@183degreesbelowzero submitted: really small and green! ([removed]) also a flat-tailed house gecko (at least that's what seek gave me) as an honorary bug, but I'm pretty sure it eats bugs too.
Two cute dudes! The first looks like a long-legged fly. And the gecko can absolutely be an honorary bug :)

Exited that a beneficial insect has been spotted inside our pesticide free greenhouse.
This long-legged fly feeds on a variety of small, soft-bodied arthropods, including other flies, thrips, aphids, spider mites, springtails, leafhoppers, whiteflies, small caterpillars, and even termites.
It came in on its own and had a mate yesterday that I did not spot today.

Okay so I gotta know.
From left to right we have A- The Crane Fly, B- The Cellar Spider, and C- The Harvestmen
Please feel free to add in the tags any other colloquial names you have for these guys, and where you’re from/grew up—saw a poll on here specifically about the crane fly but wanted to know if there was a big difference in what peoples image of a daddy long legs is.

@berrypeacherine submitted: A cute friend I saw on my walk to work the other day!
And here are some friends who visited my garden in PA (eastern USA) last summer. Would love to know who the two fly-like friends are!
Thanks for your contagious enthusiasm- I've always loved bugs, but I love them more now! And I'm much better with spiders and centipedes than I used to be. 🧡
A lovely bunch of fellows! I used to be afraid of spiders and centipedes too but life is so much better when everything is a friend :)) The green pal is a long-legged fly in the genus Condylostylus, likely Condylostylus patibulatus. The other fly is a swift feather-legged fly, Trichopoda pennipes.
