Mycroft -

"We don't know as much about Mycroft canonically, except that he makes a club whose whole premise is parallel play with talking forbidden, and that he is more than willing to let someone he barely knows start MI6 with the promise to deal with the socializing. Also that he is THE organization behind the British Government. As in, he serves as a planner and God knows what else. He tracks more in his head than a spreadsheet. He's adorkable too, he shoots his brother in the head with a paint gun to get his attention and tell him to beware of women, and then starts infodumping about the origins of the gun and all the cool stuff it can do. And he is truly kind, sending letters to Albert in jail and generally being really good at supporting his team, even if he hates to talk."

Londrekia -

"When it comes to things that don't interest him at all, Londrekia acts aloof and uncaring, but if something or someone catches his attention, he will immediately gain an interest, often not taking personal space into consideration. He's very stubborn and will often disobey orders from his organization if they don't match his sense of justice. Also his special ability is cryomancy and he makes a lot of ice puns that counts for something right."

Hikaru -

"Hikaru is one of the main characters in a manga explicitly about autism, and because we get to see him from birth to a young age, we get a good sense of how autism manifests in young children, which is pretty rare in Japanese media. To be honest I kinda felt like I ought to submit him because I read this manga when I was young and quite liked it, even though he's not the type of character who will make it far in this kind of tournament."

Raidou -

"a lot of the comedy from the show comes from him completely misunderstanding the other lead (who is also very autistic coded) and doing absolutely insane wacky things because he thinks that's what she wants to do. there's also an entire episode where him and the other lead get obsessed with fidget spinners."

Takt -

"Has a special interest in music and does reckless things because of it."

Asuka -

"to actually play him (he's a character in a fighting game), you have to play a card game (the most autistic game genre) while avoiding confrontation (he will die). he talks about observing people and collecting data in a way that really just seems autistic too? idk i think he's wonderful."

"He’s like if an emo programmer boy was also completely unhinged and also had a tragic backstory."

Soujuurou -

"My man grew up in the woods, has never seen a telephone in his life. Does not understand a single thing that's going on around him at all times and just thinks "well this must be what the city is like". Doesn't understand how to talk to other people, doesn't understand when other people are trying to make fun of him. He's doing his best to make ends meet but he specifically has a hard time with the unspoken rules of society no one ever taught him."

LONDREKIA LIGHT from UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH

JUSTIFICATION:

"The same wish as maidens, for a quiet happiness" - her bio on the character select screen.

without getting too deep into the worldbuilding details she was raised in an all-male investigation organization called Ritter Schild that splintered off from the all-female monster-fighting organization Licht Kreis who are considered superior to them, RS takes missions that LK doesn't want to bother with and the groups have a strained relationship.

Londrekia has built an identity as the prodigy of RS who will prove their worth to LK by defeating their strongest member Wagner. she sometimes questions the motives of her superiors but remains loyal to them because her life in RS is the only life she's ever known, as she was raised from birth in them. in the chronicle mode chapter she appears in, she says the only women she's met before Lex have been LK executors who look down on RS. but despite this and the groups' rivalries Londrekia is said to have similar ideals to LK and wants the two groups to be at peace.

in the 2nd game one of her win quotes against characters who are normal students shows that she wishes she could have lived a 'normal life' instead of being raised from birth in an (all male) organization.

given the gendered aspects of the two organizations i can't help but read her as an egg whose identity has been shaped around being a 'man' (RS member) but still wants what women (LK) have, yet has had so little exposure to being/being around women that she cant even begin to realize this." - Anonymous

Whatre your thoughts on londrekia light of under night in-birth fame

He's my second favourite character in the whole game right behind Merkava!

I'm sure it's very telling of me when I mention Merkava in the same sentence as Londrekia, but yes he's my second fav because Merkava's chronicles mode is my favourite part of the story. He's got a timid but sweet personality, his dialogue and voice acting is excellent, his visual design and theme music is top-notch, and he's my other main in-game besides Merkava (I know, I'm predictable <3).

I'm very fond of him for all these reasons and really want him to have his very own chronicles mode should a sequel for UNIB come out.

I was wondering if I could put in a request for wagner (unib) with a affectionate and caring s/o. (Please and thank you. I'm happy to see more people who know about unib.)

You are more than welcome to send in as much Wagner as you want. Hell, send in as much UNIB as you want! I love to write for them!

Getting back on track, I actually quite like Wagner as both a character and from a gameplay perspective though Gordeau is my main man. To paraphrase Bleach Abridged “For The Next 99 Seconds Neutral Is My Bitch!”

But that aside...

YOUR WISH IS MY COMMAND!

The most accurate way to describe someone like Wagner at first glance without using any expletives is… Stubborn, but her heart is in the right place, even if she is a bit harsh at times.

Wagner lived a cold life, rather ironic all things considered.

She was raised to be a weapon for the Licht Kreis from birth.

Her aloof nature and her straight to the point way of doing things also doesn’t help.

She is a “Quickest way to any point is a straight line” type of person after all.

As such, most people give her a wide berth.

Then you came along.

Someone who was decidedly NOT like anyone else Wagner had met in her life.

You weren’t afraid of her.

Her snide remarks didn’t bother you.

And her tendency to lash out when she was confused was something you accepted as a part of her.

Because of this she called you *her* fool.

You were special like that.

A small, searingly hot flame in her cold life.

You touched her without fear of burning.

You made her laugh without fear of her flames taking you.

You talked to her and treated her with kindness unmeasured that she had never received before.

And soon, because of that, whenever she was around you, a heat began to reach her.

A heat quite different from her flames.

A heat that made her infinitely warmer.

A heat which she only ever felt upon her face.

It took a long while to realize what that heat was.

And when she did?

It was a spectacle for the ages.

A frazzled Wagner having gone through a very concerning revelation, Fire shooting everywhere, the branch of the Licht Kreis she was in burning down around her, Orie and Londrekia running around like mad to put the flames out

It was a very interesting night.

It was also a very interesting morning for you, seeing Wagner following you in an almost comically bad fashion.

Eventually though, Wagner did say something.

In a very Wagner way.

But also, in a way that was quite different, a bit kinder and also…

A bit scared.

To Wagner you were a light of incomparable power and beauty.

Wagner didn’t want to lose that.

But… she had to shoot her shot, what she felt for you was too big to hold in.

Too powerful.

Too hot.

Like a ball of molten metal.
