i LOVE the headcanon of the different life series taking place in different seasons, and i especially love last life taking place during winter. something about having to trek through the snow and freezing cold alone, being practically hunted by the boogeyman. wowww.

#tlt #the locked tomb #my art #precanon griddlehark dynamic is SO funny. the way they are just no-holds-barred absolutely AWFUL to each other.#the fact that harrow made fun of gideon for saying 'i love you' over her dead mother's grave so gideon nearly choked her to death #and then when gideon recalls this story in gtn she's just like 'yeah lol we were wild kids'#also remember when gideon responded to harrow being kind of bossy with 'your parents must have been so relieved to die' like #imagine saying that knowing full well her parents killed themselves in front of her when she was ten!!!! insane!!#there's no sense of going 'too far' between them. they casually hit what would be considered by most ppl to be 'too far' and then keep going #anyway i don't usually go in for characters-being-kids-together stuff but i will admit that childhood gid+harrow #following each other around absolutely terrorizing each other because they're desperate for each other's attention but also full of #hatred and vitriol #does compel me #like...2 very lonely very traumatized children with only each other for company. what will they do? #this is what I think anyways #my art #dc #dc comics #clark kent #superman #bruce wayne #batman #wonder woman #diana of themiscyra #diana prince #dc trinity #you could honestly argue that any of these apply to all of them but #I think they most strongly apply to these pairings #like Bruce is also pretty lonely but Diana and Clark’s detachment from their homes specifically #is a consistent weakness for them #kryptonite literally being the shattered remains of Clark’s world and any threats or changes to themyscira being what always gets #an emotional reaction out of Diana in fights… they both have homes they’re unable to return to #and Diana is also pretty bad at opening up to people but only because she isn’t aware she has any problems to begin with #Bruce and Clark at least somewhat know when they have an issue. and then tell nobody anyways #Diana and Bruce ohh their parallels make me crazy #their incredible devotion to being a protector that they get so absorbed in they can’t see themselves as anything outside of it?? crazy #I think Clark and Diana also have a shared complicated relationship to their public idolization but I couldn’t #fit that into a concise sentence #I care for them so deeply. None of them are well #sorry for changing the text on this three times

#my art #doodles #smash-chu's art #not having the luxury of being able to just drive and see someone i know and love #having all my human connection come from digital screens when not visiting my family once or twice a year #it makes your heart sink down into a place that is hard to get out of #a place of acceptance that i will just have to live with being lonely #i love my friends #i just wish they weren't so spread out away from me #in a way i was left back here cause i was the only one that didn't move back to their parents #and now i struggle alone being comforted via keeping in touch online #but it can never replace seeing face to face #getting to be right there next to someone #touch starved is a understatement #but for now that is just how it has to be #anyways #my period is frying my brain making every feeling feel more intense so i feel super fucking alone right now #it's fine it'll go back to being numb soon enough #but sometimes you just need to let stuff out
