playing mostly with coloring, Rise introducing markings is such a nice and refreshing change from the all sam green turtle, different bandana color turtles I grew up with. fanon taking that concept and applying it in conjunction with actual turtle colorings also scratches my visdev brain node just so

Laird originally conceived April as an asian woman in his notes, Eastman drew her as a biracial woman he was dating at the time (April Fisher) and... idk what to tell y'all, people are running around being mixed in this world all the time, Brooklyn got hella Jamaican/Chinese so there you go

April being a "weirdo" as I've seen mentioned in Rise can stay, I'm picking that, that's a great trait to her character, big fan of Poly Styrene, loved Rachel True in The Craft

where "weirdo" is just she's into alt subculture and being in New York... she got her hands everywhere in those scenes

She and Chu Hsi get to have the most shoujo fuckin' romance because it's cute

and she's still a living drawing which I'm changing around a bit being why she felt like a "weirdo" and leaned towards subcultures and the turtles, she did eventually begin to destabilize but Venus stabilized her by trapping her in a scroll so she could work on a solution. ...where she has a long, happy relationship with Chu Hsi in the painted world scroll because lol time dilation

saw somewhere on the hellsite that the tooth gap is passed around every iteration... so April gets to have it

87 Irma went through a lot so she can have some dry wit and humor and be fly as fuck, big hair, big glasses, and a big attitude

Babs, Bruce and Danny in my dpxdc merfolk au!!!

argh, plz excuse the poorly edited photo lmao- lost a lot of detail TvT

Babs has her info Here. But this is her design! I’m not actually entirely sure if any of these designs are final, i might tweak them, but here she is! I gave her necklaces.

Bruce is based on a leatherback sea turtle! The spots aren’t actually super accurate to a leatherback’s underside, but if you look at it a little harder... you may find a fun little easter egg. It’s subtle... or at least i tried to make it that way. (If people don’t get it i’ll explain in a rb lol) Did you know that leatherback sea turtles can be up to 880 pounds? Idk what that is in metric but that’s roughly 7 and a half Bahfevs. They’re also much more triangular/less round than other turtles, so I reflected that in his design. And ofc, Bruce and Damian are both sea turtles bc they’re related. But they’re different sea turtle species so it doesn’t make much sense. Who gives a flip. What’s Talia, you ask? To that I say: 🤷‍♀️

(Side note: apparently, I’ve conditioned myself so I can’t draw nuetral expressions. It’s gotta have some emotion or else it looks wrong, and it feels natural to always have something going on there. So... drawing Stoic McStoicface here was a pain in the penis. He kinda has an expression anyway lol)

Danny is based on a ghost knife fish! I’ll be honest, i didn’t even know these existed until I looked up “ghost fish” in the hopes of finding something thematic. But then... omg! They’re black with little white accents? Like Danny’s design? And they have cool, funky bodies? AND they produce electricity!?? That’s so FKING COOL! I’ll have to do more research, but so far i’m pretty sure they don’t produce enough electricity to hurt someone. They are related to electric eels though! I first learned that electric eels were knife fish and not true eels when I was researching the moray eel for Duke. Funny how that connects!

Danny’s story under the cut!

Okay so basically: Danny went diving to gather pearls because he wanted to make his parents happy/proud. While he was diving, His foot got caught in a rock and he couldn’t get it out. He panicked and he begged— to who? God, maybe? The universe, or the ocean? Maybe just begging fate or any higher power that could be out there, he doesn’t know. His only prayer was “Don’t let me drown!”. Unbeknownst to him, one of the pearls he’d grabbed was a magic, wish granting pearl. They’re rare enough that humans don’t even have legends of them... but the merfolk do ;).

The pearl took his very non-specific wish and decided to give him a tail and gills. He swam back up in a panic, and saw his new tail. Of course, this is a very horrifying thing to happen. But in less than a minute... it was already starting to dry off. As it dried, it turned back into skin.

Now, Danny has to be extremely careful not to get his legs or hair wet when he’s near people, because he’ll turn back into a merboy.

i... probably should have given him a shirt? He’d be wearing it, right? But i also did need to see what I was doing with that fin thing lol. I mean, a shirt would get annoying with that fin- he’d probably take it off. Tbh he’d probably have it off when swimming in general? Idk.

So: funny thing that happened when I was drawing Danny:

A first grader came up to me while I had it open on my desk, and she was like:

“Oh my god, that’s so good! Like, how did you even draw that?”

so I was like: “Oh thank you! ❤️”

And I think she asked again “How did you even draw that?”

so I was a little confused on how to answer, so I said:

“Well, I used my pencil...” and held up my pencil—

and then she got distracted by a spinny chair.

hey! I adore your art :-D how do you draw the ROTTMNT turtles, and do you have any advice about how to draw them? I have a really hard time drawing them, and you're really really good at drawing them. /nf

this isn’t even a tutorial it’s just a showcase of my weirdo art process 💀 anyways uh. yeah this is how the magic happens i am aware this was not helpful <3

to make up for it, here r a few tips i’d like to give from personal experience

utilize your knowledge of gesture and structure. they go hand in hand, gesture giving energy, and structure giving solid dimensional form. just because its 2D and that you’re capable of cheating the way it looks doesn’t mean you can fully bypass certain art fundamentals.

take the time to learn and get used to their shapes and anatomy. they’re not really comparable to proper proportionate humans, they’re exaggerated and angular. not to mention the fact that each of the characters are modeled after a certain shape. it’s best to go back to ground zero, and adapt to the way these characters are built without the interference of it not being anatomically proportionate.

USE REFERENCES OFTEN!!! even if you think you don’t need them anymore, not using references can legit screw up your perception of the characters while you draw them. (don’t be like me lol my older stuff was so off model it was EMBARRASSING)

keep drawing them to your hearts content! it doesn’t have to be perfect, you just have to be confident in your own abilities as an artist and keep drawing what you want, despite what you think about your work. eventually, you will improve, and to improve, you have to get comfortable with drawing them!

i don’t really have much to say about how i draw them or how to teach anyone how, but i hope this helped somehow 👍

🎯 Do you have a writing milestone you’re working towards?

nope. I am at the whims of my inspiration and energy levels.

🦈 Which character is the toughest to write?

in ROTTMNT I would probably say Mikey. I think it's a little easy to lean too hard into the sort of "sweet little brother" thing that a lot of fandom likes (this isn't meant as a callout, lol, I like it too) and forget that he is canonically a little gremlin who is very silly and sometimes pretty gross (I mean he's a 13 to 15-year-old boy so it tracks).

Also he probably has the least defined character arc of literally every main character in the series (including the supporting cast like April, Splinter, Draxum, and both Caseys). Leo has his struggles with his place and identity within the team as well as his growth as a leader, Donnie has his issues with feeling replaced and directly linking his family "needing" him to his family loving him, Raph is struggling to live up to the expectations of the clan and his role as a big brother, April deals with her struggles connecting with her own peers and her fear that she doesn't count as part of the fam, Splinter has a billion things going on, Draxum has a whole redemption arc (truncated as it was) and Casey Sr effectively does too, and Casey Jr. has grief and trauma. And Mikey... would probably have had a really good character arc if we'd gotten the rest of season 2 and season 3!

A lot of Mikey's episodes where he gets to really get feelsy and show his emotions are directly tied to other people's character development, especially Donnie's and Draxum's, so we don't get as much of what his deal is. The only really solid Mikey centric episode is Hot Soup The Game, which definitely brings up Mikey's frustrations with being the youngest and thus babied as a result, so that's something you can draw on for his character, but even that's more tied directly into what he wants from interactions with other people and less about what he wants for himself.

(the truffle episode is super weird... like Mikey learns not to take his friends for granted? I guess?? I wouldn't have expected him to in the first place but yeah I guess that's some character development lol)

(actually as a total side note, it does annoy me a little that when Todd is first introduced as a character in Season 1, the whole point of his superpower being niceness was that he was so nice you'd do anything for him, and even villains were unable to turn him down, which was a really good gag and made him an interesting character. Then at some point it became that Todd's niceness meant he couldn't turn anyone down and suddenly he was just kind of a doormat, to Mikey first in the truffle episode and then all of them later in Todd Scouts. I actually like the Todd Scouts episode but also you didn't have to do that to him lmao)

(actually actually even though I like Todd Scouts I would have loved a version of that episode where Splinter stayed with them in the woods and then we dealt with how his feelings were hurt by the kids being more interested in their phones than his teaching and they could have pointed out that their dad kind of waited until late in life to start teaching them life skills and IDK WE DIDN'T GET THE FAMILY BONDING CAMPING TRIP WHEN THEY GOT CAUGHT IN THE TURTLE TANK IN SEASON 1, WHY DIDN'T WE GET IT IN SEASON 2??)

What is Ronin’s Relationship with the other turtles like?

okay okay so like!!! its complicated! info dumping time!!

so context it starts out rock, obviously since hes freshly dumped here in this new world every he loves is dead trauma ect ect,

then it starts getting a little steady (baby tots), they're toddlers at this point and ronin tries to fix everything he wished he could with his brothers example: "no donnie you DONT know everything" "raph you dont have to always be in control" "leo you dont have to hide everything to make your brothers feel better!" but it kinda backfires because they're kids man! and communication is lacking so while he thinks hes helping them they feel like he's taking away what makes them who they are and like overall targeted

so we go back to rocky, ronin starts to draw back in on himself again because its slowly setting in that they might be them but they arent HIS brothers and the relationships suffer because of it (the kids kinda feel at fault)

now they're healing and working out how their dynamics work with each other

so the relationship so far, we got:

ronin and leo get along silently, leo goes to ronin when he feels under pressure or needs somewhere to unwind its like an unspoken thing they do where leo gets overwhelmed and sits with ronin while ronin meditates or cooks and they just enjoy each other's company no words necessary (and!!! later on ronin helps her crack her egg, transfem leo, baybee!!)

ronin lets donnie info dump to him and takes him above surface to look for scrap and stuff for inventions, donnie also likes trying to pry any information from ronin about his past as he can as discreetly as he can and ronin likes to tease him "i was made by vampires" "im actually a human in a costume and the zipper got stuck" "i used to be able to fly" (one of these things is true lmaoo)

ronin and mikey's relationship is the most underdeveloped, while ronin loves them all subconsciously or not he ends up showing the others more attention and mikey obviously notices, but it doesn't mean they dont bond, mikey once confessed he wanted to learn to cook like ronin, much to ronin's delight, but mikey has...a particular food pallet and ronin tries to encourage him to make things properly but mikey likes to experiment in the kitchen...its sometimes edible lol

More info dump? Yes sir – but this time I'm gonna talk mainly about our beloved Casey j. We all know and love our future boy and wish him the very best life that he can have after all that he went through – BUT – I can't stop thinking about the fact that – he will need probably a looong time to actually settle in, even if he will learn the way of "the simple life of a teenager" – this boy still lost – literally everyone but he also gained them all back – but different – they wont be the same people he once knew because they wont go through the same things – even if their key thing will stay – they still wont be the people he once knew – but they will probably look like them the more they grow up and how difficult is to let go of something when that very something is right Infront of your eyes but different ? or the survival guilt he must be dealing with? I personally think – he would want to love the simple – less stressful life – but wont be able to – even if he would try to work through his trauma and all – it not something he will ever be able to shake completely - sure he might leave to see the world one day, alone or with someone, and he will get the chance to see thew world he fought tooth and nail to save – and slowly but surely he would learn to love this place, even with it bitter moments. now here it's where I come with Yummi eheh their relationship is actually my favorite – (sorry Leo <3 I love you with all my heart) because – as I see it – When Baby Yummi first joins their family, Casey gets to witness a very familiar behavior from the fam, the parental behavior from Leo, the uncley vibes from the turtles, this baby is basically plays a similar role that was belongs to him back in his time line – he will be a little bit distance from her in the beginning, not on purpose it will just happen- they will share their sweet moments here and there but very few in her first couple of years – until she learns to walk and talk enough that when she gets really clingy to his specifically so he plays along, he really do cares for her, its just – hard- after everything , but then – they share a small moment when she asks him if he's going to join them to some place, he says no cause of reasons, so she claims she won't go either and when asking her why – cause she was so excited to go she will say she wants to go with him cause its always much more fun when he's around – she doesn’t even gives to it much attention, she probably draws or something, but Casey – he think about it a little bit more, Yummi wasn’t present in his time line – she can't because she was created as a result of the Kraang invasion and defeat, and although he saw the world met people that nowadays are alive instead of dead or surviving, saw kids that got the chance to grow up and be born at all – he wasn’t really closed to all that – and maybe that why he didn’t felt a connection to this reality yet? He's always around the people who sometimes he sees the ghost of their past? Other? Self? And he loved them to death don’t get me wrong, but Yummi specifically (up to this point of the story) is the only very closed person to him who doesn’t have "another version of". Casey had to learn to love the world his whole family knew and tried to fight back to save it – but he never had that connection to that world, he was a little bit to stuck in the past, to focus on the ghost of people that wont ever be that it was hard for him to love the present that they all gave him. So – this kid – that little gremlin is one of his first connections to this reality that doesn’t rely on something from his timeline – if that makes sense? It makes sense to me lol. Casey's 20's are ups and down, but from this point forward – I think he will find it much easier to breathe and be present in this timeline. maybe part 2 someday – cause their relationship get's a serious twist when its revealed and Yummi is part Kraang lol (here are scracps of a comic i worked on but will never finish - it takes place after Yummi's whole - Kraang arc)

Now that that’s out of the way time for a bunch more questions!!! >:D

How often do the turtles go in their shells & for what reasons? (My guess is Mikey most bc he’s a silly little guy, Raph 2nd bc he doesn’t really think abt it, Leo last bc he thinks it’s beneath him & Donnie often curls up under weighted blankets wishing he could hide in his shell forever) also did Donnie incorporate any way for his battle shell to hide him like a turtle shell?

What’s it like in their shells? Cozy? Cramped? Surprisingly spacious? Are they as good as isolated from the outside world or can you still see their faces if you look in the top?

How protective are their shells? Since Draxum made them to be mystical warriors do they have any special resistances? Are there any runes or something he teaches them that they can apply to their shells?

Your simple answer has opened up the floodgates lol What can I say? I always get so excited to learn more abt your AU <3

i forgorrrr what i said about shells before. oopsie.

the turtles will go into their shells kind of infrequently. like, if they're feeling grumpy or need to protect themselves. i dont usually draw this because i forget. they went into their shells more when they were younger and splinter got mad at them, but they learned to stop doing that in response to Splinters anger because Splinter would just get even madder at them for hiding. so they will sometimes feel self conscious about hiding in the shell because it feels a bit childish, like the equivalent of pouting and hiding under a blanket. Donnie's battle shell makes him feel safer, but there isn't really a way for him to have the same in-shell experience as his brothers.

cozy at first, but it quickly becomes cramped if they stay in them too long. staying in your shell too long can make your limbs hurt lol. they're not completely isolated in their shells and can generally still be hurt if you try hard enough. except mikey, who's shell has like hinges like his species (western box turtle) so he can fully close up in their. dont ask me to draw it because i dont think it'll make sense if i try. just trust me.

the shells are VERY protective, prolly more protective than any armor they could ask for. Except for Donnie, who's shell is very strong for what it is, but still not as durable as his brothers. idk about any runes or anything, but Draxum isn't above trying to boost the turtles magical capabilities to compensate for physical "inadequacies" as he sees fit.

🩹Who is the Medic?

Out of everyone, I think Mikey would be the best medic. He's the only one who deals with physical threats and therefore is the only one who actually needed to learn how to properly treat wounds. At some point it just became second nature to him.

Everybody knows some basic stuff though. CPR, the Heimlich manoeuvre, and how to appropriately dress a wound. Mikey is just the only one who uses it regularly, so he's the one who takes care of it.

🔬Is Donnie only interested in Tech?

Nope! A big part of this au is that he actually can't leave any sort of magic alone. In this universe, I'd say that he actually has quite a big interest in the other sciences as well, and a special interest in space and the ocean. Anything inhuman and (at the moment) unexplainable is immensely intriguing for him.

🫵Who do you project onto the most?

I suppose Donnie? Out of everyone, he's the one I have the easiest time writing/drawing. I think it's because I've always had a very logical and straightforward way of thinking, and therefore it's easier to project on him. In this au in particular, I am most definitely projecting some of my thoughts on comic horror onto him. I don't think I would be able to escape his world either, because I would also desperately need to understand what is going on.

I don't know if that answer made any sense ^^' I hope it did.

Been currently in a TMNT mood, since I've been watching the 2003 series, and rewatching episodes and clips from the 2012 series. And seeing how Rize handled their designs, I really wanted to make my own designs for them, along with playing with concepts of what I would do if I had to make my own series, hence why I call this universe "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Underground". I got a lot of fun ideas for this series, and I hope to draw some of the other characters, but lot with most of my projects, I may not have to time to fully expand on it, so feel free to ask questions! I'll also share details about my versions of the turtles, both design elements and personality stuff. Also as a side note, each of them are hybrid turtles. They were all originally common snapping turtles, but were mixed with another turtle each. I also wanted to play more with the mutant element idea with them, hence why they have tails, webbed hands, beaks and so on. Think it would be more fun that way. -Leonardo Hamato- Leo is a hybrid of a common snapping turtle and a black-knobbed map turtle. I gave him a dark, saturated colour palette because I felt that suited him well, playing into how he takes the ninja stuff the most serious, and to showcase his bold and mature nature. It's also why he wears the black cloth on his arms and legs. Because of the map turtle in him, he has a spiked spine down his shell, though he has a very noticeable and massive scar on his shell, as a result of a situation that happens when they were all still kids. His bandana I kept similar to previous series of the turtles, keeping it classic. The best way to describe Leo is that he is a complete mother hen, the kind of person who gets up at 5 AM to get his family prepped for the day. He took on the eldest brother role with pride, and wants to do what's best for his brothers, taking care of them and protecting them whenever he can. This has lead to him being wise, mature and responsible, but also struggle to ever say no, and forgets to have "me time" and self-care. His lack of selfishness has caused him to get caught up in many problems, but no matter the problems he goes through, he will always be the big brother to the others, even if he has to learn that sometimes selfishness is okay. He also completely oblivious to certain social cues, especially romance. You could imagine Karai's annoyance when Leo did not understand the concept of flirting for a good while. -Raphael Hamato- Raph is a hybrid of a common snapping turtle and a alligator snapping turtle (He got the double snap in him lol). A lot of his design was inspired by Rize, and a little bit of hulk, cause I just think it's fitting for his character (Along with elements from Slash in 2012). I lean towards swamp like colours, since that's the environment most alligator snapping turtles are found in. His shell, when viewed from behind, has four spiked I imagine look sort of like a opened fanged mouth, playing into the beast nature behind him. He also has the longest tail, which he mostly drags around due to it's weight. I gave him the full cover bandana that is tattered, as it's the most fitting for him. Like most of his counterparts, he is indeed a hothead, and loves violence. Because of his large size, and double snapping turtle genes, he just enjoys being rough with his fighting style, being a wall to get through when challenging him. He's got a lot of classic older brother habits, like holding the others in headlocks or even leaving the door open when leaving their rooms. He's always the first to run into danger, as he knows very well he is a tank, and can take most hits for his brothers. Also a big fan of wrestling. But he is also an animal person, with a soft side to him, especially for his family. He may get loud or brutally honest towards them, but when he knows they need him, he'll cut the act and help. Or at least, his style of help. -Donatello Hamato- Donnie is a hybrid of a common snapping turtle and a diamondback terrapin. Because the turtle he is a hybrid of has very pasty white skin, I ended up giving him very light and pale colours to reflect this, along with the spirals on his shell. His gear, including his bostaff, has some minor modifications to them, along with him having goggles, cause I like the goggles quirk. Made him very tall and lanky, though not as tall as Raph. For his bandana it's similar to Leo's, back as thinner back ribbons that end in a square shape, rather than a pointed tip. He has a dry wit, laconic kind of way of speaking. A true know it all, who acts like he doesn't have time for stupid things. He has a very logical mindset, and likes to invent, learn and gain new knowledge wherever he can, often the one to go to when you need a problem solved. Despite his sarcastic nature, he does mean well, and is always willing to lend a help or fix things for others, as he grew up being the one who repaired things like damaged skins or the fridge. Though because of his logical nature, he's poor when it comes to the concept of emotions, and has a tenacity to over complicate things. He also likes joining in on debates, but tries to stay reasonable with his offers and suggestions. -Michelangelo Hamato- Mikey is a hybrid of a common snapping turtle and a Spotted Turtle. His colours were a little harder to figure out, but I eventually settled on a palette that references some of the older TMNT designs, with the deep pure green and bright colours. He is the shortest of his brothers, and a little more rounded than him. With his smaller height, he's the best at being quick and agile, being hard to catch. I gave him spots since he is based on a turtle with spots in the name, and he has a very rounded shell. With his bandana, I had to keep the short bow look, as it's too cute to not have, along with giving him a little scarf of sorts. Being the baby of the team, Mikey is considered the heart of his brothers. He may not be the brightest with things such as science or logic, but he is the most emotional understanding of his brothers, able to read people with an empathic mind. He's good at connecting with people, and loves to brighten people's days. He also needs to constantly be doing something, needing to focus his mind on something, and will always want to be involved. Though admittedly he has some pretty lazy moments, known to do things like ask for someone to pass the remote when it's barely out of reach of him. He's also the kind of person to suddenly ask very strange questions out of the blue, his mind always wandering as he fidgets with his nunchucks. But if someone ever needs cheering up, he'll be there, being the kind little turtle he is.

Ranting anon is not really ranting but they wanna talk abt how cool your art is (bc it's a nice distraction from complicated emotions lol) so he's gonna do that :D

So one of my absolute favorite things is to see artists drawing Donnie using ASL since I've been learning it for 3 years and when I saw you do that in the kid leo comic I got so frickin excited and I really hope to see it again in the rural au with Leo! Plus I love how you don't really fandomize characters (Ex: make Mikey into just a super emotionally smart character, make Donnie being autistic his only trait, etc) and it's super cool. I don't feel like getting into how cool the way you show characters being so interesting and having overlaping qualities rn because that's gonna be really hard to explain but again your just super cool, can't wait to see more of your stuff (and lowkey if you do wanna use asl more but need help (idk if you actually know asl or not lol) I'm totally down to help out!) Be gay, love rottmnt <3

WOAH YOU'VE BEEN LEARNING ASL FOR THREE YEARS??? THAT IS SO SICK!!! I'm glad that Donnie using it makes you happy, I truly think he taught all of the turtles and April ASL ( or a modificed version) for when he needed to communicate nonverbally, ya know? Unfortunately there won't be any in the Rural au because historically, Leo would not have gotten an oppurtunity to learn any type of sign language :(

However I might look into it more in a futru version of the au where he's older, since they did start using sign language more prevantly after the 1940s and then much more into the 60s!! He'd be pretty old tho- anyway I am literally rambling. I don't actually know ASL, so I will absolutely be asking for pointers in the future ( my eyes are huge rn it's so cool that youv'e been leanring it omgmg)

Welcome to my blog! Where i post about my future leo; Orion! (Even though that's a nickname, lol)

In the future i hope I'll post short comics that i myself draw, and gifs, animatics, anything really :] i just want to create, but i only started seriously learning to draw about a year ago, so it'll take a while before i do the things i need actual patience for lmao <3

I also occasionally post some Semi-Feral Polaroids content! It's a lovely shared AU @so-called-yokai and i put together where Orion and their gorgeous oc Eshra are romantically involved :]

I'm rather socially awkward due to ADHD, Autism, and social anxiety, so i can't promise that I'll respond to comments

Just know that i appreciate it a whole lot when you take time out of your day to tell me something!

I'm new to Tumblr ( I have only had it since the summer of 2023 ish). So bear with me as i learn how to use it!

I will post here very rarely (i can disappear for like 6 months at a time, that is a promise) but the rise fandom has motivated me to get better and draw again (hyperfixations go brr)

(i basically only draw Orion and Eshra but y'know-) oh, and i don't fuck with t-cest, that's nasty. I'm also not very invested in ships other than Semi-Feral Polaroids, so don't expect that from me

I made my own au a while back! I'm still fleshing it out and all, but i named it "slightly feral future leo (with ghosts)" or "sffl(wg)" for short. It's a very self indulgent "peepaw ended up in the past for no specific reason" au and it doesn't really have much plot yet, but i just like drawing cute turtle scenarios (a lot of the Leo's snoozing since they deserve a nap) or sometimes I'll draw some angst, (I'm very into angst, but I'm bad at drawing it lol)

Keep in mind that I've been very inspired by other creators and their au's when i created this one, most of it is cherry picked from others creations but i still like it. Even if some very well thought out and emotional concepts have been plucked and haphazardly shoved into my mess of an au, i just want to avoid as much confusion as possible by writing this long ass post ngl

I've decided to let people ask me things now. However, if you have any art requests whatsoever, just know that i only draw when I'm inspired and really, REALLY feel like it! I do still appreciate asks about my au if you're interested, though! (Art requests that i don't draw or can't draw might be saved for later and drawn in the future, btw. though it's not guaranteed)

If you couldn't already tell, i write a lot! I love describing things and telling some stories with drawings, so be prepared for some wordy and long ass posts, lol!

Hello! My names Violet and I’d like a matchup for the 2012 tmnt brothers please! If not just ignore this lol

I’m 5’2 ½, I’m hourglass shaped with a lil chub so I wear baggier clothes and really prefur being covered up. I have shoulder length brown curly/wavy hair and Hazel eyes that appear brown but in the sun look gold and green (I really like my eyes lol) I typically war sneakers of some sort or work boots because I’m a busy person and even on my down time I’m moving so I don’t have time to let my feet hurt from heels n such even though I love dressing up.

I’m intelligent and usually always reading something, I can be very quiet but can make good conversation. I’m an INFJ so I’m very in tune to others around me. I’m extremely loyal to a fault and would do absolutely anything to the person I give my loyalty to. I love to bake and cook and even like to clean when I’m able to listen to music, cleaning is calming for me and lets me unwind with out feeling like I should be doing something. I’m the eldest daughter of six siblings so I have my fair share of responsibility and I take it in stride. I’m always helping and taking care of someone, I love that part of my responsibility because I’m a very motherly person. I have strong maternal instincts which leads me to befriend people who could be considered outcasts.

I can also be very stubborn and I struggle with depression, and anxiety. I have trust and abandonment issues which leads me to follow people around and be a bit clingy. I have a strong imagination which pulls me inside my own head a lot. I tend to be more involved with whats going on inside then whats happening in real life.

I really look for someone who has a sense of loyalty like my own, someone who would be ok with me being around a lot and being a bit clingy. I also want someone who has a sense of humor to: 1, help me out of depressive episodes, and 2, banter with me, I can be slightly sarcastic and love some good banter. I also want someone kind and empathetic, to match my own motherly instincts

I dislike people who are rude and mean for no reason and who are constantly looking for a fight. A big deal breaker for me is someone telling me what to do and not letting me make my own choices. I need someone to support me, not control me.

My hobbies are: Reading, Writing, listening to music, watching game plays (Mainly horror like fnaf), watching some tv mainly historical fiction or horror, art, like drawing, watercolors, that stuff, I also adore the forest and space so I’m always researching some plant or planet. I’m taking forensic science and psychology in school right now so whoever I get better be ready to listen to me rant about not only all of this but also new things I’ve learned lol

You were walking back to your house from the library with a fresh stack of books that looked interesting.

It was getting darker out as the sun began to set and night began and an unsettling quite set in for the usually noisy city of New York

As you walked though a quite steer you heard something, it was muffled but sounded like voices.

Against your better judgment you crept closer to the voices only to see what you thought was green, three fingered, turtle aliens.

They were talking about a recent robbery by the local gang “ the purple dragons”

You had crept a little to close and you slipped on a peice of loose paper falling flat in front of the massive creatures.

In an attempt to get up quickly to hit your head on the back of a pole that was sticking out of the dumpster.

Que Donnie hurriedly walking over to you to see what damage had been done, lucky for you not much you were just kinda out of it. The fists thing you noticed aside from him being not human were his beautiful eyes, the ones that looked almost identical to yours.

You are so out of it that you just said “ you have beautiful eyes” as he checked your pulse.

You were fine but had to promise that you would keep them a secret.

You had no problem with this as the turtles began to come around more often to see you, and after a few weeks of gaining trust,you were introduced to spinster and the lair.

After your eye comment, you and Donnie became almost instant friends and you bonded over your shared thirst for knowledge and your intellects.

He loves seeing what you read so he can get new books for you and suggest books that he thinks you would like.

Wants you to cook for him since you have an interest in it, he also likes to listen to you about your many skills.

Thinks your amazing for being able to have so many skills and he fully loves that you like horrer games( he waters a lot of game play through.

Loves listing to you rant about what you passionate about, staters learning more about phycology even though he is also pretty in tune with people as well.

When he developed feeelings, it’s going to be an entire thing.

He starts giving more information on plants, space and he even started to save cool documentaries he thinks your going to like

When he confessed to you it’s going to be so sweet and messy, he expressed that he really only liked you and he would remain loyal till the end.

When you started dating he started rotting to work up your confidence and wanted to help on your anxiety and depression episodes.

Knows how to help and did a bit of extra research just in case.

He wanted to help you I all the ways!

I was thinking, the turtles have the turtle pile, and we saw how the twins sleep together... but all usagis have a usagi pile? maybe in winter?

I have questions for the comic too, the ninja who marked Yuichi said "I smell" not see, why?.. and just in the next panel "jolt" ...but maybe is spoiler, so not problem if you can't explain

Usagi Pile! That’s right. Please take note of how “beds” are actually more like bean bags ;) It’s flexible, it’s circular, and there’s more surface area the more you put weight on it, so it fits more than it seems. Some have fluffy tops, some are just normal, and others might be fluffy all over— depends on how they like it, I suppose.

The twins grew up mostly alone with just the two of them and have each other’s backs at all times, so there isn’t a night they aren’t sleeping on each other. Yuichi snores the loudest and lays in the weirdest positions, while Shuji manages to sleep through a thunderstorm, so they’re kind of perfect for each other… Yui also knows exactly how to wake Shuji up if he needs a quick response from his brother, so he technically just lets Shuji sleep in. When they start living with Mizuki it causes a small, teeny tiny problem…

When Miyamoto is born, his parents are more than willing to pile. Yuichi joins in and Mizu can’t even protest, he’s related so he deserves it, and still living with them so he might as well. It starts to be more normal to sleep in 4 since Miyamoto is too young to be left alone. Once he’s old enough to have his own bed, they don’t pile as much except for winter or when he has a nightmare. Yuichi, at this point, learned to sleep by himself, so he doesn’t bother Mizu or his brother anymore. He might bother Miya sometimes, in Yuichi fashion. “Ohhh, My Nephew, I can't sleep~!” He would see if Miyamoto was awake. No response? Yuichi just ever so slightly worms himself over to the bed and lays on one end of it. There was a response? Yuichi would bellyflop onto Miya’s bed, which obviously gives Mizuki a heart attack if she heard about it, but it’s funny for the other two. Then they goof off, Yuichi would have done his job for the day, and they either sleep like that or he goes back to his room if Miya requests privacy.

Sorry, that was already so long and there’s still another part to your ask lol..

Dear Bunnon... errmmmm can you see their eyes ? ? I can't ... maybe it's just me but a giant metal plate over the entire half of the head might hinder vision just a little bit ! maybe you see something I don't, though.... or smell... (I drew this on my phone forgive me, my hand wants to rest but I wanted to draw anyway) In all seriousness though, yeah, they might be a little bit blind ! Also note the wording in this panel hmhm

"HAS AN HEIR." It's singular. The Ninja is actually.. unaware of Shuji's presence. Oh, and they're a lynx! Might make them a tag, they're really interesting to draw. I won't tag them by name since that would be a spoiler, but maybe #Lynx or #NNC Lynx or something would work? ionno Andddd, well, I suppose it would be a spoiler, yes... Perhaps there is meaning to this "JOLT" ? Can anyone tell for sure? Anyone know why they seemingly were .. shocked, into leaving the Usagis alone? Hmm.

ROTTMNT FUTURE AU

Hello hi yes I am here with another RoTTMNT au that I will not draw for but instead write a fic for. Probably. Honestly I have no idea what Imma do with it I mean I do HAVE art for it but it's mainly just an art of my oc that is in it lol

Anyways it takes place like... MANY YEARS after the movie. Like 20 or so- so the turtles are now adults.

Turtles split up and stuff. Yokai are in surface society, not completely accepted but some humans aren't accepted in society either-

ANYWAYS:

Donnie has a daughter {my oc Kiddo} and owns his own tech company

Leo travels around, helping people when he can and is a vigilante no one can catch because portals go brrr

Raph remained in New York and uses the sewers for Yokai that want to learn how to defend themselves, and he also lets Leo hide out if they have to.

Mikey owns restaurants and he gives the money to people in need.

Casey Jr is a traveler that often sends things to the turtles.

Splinter and Draxum are an old married couple that live in the same apartments as Warren and Hypno.

April owns a news station that gives unbiased information about random things. She bought a lot of stuff from Donnie to protect her news station because some people really don't want news to get out.

Cassandra works with Raph, though the two get into silly little arguments. She mauls {literally} people that try to destroy April's news station.

Sunita works with April, but she mainly gets pictures for the news because she can hide in plain sight.

I shall talk more about it later if people are interested!
