division.    mobius describes his job scope as “pursuing dangerous variants” but make no mistake,  this man is a scholar.  he’s been described as an academic many times by show creators and mr h/iddleston himself,  and how i see this can be interpreted as,  is him working under a specific Behavioural Study of Dangerous Variants Division  —  the quickest way i can describe his job is likening it to the Behavioural Analysis Unit in FBI, aka it uses behavioural analysts to assist in criminal investigations.

role ( on-field ).    that being said,  while mobius is authorised and has gone out for field-duty many times,  the procedure to which one may operate while on-field falls under the head of the minutemen.  which,  in this case,  is hunter B-15,  whose team has been assigned under mobius.  mobius is not a hunter.  he does not have the on-field experience as a hunter,  but he’s crucial in terms of analysing the crime scene and is the head of many investigations even prior to sylvie’s case.

minutemen.   when mobius was transferred into the TVA,  he did not have his start as a minutemen.  this obviously contrasted ravonna’s story because we saw how she went from being a minuteman ( a hunter ) and climbed up ranks until she was a judge.  mobius has always been “recruited” as a scholar,  and while he’s excellent at it,  it does gives him the disadvantage of not being as combat-ready as most of his coworkers are.

behavioural study of dangerous variants division.   so mobius particularly studies variants that has a high nexus rate events.  these means “characters” that tend to stray from their set path more than others.   he’s studied thanos ( aka why there were many infinity stones lmao ),  shang qi’s mom, a few english poets,  known conquerers like mehmed II and known inventors,  nikola tesla etc.  

variants he’s studied  -  loki.   loki has always had a suspiciously high nexus rate events — but more than it was sinister ( although there were few cases wherein a loki was truly unhinged ),  loki’s nexus rate events had always happened simply because ( for the lack of better term ) loki does whatever the fuck he wants.  so this means,  alligator loki who ate the wrong neighbor’s cat.  or that one loki who decided to elope cause they fall for that one person they met by chance.  a loki who walked the wrong path that one time.  mobius has always been fascinated by this.  but it wasn’t until sylvie’s case was confirmed to be a direct cause from an L-variant that he finally sat down and studied loki completely.

variants he’s studied  -  others.   mobius finds stephen strange particularly hard to capture.  they’ve finally developed a protocol for him,  but even that took a while.  B-15 likes the challenge though.   the first variant mobius managed to convince ravonna to have around for a behavioural study when the variant wasn’t particularly dangerous or has a high nexus rate event is a variant of  tony stark.   he finds tony stark very charming,  if not a little bit arrogant ( that’s somehow attractive too ) ;  was almost convinced by tony for a one-night-stand.  capturing carol danvers left a lot of dents to the agency’s walls.  variants like nebula and rocket never quite could get pass the robot-detection gate.

other mindless facts.   

#  other than loki,  wade wilson  has a matching ( if not higher ) nexus events rate.   he’s always somewhat known about the TVA beforehand,  and mobius and wade is on first-name basis even though mobius is sure that each variants of wade has never met him before.  

#   other than 1130,  the variant that struck most and stayed with mobius is a variant of loki who’d only recently become a mother and was captured a few weeks after the birth.  mobius tried hard convincing ravonna that loki and the child should stay,  extending their lives,  by helping with his study.  ravonna refused ( for good reasons;  because that loki variant showed an extremely high capture rate,  which meant they’re very deadly and significantly dangerous ),  and for a long while,  mobius can’t open an L-variant file or look at it.

#   the capture of celestials and eternals are under a different division altogether.

The fun thing about Loki is that the TVA reset our timeline so events as we saw them in the movies go on as usual. But the second Loki 1130 is dragged through the portal into the TVA, he no longer has a timeline. He doesn't belong anywhere, to any timeline. He has no time-home anymore. He simply exists.

This story is still about our Loki, but the moment he steps through that door, he becomes a different Loki.

This is the story of our Loki variant from his POV and the life he leads from the moment he's taken. I love this Loki - Loki 1130 - more than the one in the sacred timeline. His hero's journey is unique, and incredible. He finds, outside of time, what he couldn't find within time: the realization, acceptance, and belief in the value of caring for others, of true friendship, and of love in different forms - family, friendship, romantic.

#I know this is what all the variants are #but it just hits harder when its our Loki ya know?

Another Lokius Headcanon

It's almost 4 am my peeps

Anyway- what if when the Loki show's done, they send Loki back to his timeline and Mobius was in charge of putting Loki back where he came from. Then Loki pleading, as in on his knees begging Mobius to not take his memory of the TVA, of Mobius, away.

And Mobius just sighs and resigns and allows Loki this because he's helped so much and because he couldn't bear that this Variant he'd become so infatuated with would forget him (I mean it's protocol to remove the Variant's memories right? Like I think it's a part of it but like— just roll with it dudes)

And Loki knows what's going to happen to himself, knows how he dies, he knows that he's the cause of Frigga's death, and he knows that he's going to be taken back to a cell on Asgard. Knowing all of that, he does everything he's not supposed to do. Let's say, he didn't tell the Dark Elves to go the way he tells them to and somehow, Frigga doesn't die. He doesn't fake his death and pretend to be Odin and they don't go to earth looking for him. Basically, Loki does everything he's not supposed to do hoping that the TVA would intervene and he'd see Mobius again.

That's it. That's the headcanon. I didn't think it through yet. And it's almost 4:30. Goodnight and I need that fanfic.

-Y'all I started shipping Mystrade after I found a Mystrade post on Pinterest while looking for Johnlock pins. They haven't met yet in the show but they have a whole fandom looking for proof that they HAVE met.

While watching the whole series, I think they met 3 times... -ish

1. A Study In Pink- at the end of the episode when they were at the crime scene - where they found the cabbie's body, the cabbie that John shot - Scotland Yard police officers and Lestrade were there. Mycroft was there too at the crime scene. Although, we didn't see them interact.

2. The Hounds of Baskerville- I forgot what happened in this episode like all I remember is that they were looking for a devil hound but then that wasn't it. Anyways, the part of the episode when Sherlock and John went to the resto and Lestrade was there,

Lestrade: I've told you. I'm on holiday.

Sherlock: You're brown as a nut! You're clearly just BACK from your holidays.

Lestrade: Maybe I'd fancied another one.

Sherlock: Oh, this is Mycroft, isn't it?

AND

Sherlock: Of course it is. One mention of Baskerville and he sends down my "handler" to... to spy on me, incognito. Is that why you're calling yourself "Greg?"

AND THE LAST ONE,

John: That's his name!

Sherlock: Is it?

Lestrade: Yes... if you'd ever bother to find out. Look, I'm not your handler, and I don't just do what your brother tells me.

Meaning that Mycroft gave Lestrade that order to spy and look after Sherlock. AND HE LISTENED.

3. The Final Problem- This one's my favorite one. At the end of the episode... I can't find the exact words, but I'm pretty sure that near the end of the episode, Mycroft's at the hospital, and Sherlock asked Lestrade something along the lines of "Is Mycroft okay?" In which Lestrade responded with "I'll take care of it." Meaning Sherlock trusted Lestrade enough to look after his brother, Lestrade went to the hospital where Mycroft's at. And saw him. In the bed. In a hospital bed. Tired. And feeling sick. I fangirled so much during this episode despite the fact I understood almost nothing.

There's one more during The Abominable Bride but they didn't actually meet. They met in Sherlock's mind.

And during The Sign of Three episode (I think) where Lestrade was wearing a polka dot tie to John and Mary's wedding, and Mycroft wearing the same one in Sherlock's mind palace. In my head, I feel like it's because Sherlock associates Lestrade with Mycroft.

Edit: The two may have met during the 5+ years that Sherlock helped (solved) with the cases in Scotland Yard, the post is abt the ones within the show

Another Edit: I re-watched His Last Vow for sum Mystrade things. They did meet there when they were looking for Sherlock so now they met 4 times-ish. Thanks @kitturah and @sugar-chrysanthemum :) love y’all

Ok. Soooo there's a drawing on Pinterest.

The headcanon is Frigga gets pruned and meets all the Loki variants. Like this was set during ep 5. And she recognizes HER Loki and also this made me cry.

And here's where the Lokius part comes in. Like before Frigga arrives, the variants start teasing Mobius while Loki and Sylvie are having their heart to heart conversation. Then Frigga arrives, thet hug and cry and Mobius is at the side under the shelter thing watching them then Frigga notices and she asks the Variants who Mobius is then Sylvie's like-

Sylvie: Loki's boyfriend.

Variants: *breaking from the hug to look at Mobius*

Mobius: What?

Then our Loki's super red and Frigga has a heart to heart with Mobius.

well, I don't know for sure, but I assume the L means Loki and 1130 means he's one of at least 1,130 versions of Loki, given that "Variant L1130" seems to be a label for him specifically.

I’m still confused and I want to understand-are all of these guys Lokis too? Some of them definitely look it with the horns, at least one looks like one of the variants that was shown in episode 2, and I saw another one using magic during the fight. A couple of them are hiding their faces so they could look like prime Loki behind the disguises. I’m assuming some of them got taken much younger like Kid Loki so they would look different too. Or are some of them not Lokis and just trying to fit in with the horns?  I guess I’m just confused as to why so many of them would choose to walk around in different shapes after Loki seemed to spend most of his life in his prime form? Did they just get tired of looking at each other and all looking the same (President Loki does call them “half faced” after all)? Is there even an in universe reason or is it just that the show didn’t want to have Tom act out all those different Lokis (him fighting different versions of himself looking the same or similar would’ve been hilarious though). Why aren’t any of them women-although people have been saying that the redhead is? To me the readhead is a younger Viking Loki who was going through a redhead phase.

Were some of them born different and only some of them are supposed to look like Tom? Is it like Jane becoming a Thor? Are they all Jotuns? I keep hearing how the Lokis have the same DNA but people seem to forget that Loki can literally change his DNA. For example, I doubt the form Sylvie is in is the form she was caught in when she was a child. I’m sure she’d want to leave that form behind. Obviously same for Boastful Loki and Croki. People have been asking the creators about this but they don’t answer back on SM as much anymore (thanks a lot for that by the way, biphobes, trolls, and/or militant shippers of certain ships).

If they are all Loki Variants, do they choose who gets to wear the primary Loki face? Take turns? Are there other animal versions of Loki? Do they vote or fight to choose leaders? Do they realize they were literally fighting over a mall Santa chair to rule over like 4 other Lokis (though you could also say they were fighting over all the resources there)?  I’m going to assume the void makes you go kind of feral and desperate-I mean we had roving bands of cannibals and/or pirates after all. What happened to Jotun Loki (I’m going to guess Hulk Loki got himself eaten by Alioth)?

It’s obvious the TVA doesn’t catch every Loki who deviates from the timeline right away. Otherwise President Loki, Jotun Loki and Hulk Loki wouldn’t have had time to become as different as they did if they had been arrested right away. Also the TVA either lied about Prime Loki‘s death and he got away (like Classic Loki, who would be his future version said), or Classic Loki is a Variant who lived and somehow managed to hide from the TVA for hundreds of years and only got caught when he decided to try and go find Thor. So how do they keep missing all these Lokis and not finding them right away? Is that why they’re considered so dangerous?

Are there a lot of pirate Lokis? Did Mobius steal the car from a bunch of pirate Lokis???

headcanon.    mobius has always had a fascination with the loki variants.  he thinks the chaotic of their nature is astounding,  fascinating :  because while few loki variants went down an extremely dark path,  a lot of their nexus events are merely just them going slight off script by doing whatever the fuck they want.  when sylvie’s case in particular was causing so much trouble,  mobius practically  begged  ravonna for a loki variant having had studied loki’s whole life — just to assist.  to help.  to observe.  meeting L variant 1130 was both a headache,  and a thrill.  but it’d also solidify a more personal tenderness towards loki in general.  so anyways,  what i’m meant to say is :   he will always have a fondness for loki,  any variations of it,  and it really is as simple as that.
