Hey Kit just wanted to say I love your fic titles! Do you have a favourite or one you’re most proud of?

aww thank you!! the fic titles of mine i'm most proud of are probably the ones that connect most with the material of the fic in a sort of tongue-in-cheek way

off the top of my head, here's a few examples:

use my body to break your fall (yk, cause obi-wan's a fallen jedi and anakin is being paid to have sex with him lol)

come on baby, sweep me off my feet (yk, cause hot air balloons fly but it's also just a cutesy lil title for a cutesy lil fic)

burn every bridge but please leave me a boat (yk, cause obi-wan sorta leaves the order aka burning that bridge but master skywalker says no thanks get back here and obi-wan says yes master)

Today in Salty Pirate Adventures, I teamed up with a spouse to change holiday theming in the kitchen and dining room. We finally ate Thanksgiving dinner, only 45 hours late. We then set forth on

Project: Move The Loot!

As part of the National Clean Your Home Month project, we are moving our off-site storage away from the place we have used for a decade. The new place is still about ten minutes away, but:

it's cheaper by about a hundred dollars a month

it has better site security

access is controlled through three layers of identifying the self to get past the obstacle, so any member of the family should be able to access as needed (at the prior place, we had one of those basic padlocks that can be picked with a bump key or a couple of tools, and we had to drive through a gate that did not always close properly)

As of quitting time tonight, we have more than a third of our loot moved. Maybe as much as half.

We also have marked some things as likely to be tossed out in early 2024. More stuff will probably get donated.

I feel the temptation to sort now, of course. While I am looking at it. This is the Dark Side of the Force talking: move everything now, play Keep/Donate/Incinerate at an entirely separate time.

Thank you to all the folks who reblogged the energy gifting thing from me earlier. I had more tasks to handle when I got home; I might have only done half the work on "Project: Move The Loot!", but I remembered that there are kind Internet Strangers who are rooting for me.
