So you’re a court jester correct? Or something along the lines of a court jester? That sounds fascinating! What is it like? (And as a bonus: Do you have a favorite member of the Dux?)

“Precisely! I act as a form of entertainment for the Dux, the Rectrix (his wife), and whatever guests they may have, along with a number of other clowns who I perform with. Our performances range from plays to pantomiming to stand-up to the simple act of clowning, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. If the exclusive audience has a request, we will gladly fulfill it, even if it means getting hurt. It’s our job.

As for your second question, the Dux isn’t a court - he is a single person. But I’ll tell you my favorite trait about him - he is extremely self righteous and confident in his abilities to govern. That is all I can say.”

If you were allowed outside what places would you be allowed to visit?

“What a nice question! Hm.. I’d love to visit Entesque and observe the houses and views it’s oh-so famous for, and at some point perhaps go out of state and watch plays in other cities. Or I’d simply travel all of Amabalia from head to toe, and then do that again and again until it’s been memorized. Past memories are what keep me the most occupied in the citadel, and as much as I’d like to make new ones, receiving more than a a day or two off sounds like a distant dream.”

What is a rabbit hood?

“I think the concept of animals hoods used in society is only present in where I’m from (as far as I know), so I’ll give a little background; animal hoods are used to measure how many people someone has murdered, specifically how many qualified have killed the non-qualified. People need at least 20 bodies to fit in to qualify. I, having killed about 40 non-qualifiers, am up to being a rabbit hood. If that amount were to increase, my hood status would change. Hopefully that’s sensical sounding enough!”
