I love the kiss mechanic in dragon age origins because i basically just used it as a display of dominance during tense situations or in front of people that i knew would feel uncomfortable. being able to make out at anytime no questions asked is the best lmao

summary - this is based on this anime called ‘attack on titan’ to summarise, the reader wants to go on an expedition [killing titans outside the walls] but minho being your superior says otherwise. you go on ignoring him for 7 days, but what would possibly happen, right?

note - i imagined levi and minho together and got this idea to switch it up a bit :>

You and Minho been best friends since you guys were just 5 years old. He deeply cares for you and loves you but he doesn't confess nor show it because he's afraid of rejection. He's only soft towards you, but to others, he's a cold ass man

He deeply cares for you since you are his host. So he doesn't want you to go on missions, even though you both are the Captains of the Scout Regiment

“For the last time (y/n) , you are not going on that damn mission.” He says scribbling something down on his notepad.

“i will go wherever i wish to” i get up from the couch, which i placed in his office as there was literally no place for me to sit.

Minho rolls his eyes, “No (y/n), you're NOT going on that mission and that's final.” he looks up and glares at me,

“i am a fucking captain and have a squad too Minho! you can’t just tell me ‘no you cant go’ and i’ll listen to you, be practical” i glared back,

He raises his voice, “You're under my order and I am not letting you go on this mission where you might get killed when we can send another squad instead.” i shake my head in disagreement,

“do you not trust me? do you think im not good enough for the job or can’t handle it? Minho im called the slayer for a reason!” i put my point on the table,

“I DO trust you (y/n) however, I can't just let you go on that mission when we both are Captains. Send someone else to complete that mission, I order you as your Captain to send someone else.” He's still holding his calm attitude, but i was furious,

“i hate you” i spat, “You can hate me all you want, However, you're still sending another squad for the mission. This is my final decision (y/n), do not argue and send someone else.”

“i will not fucking talk to you for years” i scoff looking out of the window,

“You can ignore me for years (y/n), however, YOU'RE STILL SENDING SOMEONE ELSE TO COMPLETE THE MISSION!”

You ignoring him for 7 whole days was hard on Minho since you're his best friend, he's been worried to death but he didn't show it. On the 7th day, Minho knocks on your door and speaks

"(y/n)..?" he called out my name quietly,

“i’m sleeping” i replied,

“(y/n), I know you're not sleeping.. Open the door..” he groaned,

“i’m sleeping, go away” i grumbled,

He bangs on the door and his voice turns stern, "(y/n), Open the freaking door!"

i ignore,

“This is the last time I'm asking you (y/n), OPEN THAT GOD DAMN DOOR OR I'LL BREAK IT DOWN!”

“IM NOT OPENING ANY GOD DAMM DOORS” i shouted back, this seemed like a kids fight, what were we even doing?

"I'VE HAD ENOUGH, (Y/N)" He breaks your door down barges in,

"We're gonna talk." he huffs,

“i’m mad at you” you groan, "And I'm mad at you too, now sit on the couch." he motions his hand towards the couch, “no.” you look away,

He picks you up and puts you on the couch, “Now sit there and listen to me.” he looks dead in your eyes, "Do you even know why I'm mad at you (y/n)? You ignored me for a whole week and you didn't even bother to talk to me!" He shouts, “because i am mad at you!” i shout back, "BUT WHY ARE YOU MAD AT ME? TELL ME ALREADY OR ELSE I'LL KEEP SHOUTING." he looked so cute right now,

“YOU DIDNT LET ME GO YOURE SO ANNOYING ALWAYS FUCKING CONTROLLING AND—” minho cuts you off with a kiss,

"You didn't had to ignore me for a whole week and make me worried to death just because I didn't let you go on the mission. I didn't let you go on the mission for your own safety and well because I'm in charge. I was worried to death (y/n).. Why do you have to be so god damn dramatic!? I can't ever talk to you about serious stuff without you getting so mad at me." He says, still kissing you,

"Do you even know how scared I was? I thought you'd been in danger or something and that you might've been hurt. If you were hurt and I didn't even know about it, I wouldn't have forgiven myself ever so do not make me concerned. I don't want anything to happen to you, I don't want you to get into any danger." He says, hugging you tightly while kissing you,

"Promise me you won't get annoyed if I order you to do something, I only care for you and your safety." He says still hugging you while kissing you.

"Do you swear (y/n)? DO YOU SWEAR TO NOT GET ANNOYED IF I ORDER YOU? SAY IT!" *His voice raises at first but he tones it down to a calm tone after you promise,

"That's right you won't get annoyed, now get closer to me. I wanna feel your skin and your breath. Cuddle me tight (y/n).." His voice breaks the calm tone as he tries to get closer to (y/n) to feel her body.

“minho.." you say in a soft tone, "Yes (y/n)?" Minho, still holding you close to him, says in the same soft tone as you.

"I love you, I'm so sorry that I made you concerned" still in a soft tone, while still being held close to him.

"Thank you, I love you too. Just don't get annoyed when I order you to do something. I'm only concerned about your safety, that's it." *He says, with a kiss.

note - omg this was so random, i was on my way to my class while writing this, i wrote it for fun loll. COMPLETELY unhinged 😦 please drop suggestions!!

i am sitting in the car, waiting for my hair appointment to begin.

Absorbed in sappy tumblr posts, the radio playing from my stereo.

The windows are rolled up as a precaution, a wall against judgement from my subpar music taste.

then, someone waves. i only see their shadow in my peripheral; a quick flicker.

when i look up no one is there.

instead, a tree waves in the wind— dead leaves still dangle from her branches. They’re a season too late.

with no person to concern me i return to my phone and continue doom scrolling, and i see someone in my peripheral again.

the tree waggles, a desperate plea that someone; maybe me, would come sit against her trunk, begin a piece of art or maybe read a book. one day someone would carve names into the trunk and she would become more than a sidewalk ornament.

instead, my hair appointment begins and i leave the car. the tree still sways, looking out at a pavemented wasteland, and wonders how long she has left, when she’ll be next.
