You Really Got Me - Virgin!Eddie x FemBestfriend! Reader
Tumblr media
-----
18+ MINORS DNI. SPICY FIC!
-----
I hope you enjoy~
-----
Honestly speaking, real honest, this wasn't how you imagined you'd be spending your Friday night. Not at some lousy party, not in the bathroom at some lousy party. Not with your hand gently squeezing the rock-hard cock of one Eddie Munson, at some lousy party.
Your friend. Your well-known friend. Eddie Munson. Jesus fuck, you would have missed out on this if you hadn't picked up the phone.
Eddie's jeans and boxers barely pulled down past his balls, his pink tip was already leaking a pretty pearl of pre-cum. You licked your lips, you wanted nothing more than to take him in your trained mouth but you were still partially recovering from the words that had blurted out his mouth moments before.
"I'm a virgin-" he had yelped when you had suggested he fuck you over the sink. A little drunk but more conscious by the moment after those words. You were stunned, you didn't believe him until now, not until you were watching him unfold at your very touch. And you had just started.
He had gotten hard. Rock-fucking-hard at your little skin-tight outfit. It hugged you just right.
He had always been so flirty with you in the most subtle and sexily smooth way that it had never, ever, occurred to you that he'd never fucked anyone before. Perhaps, late at night, in the early hours, he practiced what he'd say, imagine the things he'd do to you, how he would do those things. Perfected them. Just so he could tell you all those flirty things without falling apart. The very thought had you squeezing your thighs together as you kneeled below him.
"You okay down there, Sweetheart...?" His voice was worried, a little out of breath but mostly quiet. A sharp inhale was audible as you looked to meet his gaze, you nodded quickly and let your features soften as your hand slid down to the base of cock, inching forward a little to where you knew he could feel your breaths on his sensitive tip.
"Just relax Eddie, I'll be gentle. Slow. If you wanna stop just tell me" you reassured the worried man whose fear lingered in his eyes. You made no other movements until you got approval which came in the form of nodding. You were rather impatient in this moment but you didn't want Eddie to be uncomfortable in any way.
Despite the painfully loud music and the smell of cheap alcohol and cigarettes, you could push that from your mind while you were on your knees for a guy you've had a crush on for the last year. Sort of. You'd always found him attractive but didn't know you had feelings for him. You'd never dated, never cared for guys but sure you'd hooked up with people. That was about it.
You watched as Eddie braced himself, holding onto the sink behind him for support as the flat of your tongue oh-so-gently glided over his tip, finally catching the pre-cum that had caught your attention. Your eyes barely left Eddie's face, you were desperate to see his reaction and it didn't disappoint, his eyes were closed, his eyebrows knitted together, and his jaw clamped shut as a tiny, needy whimper slipped out. You could see how his hands were tightly clutching the edge of the sink as you swirled your tongue, the clink of his rings against the ceramic was barely noticeable but still, the sound drew your attention to how his ring-covered fingers would feel against your skin. Nipping your thighs as he dragged his hands down to part your legs. You were becoming lost in your thoughts. In your fantasies. A hand brought you back to your current actions, his hand. Clutching your hair so gently, it seemed he was restraining from being too rough.
You slowly, tauntingly, took all of him and let him sit in the deepest part of your throat for a moment before you pulled all the way off him, his throbbing cock secured by your hand. Eddie's shy voice turned into a groan, clearly disliking the sudden lack of contact as his tip leaned against your bottom lip.
"Come on, eds. Don't tell me your close already? I've just started" You teased softly, giving his thigh a squeeze with your free hand. He managed to get out an answer, just barely.
"I can't help it. It's not like anyone has done this-" he interrupted himself with part gasp part groan as you locked your lips onto his cock again, taking all of him only to pull almost all the way off and repeated it a few times, just to see him melt, to see that pathetic expression that made your insides twist. His ragged breathing was loud to your ears, you could just tell he was inching closer, practically begging you as his grip on your hair tightened, slightly pushing your head toward him though you didn't submit to his wants.
You pulled off and wiped your mouth as you moved to stand, purposefully pressing your body against Eddie's as you moved up from the ground just to make sure your clothes rubbed against Eddie's dick.
"Eddie, don't force someone onto your cock. Got it? I'm in control here. Perhaps I should just edge you some more and make you wait?" You asked as your lips met his neck, nipping at his skin while your hand slid down between your two bodies just to slowly stroke the man's cock, keeping him somewhat entertained while you waited for a response. A quick shake of his head confirmed that he wasn't in the mood to keep waiting.
"Good boy~" you smirked
Your hand moved faster, slowly but surely picking up your pace though you slowed as you knelt again quickly taking him into your mouth again as you started to feel his cock twitch, you used your mouth to finish the job as you held onto his thigh to stabilise yourself while your free hand cupped his balls, giving them a gentle squeeze which earned a load moan, at this point the people outside could surely hear the moans. The slurping noises. The erotic, dirty noises.
Despite your earlier warning Eddie pulled you into him by your hair, your nose pressed firming into his messy bush. A loud moan not restrained released from the depths of Eddie's chest, his head flung back as his curls fell out of the way of his neck, revealing his hickies but only you had noticed how Steve had flung the door open and stood shocked to see the scene, just as you felt Eddie's seed slid down your throat.

Let's talk about this and patterns in the show, shaw we?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Okay, so Buck wearing green here is stressing me out now. I have a really long meta in Buck and green and red clothing (you can read it here), but I'll explain the green side of the point here if you don't want to read that. Basically, Buck wears a lot of red, enough for it to be a stable color for him, and red's complementary color is green. He's usually on the reds, pinks, and oranges.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The point of a complementary color, is to create contrast, and they used green on Buck in the coma world, so we would feel like something is wrong even if we can't quite figure out why.
Tumblr media
They made a lot of choices about his wardrobe in the coma dream that just looked weird, up to getting him black vans instead of the usual white hightops, and that creates a contrast with the usual Buck that's unsettling.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Why is that relevant? Well, green is his something is wrong color. The coma world being the most blatant example because that sweater is green, BUT he wears green during breakups and when he's doing misguided stupid shit in the name of love. The breakup with Ali, the breakup with Taylor, and I will throw in the graveyard as a breakup with Eddie, because that's the feel of the scene and he's wearing green, but technically he's just being an idiot about love.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He's also wearing green when he takes Red to see Cindy, subsequently when he talks to Maddie about how it feels to always be left, when he's hiding at Eddie's place because he doesn't want to confront Taylor because that would lead to them breaking up and he's not there yet, and when he is trying to convince himself Abby is coming back (this last one really confused me but I did color picked a palette out of that shirt and that's green).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
But if we established enough of a pattern to say he does misguided shit when it comes to love, like inserting himself in Red's love life, saying this random woman he met 5 minutes ago really sees him, trying to convince himself the women who fled the country is coming back to him, then Buck wearing green with Eddie is worrying.
Because if you look at the conversations they have in the firehouse, they are usually close to the point but still need something else to truly fix the situation, they hiding something or holding on to something they shouldn't, and it goes from the first fight at the gym with the way Buck is making his insecurities about Eddie and not really working through what's really bothering him, after the lawsuit, they do clear the air but Eddie is still hiding the whole fighting thing and the fighting thing actually makes Eddie flinch away from Buck, when they are talking after the dinner with Buck's parents, Eddie is trying to have a conversation but Buck wants to hold on to anger, when they are talking about the panic attacks, Eddie shuts Buck out because he doesn't want to admit Buck is right yet, and when they are talking about Chris having nightmares, Eddie is fully taking the blame for Chris missing Shannon, even if that's something completely out of his control and that eventually even leads to Eddie quitting and the thought process starts there.
So they always involve one of them wanting to have a conversation but the other not being fully ready to be honest about everything so they are talking but they are not on the same wavelength. They also always end with one of them walking out.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I have a really long meta about the framing in a lot of their big conversations (you can read it here if you want all the thoughts), but basically if they are on the same level, as they are both sitting down they are usually talking about Eddie.
Tumblr media
Because when they are talking about Buck, Eddie is usually standing up and Buck is looking up at him. (I have a meta on the looking-up thing if you feel like reading more thoughts on that)
Tumblr media
And if they are discussing their relationship, they are face to face.
Tumblr media
Random add on, if they are talking about Chris, they are usually sitting side by side on the same surface in a sense, yes I'm counting the counter as one surface lol
Tumblr media
So signs point to the new stills being Buck forcing Eddie to talk about something he's not ready to talk about. But when you add the green while Eddie is not wearing blue, so the green is not about the blue and green thing, (I have a meta on the blue and green thing in general and it applied to buddie too that one is truly unhinged tho), and the way talks at the station mean holding on to something they shouldn't and the still of Eddie talking to Bobby, this conversation can very easily be a moment of tension.
AND, I know I'm not the only one who saw those stills and immediately thought about the panic attacks conversation, BUT, stay with me because now I'm reaching, the graveyard conversation tries to call back to the dumb luck conversation (I also have a meta on the graveyard that touches on that if you want thoughts)
Tumblr media
But basically, similar outfits and angles, locations we never saw before and probably will never see again. But, while the equine therapy talk works to give Eddie hope and bring them closer together, the cemetery has the exact opposite effect. It creates space between them.
If we consider this and the way it seems to be calling back to a conversation that led Eddie to do the right thing about Ana, they could very much be calling back to that just to do the opposite and having Eddie refuse to listen to Buck for whatever reason.
Because one thing about the dumb luck conversation is also the movement, they are walking, the camera is moving, the conversation is moving and they are making progress, something we don't feel in the cemetery because they are in the same place, the conversation is not leading them anywhere besides away from each other.
And the conversation about the panic attacks that happen while Buck corners Eddie while Eddie is trying to sleep, so Eddie will be in a more relaxed state than when Buck is walking in wearing civilian clothes and Eddie is so deep in his workout he's glistening with sweat, so Buck is walking in on Eddie with a completely different energy. And assuming conflict to the point Buck feels the need to corner him in the gym? That means fight.
This is a very long way to say divorced era 2.0 is upon us lol basically they are arguing and it's about Eddie refusing to listen to Buck about something. Maybe even love related.
If you reached this I love you 🫶
If you liked my brand of crazy, you can find all my metas here.

Developmental Achievement (A Store Manager Verse Story - Steve Harrington/Reader)
Tumblr media
Previous Part: Incremental Planning
Pairing: Steve Harrington x HawkTheaterManager!Reader
Summary: Steve messed up and now he needs to fix things if he wants to win you back, hopefully for good.
Warnings/Themes: AU where the Upside Down doesn't terrorize Hawkins. November through January 1986, Steve and Robin work at Scoops (OR DO THEY?), Reader works at The Hawk Theater (formerly at Dippin' Dots AND Wicks and Sticks; you job hop...it's a thing), Relationship Break, Hopeless [Romantic] Steve, Tie in with the Store Manager Verse
Note: So this is the end of our Steve saga of the SMVerse, kind of wrapped up in a neat little bow. Is it the best? Probably not, but it's silly and corny and cheesy and I needed all of those things yesterday and instead of RELEGATING IT TO MY FIRST FAVE...I'll inflict it upon Stevie. Tagging @dr-aculaaa and @loveshotzz because COME AND GET HIM. (@deathbecomesthem ...and a possible Easter Egg?)
You can find my masterlist here for more fics featuring pretty much exclusively Eddie Munson content but also a little Steve.
Please do not interact if you are not 18+.
Enjoy!
---
Steve Harrington fucked up.
Ok. Ok. That’s not right.
Steve Harrington really fucked up.
If he was being honest, he always seemed to fuck up when it came to you, his...well...he could really only call you his ex now, couldn't he?
From rivals in ice cream where he missed every sign that you might like him, to sickeningly-sweet dates around Hawkins because he was being too boring of a boyfriend, and finally to Thanksgiving Dinner with his parents where he absolutely stuck his foot in his mouth.
He thought making a joke about your job-hopping was funny--from Dippin' Dots to Wicks and Sticks to KB Toys, it's lucky you decided he was worth sticking around for--but it only put you under his parents' scrutiny.
He got an earful as he walked you to your car after dinner was over. You stayed a few steps ahead of him until you got to the driver's door and turned to him with tears in your eyes.
"That was embarrassing, Steve," you said through clenched teeth.
"I'm sorry, I..." he was at a loss for words, especially making you cry. As strong as you were, you never seemed to be flustered at all; what was happening? "I thought it was a joke. We always laugh about it. I’m gonna work at scoops forever and you’re gonna work everywhere else."
"But it’s meeting your family, you shouldn't joke about...about what a huge flake I am that you're lucky I don't jump from boyfriend to boyfriend just like I go from job to job. They're never gonna look at me the same way again. You only get one first impression."
"You shouldn't worry about what they think about you. I've stopped caring about what they think about me too."
It went back and forth before you threw your hands up and got in the car.
You didn't even kiss him goodnight.
Then sometime during Black Friday weekend, you stopped by Scoops before your shift and broke up with him.
"It was nice, Steve," you said, barely able to look at him. "But uh...I don't know. I need to know I'm with someone who doesn't think I'm some kind of joke."
He chased after you, even with his manager screaming that if he left he'd be fired, and begged you to reconsider.
You didn't.
He watched you ride up the escalator to head to your shift.
And when he got back to Scoops, he was actually fired.
What a great day.
---
Of course, Robin quit as soon as Steve was fired.
"Can't stick it out without you dingus," Robin announced as she approached him in the parking lot shortly after, tossing her hat at him. "And you can't have Scoops without...Stoops. Get it? Because you're stupid. Scoops? Stoops? Stupid. Why aren't you laughing?"
It was pretty funny.
But Steve was heartbroken.
Unemployed and heartbroken.
Robin insisted that she could land them both jobs at Family Video--
"Keith hates me. Pretty sure he calls me Sleeze Harrington."
“Well he loves me. I can vouch for you, come on."
--but Steve was sure that he would have a better chance at winning you back if he kept working at StarCourt.
What an epic bust that was.
Not the job part.
Well, that too.
Most of the stores near the toy store were done hiring seasonal help, and the best that he could land was a temp job as a Mall Santa.
On the upside, it meant that he could walk around the mall on break in his Santa suit and watch you with you none the wiser until he could beg you to take him back.
"It sounds creepy," was the unfortunate response from Steve's newest friend and personal relationship expert, the Claire's Store Manager.
He stopped by before his shift to pick up some of his lucky strawberry lipgloss to make sure he was very pouty and puckery for the moment you realized you'd made a mistake...and after effectively getting it all over his fake beard, the Manager decided to take pity on him and listen to his woes while helping him clean up.
"I'm gonna need to start charging you for advice," she laughed and wiped him off with tissues from the ear piercing station. "You seriously need it if that's the idea you came up with."
"You're a real Lucy Van Pelt," Steve deadpanned. "I'll buy you cookies one day just...please...help me."
"Have you tried just talking?" she questioned. "Wasn't that your problem in the first place? Way back when? You didn't communicate."
"But they're mad at me, they don't want to talk. And I need to fix it."
"Then give them some space, and try again, ok? Give it a week or two. They probably just need time to cool down, sounds like you really hurt their feelings."
"And if they can't forgive me?"
"Then you move on," she sighed. "Sometimes things just don't work out and even though it doesn't make you feel ok, you have to be ok with it."
So he waited a week.
A week was long enough, right? His own personal Lucy said so.
He chose a day he wasn't scheduled at Santa's workshop and waited for you in the food court where he knew you'd seek refuge during your lunch break, just like the two of you had taken your breaks together. He wore his best polo, made sure his hair was perfect, applied some of his lucky lip gloss and waited.
And waited.
And waited.
But you never showed up.
Not during your usual break. Not an hour later. Not even at the supposed end of your shift.
Maybe you were working a double?
So as much as he told himself he wouldn't follow you because it was creepy, he ran up the escalator two steps at a time to KB Toys where you would surely be.
Or not.
"They don't work here anymore kid," your former manager sighed after he asked about you. "I'm sorry."
"W-well where did they go?" he asked frantically, pathetically.
"Didn't say, not really my business to ask. Put in their notice...right after Black Friday, actually. Right before the Christmas rush too."
If he was heartbroken before...his heart was just gone now. Obliterated. Non-existent.
Along with any hope of trying to win you back.
---
Steve stuck through the rest of the holiday season at the mall; you could call him many things but a quitter wasn't one of them. However, come the new year, he needed a new job again, and he took up Robin's offer to butter Keith up and get in at Family Video.
He was offered an opening key shift, a decent employee discount, a better paycheck than both Scoops and Santa's workshop combined, and unlimited access to choose the movie playing overhead whenever he was in charge.
"You're lucky the other person I was about to hire bailed," Keith said after his first week. "Got a job at the Hawk or something. Can't blame 'em. Free popcorn and all that."
The distraction helped the heartache.
Surprisingly, he got a few phone numbers. Nothing ever came of them, nursing a broken heart the way he was, but it was nice. He'd been tempted to call you, several times in fact, but in the end he just decided fate knew better. Still, he denied himself the role of Hawkins' resident heartthrob.
"Are you hearing yourself right now?" Robin scoffed at him as he scrubbed off yet another phone number that had been written onto the palm of his hand by one customer or another. "Resident Heartthrob. Seriously? Ok Cassanova."
"What else do you wanna call it?" he asked, holding his arms out helplessly. "They can't resist the Harrington Charm, even when I don't want to use it."
"It's because you keep putting on sappy romance movies when you're here. Girls like that shit, a guy in touch with his feelings."
"First Nancy and then..." he trailed off, thinking about you sadly. He had to let you go.
"Are you kidding me?" Robin hit him upside the head and shoved him out of the way so she could start processing returns. "You can't even say their name? You need to get over it."
"It's hard."
"Were they your soulmate or something?"
"Robin, all men must...have someone who will never take advantage of a love bright as the sun."
"Love?"
"Someone to stand beside them."
"You're quoting the Monkees now."
"They were the one," Steve lamented. "And now they're--"
He trailed off as his eye landed on something outside the window.
"They're what? On the Last Train to Clarksville?" She made a buzzer noise. "Try again."
"No they're walking in right now, act casual," Steve announced and started typing away at the keyboard of the computer.
The doorbell chimed as you set foot inside Family Video and Steve glanced up to get a look at you for the first time in weeks.
Ok, so maybe he was being a little pathetic with this heartache.
Maybe it wasn't that bad for him.
It was pretty bad.
But when your eyes met, Steve could just tell...it had to have been just as bad for you too.
Because he knew you by now. How many months had you been dating? Dates and lunches and breaks spent together. Was it love? Maybe. Probably. Even if it wasn't, it was damn near close to it. So he knew the way your eyes lost their sparkle a little bit when they landed on him, knew the way your shoulders sagged, knew the words that refused to escape your lips when you saw him.
Stevie Stew. Pookie Bear. Dumb dumb. All the pet names he missed too.
Robin greeted you with an exaggerated lengthening of your name and a pointed glare shot directly at Steve.
"Hey Rob," you cleared your throat and offered a strained grin. "How are you? Didn't know you were working here."
Your eyes shifted to Steve and then back to Robin.
"Either of you."
"I've been here since before Christmas," Robin leaned against the counter as you approached and thumbed over her shoulder at Steve. "And of course dingus over here just couldn't stay away."
"You're the dream team, of course," you nodded. "Scoops Troop. But, uh, not anymore I guess."
"We're workshopping a new name."
The two of you laughed and then you excused yourself to peruse the shelves for a new movie. Robin even offered to show you some new tapes with a low pull it together hissed at Steve as she rounded the counter to show you a new display.
Steve willed himself to say something, Do something. Anything. Say hello, walk over and suggest a new movie, say that it was good to see you, that he missed you.
Communicate, god damn it.
But he was frozen.
Even more when you and Robin returned a few minutes later debating which John Hughes flick you should get: Sixteen Candles or Weird Science.
"You could always get both," Steve suggested, the words rocketing out of his mouth violently as you reached the register.
"Uh, yeah, actually..." you nodded. "That's a good idea, I think I will."
Steve typed in all the information and got your rentals rung out, and as he asked if you wanted candy or popcorn, you laughed.
"You know what, I'm actually all candy and popcorn'd out," your smile faltered when your eyes met again. "I'm...uh...you know."
"Know what?" Steve asked dumbly.
"I'm over at the Hawk," you nodded. "New shift manager and everything. I was...I was actually supposed to work here when Mr. Phillips offered me a dollar more at the theater. And the popcorn didn't hurt."
"I didn't know that," Steve shook his head.
"Oh."
"Yeah."
You and Steve stared at each other for another long, drawn out minute.
You opened your mouth to say something--
"Can we ta--"
--before Steve, idiot that he was, pushed your tapes across the counter at you and practically shouted at you.
"Your rental's due back on Friday by 2pm, enjoy."
Robin gave him the silent treatment for the rest of his shift.
---
"Do I show up with flowers?"
"Flowers?"
"What's that voice, you don't like flowers?"
"Not really."
There he was, back at Claire's the following day, sitting in the chair at the Ear Piercing Station as the manager restocked the jewelry wall. A bag of fresh chocolate chip cookies from the food court sat on top of the station and the two of them periodically reached in for a treat as Steve regaled her with his tale.
"I know they miss me, I just know it."
"Then why did you freeze up?"
"Because I'm an idiot. Help. Please."
So far, the manager hadn't really been able to offer him much advice outside of a shoulder to cry on and a listening ear. Especially now as he planned a way to win you back.
"Everyone likes flowers," Steve argued skeptically. "You're telling me Munson hasn't gotten you roses or something?"
The shop bell rang, a chain rattled, and leather squeaked, and instead of the manager answering with a gentle tone and an eye roll like she'd been doing all day, Eddie Munson himself chimed in.
"If I was a jealous man," he started with an exaggerated glare at Steve. "I would say you're here flirting with my girlfriend."
Eddie "The Freak" Munson was somehow the Dad to Steve's reluctant Mom when it came to the ragtag gang of Freshman that they shared role-model-ship of, and because of that their previous animosity had been turned into some kind of...agreement.
Could Steve say Eddie was a bad guy? No. Was he still wondering why the kids liked him so much? Yes. Could the two of them get along? Up for debate.
Which was why Steve wasn't so concerned when the metalhead was feigning some kind of intimidation tactic; they had an agreement that went from unspoken to shaken on come the new year: No fighting in front of the kids, no making fun of each other's hair, no stealing Eddie's girlfriend.
"What are you doing here?" the manager laughed at the two boys antics and crossed her arms over her chest. "Don't you have school?"
"I came to ask you a very important question," Eddie smiled a lovesick smile at her, Steve momentarily ignored. "But imagine my surprise when someone else is sitting in my spot."
"It's not your spot. And I'm giving him advice."
"Again?"
"He's hopeless, apparently."
"I'm right here," Steve exclaimed and got to his feet, ready to leave. "I didn't come here to be made fun of. I actually need help."
He didn't like the way Eddie clapped him on the shoulder, or steered him out of the store, or gave him a patronizing smile.
"Listen," Eddie started once they were out of the store. "I know you're having some issues but seriously, you need to get your act together."
"And how should I do that Munson? I've thought of everything and your girlfriend keeps telling me that my ideas are stupid."
"I'm sure they are stupid," Eddie nodded. "I trust her judgment."
"What would you do to win her back? If you fucked up?"
"I wouldn't fuck it up, Number one," Eddie smirked. "Even at the risk of jinxing myself there. Rule Number One in the Munson Relationship Doctrine, don't fuck it up."
"Well that page is missing from the Harrington Relationship Doctrine, because I clearly went and did that."
"Rule Number Two," Eddie continued, ignoring Steve. "Is by making a grand and personal gesture. Didn't you ask Nancy Wheeler to Junior Prom by having the cheer squad perform a routine just for her a few years ago."
"Yeah that took a lot of begging," Steve nodded eagerly, already formulating a plan. "But I could do it again if I--"
"I heard she hated it," Eddie shot a sour expression. "So no, not that."
"Then I'm out of ideas," Steve admitted.
Eddie threw his head back and groaned, and Steve was sure he heard him say something along the lines of and Buckley called him Hawkins Heartthrob.
"Listen," Eddie recovered, tightened his grip on Steve's shoulder with one hand, and jabbed him in the chest with the other hand. "Don't ever say that I didn't do anything for you ok? Where does your friend work? The Hawk?"
"How do you know that?"
"News travels fast when you're friends with 5 freshmen and Robin Bigmouth Buckley ok?" Eddie shook his head. "Now listen to me. Your friend works at the theater? Showing movies right? And what are movies made of?"
"Film?"
"Sure. And the kids...Dustin...what club is he part of at school?"
"Uh...Hellfire Club. Chess Club..."
"AV Club," Eddie insisted with an exaggerated nod. "And where do you work?"
"Family Video."
"And what is in a vid--you know what?" Eddie groaned. "I don't have time for this. How are you not putting two and two together Harrington?"
"I don't know what I'm supposed to be putting together."
"What they all have in common?"
Steve took a second as Eddie leaned closer expectantly, as though trying to transmit his idea through osmosis because Steve was just not getting it.
Until the osmosis was successful and Steve had his lightbulb moment.
"Oh!"
"There you go!" Eddie's face stretched with a feral grin. "I see the wheels turning. Ladies and Gentleman, I believe a plan is underway."
---
It took a little more than a week, the combined efforts of the AV Club and Hellfire Club, and a good chunk out of Steve's paycheck for supplies and to bribe them all and the projectionist at the Hawk.
But the plan was in place.
Steve found out your schedule, bought tickets for a 5pm show of Hey there, It's Yogi Bear.
There couldn't have been a worse movie to choose, but it was the only one he could buy out the theater for.
He showed up to the Hawk promptly at 4:30, got his soda and popcorn, and hung around the lobby impatiently. He was pretty sure he'd ruined his hair from the number of times he'd run his hand through it.
Slowly his friends started to filter in: The Sinclair kids and Max, Mike Wheeler and Will Byers with Nancy and Jonathan in tow--that wouldn't be nerve-wracking or embarrassing at all if the plan didn't work out. At some point, Eddie's van pulled up in front of the Theater and Dustin, Jeff, Gareth, and Dave all walked in bickering about nachos and sour worms, before Eddie and the Claire's Store Manager followed suit, Eddie telling his friends to shut up.
Steve was beginning to sweat at 4:55 when Robin ran in, hand in hand with a new girlfriend that he'd seen waiting for Rob when he dropped her off at school in the morning.
That he'd been maybe a little too in his own head about you to hear Robin rave about for the past few months. He really did feel bad about that.
"Thought you were gonna be late," he accused Robin.
"Me? Late?" she beamed. "Never. Do we have time to grab candy?"
"Just go," he waved them off, then shot Robin a secret thumbs up as she pointed to her crush excitedly, then got nervous when he spotted you across the lobby, talking to one of the ushers.
You faltered when you locked eyes with him, waved back when he sent you a little hello, and then you scurried into the box office.
He allowed himself one more moment of heartache. Then at 5 on the dot, Steve entered the theater and sat in the back row, as close to the projection window as he could get.
The previews started, and for a moment, Steve looked at all his...well, they were all his friends now, weren't they? Here to support him on this hare-brained endeavor. He suddenly felt loved in a way that he didn't think he'd ever felt before, not like this.
The only thing missing was you.
Suddenly the projection started skipping, and he could hear his accomplice in the projection booth shuffle around, then a door opened and closed.
"And so it begins," Eddie said dramatically a few rows ahead.
"Shut up, you're gonna give it away!" Dustin shouted at him.
Everyone started chattering until Steve sent them all a shhhhh when he heard the projection booth door open and shut again and your voice, clearly irritated, started speaking.
"What do you mean it isn't working? Did you try...I don't know...unplugging it and plugging it back in? Re-roll the film and try it again...here let me see..."
Steve felt himself shake with anticipation as the projector started up again, but the images on the screen were decidedly not Yogi Bear and Boo Boo.
"What the hell?" you exclaimed.
On the screen were pictures of you and Steve, all the polaroids and film strips from the little Photo Booth at Starcourt that you'd taken together over the months of your relationship. The ticket from the aquarium that he'd saved. The note you'd pinned to his back one morning when you hugged him before his shift that said "Steve Harrington is a loser."
He heard your snort as the scene panned up to a shot of himself sitting at the desk in his room writing a letter, shot on the Wheeler family's camcorder. The Steve on the screen looked up into the camera and startled.
"Oh," he laughed. "Didn't see you there. It's been a long time, hasn't it? I uh...I really wanted to talk to you and figured there wasn't a better way than writing a letter."
"Nerd," you called through the projection window, garnering laughs from his friends.
The scene faded to Movie Steve in a turtleneck skipping rocks at Lover's Lake in a very artistic shot that Director Dustin was apparently "proud of."
"But a picture is worth a thousand words so I'm pretty sure a video is worth a million." Movie Steve said your name sadly and looked deep into the camera. "I messed up, I was an idiot and a jerk and only took my own feelings into consideration when I made that joke to my parents. I don't care how they felt about you because I'm past the point of caring how they feel about me. My screw ups.
"And unfortunately I made the biggest screw-up of my life that night. I might not care what they think about me...but I care what you think about me."
The scene changed once again, Movie Steve leaning over the counter at Family Video filling out a form on a clipboard.
"There are a million better movies out there than this one you're watching right now Honey, but none of them are able to show just how truly sorry I am, and how much I miss you. I know that we still need to talk things out in person but I hope this shows how much I'm willing to put in the work so you'll forgive me."
A few rows ahead, he could hear Eddie speak along with Movie Steve, he leaned into his girlfriend and said "I wrote that line. Pretty good, right?"
"Uh huh," she pushed his head away from her. "Sap."
Eddie turned back to look at Steve and shot him a thumbs-up.
The scene changed one last time to a panning shot of Steve walking out of StarCourt mall towards his car.
"This is your chance to decide now. I wouldn't blame you if you chose never to talk to me again. I'll wait outside once your shift is over, but I'll respect your choice either way. I miss you Honey, and I love you."
Movie Steve got in the car and drove away into the sunset, only for the camera to pan over to Corroded Coffin playing a sweet ballad that Steve knew was your favorite.
The screen faded to black and the audience erupted into applause before the real previews resumed and the eventual movie.
Steve listened intently for some sign of life from the projection booth, but aside from a few footsteps and the door opening and closing again, there was nothing.
--
After the movie was over and all of his friends went their respective ways, Steve sat by his car until the end of your shift. When the last lights of The Hawk marquee finally turned off and the employees all started filing out, he knew he was holding his breath.
The last person out of the building was you, and as you turned around and spotted him, you stopped in your tracks.
Just like the other day at Family Video, it was a standoff between you and Steve, and although Steve wished that you would just come running into his arms to kiss him, insisting your forgiveness, he knew things were never that easy.
"That, uh...was something," you finally broke the silence.
"It was, wasn't it," he agreed.
"Was that your idea?" you asked. "Pretty sure those were all your friends in there."
"Yeah I bought out the whole theater."
"You bought...seriously?"
"I wanted to make sure you weren't embarrassed...in case anyone else saw."
"And I wouldn't be embarrassed by your friends?" you scoffed.
"Well they all helped me make it so I think I was more embarrassed asking them all for help than you." You let out a long sigh and put your face in your hands and Steve started talking rapid-fire. "I didn't mean to hurt you. I know that sucks when...when I already did. But I promise I'll do better. I'll be better. I'll be anything you need me to be, I just...I need you back."
You said something but it was muffled by your hands.
"What?"
"I said," you pulled them away and looked up at him with watery eyes, and he felt his heart drop again. "Do you really love me? You said so...at the end of that...whatever that was."
"I mean...yeah I guess I do."
"You guess?" you laughed.
"I do!" Steve said with more confidence this time. "I do love you. I'm...sorry I didn't say anything sooner."
"I'm sorry you didn't either," you muttered. You closed the distance and grabbed the lapels of Steve's jacket in your hands, as though you were about to shake him. "Do you know...the real reason I was upset?"
"There's...a real reason?" he asked.
"Why I broke up with you."
"Oh. Uh...no."
"I mean," you took a great breath of confidence. "Yeah I was mad because you made me seem like a joke to your parents on Thanksgiving, and I know...I know their opinion doesn't mean that much to you. But after I left it got me thinking...what if you made a joke like that...because I was a joke. And maybe thats why nothing was ever coming of our relationship because it was just...you didn't care about me. You didn't...love me, the same way I loved you."
Steve felt the invisible hand clench around his heart; it was like Nancy all over again.
"Loved?" he whispered weakly, the sense of deja-vu undeniable. "Honey..."
"So I had to end it. To protect myself. And I took a long hard look at myself when I got to work. The what? Third job I had since I started at StarCourt? I realized that maybe...I was a joke. Maybe you were right, that I was...this job-hopping, unreliable...thing and that's why I quit. And I started looking...for a management position somewhere so I could be better."
"But you were already great," Steve assured. "Can we get back to that...loved thing?"
"Steven..."
"Sorry."
"Let me finish."
"Ok."
"And you know what I found out since I've been here?" you asked. "I...kind of hate working at a movie theater. And I need to leave again. I'm...I'm a free spirit. I can't be tied down to one kind of job. I saw an ad in the paper for an arts and crafts instructor at the Park District and I sort of wanna quit before applying, I would be great at that."
"You would," Steve laughed, still unsure of where this was going.
It was always a bit of a rollercoaster with you though, and it was another thing about you that he loved.
"So...tonight seeing all of that," you waved an arm behind you at the theater. "Seeing you...realizing that you loved me all along...I don't know. I don't need your love to keep being who it is that I am, it's just nice to know that you love me, the same way I love you."
"Love me?" he asked hopefully.
"Yeah."
He whispered your name desperately and then cupped your face in his hands.
"I love you Honey."
"I love you too, Steve Harrington."
You pulled him into you and smashed your lips to his. The heartbreak faded away from both of you, and in its place, undeniable love and affection for each other.
Steve Harrington might have been many things, he might have fucked up.
But he was happy to say he was someone who could fix it.
With love.

Makeup Sex with Eddie Brock

Warnings ⚠️ SMUT
Minors DNI
"Wait, come on! I'm sorry, okay?" Eddie said, following you down the stairs of his apartment complex.
You round on him, seething with rage. "No! How many times have I told you to stop texting Anne?"
"Look. Baby, we're just friends, honest!" He said, tripping over the last step.
Why is he so God damn adorable? It's hard to stay mad at him.
"Eddie, you almost married this woman. You can't just get rid of your feelings for her. You are texting her because you can't let go!"
Eddie looked nervously around and waved awkwardly to one of his neighbors, "Hey, how are you, Mrs. Lawrence?" You can tell he's embarrassed.
"Goodbye, Eddie," you said, leaving him a worried mess on the landing.
After you left, Eddie walks back to his apartment, goes straight to his room, and falls face first into the mattress. "Why am I such an idiot!" He groans into the bed.
*this is your fault, again. You have a perfectly good girl friend, why are you texting another woman* said Venom.
"What? You're the one who misses Annie, you traitor! That last text was from you!"
*I missed her. Annie isn't my ex-fiance, the rules are not the same* Venom said.
"Oh, shut up! She doesn't understand that! Ugh, I gotta make this right, or I'll lose her!" Eddie said, grabbing his phone and texting you frantically.
You ignore his texts. You're at a bar, having a drink to calm down. It's around eight pm and you and Eddie were supposed to have a date.
But you saw his phone receive a text, and you just so happened to catch who the message was from, Anne.
You certainly lost your cool, but what the hell? Weren't you enough for him?
You spend an hour out, taking in a few drinks to calm your nerves. Finally, you check your phone.
16 missed calls and 20 texts. Good lord, Eddie.
You check your voice messages: you have 9 voice messages.
Your curiosity allows you to listen to the first message.
"Hey, it's Eddie...uh, I'm sorry. That wasn't cool, I know. But it's Venom, he likes Annie. I'm trying to explain to him it's not okay...look, please call me? You are the only girl for me. I promise, just call me,m"
He sounded so sad, it broke your heart. Fine. You'd go back to his apartment.
He opens the door to find you on the other side.
"Thank God, okay, hear me out..." he tried to say. But you pushed him back inside, closing the door and locking it behind you.
"Bedroom, now please," you said, sauntering back. Eddie follows willingly.
He watches you undress, then perch yourself on the end of the bed, naked.
"Say you're sorry with that tongue of yours," you said seductively.
Eddie smiled and, in turn, removed his clothing and got between your legs. He kissed your inner thighs, then glided his tongue over to your mound.
He gave you a pleasant lick, then hooked his arms under your legs, pulling your bottom right on the edge of the mattress, burying his tongue into your core.
You rake your fingers through his hair, making sexy sounds, letting him know he's doing a good job.
Eddie is an eager boy. He always wants to please you. But sometimes he's a stupid boy who makes poor decisions.
You gently pull his head back, looking him in the eyes. He gives you his puppy dog eyes and says softly, "I'm sorry, baby."
"I know, but you've been a bad boy, so you're going to do what I tell you, okay?"
"Yes, ma'am," he said, like a good little boy.
"Good, now finish your dinner," you said, leaning back again and spreading your legs a little wider. He gave you a grin, and you giggle before he dives back in.
He obeys and cleans you up nice. He licks and sucks and brings you gushing forth over his tongue.
After your moans come to a silence, you sit up and push him down to the rug on the floor. He is hard as a rock, and you tease him with your tongue. He moans, and then you kiss his well toned abdomen.
"Fuck, baby. You gonna blow me?" He whined, sliding his fingers through your silky hair.
"Mhmmm," you purred against his base, then kiss upwards on his shaft, nipping his bell.
"Oh, god. Please, baby, don't tease me too much," he whimpered.
"But you've been bad," you said, low and sultry.
"Yeah. I have, really bad, teach Daddy a lesson," he said breathlessly.
You smile and straddle him, sinking your heat down on his erection. Eddie closed his eyes and moaned, grabbing hold of your hips.
"You like my pussy, baby? You enjoyed your meal, huh, daddy?" You purred as you began sinking up and down on him.
"Fucking delicious, I'll eat you any time," he said, bucking his hips.
You laugh softly, then close your eyes, enjoying his thick cock dividing your core.
You ride him slow, making him buck his hips from time to time, wanting to pound you harder. "No," you tell him firmly, as you sink down on him hard, pinning him to the floor.
You lean forward, slipping your fingers into his hands, and pushing them to the floor as well.
You slowly rotate your hips, and he groans with pleasure.
"Stop misbehaving, or you don't get to cum," you said, looking down at him.
"Huh, you serious?" He said, laughing nervously.
"Yes, and don't test me on what happens if you cum before I allow it," you said, kissing him deeply, shoving your tongue into his mouth, pressing the back of his head into the floor. Eddie moaned into your mouth as you pinched his nipples and clenched your cunt around him hard.
"Okay, okay, okay! Fuck, I almost came," he said, turning his head to the side.
You giggled, enjoying him wiggling below you.
"Poor baby, ask me permission to cum," you said, sitting back up, and rocking your hips again, thoroughly pleasuring yourself with his big cock.
"Please, can I cum?" He said.
"Oh, you can beg sexier than that, Eddie," you teased.
"Fuck. Yeah, yeah, sure. Uh, please mistress? Let your naughty fuck toy cum?"
"Mmmmm, sluty, you're a sluty fuck toy, baby," you said, clenching again.
Eddie whimpered out a sexy little groan and corrected himself, "Sluty! Fuck, yeah. I'm a sluty little fuck toy, mama. Let me cum, please?"
His voice was strained, she knew he was at his limit, so she rode him, letting him cum.
Afterward, both showered and dressed in your pajamas, Eddie was rubbing your feet on the couch while you watched TV.
"That was fucking amazing sex. Maybe I should piss you off more," he said, grinning.
"Watch it pal. Any more shenanigans from you and I'll have to peg your sweet little ass," you said.
Eddie's eyes widened, "Um, okay. I'll be on my best behavior then," he said, nodding with commitment.
"Good boy," you said, winking.

Push it till it Breaks | Eddie Munson x fem!reader
Summary: Once you realize you have feelings for your best friend, Eddie, you can't make yourself say the words out loud. Not even when you notice he has feelings for you too. So you tease the hell out of him in hopes it will make him snap. Probably shouldn't have done in in the middle of a Hellfire meeting. Well, you're certainly not complaining if it gets you Eddie.
Warnings: 18+, there's fluff if you squint, angst, explicit sexual content, spanking, hair pulling, fingering, multiple orgasms, p in v sex, unprotected sex (reader on pill), squirting, come as lube, Master kink (Eddie is the Dungeon Master, it makes sense), dom!Eddie, use of pet names, aftercare is offered but reader wants round 2 first, degradation (whore/slut), flashbacks, drug use,
Words: 6199
a/n: thank you @yourdollydreams for the request! I had a lot of fun with it! I tweaked it a tiny bit to rather teasing Eddie in a turning him on sense, she also tries to push his buttons to make him lose control. I hope that's okay! There is a scene with that, but it's not the whole premise because this ran away with me.
Requests are open, I'll take Steve and Steddie too! Send some, if you'd like! Masterlist

You’re not really sure when it happened, to be honest. There doesn’t seem like a set time that you really started to have feelings for your best friend. You can absolutely pinpoint when you realized you’d had feelings. But the realization came with a minor epiphany that they were far from a new development. Simply that your brain had caught up with your heart. Among other things.
Eddie has been your best friend for as long as you can remember. You’ve lived in Forest Hills Trailer park, three lots down from him, ever since you were born. Wayne had gone to school with your dad and they both work at the plant together. So, most of your days were spent with wide brown eyes and heavy music. Over the years and the confusing puberty time period, you’d assumed he’d want to not be best friends with a girl anymore.
Some archaic belief nagging at the back of your brain that you’d grow apart, that guys and girls can’t be friends. But that couldn’t have been farther off base if you’d tried. Nothing can trump the connection from years worth of playing on the same playground. Sharing lame jokes that make you both wheeze with laughter. Parental figures working nights, leaving the slightly older boy in charge of looking after you both. It’s a bond that you just can’t break.
So yeah, somewhere along the lines, you fell for Eddie “the freak” Munson. It’s a little annoying. Not in the sense that you’re pissed it’s Eddie you want. You just wouldn’t have wasted your time kissing so many frogs in hopes of a prince if you knew that you could have Eddie. What’s annoying is you want to know when it happened. The idea of things creeping up on you doesn’t sit right. God, the day you realized, you acted like such an idiot too.
---
“What are we watching tonight, sweetheart?” Eddie asks, sparking up a joint where he sits on the couch, shirtless, sweatpant clad legs spread. The light glow from the lamp in the living room paints Eddie in a soft, golden hue, enhancing his relaxed features. All you can do is watch as he lets the smoke spill out of his mouth before inhaling it through his nose. Your eyes fixate on the trail from his plump lips, licking your own.
What the fuck is going on with you?
Why are you staring at him like a creep?
Shaking yourself out of whatever the hell that was, your gaze snaps to the two boxes in your hands. “Um,” you swallow thickly, trying very hard to get your brain to read the words printed in front of you. “Stuck between The Shining and Carrie,” you fumble out. You’re about two seconds away from actually slapping yourself.
You’ve never acted like this around Eddie before. You’ve seen him without his shirt on more times than you can count. Hell, you went with him to get both chest tattoos and the headless bat he has on his ribcage. The two of you have been friends long enough that you’ve both accidentally walked in on the other while changing, so the fact that his thin sweats do nothing in hiding what’s underneath shouldn’t be a surprise either.
Laying an arm over the armrest, Eddie narrows his eyes to protect them as the smoke coils up from another drag. “So you just want to mentally fuck me tonight, got it.”
Warmth burns your cheeks at his words, freezing your frame still. The instinct to fire back that you wouldn’t fuck him singes your tongue. “I-” That’s not something all that weird to come out of Eddie’s mouth, nor your attempted rebuttal. So why in the hell did it send a shock down your spine like a bucket of ice water had been dumped on you? You’re not even high yet, so there goes that excuse.
“I’m just kidding, babe,” he says, ashing the joint before leaning forward to hand it to you. “You know you can pick whatever you want,” Eddie says, your shaky hand taking the rolled paper from him.
Inhaling deeply into your lungs, you hold your breath, hoping this will knock some sense into you. Or rather, knock enough out that you don’t have to think about what’s happening and why you’re being so fucking weird. “The Shining it is, then,” you say on the exhale. Putting the tape in, you go back over to the couch, handing the weed back before plopping down on the couch beside him. Without a second thought, you throw your legs into his lap like you’ve done countless times before, settling into the corner of the couch as the movie starts.
Not missing a beat, Eddie’s free hand comes to your legs, running along the bare skin from your pajama shorts. Your breath catches in your chest feeling the warmth of his hand on you. Cold, chunky rings doing nothing to hide the searing heat blazing your flesh. His hand never goes more than a few inches above your knee as you hand the joint back and forth. But the way his fingers glide across the small portion of thigh he does touch lights a fire inside of you.
You’re not even paying attention to the movie. The images flashing on the screen, but the only thing you can focus on is his fucking hand. You didn’t even realize that he was trying to talk to you until his hand grips your thigh, shaking it a bit to get your attention. “Huh?” You whip your head to face him.
“I asked if you wanted the last hit,” Eddie repeats himself, holding the roach your way.
The question might as well have been a slap in the face the way your heart tightens in your chest. Suddenly every single thing makes sense to you. The way his hand has you so bent out of shape. The way he inhaled shooting straight to your core. How he always lets you pick the movie, or the music, and always offers you the last hit. Everything that your best friend does for you wrapped up in a tiny little bow. Why every little thing about Eddie is so noticeable and intense tonight.
You fucking like him.
You were so startled by his mind fuck comment and couldn’t say that you wouldn’t because it’d be a fucking lie. Subconsciously, you knew that you wanted to be with Eddie before your brain had even had a moment to process the information.
Son of a bitch.
“I- uh,” you clear your throat, his eyebrows raising at you in waiting.
“You alright?” Eddie asks when you still haven’t answered.
“Great!” You say a little too chipper. “Um, I’m good,” you shake your head, waving at the burnt paper, “you can have it.”
Eddie’s eyebrows pinch, like he knows something’s off. But he doesn’t say anything, which you’re grateful for. He only nods, taking the last hit and snubbing the remnants. After doing so, he curls his arm around your shoulders to bring you closer to him, allowing your head to rest on his shoulder. Meanwhile your heart is having a field day in your chest.
---
So, yeah, it became pretty obvious to you that you felt some type of way about Eddie. With noticing everything about him, you started to realize that everything you liked about Eddie, he did for you. Playing your favorite songs softly on his acoustic when you had trouble sleeping. Coming over in the middle of the night when your bathroom sink broke and fixing it for you. Giving you rides everywhere because the thought of his best friend walking somewhere was ridiculous to him. Letting you decide what you were doing on days he didn’t have Hellfire or practice.
Each and every time you’d offered to do whatever he wanted to do, Eddie would hit you with a ‘I wanna do whatever you want, princess,’ or something of that nature. And the pet names. They’d never stopped. Princess, babe, love, sweetheart. You name it, Eddie’s more than likely called you that. It wasn’t until the day that after a weak attempt to fill the Eddie sized hole in your heart with someone else only resulting in heartbreak did you realize why he always called you sweet names. When he told you that you were too good for the asshole that cheated on you all of a month into the relationship.
‘Babe, you’re perfect and if he can’t see that, he’s a fucking idiot that doesn’t deserve you,’ were his exact words. But it was in the way he held you close to his chest, peppering kisses in your hair while he rubbed your back that it hit you.
Eddie liked you too.
Your best friend wanted in your pants but he was just too much of a gentleman to say it outright. You’re not blind and you’re far from stupid. And to be frank, it’s not like Eddie doesn’t have warmth pooling in your gut with the smallest of actions. Maybe, in some backwards sort of way, you hope that over exaggerating your own feelings for him will let Eddie do what you can’t seem to do. Have the courage to make the first move.
So rather than put your big girl pants on and talk about it, you teased him. The way he stuttered his words when you’d asked if he was an idiot then too was well worth it.
But once you’d started to tease him about it, you didn’t really know how to stop. It’s become this kind of rapport you share. Him subtly hitting on you while you push it too far to get him to crack. It’s just that he hasn’t cracked. Eddie is like a stone fucking wall when it comes to his resolve. You’d thought for sure the day you’d gotten him to pop a boner class that he finally would’ve said something.
Except that he didn’t.
You two were talking about some potential date with Jason Carver. One you’d never say yes to, mind you. But still. Word had spread that after the jock’s friend hurt you, that he wanted to swoop in and save the day. You’d rather make out with a viper.
---
“A shoulder to cry on is a dick to ride on, sweetheart,” Eddie scoffed under his breath.
You roll your eyes, while he’s not necessarily wrong, that's probably exactly Jason’s hopes and intentions, it only lets his jealousy show. “What’s the matter, Eds?” You drop your tone, honey sweet, “would you rather it be your shoulder?” You ask, knowing good and well he’ll get the insinuation.
“Pfft, anyone is better than Jason, babe,” he says, fiddling with his pencil. “Besides, last I’d heard,” Eddie leans over, “Carver doesn’t know shit about pleasing a woman in bed.” But the sneer on his slips does nothing to hide the meaning of his words.
“That so?” You meet him the rest of the way, placing your hand above his knee, “tell me something, Eds.” You slide your hand up his thigh, squeezing as you go, and Eddie stills, tension locking his shoulders while he holds his breath. Just as you’re about to reach the inseam, you whisper, “do you know how to please a woman better than Jason?” You make sure to add an extra layer of sugar to the jock’s name, really lay it on thick with Eddie. “You think you could please me?” You tease, reaching your destination and feeling the hardened bulge in his jeans.
Eddie jolts out of his stool so quickly, he nearly knocks it over, mumbling “bathroom,” to the teacher scolding him for his outburst.
---
All Eddie did was excuse himself to the bathroom and acted like nothing ever happened come lunchtime. Like he didn’t rub one out in the middle of school because of something you’d said. It was kind of infuriating. Sure, you weren’t exactly thinking he’d jump your bones in the middle of a crowded classroom. You don’t even know what you were expecting. Some other kind of a reaction than that.
An acceptance. Some kind of affirmation.
An agreement that he in fact could take care of you. That he wanted to. Just like you so desperately wanted him to. You’re running out of ways to tease him that aren’t just throwing yourself at him or walking into his room stark naked.
“I need your help,” Eddie’s voice startles your head out of your locker as he leans on the one beside it.
“Fuck’s sake, Munson,” you clutch your chest, heart hammering from how hard you were yanked from your thoughts. “Are you trying to send me to an early grave?”
He only laughs at your anxiousness, “never! I like having you around too much, princess,” Eddie grins while you shove the last textbook into your locker.
Closing your locker, you wink at him, “always knew you had the hots for me, Eds.”
“Fuck off,” Eddie playfully swats at your arm, making you giggle.
You’re confident in his feelings for you. But when it comes to the actual act of opening your mouth and telling Eddie how you feel, you clam up. And you’re honestly a little worried that with how long you’ve been teasing him about it, Eddie might not believe you if you said it in earnest. That you were playing some trick. If only he knew that you mean every word. So all you can do now is hope he breaks since you’ve dug yourself into a hole you have no idea how to get out of.
“What did you need help with?” You lean against the lockers, facing him.
Eddie crosses his arms over his chest, “Mike thought it’d be a good idea to get the flu.” With a huff, he presses on, “and I’m not about to get sick for one and cancel the last meeting for Hellfire before break. So, I was hoping” he reaches over and taps your nose, “you would come by as a stand in?”
“Yeah, why not,” you say. It’s been a bit since you’ve played. He taught you how when you were kids, but never got as into it as he did. Helping him plan his campaigns however, that was pretty fun. “Are you still on the Cult of Vecna? I’d hate to be accused of cheating,” you remark.
“No, we finished that a few weeks ago,” Eddie smiles, “if the dice treats them kindly, the party will be taking down a succubus tonight.”
“Do I have enough time to shower and change first? Gym kicked my ass today,” you tell him.
Eddie wraps his arm around your shoulder like you didn’t literally just tell him you think you smell. “Of course,” he says, leading you towards the exit. “Gotta grab you an official shirt first anyway,” Eddie weaves through the mass of students making their way to the bus or their cars. Reaching his van, he opens the passenger door for you. As always, waving his arm out with a bow, “M’lady, your chariot.”
“Thank you, Eddie,” you kiss his cheek, “always such a gentleman.” Even hopping in your seat, you don’t miss the way he tries to hide his blush behind his curls.
Getting in the driver’s seat, Eddie blasts the mixtape he made for you all the way to the trailer park, not saying a word until he pulls up outside your place. Opening your door, he jabs a thumb over his shoulder, “I’m gonna go grab the shirt, be back in a few, okay?”
“Sure thing, handsome,” you pat his chest, boots hitting the grass. Batting your eyelashes at him, you saunter towards your front door.
Biting away your giggle at pushing his buttons once again, you narrowly miss his grumbled speech under his breath. “...be the fucking death of me.”
Passing through the kitchen once inside, you see a note with a twenty on the counter from your dad. Telling you he had to leave early today, but to get yourself something to eat for dinner. Shoving the money in your bag, you make a beeline for the bathroom. You all but tear your clothes off in your haste to get clean, scrubbing yourself harder than necessary. But you really fucking hate gym class and were forced to participate today.
Satisfied that you only smell like your shampoo and favorite soap, you wrap your towel around yourself and head to your room to get dressed. You have half a mind to just stand there and wait for Eddie to come back. Wondering if you being in nothing but a towel would finally let his instincts take over, throw the gentlemanly attitude in the trash and just take you. But, he’d asked you for your help and knew he would be angry with himself if he missed Hellfire.
You want Eddie, that’s a fact. But you don’t want to prevent him from doing the things he loves. So you quickly get dressed. Grabbing a pair of wide fishnets and a short, black and red skirt and your boots. Choosing a dark red, lacey bra and panty set to match. It’s only when you start digging through your drawers for a shirt that you remember you’re supposed to be wearing a Hellfire shirt tonight.
A wicked grin splits your face, an idea forming that you simply can’t turn down. Not bothering to put a shirt on, you sit on your bed with your bra covered tits on display, leaning back on your palms to wait for Eddie. Your front door opens and nerves settle in your chest. What if he freaks out in a bad way?
“You ready, princess?” Eddie’s voice floats through the trailer, his footsteps making their way to your room, “sorry it took so- fuck.” Eddie’s words slow to a halt when he sees you displayed on your bed. “I- um, sorry,” he covers his eyes with his free hand, burning red cheeks beneath his palm.
“It’s okay to look, Eds,” your voice saccharine even to yourself, “promise I won’t bite. Unless you’re into that, of course.”
“Put this on,” Eddie unceremoniously tosses the fabric in your general direction, successfully covering your chest, “we’re gonna be late.”
“What’s the matter, Eds?” You tease further, standing up and putting on the Hellfire shirt, tying it behind your back so it doesn’t cover your skirt and exposes some of your midriff. Hearing the rustling of fabric, his hand falls from his face, expression stern. It warms your core in the most delicious way possible. You can’t help but push him harder, getting in his space, “can’t handle seeing a girl wearing a bra? Or is it me that’s doin’ it for ya?”
“Keep acting like a brat, babe,” Eddie warns, an inch from your face, pointing at you, “and I’ll put you over my fucking knee. ‘Kay?” He doesn’t give you a chance to respond, smirking at the red tinge of your cheeks before walking out of your room.
That shuts you up real quick and you follow him outside to his van.
---
As much as you wanted to poke and prod at Eddie on the way back to school, you didn’t. It wasn’t in fear of him putting you over his knee. That sounds amazing. It was the hard lines on his face as he kept checking his watch. The way he would groan and his fingers would fidget on the steering wheel at every red light you hit on the way there. You kept quiet, bobbing your head to the music, being good so that Eddie could get to his friends on time.
Did that stop you from uncrossing your legs when his hand found the gear shift in hopes he would reach over to place his hand on your thigh? No, no it did not. Did you get what you wanted? Also no. Annoyed with yourself for not pressing him further, you didn’t even notice you’d gotten to school until your door was yanked open. Eddie’s palm up in offering to help you out of the van.
You sat at the Hellfire table where everyone had their sheets, notes, and dice set up to play, dutifully listening to the recap of their last session. It wasn’t hard to keep up with, and you really think that if you all work together properly that you’d be able to kill the succubus. Gareth joked that he could just seduce it, win her over so that no one had to fight or die.
The way Eddie rolled his eyes at the suggestion sealed the deal.
This is how you’re going to get what you want. If you couldn’t tease Eddie to the point of snapping, you’ll poke the metaphorical bear and piss him off enough to.
“I think you should do it,” you say, placing your hand on Gareth’s shoulder leaning into him, “I’m sure you’ve got what it takes, big guy.”
You miss Dustin’s muttered, “oh, shit,” and Jeff’s wince.
Eddie’s hand falls to your thigh under the table, squeezing just enough to equally hurt and feel amazing. “Forget what I said already?” His eyes have darkened and have a glint to them that makes you crave. You know exactly what he’s talking about, but shake your head anyway. He juts his lips, giving you a curt nod and his hand vanishes. “You cannot seduce a succubus,” Eddie explains, playing off his question like it was meant for the group and not you. “She will see right through your bullshit attempt and kill you twice as fast.”
“Come on,” your voice drips honey, rolling your eyes, ignoring Eddie to face Gareth and stroke his cheek with your finger, “Gareth’s more than attractive enough to pull it off. Aren’t you?” You coo, pinching his reddened cheek.
You feel a little bad, using Gareth to get Eddie pissed off enough to do something. But at least you’re not lying. Gareth, objectively, is attractive. So what’s a little boost to his ego to get you what you want going to hurt? Nothing.
“Is that really your course of action, Gareth the Great?” Eddie grits, pointing to the set of dice in front of the other boy. Brown eyes wild and his tone not even trying to hide his annoyance.
Furrowing his brows, Gareth contemplates his options, before holding up a finger and turning his attention to the rest of the group. Wanting their opinion as to whether he can actually do this or not. A conversation you’re not allowed to be a part of when Eddie’s hand grabs your thigh again, jerking your legs open and you closer to him.
Your wide eyes meet him where he’s leaning in his throne to whisper, “you really want to be put over my knee that badly, babe?”
“Oh, Eddie,” you purr, guiding his hand farther up your thigh, “don’t threaten me with a good time. Because all it sounds like to me is weightless threats. Why don’t you do something, Eds?”
“Watch it,” his free hand comes up, ring clad finger pointing at you again, “keep it up and I won’t care that we’re mid session. Understand?” Eddie’s getting close and your nerves are buzzing in delight. That some part of him is accepting your advances. But the fact that he’s still trying to contain himself only eggs you on more. “Careful, princess.”
Is that so?
Settling in your seat, you smile sweetly, “I understand, Master,” teasing his role of Dungeon Master. You smirk at the way his hand tightens around your thigh. You know what the bandana in his pocket means and you were hoping that he did too. The way his mouth pinches into a thin line only confirms your hopes. “I promise I’ll be good,” you say, lying through your teeth.
“I’m gonna do it,” Gareth declares, happily oblivious to the conversation that just occurred, startling you two away from one another, leaving your thigh cold. “I’m gonna roll a charisma check, gonna try and woo her with my drum skills.”
“For fuck’s-” Eddie scrubs the irritation from his face, “go ahead. Don’t expect this to be easy,” he growls, “perfect twenty or you fail and I get to watch her eat you.”
No matter what happens after Gareth lets the die fly out of his hands, you’re certain of one thing; you’ve got Eddie now. Time to make him crack. The die hits the table, bouncing a few times before rolling to a stop. Lifting from your seat, you peer over to the other side, giving Eddie a perfect view of your ass. Hearing him groan, you lean further, seeing a golden twenty on the sleek black die.
“See, Gareth,” you plop back down in your chair. Reaching over, you run your hands through his curls, “I knew you had what it takes to please a woman.” You really hope throwing that line out that had gotten Eddie so worked up last time would be what it takes to make him lose control now.
“Well aren’t you-” Gareth’s words are cut short from Eddie’s throne skidding across the floor from his force to stand. Silence falls after the screech.
“Get up,” he states. When you don’t move, he drags your chair out from under the table. “I warned you,” he seethes in your ear, bending to pick you up and throw you over his shoulder. Your squeal is ignored by everyone at the table when Eddie’s palm smacks your ass. “Have fun fucking a succubus, Gareth. We’ll be back,” Eddie doesn’t bother looking over his shoulder, heading for the exit.
You look up at the group, hoping one of them will help you or get Eddie to calm down, but they don’t. Jeff is only hiding his smile behind his hand as he shakes his head. Mike looks uncomfortable, not surprising. Dustin winces, awkwardly waving at your retreating form. Lucas mutters something under his breath that you don’t catch. Not even Gareth saves you, too strung out on the fact that he’d rolled perfectly. Because unbeknownst to you, everyone in that room knows of Eddie’s feelings for you. Your blatant teasing hasn’t gone unnoticed by any of them, they’re honestly surprised Eddie didn’t yank you out of the room the first time you touched Gareth.
Throwing the door open, Eddie doesn’t say a word as he carries you down the hall, trying door handles until he finds one that’s unlocked. Halfway down the hall, he’s successful, pushing that door open just as hard as the club’s. “You know,” he huffs, yanking the teacher’s rolling chair out, “I tried to be nice.”
He sets you on your feet for the two seconds it takes him to sit down before pulling you over his lap. “Eddie,” you try to scramble up, only to be slapped on the ass again.
“Quiet,” Eddie orders, situating you until you're positioned properly, one arm holding your lower back to keep you in place, the other hiking your skirt. “D’you think I’m stupid? Fucking with Gareth to get a rise out of me. Thought I wouldn’t notice?” He asks, spanking you again when you don’t answer.
“Not stupid, Eds,” you pant, the sting warming your exposed skin, the thin lace doing nothing to hide the discoloration from his palm. “Just very fucking stubborn,” you correct him, with a breathless laugh. “Can’t take what’s blatantly offered to you.”
“That so?” Eddie rubs your ass, gripping the plump flesh before slapping it again. He dips his hand, running his fingers over your clothed folds, chuckling at the wet patch. “Aww, so wet already? Only a slut’s pussy gets wet from just spanking her. That what you are? My little slut?”
You moan, “yes,” arching your back to try and get more contact to your aching pussy.
“And she’s desperate too,” Eddie coos, speaking about you as if you’re not even there. Yanking your panties down, he ghosts his fingers against your slit, “I bet it hurts, hmm?” Eddie slaps both sides of your ass, hard, making you cry out and grip the chair and his legs. “I bet it does,” he kneads the flesh, “being so needy over so little. Don’t worry,” his shoves two fingers inside of you, you don’t know if you screamed or moaned, “Master will take care of you, sweetheart.”
His voice oozes faux sympathy and your eyes roll back as he brushes that sweet spot inside of you instantly. “E-Eddie,” you moan, trying to meet the thrust of his fingers.
Yanking you up by your hair, Eddie removes his fingers, slapping your ass. The wet digits make it sting even more. “Call me that again, and you’ll be biting down on your soaked panties for the rest of the night. Got it?”
“Yes,” you grunt from the angle. Eddie only pulls your hair harder, making you wince, “yes, Master.” Your hair is released and you gasp, falling back to his leg.
“Good girl,” he praises, sinking his fingers back inside, building your orgasm at twice the rate. You’re a moaning mess in his lap, writhing and ready to snap. “I shouldn’t let you cum for being such a brat before,” Eddie considers. “But fuck, babe, I wanna hear the way you scream when you cum.”
He doubles his efforts and your eyes roll back, moaning wantonly. “Fuck,” you gasp, warmth spreading through your core like lava. Hot and thick. “Please, please- fuck,” you cry out, a harsh slap to your ass, hightening the sensations in your cunt.
“Might put those panties in your mouth anyway, princess,” Eddie curls his fingers again and you’re sure you’re going to black out. “Wouldn’t want the rest of the group to hear how much of a whore you are. Ready to fall apart before I’ve even got my dick in you. Come on,” Eddie groans, his hard cock pressing against your stomach, thumb dipping to circle your clit, “show them what a good, little slut you are for me, baby.”
Static washes over your limbs, a loud, broken moan falling from your lips and you gush. Squirting all over Eddie’s fingers, thighs shaking through your orgasm. Your eyes screw shut, Eddie not stopping the thrusts of his fingers, the coil winding inside of you faster than you knew it could. And before you can even say it’s sensitive, or too much, your walls flutter around him as you come again. Your head grows fuzzy from the intensity of two in such quick succession.
“That’s my fucking girl,” Eddie growls, pulling his fingers out. You can hear him sucking them clean, “fuck, you taste good.” Helping you up, he bends you over the desk, hearing his belt unbuckle, his pants sliding down after. “Ready?” Eddie asks, rubbing the tip of his dick along your cunt.
“Please,” you gasp against the cold wood, hands splayed as you turn your head, “please, Master. Need you.”
“All you’ve ever, ever had to do,” Eddie accentuates his words with harder rubs to your folds, “was ask.” Proving to you that had you properly opened your mouth from the beginning that you could’ve been doing this much sooner. “If it’s too much, I want you to say red, understand?” You nod, trying to push back onto his dick. But he pulls farther away, rubbing your hip softly, “I need words, baby.”
“I understand, Master.”
“Good girl,” he praises, lifting the back of your shirt to place a kiss on your spine. Finally, his cock pushes inside of you, the stretch eliciting a lewd moan from your mouth.
“Oh my g-god,” you gasp out a throaty moan, the fullness of your walls stretching you so perfectly. All you can think about is where you’re connected. His cock full hilt, the hand bruisingly holding your hip and the other rubbing the swell of your ass.
“Not god, baby, just me,” Eddie chuckles darkly, slowly pulling back to just the tip. Dragging himself inside your pussy in teasing strokes, going only halfway back in to pull back again. “So tight, baby, fucking perfect.” He lifts your leg up until your knee is resting on the desk and then he slams into you deep, provoking another scream. “That’s right, let it out, pretty girl. Scream for your Master.”
You grit your teeth, the constant ramming of that spongy spot inside of you leaves stars behind your eyelids. “Fuck, fuck,” you gasp, moaning as you try to push back to meet his thrusts.
Eddie wraps his hand around your throat, pulling you up until you’re flush with his chest, free hand groping your breasts. “Sound so pretty,” he groans in your ear, thrusting faster and your eyes roll back. “Gonna come again?” Eddie asks, leaving your breasts to circle his fingers around your clit. “Soak my cock, baby.” Throwing your head back, you scream incomprehensible sounds, your orgasm rushing through you and splashing all over his dick pumping into you at a startling pace. “This what you wanted? Hmm? Wanted me?”
“Yes,” you croak, vocal chords going through it with the way you keep screaming from his efforts.
“Prove it,” Eddie says, swiftly pulling out to sit back down in the rolling chair. Grabbing your hips, he helps you straddle his lap. “Show me how badly you’ve wanted me, princess. It’s your turn to make Master feel good,” Eddie guides his dick back inside and you sigh, feeling him back where he belongs.
“Wanted you for so long, Eds,” you whine, out of breath and very fuzzy. You hold his shoulders for balance, bouncing on his cock.
His brown eyes soften only just, the hands holding your waist tenderly rubbing the skin. “Me too, princess,” Eddie says, grabbing the back of your head to pull you in for a kiss. You melt into it, grinding against his cock, putting pressure on your clit in a way that has another orgasm bubbling under the surface. You can barely think, let alone breathe when Eddie mutters, “gettin’ close, babe,” helping you grind against him faster. “Can I come inside? Mark this perfect pussy as mine?”
Resting your forehead against his, you nod, not trusting your voice. You’re on the pill, something you can absolutely tell him later once you have the proper functions to do so. For now, “p-pill,” is all you can manage. At least, you think you said it. Your throat certainly made a noise. Whether it was an actual word is up for debate. He’s doing a wonderful job making you cock drunk and you never want to look back.
Eddie chuckles, wrapping both arms around your back to hold your shoulders, thrusting up into you with sloppy, hard movements. “That’s my girl,” he moans, pounding into you and just when you think you can’t take it anymore, that the burn of your orgasm won’t be more than a tease, your walls clench and you come again. Eddie following you soon after, “fuck, baby,” moaned from him lips, his cock burying deep inside of you as the warmth of his cum spreads inside your pussy.
Panting and struggling to catch your breath, Eddie carefully pulls out of you. One hand rubs softly on your reddened ass, the other tracing shapeless designs on your back. “You okay, sweetheart?” He asks, all the tenderness in his voice returned, wrapping you in the best kind of warmth. “What do you need?” Eddie asks when you don’t answer, leaning his head back to try and get you to look at him.
Barely opening your eyes, you half nod your head, mumbling, “just you. Always needed you,” you smile sleepily.
“You have me, babe,” Eddie places soft kisses on your lips, coaxing your head down from the clouds. “I think you have for a while now,” he laughs under his breath.
“Took you long enough,” you huff, opening your eyes enough to properly see him.
“Maybe, if you realize you like me,” Eddie chuckles, out of breath from both of your efforts. “Don’t tease me so much that I think you’re just joking, just say something.”
Sitting up, you give him a mock salute, “yes, sir,” with a dopey smile.
His fingers dig into your hips, “what was that?” It takes you a moment to sift through the haze in your brain to notice he’s not angry, his hard cock digging into your ass. But you bite your lip once you understand what he means. “Say it again,” he grinds you against him, your eyes fluttering shut with a sigh. Lifting you enough to prod at your pussy, Eddie repeats, “call me sir again, sweetheart.”
The tease gets to your head as much as it does your pussy, “please, sir,” you whine, trying to get him inside of you again.
“For you, princess?” Eddie sinks you down on his cock, the sinful sounds of both of your cum making you moan, “always. Now be a good girl and come so that I can get you home and take care of you, yeah?”
You probably won’t be making it back to Hellfire as your hips start to roll again.
But at least you’ve finally got Eddie.

The New Girl
Eddie Munson x fem!reader
TW: SH, blood, drug use, depression, mentions of bullying
Tumblr media
Your family just moved in Hawkins Indiana, you're 18 and this is your senior year. You were your old town's freak, and the fact that you were a girl made it even worse. You were considered the town’s freak because you were mainly listening to metal and Rock N'Roll  but also because you loved Roleplay games. One day, you saw this magazine about Dungeon and Dragons and you really enjoyed the game's concept, you knew pretty much everything about this game but you had no one to play it with. This year means new resolutions and you decided to be the most "normal" that you could be. It means you have to say goodbye to the ripped jeans but also goodbye to the band t-shirts. And you even consider joining the cheerleaders even though you hate what they do. You won't be able to go through another year of bullying, all alone. Your high school years were really hard on you, you went into depression and school phobia and started having self harming habits. This year has to be different. You're even gonna hide your tattoos and you dyed your hair back in your h/c which is far different from their previous color which was claret-red.
This is your first day at Hawkins High, you dressed in a plain white, long sleeve t-shirt and a blue jean, and you only did your make up with foundation and mascara. You rush downstair, take your bag, a pancake and rush through the door while screaming "See you tonight !" to your parents. You hear your mom wishing you a good day before sitting on the driver seat of your car. You drive to school even though you are early and you hope you can find a calm spot in order to hide and smoke your cigarette before heading to class. You park your car on the parking, get out and see a little path leading to the forest, you take it and arrive at a picnic table, you sit thinking it's a very calm spot for your little pre first day cigarette. You sit down, take your cigarette out and start smoking when you hear leaves scrunching behind you. You jump off of the bench, to see a teenager, or young adult you don't know, with brown curly hair, brown eyes and his clothes are very similar to your former clothes. He raises his hands in surrender to show you he means no harm before speaking.
"I never saw you around"
"I'm new in town" you answer
The boy looks at you with his big brown eyes, you can't help but stare at him, but also admire him for being confident enough to wear the clothes he wants, you remember that once, you were like him, but that led you to be in such a dark place that you think it doesn't worth it.
"Then welcome perfect stranger, I'm Eddie Munson !"
You chuckle before answering "I'm Y/N, Y/N Y/L/N"
"Nice to meet you, I actually can't believe you are talking to me, most people would have ran away"
"Why is that ?” you ask
"Because I'm the town's freak" he makes invisible quoting marks with his hands "mean and scary"
"You don't seem mean and scary to me"
"Well thank you,  but you shouldn't hang out with me at school, not that I don't like you no, you are pretty and I enjoy talking to you but-"
You cut Eddie's rambling. "I can manage hanging out with the outcasts, I actually was an outcast in my old town"
"You don't seem an outcast to me, you seem the most normal person I've ever seen, and it's not an insult at all I promise" Eddie is all flustered and keep rambling.
"My style, my real style is similar to yours to be honest, I just changed it because I couldn't take being the freak anymore but I admire you. I admire you for not caring about what others think, and" you take a deep breathe "I want to learn, that's why, if you accept it of course, I'm gonna hang out with you at school"
While you were talking Eddie took a black lunch box out and started rolling a joint.
"I'd be honored to hang out with you, and I'll help you, I'll help you see how unimportant people's opinion is, all that matters is that you are comfortable in your own clothes, that you feel yourself. Do you even feel yourself in those ?"
You look at the ground, ashamed before answering "Not really..."
"You don't have to feel ashamed. I promise to help you be yourself" Eddie lits up his joint, you look at the joint tempted before Eddie asks you "Wanna share it with me ?"
You think about it, and if you're gonna walk into the hall of your new high school with him, you'll need courage, plus you haven't had one in two days now and the withdrawal is getting really strong so you nod.
"Before I share it with you I need you to say it out loud, please"
"Yes I want to share it with you"
Eddie hands you the joint and you take a few hits before handing it back to him. You look at your watch before cursing "shit ! Eddie we're gonna be late !"
Eddie shrugs but then he sees the panic in your eyes and takes his stuff before leading you to the high school.
When you both enter the halls, everyone looks at you. You start fidgeting with your fingers, really anxious for this first day when Eddie says. "You have nothing to be afraid of, if anyone is rude to you come to me and I'll flip them off"
You chuckle slightly before answering "thank you Eddie". Gosh you find this boy really sweet but also insanely attractive, but of course you keep your thoughts to yourself.
Eddie leads you to the secretary office and waits for you outside while you go pick up your timetable as well as your locker number and code. When you head out, you look surprised that Eddie is still here.
"What are you still doing here, you're gonna be late."
"I wasn't going to let you get lost in the maze that is Hawkins high, plus I don't care about being late"
"Thank you, I'm going to my locker and then to my first class"
Eddie snatches your timetable from your hands and look at you, grinning.
"We are together almost all morning !" he seems very excited at the idea of spending the morning with you and deep down you are too. You are also relieved.
"Sounds amazing" you answer
After your last class of the morning, that you had to spend without Eddie, you're going to the cafeteria, you enter and go grab food, once you have your tray, you look around for somewhere to sit when one of the basketball player, you think his name is Jason, goes to you and tell you "Wanna sit with us new girl ?"
You look at him in disbelief because of what he just called you, but you're kinda scared of him, you knew people like that at your old school, one of them used to hit you every single day, you start trembling a bit.
Eddie is sitting at his table with his friends from Hellfire. Gareth, Jeff, Dustin and Mike all look at the scene happening a few meters away which is your interaction with Jason when Gareth says.
"Look at the new girl already being seduced by the King of Hawkins high"
At those few words, Eddie raises his head from his plate and look at the exchange between you and Jason, he can sense that something is off but before he can say anything Dustin speak up.
"Why does she look so uncomfortable ?"
Eddie gets up on the table and scream "YN, you can come sit here if you want"
The whole cafeteria look at you and then Eddie in disbelief and Jason look at you with a glare saying 'don't you dare sit with him'. Before you could say anything Jason turns to Eddie and says "Want somethin' freak ?". The nickname make you wince and you get out of the cafetaria, running, with teary eyes. You run until you reach the picnic table you were sat on this morning.
Meanwhile, Eddie makes a face at Jason before jumping from the table and going to look for you. After 10 minutes of searching the whole High School, Eddie comes to the conclusion that you are at the picnic table. He goes there and see you with a bloody razor blade in your hand, crying. He delicately sits next to you and take the blade from your hands, he doesn't say anything because to be honest, he doesn't know what to say.
"I'm sorry" you manage to say between sobs
"Don't be YN, I am the one who is sorry, I should have been waiting for you at your class. What happened with Jason, did he say something ?"
You start crying even more at the mention of what happened in the cafeteria, Eddie start rubbing your back before he remembers the bloody blade. He looks at your bloody wrists and take one in his hand, he take his bandana and start wiping off the blood while you keep crying.
"I'm sorry if it hurts sweetheart but I have to clean all that blood"
You wince when the fabric of the bandana touch your wrist but you don't back up. You're ashamed that he saw you like that though.
After Eddie finished wiping the blood from your left wrist, he wipes the blood from your left wrist.
He keeps rubbing your back while you sob before asking "do you wanna talk about what happened in there ?"
You take a shaky breath before saying "I've known someone like Jason... back in my former high school, and he-" you start crying again "he hurt me almost every single day..."
"I'm sorry to hear that YN... Jason is a dick but he'd never hurt you like that, and even if he tried I wouldn't let him"
You look at Eddie, still sobbing, with your teary eyes and you mutter a shaky "thank you"
Then Eddie looks back at yout wrists and hesitate before asking "do you hurt yourself often ?"
You burry your face in your hands, ashamed and keep sobbing.
Eddie gets up from the bench and kneel before you, taking your hands away from your face. He lift your chin up so you can look at him before saying "You don't have to answer YN, but I want you to know that you can tell me anything, I'd never judge you or tell anyone what you tell me"
"I do..." you end up answering
Eddie look at you with saddened eyes before searching for a pen and a paper through his bag, he writes down his adress and phone number and hands it to you.
"The next time you want to do that, call me or  come see me, I'll try taking your mind off of it, and if you can't help but do it, I'll at least clean your cuts"
You take the paper after thanking him.
"Do you want me to bring you back home ?" You nod, you and Eddie go back to your car, once you've unlocked the car Eddie opens the passenger door for you.
"What are you doing ?" you say
"Driving you home" Eddie answers
"But what about your car ?"
"Don't worry for me YN, I won't let you drive when you're all shaken up, please let me do that for you"
You nod and climb on the passenger seat. Eddie close your door before climbing on the driver's seat. You give him the direction to your home. The ride is silent, but it's a comfortable silence. Once you arrive, Eddie open the passenger door for you before leading you to your door.
You unlock your door when Eddie says "See ya tomorrow YN !"
"Can you... can you stay please" you ask
Eddie look at you before saying "Of course I can, I have nothing better to do anyway, I can stay until your parents come back"
"Thank you so much" you say with a weak smile.
You lead Eddie to the couch and instruct him to sit down.
"I know you've been wanting to ask me something all the way home, please go ahead, ask me, whatever it is I'm prepared."
"Why do you hurt yourself ?"
You take a shaky breath before answering "Because the pain I feel inside of me is eating me alive, when I cut myself my focus is on another kind of pain, one that hurt less than the pain inside of me"
Eddie takes your hand. "I'm sorry, I wish I could take away some of your pain"
After this conversation, Eddie cheered you up, he made some jokes to make you laugh, you listened to Iron Maiden together, and when it was time for him to leave you kissed him on the cheek and Eddie was all flustered.
The next days, you spent a lot of time together and Eddie was always trying to put a smile on your face, he was doing everything in his power to make you forget the demons from your past, and it worked, every time you were with him  you were laughing and smiling. Thanksgiving holidays were approaching, which meant you would be all by yourself for a week. But you decided that you won't tell Eddie, he has to enjoy Thanksgiving holidays with his family, he needs to take time for himself. You can't ask him to spend his entire holiday with you even though you'd really like that. You can't be selfish, he's done so much for you in the past weeks.
This is the last day before the holidays and you decided to go to school with your style, you put on a black Metallica t-shirt with a black ripped jean, Doc Martens and let your tattoos show, you didn't tell Eddie that you would come to school like that, when you entered the hall, everyone was whispering, you went to class and sat at the last raw, next to Eddie's usual place.
Eddie was late as usual, when he entered the class he saw everyone whispering but paid no further attention, until his eyes spotted you. When he looked at you, his jaw dropped, he didn't think you'd be ready yet. He went to sit next to you and saw you figdeting and your knee bounce, you two had gotten really close in the past weeks so he put his hand on your knee and look at you, a look meaning 'I'm here for you'. The class go by and you keep fidgeting but Eddie keeps his hand on your knee until the teacher notice.
"Can I help you Mister Munson" she says
"I'm sorry Miss, I wasn't feeling well and Eddie was showing me emotional support" you answer
"The freak help the freak" says a cheerleader. Chrissy turn to you with an apologetic smile.
"Mrs Smith, I didn't ask for a comment, Mr Munson just remove your hand from her knee"
Eddie look at you before doing so, you nod, making him understand that it's okay. Deep down it isn't and you know that you aren't going to your next class.
When the bell ring, you don't even wait for Eddie and run to the bathroom, you lock yourself until the bell ring to indicate that the next class is starting.
Eddie enter the next class, he scans the room but doesn't see you, he doesn't care about what the teacher will say, he just get out of the room, ignoring the teacher who was ordering him to come back to class. He knew where you were but he also knew that you were hurting yourself, he knows how hard it had been for you and also know you weren't ready to handle everything that was coming with assuming your style, your mental health was still very fragile even though Eddie had helped you a lot. He had to find you, you needed him now more than ever.
You were sat at the picnic table, looking blankly at your bloody wrist when Eddie found you, he sat next to you and you were so afraid that you disappointed him that you decided to speak first, looking at your shoes.
"I'm sorry Eddie, I couldn't help it"
Eddie looks at you with a saddened but understanding look. "I'm not mad YN, I promise, let me fix this."
Eddie goes through his bag and take out some gauze and a bottle of antiseptic, he always has it in his bag since the first time he saw you hurt yourself, just in case. He didn't have to use it in a while, but he knew that you would probably relapse one day, and Eddie was glad he didn't take it out of his bag.
Eddie put some antiseptic on the gauze and started cleaning your wounds, he then looked at you in the eyes before saying "I really like your style" Eddie is grinning, even though he shouldn't be flirty, he can't help, you're just so beautiful, even more when you’re yourself. Eddie doesn't care about your scars, and even if it saddened him, the fact that you happened to hurt yourself wasn't something that made him run away. Eddie fell for you in those few weeks you spent together.
"Thank you for cleaning this up, and for the compliment" you blush at each special attentions.
"You’re not so bad yourself Munson" you added
Eddie got closer to you and took your hand in his. "I have something to tell you YN, and I know that now might not be the best timing but I can't keep it to myself anymore."
"I love you Eddie" you blurt out without thinking. When you realize what you just say you put your left hand on your mouth and take your hand away of Eddie's, ready to leave.
Eddie grabs you by the wrist and kisses you passionately before saying "I was going to say that I love you more than I should love a friend. And please don't interrupt me, let me finish. I really enjoy every moment with you, and I'm proud of you for coming to school like that, I'm proud of you for not self harming for weeks. Yes you've relapsed today, but relapse is part of recovery and please believe me when I say that you can tell me when you've done it, I'd rather be there for you, help you clean it up and help taking away your guilt than not knowing what you're going through. You've come such a long way YN, and I'm so so proud of you. I love you and nothing can change that."
You have tears in your eyes, what Eddie said is so beautiful, you don't even know what to answer to that, no one as never been this kind to you before and it's overwhelming, so instead of saying anything you hug him and don't let go.
It is Thanksgiving today, your parents left in order to spend Thanksgiving with your grand-parents as well as your aunts and uncles that you don't particularly appreciate, that's why you decided to stay home. You have been trying out outfits all morning long to find the perfect outfit and now you found it, you're gonna wear a black leather dress, tights and heeled boots, you put on some black eye liner, mascara and red lipstick. You've just finished putting your hair in a tight bun when you hear Eddie's van pulling up in your backyard. You rush to the door taking your keys and bag. Your run in Eddie's arms and hug him tight, your legs around his waist. Eddie chuckles and kiss you before saying "Ready to spend Thanksgiving with me and my uncle ?"
You seem a bit stressed so Eddie looks at you in the eyes before saying "Wayne is gonna love you YN, I'm sure of that"
You spend the ride hand in hand, listening to your favorite song, 'Rainbow In the Dark' by Dio.
"Eddie ?" you say, breaking the silence
"Mmh" he answers
"You are my Rainbow in the dark"
Eddie smiles and squeezes your hand. "I love you Sweetheart"
" I love you too Eddie"
And as Eddie predicted Wayne loves you and you spent the best Thanksgiving you've ever spent, surronded by people you feel safe around. Not thinking once about hurting yourself. Eddie is really your Rainbow in the dark.

Metal type; Eddie Munson x reader
*Author's note*
Well this came at a funny moment, plus after seeing some posts of how Eddie Munson and Patrick Verona from 10 things I hate about you are similar, I figured why not do this fic with a fun little twist at the ending. Unlike my Halloween fic there's not much warnings here but I'll still list them as followed:
Warnings: parental death, grief, drugs (not hardcore just cigarettes and joints mentioned), some angst but ends with fluff at the end.
Enjoy the fic my darlings :)

_________________________________________________________
There’s been a lot of rumors going around lately.  Now me I typically stay out of that gossiping chain because it’s just a bunch of hens clucking up the coop where they don’t need to be sticking their beaks into.  But when the rumor’s involve (Y/n), that starts perking up my ears like a deer.
Now lately my girl’s (well at least in my head she’s my girl, I haven’t gotten the balls to ask her out yet but I have my reasons! Like this for example) been going through a rough patch.  Her mom just passed away from breast cancer and it’s been hard on her not only having to go through the whole funeral process and trying to figure out how to keep the house, and trying to deal with all of that whilst still going to school and trying to finish off senior year.
She shouldn’t need all this stress.  She deserves to have fun her last year of school, not be dealing with house mortgage, trying to sell her mom’s stuff or put it in storage, keep paying off the funeral and hospital bills, Jesus Christ she shouldn’t deal with this.  Now I have tried to at least help her but she’s been pushing me away telling me and the guys that she’s fine and that she doesn’t want to burden us with all this family drama.
Now I may have been young when I lost my mom, but I remember the stress that Wayne felt having to go through mom’s stuff since my old man sure as hell wasn’t going to do any of it.  But that’s not even the worst part of the rumors.
Hawkins is a small town where everyone knows everyone blah blah blah blah, but there is a new face that’s been around Hawkins since the start of the new year.  Some guy from Seattle named Patrick Verona.  Now if I’m honest, he seems like a descent guy.  Good taste in music, pretty metal looking, not into sports or anything like most guys are.  But he’s been hanging around (Y/n) far too much and he doesn’t even go to our school and yet people are saying they’re dating.
Again I’ve tried not to believe the rumors but I have seen how Patrick seems to be there whenever (Y/n) is too depressed to be around anyone else.  Always having an arm around her, allowing her a shoulder to cry on, and even kissing her tears away.  I can do all of that, hell we’ve been friends since middle school! Why can’t she allow me to do any of that stuff for her!? I want to be there for her so why isn’t she letting me help her out!?
It was lunchtime and once again (Y/n) hadn’t shown up for lunch.  I silently munched on my pretzels.
“(Y/n) not joining us again?” I heard Henderson say.
“Nope.” Said Jeff.
“I think I heard she went off with that Patrick guy again. Saw his bike coming up during third block just before the lunch bell rang.” Said Gareth.
“And my best guess is she’s gonna miss Hellfire again.” Whined Wheeler.
“Back off Wheeler!” I snapped throwing a pretzel at his head.  “She has a very good excuse to miss so many meetings. Grief isn’t something that can just be put on hold like a stupid laundry basket game or a dentist appointment.”
“Ow! Jesus…..” Wheeler whined.
“He didn’t mean it Eddie.” Henderson tried to lighten up Wheeler’s insensitive comment.
“Really cause I think he was making a statement on how I should run my club. Am I wrong Wheeler?” I sneered lowly.
“No Eddie I swear I didn’t mean it like that. I’m sorry.” Even for his weak-ass apology, I dropped it and went back to my snacked lunch.
“To be fair though Eddie, normally this many missed Hellfire meetings results in automatic banishment from the club. You sure you ain’t just going easy on her because you love her?” Gareth said bluntly.  I smacked him upside the head.
“Continue to say stupid shit like that and I’ll think about the banishment for another member of this group.” I threatened which got him to shut up and look back down at his tray.  When I looked up I soon spotted (Y/n) heading for the back doors.
Quickly I grabbed my lunchbox and chased after her.  I at least wanted to check up on her and see how she’s been doing since last I saw her a week or so ago.
“(N/n) wait! Wait!” I charged out the main doors of the school and she turned to face me.
“Oh Eddie, it’s you.”
“Yeah, sorry bout that didn’t mean to startle you.”
“You didn’t.” she looked extremely exhausted.  Bags upon bags were under her eyes and the poor thing looked exhausted.  The usual bubbly girl that I loved was nothing more than a shell of her former self.  Hell this girl would even sleep in class, the one thing she’s never done for as long as I’ve known her.
“So—so listen I uhh—I know it’s been hard lately for you. But I-uhh…I was wondering if you’d like to uhh…..have a movie night after Hellfire at my place? I’ll let you pick out any of your favorites, even if it’s that cheesy rom-com shit that I don’t like.”
“Eddie, that’s sweet of you but I—”
Tumblr media
“Hey girlie, everything alright here?” that Australian accent (which I think is fake) came up and soon Patrick came up wrapping an arm around (Y/n)’s shoulders and in his other hand a bag of McDonalds, all the while holding a toothpick between his teeth.
“Everything’s fine Patrick.” My jaw ticked as (Y/n) introduced us, “I don’t think you both have been properly introduced. Eddie this is Patrick, Pat this is Eddie Munson.”
“Ohh Eddie? The Eddie Munson? Well nice to meet you mate.” Being the gentleman, we both shook hands and I said trying not to sound condescending.
“You too man. Nice ride.”
“What that old thing? A hand me down by my dad. Trying to save up for a real sweet ride. May even take this little lady for a joy ride. God knows she needs it.” He lightly jostled her which made her smile what almost resembled her real, sunshine smile (the smile that I always got out of her, the smile that rivals all the stars in the sky, the smile that I wish I could make her do again, but they all seem to be reserved for Patrick Verona now).
“So uhh about……” I started back up the conversation between (Y/n) and I but she said.
“Eddie I’m sorry but Patrick and I have some plans tonight. Maybe some other time?”
“Yeah, yeah sure no uhh—no problem. Just figure I’d offer.” I said nonchalantly as I stuffed my hands in my pockets and kicked a couple of pebbles at my feet.
“And Eddie, about Hellfire I……”
“No need. Your temporary leave is still accepted. Just come to me whenever you’re ready to return.”
“Thanks for understanding Eddie.”
“C’mon sugar glider, better get going before someone sees us.” Patrick said as he took them over to his bike.
“See yah around Eddie.” She said to me.
“Yeah, yeah see yah.” She got behind Patrick and wrapped her arms around him as he placed a second helmet on her head before revving his bike and pulled on out of the parking lot driving off down the road. “That manipulative son of a bitch.” I walked back inside and prepared for the remaining day of hell.
The day came and went and I found myself over at Family video just to browse but also to return some of the movies that needed to be returned (they may also have been late I honestly can’t remember).
“And he just waltz up and has her pinned up to his side like an ornament.” I ranted.  “And seriously I cannot take that accent seriously, don’t you think it’s fake?”
“Eddie, you’ve gotta stop obsessing over this Patrick guy, it’s not healthy.” Robin told me.
“I can’t Robin! The guy’s completely taking advantage of her! I can’t just sit idly by anymore as some metal-head biker punk comes into town, and swoops down at her like a hawk.”
“You know it is kinda scary how he almost resembles you. Same wild hair, same eyes, you sure you don’t gotta brother or something?” Steve asked as he was stacking some videos.
“Not helping here Harrington.” I grumbled.
“Eddie, how do you know this is like a romantic thing? I mean, take me and Steve. We hang out all the time and we’re not together.”
“Oh absolutely not. Yet I’ll always have Robin’s back if she needs it.”
“Strictly platonic. With a capital PLAH. Have you seen them kiss on the lips?”
“No. But that doesn’t mean they probably don’t do it behind closed doors. Plus couples don’t always make lip to lip contact in public.”
“You can kiss platonically too. I see the cheerleaders doing it all the time, course it’s that fake Barbie air-cheek kiss but still they do it. You’re letting your imagination run wild, again.”
“Plus man if you had told her how you felt in the first place, maybe this wouldn’t be happening.” Steve added.
“I told you man, I was going to tell her but then she got the call from the hospital about her mom’s diagnosis. It—didn’t feel right to tell her. She needed her best friend, not a confession to think over while her mom’s dealing with sudden stage 4 breast cancer.”
“I agree with him on that Steve.” Robin said.
“Okay, okay but still you just…..gotta relax, okay? Look maybe he’ll move on after a while and forget about (Y/n).”
“It’s impossible to forget about her, that girl can make anyone fall in love with her.” I grumbled.  The bell rang and speak of the devil himself, Patrick came strolling in and he said.
“I’m told this is where you can get some good films.”
“Yeah, yeah what can we help you with?” Steve spoke up.
“Something upbeat and funny. Sugar glider needs it for tonight.” Sugar glider? Wait that’s what he had called (Y/n) yesterday, she isn’t…..after rejecting our daily movie night she goes off and has a movie night with this asshole? I swear if he weren’t so relatable, I’d beat his ass right now.
“Okay well comedies are just over there man.”
“Thanks mate, say you two wouldn’t happen to be Steve Harrington and Robin Buckley would you?”
“We are, how do you know our names?” Robin said.
“(Y/n) has told me a lot about you two. Especially how you two have been helping her out with sorting through her mum’s belongings. My thanks to you both.” So she goes off and tells this guy about all of us but she doesn’t say a word about you?
“Yeah, yeah it was no problem. She’s helped us out so it was only fitting we’d help her out.” Robin said as she was stacking some tapes along the shelf.  As Patrick picked out some of (Y/n)’s favorite comedies like Beverly Hills Cop, Ferris Buller’s Day off, Back to the Future, and the Princess Bride. As Robin rang them up for him, he turned to me and asked, “Now (Y/n) told me you’re the one to go to with some good deals on weed. You got anything in stock?”
Weed? Doesn’t he know that (Y/n) hates the smell of weed? Hell the girl’s allergic to cigarette smoke! Which is why I always make it appoint to never, ever under any circumstances wear the same clothes I smoke in around her let alone smoke around her.  Hell I’ll have the trailer burning multiple scented candles just to rid of the smell, yeah it gives me and Wayne headaches but it’s worth it so that she’s comfortable.
“What’s the occasion?” I demanded.
“Nothing special, just need a refill. Ran out of my own stuff and of course (Y/n) don’t have anything.” Jesus this guy is really gonna smoke around her?
“Regretfully I’m out of stock at the moment.”
“Damn, oh well. Gas station always has some smokes.” Jesus this guy is a grade A asshole.  And not in the popular jock standard, I mean just straight up insensitive asshole.  “Later.” He then walked out after paying for the videos.
“You see what I mean?!” I snapped lowly.
“The guy’s just asking for some smokes Eddie. You do it all the time.” Said Steve.
“Yeah but not around (Y/n)! Jesus I don’t even know why I’m still talking to you guys.” I rubbed my face into my hands in annoyance.
“Eddie, why don’t you just go home? Relax, have a drink, and just get your mind off of Patrick and (Y/n). I’m telling you you’re getting too involved in this and your imagination is running away with you.” Suggested Robin.  I stuffed my hand into the twizzlers jar taking a handful of them, bit into one and stormed out of the store.
As I lay across my bed twirling a twizzler in my hand I couldn’t help but think about (Y/n) and Patrick.  The more I thought about them together, the more my blood boiled and my other hand kept fidgeting with my rings.
“Screw it!” I sneered lowly before getting up, grabbing my keys and racing off toward her house.  I parked a bit off from her house and slowly walked up towards her hedges and hid behind them.  I slowly peeked over her window and saw (Y/n) sitting on the couch talking on the phone with someone while her TV was paused on Beverly Hills Cop.
Patrick soon came in with two beers and plopped down right next to her.  He set the beers down and had an arm wrapped around her and he looked at her concerningly.  His ringed hand stroking the top of her shoulder.  She then hung the phone up and I saw her lower her face into her hands in defeat.  Patrick stroked his hand through her hair and the two of them briefly exchanged words.
I then watched as (Y/n) got up from the couch but Patrick suddenly grabbed her by her waist and pulled her over his lap and he gave her a peck to her forehead.  She gave him a gently slap to the chest before he allowed her to get up off his lap.  But again, just as she walked two steps, he sat up, grabbed her by the waist again and pulled her back across his lap and pecked her twice this time on both her cheeks.  She shoved at his face playfully and told him something that I couldn’t understand but he allowed her to get up a third time.
As she got up, he then grabbed her and they playfully went down to the ground as he wrestled on top of her tickling her, I could hear the faint sounds of her laughter coming out from the window.
So it is true, she really did find someone better than me.  Well if that’s her decision then—I can’t stop her.  But this guy should at least have the decency in knowing of what she likes.  I walked over to the door and knocked on it rapidly.  I heard the laughter stop and footsteps coming to the door and opening it was (Y/n)m her hair a bit disheveled from their wrestling I had just seen.
“Eddie, what are you—”
“I need to talk to Patrick.”
“Uhh okay.” I didn’t wait for her to open the door as I just stormed in.  When I saw him getting up from the floor, he looked up at me and said.
“Well this is a surprise. Did you end up finding some smokes left over?” that smug-eating grin came across his face.
“Even if I did have any smokes or left over joints, I would tell you one thing. Don’t you ever smoke it around (Y/n), okay? She can’t stand the smell of it, not to mention she’s allergic to cigarette smoke. And that’s no joke, okay? Her breathing becomes so tight she can barely breathe, it’s like she’s going into anaphylactic shock if she even smells a whiff of it. So if you’re gonna date her, don’t you ever do that in front of her.”
“What?” he said confused with a head tilt.
“No, no you pay attention because you don’t know just how lucky you are man!” I snapped.  I jostled his shoulders and emphasized each point I made with a firm poke to his chest.  “You better treat this lady like a Queen, okay? Because if I had someone like (Y/n) (L/n) I would bring her her favorite flowers every chance I got. And they aren’t roses because she says roses are too cliché, you understand? Her favorite flowers are blue orchids, you got that blue orchids. Because they bring out her bright, beautiful eyes. And when she’s sick, she gets chicken ramen just like how her mom used to make for her with a side of saltine crackers. I would be her shoulder to cry on and her best friend. And I would spend every second of every day trying to get her to smile because she—she has the most beautiful smile that I’ve missed so much. And that I would do anything to see that smile again.”
I turned to look at (Y/n) who was staring at me with this wide-eyed look of awe.  Even though my heart was aching at the fact I had now spilled my feelings for her even though she’d never be mine, I—I had to at least let her know that I’ll always be there for her.
“But she chose you. So……you better do just that. And much more to make her happy, especially now. Because that’s what I would do.” I released Patrick’s shoulders and went to walk out the door but (Y/n) quickly got to the door before me and shut it, staring up at me with soft but sad eyes.
We both stared at each other until she slowly walked towards me.  I looked down shamefully but I soon felt her take my face in between her hands and her lips soon met mine.  Her arms slid around my neck and I wrapped mine around her waist bringing her closer to me as I kissed her back.
“See what’d I tell yah? He’s your penguin.” Patrick’s voice said.  We separated and saw he was leaning up against the wall, toothpick in mouth with a wide grin.
“What?”
“Eddie, I’d like for you to formally meet Patrick Verona. My cousin.” She told me.  I looked to Patrick in shock who grinned at us again and gave me a two-finger salute.
“Your—your cousin……”
“Well when we call each other cousins its more loosely. I treat my little sugar glider like she’s my little sister.” Patrick told me.
“He’s been a real familial support system that I haven’t been getting with the rest of the family ever since mom got sick. After the funeral he just—showed up and he’s been staying here ever since helping me out with all this stuff.”
“Aunt (M/n) was the glue that kept the family together and ever since her death, the family’s been divided and (Y/n) has been stuck in the middle while still trying to finish school. I couldn’t let her go through all that drama and stress alone. One of us has to at least be successful, right sis?” He gave her a wink which made (Y/n) shake her head.
“They were right, I’m a complete dumbass.” I muttered.
“Look mate, any man whose willing to allow me to take this girl as my own, is a real man in my books. Even though if we did hook up we’d have some ugly-ass kids.” The three of us softly laughed.  Patrick came up to me and placed a strong hand to my shoulder softly jostling it around, “You know, I haven’t heard my little sugar glider talk about a boy the way she talks about you Eddie Munson. Now I see that you are truly something special to my little cousin.” I turned over to (Y/n) and said.
“More than anything in this whole world.” (Y/n) softly smiled as she placed her hand over her heart.
“Then you have my permission to date her, but just know this. If you ever break her heart or mistreat her,” the sound of a switchblade came out and I froze as the gleam of the blade came below my chin.
“Patrick!” (Y/n) exclaimed. As quick as he had brought it out, he sheathed it back and put it back into his pocket.
“Just for a word of warning.” He gave me a hard pat on the back and walked out ruffling (Y/n) hair before saying.  “Be back in a few hours, don’t have too much fun you two lovebirds.” Patrick then left the house leaving the two of us alone.
“I am so sorry about that, I swear that man acts like the fucking Joker sometimes.”
“He’s more metal than I ever could be.” (Y/n) came up and wrapped her arms around me.
“I think you are just the right amount of metal for me Eddie.”
“Really?”
“Really, really.” We both smiled and kissed each other again when a bang at the window spooked us apart and there stood Patrick giving us a warning glare (well mainly at me).  (Y/n) flipped him off and tossed a pillow at the window.  He stuck his tongue mockingly before disappearing from the window.
So the rest of the night was spent cuddling up on the couch watching her favorite movies until we both ended up falling asleep together.  By morning I noticed a blanket had been put around us both and I knew I wasn’t the one to have done it and neither had (Y/n).  There I saw a note on the table and it read:
Take care of my little sugar glider. And if you’re ever interested in some embarrassing stories she hasn’t told you from when we were kids, meet me for some smokes later this evening at the Hideout.
Patrick
I smiled and looked down at my best girl and kissed the top of her head.  At least we both had something in common besides physical appearances and our outlook on the world, we both care deeply for this girl that’s in my arms and want nothing but the best for her as she tries to move on from her grief.

I'm just Ken
Tumblr media
Eddie dressed up like Ken for Halloween because you made him. Now that may seem like you're a couple...when you think of Ken you think of him dating Barbie but alas you two aren't together. Where he sees love, it's clear you just see a friend.
Either way, he was just excited to hang out with you. When he first heard that Steve was throwing a Halloween party he was planning on bailing. He had a date with the couch and cheesy horror movies but then he got a call from you squealing on and on about how you found the cutest Barbie costume but you just needed a Ken to accessorize with. Hearing the excitement in your voice made his heart race. Thinking of you wanting him to be your Ken! That made his heart race even more so he agreed but as soon as he hung up he felt a sense of dread fall on him. There was no more of your joyful voice telling him that you'll plan the whole thing, there was just the feeling that he now has now that he realized that the whole night he'll have to do the sad nod and explain no you aren't dating...sadly.
This feeling really carries with him for the next few days but as soon as he saw you the feeling vanishes. All he can feel are these weird excitement butterflies, if he's being truthful he only gets this feeling when he sees you. As he is daydreaming you finally approach him and it isn't until your voice graces the air that he snaps out of it. "Are we still on for Saturday?" You asked hopeful, as if he would ever flake on you. "Of course we are sweetheart" He says as nonchalantly as he possibly can, trying his hardest to not show that his heart is pounding out of his chest. A faint blush dusted your cheeks and if he wasn't staring in awe at you he would've completely missed the pink. You end up saying goodbye before he can question what he saw and to his dismay he doesn't get to see you again until you are knocking on his front door with a bag of makeup and the costumes in your arms.
He opens the door as soon as he hears the knocking and you immediately rush in. "Oh, Eddie! I have never been so excited for a party before! Look at what I got us!" You walk further into the small trailer and lay the costumes out on the couch. Eddie's eyes wince at all the hot pink but he makes sure that you just see a smile. "That looks great" he mutters as he watches you gather your stuff once more and leave to the bathroom. "Get dressed! I'll be ready in a few!" You call out from behind the bathroom door and all he can do is chuckle and grab what is left in front of him. Damn. This is going to be a long night. He thinks to himself as he starts to change.
Thankfully his outfit contained no pink at all. It also doesn't contain a shirt...He ties his bandana around his head and fixes the fur coat to sit more on his shoulders. As he walks out of his room, you walk out of the bathroom and walk right into his bare chest. You squeal and take a step back to get a good look at him. "Eddie! Oh, you look amazing!" You smile up at him with a big, bright pink smile and his cheeks nearly match the shade of lipstick you chose. You grip his arm and pull him to the door, "Come on Ed we have to go or we will be late!"
At the party, the first people you run into are Steve and Robin, who are also Barbie and Ken ironically. Steve chuckles seeing the version of Ken you chose to go along with your Barbie and Eddie looks him up and down. "Hi, Barbie!" You and Robin say at the same time with sharp little waves. Steve waves to Eddie, "Hi...Ken?" This makes Eddie roll his eyes, "I'm the much better Ken."
Robin chuckles and then asks, "So, are you like rock star Ken or something?" Eddie shakes his head and shrugs, "I'm just Ken"
It isn't long until Eddie loses his Barbie, he sighs and walks to the punch bowl hoping that someone has already spiked it. Not shortly after his arrival Steve walks over and Eddie looks towards him with a look on his face "Is this our destiny? I'm going to be honest with you Harrington, these feelings I'm having for her...god they're driving me insane" Steve looks over at him feeling bad for his friend "well what are the feelings? How do you feel about her?" Eddie just shakes his head as he watches you dance out on the dance floor with Robin and sighs. "I can't even explain them."

Author note: This came to me as I was listening to the song again one day when I was driving. When I hit 400 followers I think I'll do a song blurb prompt list thing but I'm not sure yet. Also HAPPY OCTOBER! Literally one of my favorite months and I'm hoping to write more Halloween-themed things! Love you all <3

You're mine
Eddie Munson x f!reader
summary: Eddie lets slip that he wants to be more than your friend (just pure fluff really)
word count: 742
warnings: none
masterlist
Tumblr media
"Look, Eds, there's no shame in it! The girl's hot! I just didn't think cheerleaders were really your... type." You're sat on Eddie's bed, laughing as he paces the length of his room with a look on his face that could kill. He'd mentioned being out in the woods with Chrissy and you couldn't help but tease, I mean... come on, Eddie Munson with Chrissy Cunningham? It's not exactly who you'd picture either of them spending time with.
"You know for a fact that it's not like that, y/n," he laughs back at you, "and you're absolutely right Chrissy is not my type. I was selling! It was purely business!" The way he throws his hands up makes you burst into fits of laughter again, carrying on your teasing.
"You were selling yourself?!" You joke, gasping dramatically and throwing your hands over your mouth, falling backwards onto the mattress. "I can't believe you, Munson! Selling that pretty face of yours and not letting me sample the goods, come on now, you know better than that!"
"Oh no, no, I'm not some cheap whore, princess," he jokes back, "you couldn't afford me even if you wanted to." He smiles, wide and bright, laughing as you gasp again.
"I could afford you, Munson, don't pull that crap," smiling back you stretch your arms over your head, "plus, you like me too much, you'd give me a discount." You throw him a playful wink, watching as he groans and collapse down next to you on the bed.
"Yeah, you're right... 50% off if you show me your tits first." Eddie laughs as you go to smack him on the chest, feigning disgust at the idea. "Hey!" he shouts, acting as though you really did hurt him.
For a few moments you both lie in comfortable silence, staring at the ceiling, until Eddie speaks up again.
"If I'm being honest though I'd give you anything you wanted for free if you asked me."
His comment has a deep blush creeping onto your face, and your breathing going shallow as he turns to look at you.
"Don't say things like that if you don't mean them, Eds." You smile at him, trying to keep your tone light as his eyes dart over your features.
"No, I mean it, sweetheart." His voice lowers to just above a whisper. "I mean it." He says again, more sure of himself this time. His eyes keep flicking between yours and your lips, and you can tell he's building up to say more, so you keep your mouth shut, not wanting to scare him off whatever it is that he's thinking. "All you'd have to do is ask." He whispers, staring at your lips now, watching as they part ever so slightly.
"Eddie..." you whimper out, almost pathetically as you stare back, unsure of yourself, the blush on your cheeks almost burning now.
"Ask, princess. Please." Eddie can't take his eyes off you, fingers fidgeting with his rings to stop himself from reaching out without permission. He needs to hear it, hear you tell him that you want him. There's nothing that he wants more, nothing he'd rather hear from your mouth than...
"Please Eddie," his breathing comes to a halt as you more your hand to fist at his shirt, pulling the material to drag him towards you, "kiss me."
He moves like a man possessed, landing on top of you, propped up on his hands as he attaches his lips to yours, mumbling against your lips "all I've ever wanted" as he drags one hand across your cheek and into your hair.
His lips feel so soft against yours, it almost feels as though you're dreaming as he moans quietly into your mouth, moving in sync with you and letting you take the lead as you deepen the kiss.
It pains you both to pull away, a pitiful whimper leaving your lips as he hovers over you.
"I've wanted you for so long, sweetheart. Let me be yours, please. I'll be so good to you, baby, you'll have everything, anything." He sounds pained, almost begging as he searches your face for
"You're mine." You say, almost in disbelief as you smile up at him, laughing as you place both hands on either side of his face and pull him down for one more kiss.
"I'm yours." He mumbles into your mouth as he pulls away, smiling ear to ear.

"...So we should go on a date, then. I'll take you to dinner."
Eddie sidles up quietly against the wall, risking a peek around the corner to check before he waves Steve over. Yep, Wheeler was right–there you are, leaning against the school outside with Jason fucking Carver, who cannot physically get any closer to you without it being considered a felony.
"No shit," Steve pokes his head out over his boyfriend's, whispering incredulously because Eddie knows he can't believe it either. Of course, the one person in the school that they both despise the most is making a move on you. Steve rubs Eddie's shoulder, hoping to soothe him as the two of them watch from their position of relative safety.
"Um, aren't you…aren't you and Chrissy..?" Jason shakes his head at you, but he's still smiling like he's still got it all under control.
"Nah, she…I heard she's been sleeping around. So I dumped her–girls like that aren't worth it. Not like you."
"That's not true!" Eddie whispers–he knows Chrissy, she's a sweet girl, and she definitely dumped him because he made one too many awful comments about her appearance. What a fucking liar. But he maybe says it a touch too loudly, because Jason's brow raises and just as he turns to look around, Steve grabs Eddie by the collar and yanks him back around the wall to hide. But once they hear you start talking again, they both slowly sneak a peek once more, knowing that Jason's eyes will be on you and you alone.
"Thank you, uh, I'm flattered, but…"
"But? Is there a but? C'mon, just one date." Such a pushy bastard, it's annoying enough to Eddie, but looking up he can see that Steve's practically got steam coming out of his ears. You fidget with your sleeve, the bag slung over your shoulder swaying as you do so while you try not to look him directly in the eye. "You're so cute when you get shy. C'mon, babe."
Oh, that "babe" is almost enough for Eddie to go fucking berserk, and he can feel that Steve is feeling the same–but they both agreed not to intervene unless it was totally necessary. They might be totally whipped for you, but they're not your babysitters and they both know that if they start acting like it, you'll just end up resenting them. Plus, the three of you are good friends right now, and you're one of the very few that doesn't think them dating is weird or somehow related to the devil, so to mess that up would result in a lot of nights moping around and watching sad movies in each other's laps that neither of them are emotionally prepared for at the moment.
"Y'know, we could even do some more stuff if you wanted…a little birdie told me that you have yet to lose something." You look scared. This is nowhere near good. Steve's hand digs into his shoulder, hard.
"Um…I-I…"
"It's okay to be inexperienced, babe. I can show you how to do it…show you how to make love. You can trust me–even if that's all you want, I'll let you use me for it." How manipulative can he be? Eddie knows there's no way you would ever do something like that, but he can also see now that Jason really just wants to get into your pants. Figures, he doesn't deserve your kindness or any part of you, so he's just scraping to get whatever he can, like a rat–and it gets worse when Jason starts touching your face, trying to get you to look at him. Steve quietly growls a "don't" from above him, kind of like a dog getting territorial. It's kinda hot, if he's being honest…focus. He has to focus.
"I'm not a virgin,"
You finally breathe, your eyes flicking up to meet the blond's whose hand is still on your chin.
"And you're not my type. Sorry." You gently push his hand away, and wait with shaky hands for him to back off. But both Eddie and Steve's anger increases when he just dips his face closer to you, almost like he's gonna kiss you–Eddie has to put a hand on Steve's chest to stop him from lunging forward, whispering a "Stevie, calm down!" quiet enough that neither you nor Jason notice while you're in your own little world.
"What do you mean by that? Explain it to me, so I can understand." His voice is low, but angry, fury simmering just below the surface like he's close to blowing up. But if he thinks he can just intimidate you into doing what he wants, then he's got another thing coming.
"What…What is there to explain? You're a bully. You're cruel. I saw what you did to Gareth's hand," Your brow furrows–god, you're so pretty when you're mad–and Eddie finds himself breathless as you raise your hand to your chest and push him, just hard enough for Jason to take a step back with an incredulous look on his face. "And you're always calling my friend a freak."
"Who, Munson? He is a freak! Why would you even want to be friends with someone like him? You're too good for that."
"No, I'm too good for you." Jason just shakes his head in disbelief, a scoff on his lips. Eddie's chest is so tight, heart beating so fast at the protectiveness in your voice as you say his name. "Eddie's my friend. He's sweet, and he would do anything for his friends. He's nothing like you–and that's why I like him."
You like him. He's on cloud nine right now, he wouldn't even notice if the world was ending. All his dreams are coming true, even if he never imagined Jason would be involved with them at all.
"You like that queer? Are you fucking serious?"
"Shut up! You're a cunt, Jason!" You shove him again, hard this time, your words spit with venom and your fists shaking with anger. But he's so proud of you for stepping away, you're so mature, and you don't even look back at him as you start walking towards the side of the building where they're hiding–until you stop suddenly, and Eddie realizes that Jason's grabbing you by the wrist to drag you back to him.
"You do not walk away from me, you understand that?!"
"Let go of me! I'm gonna tell-" Jason slaps a hand over your mouth, and yanks you close enough that your faces are only a few inches from each other. Too close.
"Who's gonna believe you?" Your eyes widen, and it is far past the last straw. Steve is shouldering past him and dashing towards the scene before Eddie even realizes he's gone from his side.
"Hey!"
With the kind of strength that befits a former high school athlete, Steve runs up and wedges himself between you two so he can shove Jason off, breaking his grip and sending him stumbling back while your friend stands protectively over you. You look a little dazed, confused, but when Eddie hustles over to take your arm in his and soothe you, it sets in that you're safe and you gladly melt into his embrace. You're so warm, and you're scared, but…he just can't help thinking about how soft you feel against his chest.
"You touch her again, and I'll make sure you regret it."
"The fuck are you doing here, Harrington?" Jason spits, flushed and clearly jumped up from getting interrupted. Eddie doesn't even want to think about what would have happened if Wheeler hadn't tipped them off, what Jason might have done to you if they weren't here–but if he somehow wasn't sure before that he always wants to be there for you, then he absolutely does now.
"Oh, y'know, hanging out. Seeing some old friends. Defending pretty girls against creepy douchebags. Whatever strikes my fancy." Jason's eyes slide over to Eddie, who feels and probably looks a lot braver with Steve in between them. He can feel you tense up against him when Steve says that, and he pulls his arms tighter around you to hug you closer. It's relieving to feel that you're comfortable with him, enough that you're clinging to his jacket and subtly nuzzling even deeper into him.
"What was that you said, again? 'Who's gonna believe you'? I think the school counselor would love to hear that. Probably would have to let the basketball coach know, though. And you can say bye bye to the rest of the season." Steve sounds so confident when he's ripping him apart, it's honestly kind of…well, it's not something you might find attractive, but Eddie certainly does, and by the awed look in your eyes he can sense that you feel the same. "Gimme a reason, dude, cause I would love to kick your ass right now."
Jason looks between all three of you, frustrated and wounded by the blow Steve's managed to deal him, but the intensity only lasts a couple seconds. Because before long, he's made his choice, and he brushes you all off and stalks away with his hands shoved in the pockets of his letterman jacket.
"Oh, Jason! Almost forgot!" Both you and Eddie are surprised to see him actually stop and turn his head when Steve calls out to him, his glare violent enough that all three of you can almost feel the holes burning through you. "You ever get near my boyfriend again, or Hellfire, or her, I'll rip you many, many new ones. You just gimme the word, big boy."
Jason says nothing, just spits, and gives all three of you the finger which Steve gladly returns before he turns and disappears through the door into the school. By the time Steve moves to walk back towards you two, Eddie's loosened his hug to let you slip out, but you're still clutching at his arm like it's a pier in a storm.
"Don't be scared, honey. You're okay." Steve affectionately rubs your head, ruffling your hair a bit in the process. But he's a lot more gentle than when he does it to Dustin or the other kids, careful, and fortunately so when you've still got such a disturbed expression.
"I..I thought he was gonna.."
"He won't. Stevie's got us–look how strong he is." Eddie smiles over at you, and rubs the hand you've got gripping his sleeve so you can feel his rings against your skin.
"Did you, um…I don't know how much you heard of that.."
"Well, we got to hear you call him a cunt. That was fun." Your eyes turn back to Eddie, big and doe-like, and god, there's rarely been a time he's wanted to kiss you more than he does right now. "...And I heard what you said about me."
Fear strikes across your face, and you quickly avert your gaze from him like it's too much to even meet his eyes. He hates how shaky you still are, even when the danger has passed–he never wants you to be afraid of him, scared of what he's gonna say next. Ever.
"I-I…Eddie, I…I don't want to ruin what we have. And I…Steve, I'm sorry I-" Your voice is trembling, and even though your head is turned away he can clearly tell you're on the brink of tears. But that's when Steve pipes up, a hand brushing your cheek as he guides you to look up at him.
"You had a crush on me, right?" You stutter, taken aback by his query, but he just keeps going. "You were younger, I remember. I was a senior. You used to wear your hair like,"
He motions around his head, trying to charade his way into describing it before his hands land on his hips.
"Like that. It was cute."
Eddie knows you're not nearly as close with Steve–you would definitely be considered friends, but you mostly know Harrington through him and you haven't spent much time together alone. Before they started going out, that fact would relieve him. He didn't even know that you and Steve knew each other before you all started hanging out.
"Listen, Eddie's not gonna say it, but he likes you. And I like you. And from what I can tell, you might feel the same. So," He raises both hands up to show he's being vulnerable, and steps around you to stand closer to Eddie's side. "If you don't, that's totally cool. We can pretend none of this happened–but if you do, and you don't mind sharing, well…we can stop running after you like lost puppies to make sure you're okay."
You're speechless, clearly. Your eyes dart from one boy to the next, searching for some sign that they're gonna burst into laughter and admit that it was all an elaborate prank. But all Eddie does is keep stroking your hand, until you slowly release it from his jacket and let him take hold of it.
"Is…this really happening? This isn't a dream, right?" You're the one who's incredulous now, and the two of them look between each other as a spark of fear ignites. It's just now occurring to Eddie and his boyfriend both that they might have made a huge mistake by saying this right now.
"I…y'know what, now I'm thinking this might have been a bad time to say all that. I'm sorry, I just, seeing you scared like that-"
"Did you mean it?" You interrupt Steve's near-frantic babbling, your eyes now intense in a way that Eddie has to mentally slap himself to not find as incredibly hot.
"Well yeah, of course. We mean it, right Eds?"
"Damn right." You look between the two of them. Are you still questioning, he wonders? Will you walk away, thinking they were liars this whole time, just waiting for a chance to make fun of you?
"Do you…wanna get some dinner?" Only now does your question come out as meek, soft, just like the absolute goddess that first came to Eddie to ask if you could get something from the theatre while Hellfire club was in session. He still remembers that day so fondly, the way the club members teased him for how gently he spoke to you and how he paused the game for a whole ten minutes just to explain what they were doing to you. And the first time you got frustrated with him, yelled at him for something stupid he did that he doesn't even remember anymore, and how whipped he realized he was when he witnessed how forceful you were when you were worried about him.
"Oh, like…now?" Steve's voice breaks him from his reverie, he didn't even realize he was staring at you, or that your eyes flicked over to stare right back.
"Yeah." You bite your lip. Mercy.
"Yes," Eddie sighs, his eyes totally fixated on you, like he's already lovesick. "Anywhere you want. I'll pay for yours."
"Think again, Munson. Keep your money, I'll cover everyone's. C'mon, beautiful." He snaps his fingers in front of Eddie's face to bring him back to reality, drawing a giggle out of you in the process as he loops an arm around your waist and leads you away towards his car. He might have been left behind, if he wasn't still holding your hand–you give him a tug to pull him along with you, and he hurries up to walk on your opposite side from Steve.
It might be impossible to tell what's gonna happen next, what you're gonna say when you all sit down at a booth at the diner and have the conversation that he's been waiting so long to have–but it doesn't matter, none of it does. Because all those nights of lying awake with Stevie and talking to each other about you, about how perfect it would be to pull you into their little universe with them…now, it might be possible for it to all come true. There's a chance. And that's more than either of them could ever ask for from an angel like you.

The Lonely Princess and The Nerd Knight Pt.1
Eddie Munson x Rich! Reader
The Lonely Princess and The Nerd Knight Pt.2
Tumblr media
Summary: It's the first time you go to school after being homeschooled and your mother allowed you to, but it doesn't turn out the way you expected.
Author´s note: I've had this idea for so long that when I wrote it I couldn't stop, so I ended up with 9 pages and over 3k words for this first part alone. to be honest, I didn't think Tumblr would let me post it because of the word limit.
Warnings: bad words, fluff to angst, Eddie deserves the world, I was shaking while writing this because of the amount of fluff and the amount of angst. I hope you like it!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Your mother was the one who decided to move to an unknown place after your father had to stay working in Washington ‘perks of being a senator’ you always thought. Your father was from a family with a lot of money, while your mother was a working woman who was not accepted by your father's family. Because of this, your mother gave up her dream job so that your father's parents, your grandparents, would agree to help both your parents and you get the best life.
Thanks to this you knew how to play instruments, played several sports, spoke several languages and loved to read. However, being homeschooled, you didn't know much about socializing with people your own age, so your mother, having more freedom being at Hawkins without your father, decided to enroll you in high school for your senior year so you could live a normal year.
But she didn't think about the problems this could bring. Many students knew who you were and talked about you behind your back, especially since you didn't know exactly how to befriend them. Every day your mom bring you to school in a nice car, your clothes were always impeccable, your hair well-done and your make-up pretty and subtle. To the whole school you were untouchable, the perfect girl who never spoke and who was in the library every afternoon until you were picked up.
In the beginning, the basketball guys and cheerleader tried to invite you to different places but you didn't understand their definition of fun. "Come on! It's a party near the woods! There will be lots of alcohol and no adults!" said one of the girls as she played with her hair.
"What for?" you asked seriously. "It doesn't make sense to go to a place to drink and the next day you feel bad because of the headaches and dizziness they give" You continued confused causing the girls to look at each other to laugh and then turn their backs on you and leave, something you found really rude. Only one girl with her green uniform and copper hair stayed with you a little longer.
"It's okay if you don't want to go. You're still new in town and you'll find something you like" she offered you a gentle smile. "I like your sweater."
"Chrissy! Leave her alone!" the girls in the distance shouted making 'Chrissy' turn to look at them for a moment and then see you again.
"I have to go, but I'll see you later!" the girl said as she waved her hand in farewell. You, stunned by what had just happened, returned the gesture, then turned around to leave the school, where you found several boys chatting.
"Have you seen the new girl?" asked one of the guys. None of them had noticed you were nearby. "She's the daughter of someone important. I hear she has a lot of money."
"Forget the money, she has beautiful legs, can you imagine touching them?" replied another making the rest of them laugh.
"And let's not talk about her chest..." that's when you decided to move on to the car where they were already waiting to take you home.
Inside the car, your eyes filled with tears from the frustration you had inside. All your life you dreamed of going to some school where you could make friends and have a normal teenage life, but experiencing this in your first days at a normal school made you feel worse than you had imagined. It was as if everything you had been looking forward to was crumbling in front of you. Now you would have to spend your senior year like this.
"How did it go honey?" your mother asked from the seat in front of the wheel. You had never seen her drive a car before, apparently being away from your father and from stares that are criticizing her every move made her feel free.
"Hard mom, but tomorrow will be a new day" you said monotonously swallowing your feelings. Being here would do you both good. Or so you tried to convince yourself.
From that moment on you decided not to get involved with anyone at school, everyone knew your story and your economic status, you would not doubt that many would be interested in you just because of that, they would even take advantage of it. Days turned into weeks, and then into months. You simply focused on your studies and on not relating to people who would bring you nothing in life. Thanks to this, many people stopped laughing at you and began to treat you with respect when they saw that you were not going to fall into their game.
"You look beautiful babe" said a boy as he licked his lips. You just stood there, staring at him without any expression until the boy got uncomfortable and walked away with his friends as they talked about you. "She's a heartless fucking bitch" the boy said as the rest of his friends nodded. You watched him for a few seconds then turned around and continued walking to the cafeteria.
Inside you went straight to the table where you would sit alone until a couple of guys interrupted your path. Jason, the basketball captain, was chest to chest against Eddie Munson, the leader of the D&D club. Jason, seeing you standing in front of them pushed Eddie out of your way and then went to the table where his team was. His face red with anger. When you turned to look at Eddie, you saw that the boy lowered his head slightly and made a gesture with his hands as a sign for you to walk past him.
"After you, princess." Said the long haired guy, then turned and walked away to where his friends were. He didn't give you another look.
The rest of the day passed without anything else interesting. Classes continued as they usually are and you couldn't wait to get out of there. The last bell rang making everyone get up quickly to leave. You took your time as you packed your things in your backpack and then got up and walked out. The hallways were full of teenagers talking to their friends, some of them looked at you as if they were analyzing you while others didn't give you a second thought. In your locker you left some of your books that you didn't need to take out others that were for homework. Your gaze fell on your copy of "To Kill a Mockingbird" that your mother had secretly given you, you looked both ways and decided to put that book in your backpack as well, closing it quickly and then slamming your locker shut and leaving the school.
You weren't planning to go to the library that time, it was Friday so you decided to clear your mind with something else. In front of the school was a forest so you didn't hesitate to go for a walk in it. The only noise was the trees moving thanks to wind and the leaves rustling under your footsteps, the walk was relaxing, as if you could finally be free in a world where everyone's eyes are on you. It didn't take you long until you came across a picnic table in the middle of the forest, the place looked strange to you so you decided to approach to look at it, seeing that no one was coming, you put your backpack on the table to sit down and take out your book. The place was perfect for reading without interruptions. Or so you thought until a noise made you turn quickly.
Eddie Munson held up his hands as a sign that he wouldn't do anything bad to you as he made you jump with fright. His eyes were full of surprise to see you in the place where he always went to sell drugs to high school kids looking for a good time.
"Easy princess, I won't do anything to you" he commented as he slowly approached, seeing that you weren't going to leave, he sat down across from you. You just looked at him. "To Kiil a Mockingbird? Apparently the princess isn't so innocent after all, you know it's illegal to read that kind of book right?" he said with a smile.
You just looked at him for a few seconds and then closed the book and put it on your lap. "There's a reason I read it in a place away from people, Munson" You said looking him up and down seeing how his eyes widened more when he saw that you located him. "Or so I thought" you finished sarcastically making the boy let out a silent laugh.
"How do you know my name?" he asked as he clasped his hands together on the table.
"Everyone knows who you are, you're not someone who goes unnoticed" you replied as you equally placed your hands on the table, mimicking him. He just stared at you for a moment and then clasped his hands over his heart and fell backwards as if you had shot an arrow to his heart, when he got up he had leaves in his hair, shoulders and back.
"The town's princess knows who I am" he said as he paced back and forth dramatically making you raise the corner of your lips forming a small smile caused by his actions. "And she has also smiled in my presence! I have definitely been blessed today" he stretched out his arms making you shake your head as you looked down hiding your smile that was getting bigger and bigger.
"You're crazy" you said as you watched him smiling. The man shook the leaves off his body and walked back to the table to sit back down across from you. "I'm (y/n), by the way" you extended your hand. The boy shook it in greeting.
"I know, everyone knows who you are." He said smiling. You returned your hand to join the other one on your legs. Your smile disappeared making Eddie worry in case he had said something to offend you.
"I don't think I´m known by the best way" you replied seriously, a tone of sadness in your voice that Eddie could pick up on. The man just shrugged.
"People in this town are assholes, don't pay any attention to them, especially the ones at school." Eddie said.
"Easy to say when you have friends to hang out with instead of spending your school year in the library studying every day" You mentioned with a sad grimace, your hands crossed to play with your fingers as a sign of nervousness. Eddie stood up and climbed on the seat putting his right leg on the table surprising you. The man brought his hand in front of you as a sign for you to take it.
"I'll be your friend and knight so you'll never have to spend the rest of the year locked in the school library again. Deal?" he smiled, you looked at his hand for a few seconds and then back at him. Your heart was beating fast as you looked into his sincere eyes. You smiled again making the long hair man smile back and with all the happiness you could contain you took his hand as you stood up and stood on the seat as well. There you gave a small bow and then looked into his shining eyes.
"Done, oh Munson The Great" You replied making the guy let out a laugh.
From that day on they began to meet every day at the table surrounded by the forest to talk about everything. Sometimes you laughed about other students, Eddie explained how to play D&D, other times you talked about your favorite books while Eddie listened to you attentively without taking his eyes off you as if he was studying you, you even talked about the future. Eddie was the person who made you wake up happily and excited to go to school making your mother happy because you were already living a normal teenage life. Sometimes between classes or at lunch you would throw glances and smiles at each other making Eddie´s D&D club friends look at him funny. But no matter what the day was like, you never missed your meetings in the woods.
"I can't wait to graduate" Eddie commented as he stretched, both of you lying on the ground regardless of getting dirty. "I want to get out of this town and play guitar in the best places in the world. Fuck this place and its people."
"Even me?" you asked with a smirk.
"You know I'm talking about everyone but you princess" he said as he put his hand on your hair ruining your perfect ponytail, you pushed his hand away as you laughed. "You? what do you want to do after graduation?" his question made you sigh.
"At the moment I don't have anything planned besides college... oh!" the man jumped in surprise. "I want a house surrounded by the woods, a quiet place where I can spend the rest of my years with the love of my life, without the worry of what others might think."
"Anything else?" he asked with a smile staring at you.
"Yes! A place where I can read without being interrupted" You finished smiling, turning to look at him you realized the man was still admiring you.
"Even I can't interrupt you?" He teased you.
"Only you have the permission to interrupt me" you smiled as you blushed a little.
"Even… when it's a book you don't want to stop reading?" he raised an eyebrow. You nodded.
"Even when it's the best book in the world Munson." The man sighed and you were both quiet for a few minutes, until Eddie jumped to his feet and then pulled out a notebook and pen.
"Well, I think it's time to create your own D&D character" he said as he started writing your name in his notebook making you laugh.
"You have to help me, remember I'm not an expert" you said as you stood up to walk over to him. You shook out your pants to remove any dirt residue and rubbed your arms a little to keep warm, the winter cold was already approaching.
"I say an elf princess would be perfect on you" he looked at you for a few seconds with a smile then continued writing in his notebook. "You must have to use a bow and have experience and strength, I don't want you to die in the first round" he muttered making you let out a laugh.
"No doubt I'll die in the first fight of the game." You commented to him as you removed a leaf that was in his hair, after you took it from his hair you sat down next to him to admire him as he continued to write. You were both silent until you decided to speak. "Can I tell you a secret?" you said nervously, making the boy look at you expectantly. "But you can't tell anyone!" Eddie nodded even silently to let you speak. "All my knowledge about social relationships and love relationships I've gained are from literature, that's why I have a hard time making conversation with other people. You are my first and only friend Munson" You looked at your hands which were shaking, it wasn't the deepest secret in the world but it was one that made you nervous to tell since it wasn't something normal for an 18 year old girl. Eddie, noticing your action, took your hands causing you to look at him, his eyes were shining in a way you had never seen before.
"You're not alone anymore (y/n)" Those five words made you let out air and your shoulders dropped, as if a weight had been lifted off your shoulders. The man hugged you tightly to calm your nerves.
As he pulled away you could see him bite his lip for a moment then sigh and reach into his backpack. His tongue flicked out between his lips for a moment as he concentrated on looking for something, sign he commonly did when he was nervous or he was thinking abut something. You realized he had found what he was looking for when he opened his eyes wider than usual and smiled again.
"Hold out your hands and close your eyes" he commented as he held the object with both hands so you couldn't see what he was holding. You tightly closed your eyes as you held out both hands. Eddie, seeing that you couldn't see, slowly put the object in your hands, as you felt his warm hands on yours your smile grew bigger and your heart raced in your chest. The object he had placed was not heavy and was small "Okay, you can open your eyes."
As you opened them you noticed a small twenty-sided die of your favorite color with gold accents. The man scratched the back of his neck nervously as he watched you look at the small gift.
"I know it's not much compared to what you would normally have but I saw it and thought of you" he commented as he avoided your gaze. You shifted your gaze from the die to him and what you did surprised him. Your arms went around his neck and you hugged him tightly, the die still in your hands.
"This is the best thing I've ever been given in my life. Thank you so much" you whispered in his ear as you slowly felt his hands wrap around your waist, you both stayed like that for a long time.
The weeks went by without any news. Everyone went out for the winter holidays. Your mother decided that you had to spend the holidays with your father so you had to travel to Washington. Thanks to this, you and Eddie talked only on the phone. The two of you could spend hours talking about anything, you would talk about how the vacations were with your family while he would say he went to the table in the woods every day so 'it wouldn't be lonely while you were in Washington' bringing a smile to your face on the other end of the phone.
In January, you begged your mother to go back to Hawkins earlier because you wanted to see Eddie before school, which she agreed to when she saw how happy you were at the town. You hadn't told Eddie anything since it would be a surprise. The drive back took forever. It was a week before you had to go back to school, so you wanted to make the most of it with your friend.
When you arrived, the first thing you did was to wrap up warmer because the cold weather in Hawkins was worst than in Washington, then you said goodbye to your mother to leave almost running to the forest. When you were in front of the path you already knew, you started to go slowly, hoping not to make any noise to surprise him. However, the laughter of a girl and the voice of a boy stopped you, when you listened to them more carefully you realized that the voice belonged to Eddie. You continued to slowly approach to find him sitting with a girl with their back to you, as you listened to part of their conversation you froze in shock.
"Can you believe she's so obsessed with her books" Eddie said laughing softly. The girl laughed louder as she rested her hand on Eddie's shoulder, there you could recognize that she was one of the cheerleaders you had met the first day.
"It's normal, she was raised that way" Chrissy replied trying to make Eddie understand.
"I don't know, it's just weird" answered the long hair man.
His comment caused a pressure in your chest as tears filled your eyes, you slowly walked away so they wouldn't hear you trying to get back to your house as fast as you could. You couldn't believe that your only friend was just like the others. When you got home, you went to your room and cried. Your mom went to talk to you, trying to help you by talking to you, but nothing could fix your broken heart. Everything had gone back to the way it was before you met Eddie.
The last week of vacation you spend it in your room. Your mother would come in a few times to tell you that Eddie had been calling you at your father's house, remembering that you hadn't told him you were back. The days went by faster than you wanted them to, so you already had to go to school. On Monday you decided to ignore him all day, you didn't look at him and you didn't go to the table in the forest, making the man look at you surprised by your attitude, you were back to being the girl who didn't express her feelings like before.
On Tuesday Eddie was trying to get close to you but you did your best not to talk to him, making Eddie look at you sadly, however, he didn't give up so he decided to skip his last class to stay in your locker so he could talk to you. The final bell rang causing you to run out of the classroom, something you didn't do before. Seeing him leaning against your locker you rolled your eyes as you let out an angry sigh. The boy quickly approached you.
"Hey, what's going on?" he asked worriedly. "Everything okay with your parents?"
You turned to look away trying to evade him so he wouldn't see your teary eyes, but your attempts were in vain when he grabbed your shoulders gently to make you look at him. You moved forcefully to get away from him surprising him. All around you students were leaving to go home.
"I don't want to see you Munson" you said dryly making him freeze in place.
"What did I do?" seeing you try to walk away he stepped in front of you. "Hey, you know you can tell me anything" This caused you to get even angrier.
"Really?!" the students still in the hallway stared at you. "For what?! Just so you can go behind my back and tell others everything I´ve told you?!" you said almost shouting causing Eddie to throw his hands up in the air like he did the first time he met you. You couldn't recognize your voice.
"What are you talking about?" he asked confused.
"Now you're going to play dumb?!" your body was shaking with anger. If you kept standing there you knew you were going to say something you were going to regret.
"Hey I don't know what you mean!" he replied already frustrated with the way you were talking to him and because he didn't understand anything that was going on or what had made you so angry. He had never seen you be like this so he became even more worried. "Come on, let's talk it over like civilized people." Eddie grabbed you by the shoulders again causing you to finally explode.
"Don't touch me freak!" you shouted without thinking as you took his hands off of you. The moment you realized what you had said you put your hands over your mouth in surprise trying to hold back a gasp. Eddie's hands fell to his side looking at you with sadness and disappointment at what you had said. Of all people, you were the one he least expected to call him that. In the distance some players from the basketball team began to approach.
"Is the freak bothering you?" one of them shouted. You only turned to look at them to then turn to look at Eddie who was still looking at you, his eyes started to create a crystalline layer.
You didn't know what to say, your mind was blank from the shock of what had just happened, so all you could do was turn around and walk away. A lump in your throat was forming making your eyes begin to cloud quickly with tears, your body was shaking as you walked away from the school. When you got to your mother's car, you slammed the door shut and broke down, covering your face with your hands as you sobbed. You didn't know what hurt more, the fact that Eddie had betrayed you or that you had done the same thing in front of everyone, breaking each other’s hearts.

Likes, comments and especially reblogs are always appreciated ❤😘 I do not give anyone permission to copy my work.
Eddie and Chrissy had begun dating a week ago and everyone in Hawkins knew it was to make Jason jealous.
Jason knew it, all of Hellfire, Nancy, Robin and Steve, Heck even Hopper knew it and he only heard the gossip from El and Max's sleepovers.
The only one who didn't know it was Eddie and y/n couldn't believe that he didn't see it.
She was heartbroken about him dating Chrissy especially when she thought that they were so close to dating.
Obviously, she was misinterpreting everything and he had no feelings at all for her and it had always been Chrissy he liked. She had gotten everything wrong.
Seeing Eddie and Chrissy was so hard and she quit Hellfire furious at Eddie for leading her on, he had tried to talk to her but she wouldn't entertain him, even when his hurt look would etch in her mind.
The total surprise of this horrendous week of Eddie and Chrissy dating was that Jason had cornered her after class with a proposition.
"Look we all know Chrissy is stringing Munson along and using him, I want to get back at her so how do you feel about going on a few dates? Piss her off a little? Go to prom".
Is he serious? After all the shit he pulled on Hellfire?
"You think I'd help you after all the shit you pulled on Hellfire?". He nods and sighs.
"I know. Look maybe we could reach a compromise. Whatever you want?". Now this has possibilities. She mulls it over and knows exactly what she wants.
"I want you to leave my friends alone, stop shitting on Hellfire and bullying the members and don't even think of getting handsy with me Carver. Maybe a kiss or two but if your hands go a wandering I'll kick your ass".
Jason thinks this over.
"You got yourself a deal. Eddie and Chrissy are coming this way so can I kiss you just once? Rile Chrissy up a bit?". She shrugs.
Hey, if it pisses the bitch off she is all for it.
Jason kisses her taking her by surprise, it really isn't that bad but there are no tingles or anything. Still, she can be a good actress and deepens the kiss.
Something thumps on the ground and out of the corner of her eye she notices Chrissy has stopped still glaring at them and Eddie is watching Chrissy's books scattered on the floor, agony on his face.
She feels guilty for a nanosecond before thinking fuck it. He broke her heart and lead her on.
"Oh Jason, I'd love to go on a date with you, tonight at seven". She says loud enough for Chrissy and Eddie to hear but not enough to make it look suspicious.
Jason grins.
"I'd love to, I'll see you after school".
She can't exactly say she was expecting much with Jason, her guard was up and she was worried about him being an asshole but to her surprise she was actually enjoying their dates.
Jason wasn't as bad as she thought and clearly loved Chrissy with his whole heart.
While he poured his heart out about Chrissy she did the same with Eddie over milkshakes and fries.
Hellfire was also a hot topic but once she started to explain what they actually did in the club Jason was apologetic.
"Look, I shouldn't have called it a cult, it's not my thing but it doesn't seem too bad. To be honest I'm starting to think Munson is a fucking idiot for not locking you down".
This makes her smile a little.
"Could say the same for Chrissy, you know Carver you aren't that bad". Jason chuckles and clinks his milkshakes with her.
"I'll drink to that".
Eddie felt like he had been punched in the gut seeing y/n with Jason. His letterman jacket perched around her shoulders and Jason's arm around her. The kisses that they shared.
It's the first time he felt his heart break because he had been in love with her for so long and now he was fucked. It was too late.
Y/n would never give him a chance. He had hurt her, they were so close to dating but he panicked about how deep his feelings were for her and when Chrissy asked him out he agreed.
Then he lost y/n because she quit Hellfire and wouldn't speak to him. Not that he could blame her. He had fucked up.
It's just he couldn't believe the girl he was in love with loved him. Good things like that didn't happen to Eddie, he didn't get the girl of his dreams.
His insecurities lost his princess and he felt so fucking stupid. Dating Chrissy wasn't even all that, she spent most of the time only kissing him when Jason was around and ignoring him when Jason was awol.
Now that Jason was dating y/n, Chrissy had gone crazy and he knew that she was just using him. He felt like a fucking idiot.
He had ended things with Chrissy and was sitting at the Hellfire table feeling so fucking stupid.
Y/n would never forgive him.
It was prom night and Eddie didn't want to go but Uncle Wayne had thrown his ass out and told him to make things up to y/n. He didn't know how to do that but he put on a suit, his leather jacket and hoped for the best.
He would grovel for ages if he had to and rushed to pick up Jeff and Gareth.
Prom was in full swing when they got there and y/n looked like a fairy tale princess. She was smiling and dancing with Jason.
He sighs knowing all of this was his own doing. Chrissy was with her fellow cheerleaders and giving him and Hellfire dirty looks.
God, he had really fucked up. How the hell was he going to fix things.
She was actually having a great time, Jason was very polite and was making sure she had a great time.
Despite that, there was still an ache in her chest that wouldn't go away. She couldn't deny that she wanted to be here with Eddie but that wasn't going to happen.
Speaking of Eddie he was sitting at a table with Jeff and Gareth, he looked so handsome and utterly miserable.
Her traitor heart softens, Jason follows her gaze and smiles.
"You really do love him don't you?". He asks her gently and she nods feeling tears pool in her eyes.
"Yes". Jason pushes her in Eddies direction.
"Then go get him, he's miserable, he knows he fucked up. I've seen how he's reacted to us dating. He's heartbroken. Give him a chance". She sighs and nods kissing Jason on the cheek as a thank you.
Then she walks over to Eddie and he looks up at her and swallows.
"Hi princess".
"Where's Chrissy?". She asks confused because shouldn't she be with Eddie.
"Didn't you hear? I dumped her. Lost my princess because I am such a fucking idiot and let my insecurities get in the way of taking a chance and instead gave the wrong girl a chance instead. I fucked up so bad".
She sits beside him and takes his hand.
"Yeah, you did fuck up. I thought you liked me, Eddie and then you turn around and date Chrissy? I was heartbroken and thought that your feelings were just in my imagination". The tears fall freely now and he wipes them away.
"I'm in love with you, I'm so in love with you and I'm sorry I let my insecurities get in the way of us. Chrissy meant nothing to me, can't get your heart broken when the girl inevitably leaves if you aren't that fussed anyway".
Her heart aches.
"That's what you thought? That I would leave you. Don't be stupid Eddie. You aren't fucking stupid. I love you so so much. I want to be with you always you're my soulmate".
He wipes his eyes.
"I thought you'd realise you deserved better than me but it was fucking stupid because I know now that you love me as much as I love you and I fucked up, all I want to be is with you princess. Seeing you with Jason broke my heart".
Quietly she explains Jason's intentions for them dating and how he told her to talk to Eddie.
"Fuck, he really isn't that bad is he? Princess, Chrissy and I were never going to last. I lost you because of her, she would have been gone even if I didn't realise she was using me to make Jason jealous, she only ever kissed me when he was around. I swear to you we didn't sleep together, I would never do that".
It pisses her off that Chrissy was using him like that, on the flip side she feels better they didn't have sex or anything.
A gentle silence ensues between them and she tugs his hand.
"Wanna dance?". She asks him and his eyes light up, he is like an over-excited puppy as he leads her to the dance floor and she giggles.
A slow song begins to play and he holds her close to him as she wraps her arms around his neck.
"You look so beautiful, I love you so much, sweetheart". He murmurs looking at her with adoration.
"You look very handsome yourself Eds, I love you too. I wish you had just told me how you were feeling. Might have saved all of this heartbreak".
He agrees and kisses her forehead.
"I know baby, I know. I promise though if you give me a chance I will make you the happiest girl in the world. I'll love you forever princess".
"I like the sound of forever". He grins and strokes her cheek.
"Can I kiss you?". Her heart melts at his hopeful eyes and she nods anticipating his lips meeting hers. When they do it's everything she has been waiting for, she kisses him fiercely, he moans and she feels arousal pool deep in her lower body.
Fuck. He pulls away looking dazed and breathes out a stunned wow then he smirks.
"Hey princess. You want to go to mine do some after-prom activities?". The thought makes her tingle.
"Oh is that right Eds?". He kisses her again.
"Fuck yeah".
Fiery hot desire courses through her and she takes his hand and leads him to his van both of them laughing and very much together and in love.
They reach the trailer and Wayne is heading out for a night shift. He sees them holding hands and ruffles Eddie's hair.
"So y'all made up. I'm glad. Was rooting for you both". Y/n smiles and thanks him shyly but as soon as he is out the door she and Eddie race to his room in a tangle of limbs and hot kisses.

So glad it wasn’t just me who noticed the lack of Eddie in that promo 😑 and the only shots focused on him were like old footage from s2 and 3. None of his s5 breakdown or hostage situation badassery or May Day cool moments (like smashing the glass with the fire extinguisher), not even any of his sassy faces from s6. And not a single line of dialogue from him. My motivation to watch s7 dropped about 10 points. The shot of buck and death doula didn't help either 😑
Thank you @blutterlie for the ask.
I noticed the lack of Eddie immediately then I watched the promo again to make sure I didn't miss him but I realized I was right the first time. I was pissed they didn't include any of Eddie's badassery from all the seasons he's been on the show. Let's check notes on how Bad Ass Cool Under Pressure "Sexy Eddie Diaz" is for a minute.
First and foremost, Eddie Diaz is the best dad there is. He's been raising Chris and he sacrifices EVERYTHING for him!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He removed a live grenade from a man's leg and everyone who doesn't remember should realize EDDIE WAS GOING TO GO INTO THE AMBULANCE BY HIMSELF!
(I can't find the GIF I made of him doing the damn thing but if anyone wants to see it, they can watch 2x1 to see sexy Eddie do it because he's the one who KNEW THE ORDINANCE.)
Tumblr media
The man was trapped in a well and swam to safety on his own while the team was above ground trying to figure out what to do to save him.
Tumblr media
He was shot by a sniper.
Tumblr media
He was held hostage by an escaped convict.
Tumblr media
He had a mental breakdown and went to therapy to get better.
Tumblr media
He climbed a 70-foot ladder to rescue Buck after he WAS CATAPULTED OFF THE BASE OF THE TRUCK WITHOUT BEING HARNESSED IN!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But the season 7 promo didn't include any of that.
What else does Eddie have to do to get some damn respect?
It was my main issue with season 6 and it looks like they're going to repeat history and it appears Past will be Prologue for them because they continue to ignore Eddie, Bobby and Chimney. They weren't in the promo that much either but you know who was, Buck's ridiculously short-term love interest ND who's been around for like 2 minutes. It's season 5 all over again, ND is the new TK and I'm not here for it.
They didn't even show Karen, Denny or that much of Ravi in the promo. Or Josh or Linda and these ARE ALL RECURRING CHARACTERS WHO'VE BEEN ON THE SHOW FOR YEARS!
I'm so sick of this BS. They never treat Eddie right and they've been sidelining him for too long. And for those who always holler, "Eddie had a big storyline in season 5" the amount of screen time he receives shouldn't have anything to do with that and if we're being HONEST, all of Eddie's scenes are made to be about Buck and his reaction to Eddie being hurt. Also, Eddie's scenes are usually crammed into the last 5 minutes of the episode and are rarely given the attention they deserve.
HE'S A MAIN CHARACTER BUT THEY KEEP SIDELINING HIM! But they sure don't have a problem giving Buck a lot of recurring characters for his gazillion storylines. Hell, he had 7 in season 6 alone but all they gave Eddie was some raggedy dating storyline and set him up with a chick who's more in love with her brother. 🙄
It would have been better if they would have included ONLY THE MAIN CAST AND LEFT ND OUT OF IT. SHE SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN INCLUDED AND I'LL KEEP SCREAMING IT AND NO ONE IS GOING TO STOP ME!
FREE EDDIE DIAZ FROM 9-1-1'S RIDICULOUS SIDELINES AND GIVE HIM THE SCREEN TIME HE DESERVES.
Thanks again for the ask and I know my response is long but I'm still pissed off by the lack of Eddie Diaz in that damn promo.

Blended Hearts and Bitter Brew | Part 2
Tumblr media
Summary: Your life was boring, hoping for your big break, you were stuck at Starbucks for what felt like forever. The hot metalhead that just came through your door might just be the amount of shit-stirring fun you've been looking for. (3.8K)
A/N: Hey everyone, I am very sorry for the delay for this chapter, its been quite crazy at work and with the ini starting again (MY LAST ONE YEHHH!), things have been even more intense. So, it's safe to say it's been quite a whirlwind. I also had to delete my previous post because I encountered an issue with the chapter that required me to go back and make some fixes. I'm hopeful that everything is resolved now - fingers crossed!
Additionally, I'd like to extend an invitation to anyone who may have questions or requests for me. I would be absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to work on them. I'll be away for a few days, and there's nothing I'd love more than to find myself writing by the lake, to be honest. Thank you all for all of your support and kind words, I love you all very much!!

The Phone Call
Usually, after a long day at work, you were more than ready to head home and collapse on the couch while munching on an entire box of hot pockets. Today was a bit different, though. For the first time in a long while, you were actually... excited! Still riding the high from your encounter with Eddie, you took the extra 10 minutes out of your way to stop at the corner store and grab the second cheapest bottle of wine (Fancy) that you could find! Cradling the bottle like you were Gollum with the ring, you were ready to let loose and get a bit frisky.
You got home quickly, stepping through the streets of Indianapolis, your overheated mood a total contrast to the frosty outside. After a quick shower where you made sure to scrub every inch of your skin, which was now pinkish from the scalding heat of the water, you put on your favourite black satiny robe. The soft frock hugged you deliciously, flowing around you like water and reaching just beneath your ass, highlighting its fleshy curve. In front of your antique floor mirror that you’d found in a second-hand shop, you gave yourself a saucy wink while twirling like a damn Jewelry box ballerina. A slutty ballerina, in your case.
You giggled to yourself as you sifted through the kitchen drawer, searching for the candle you were certain you'd received during last year's Secret Santa. Your hand moved blindly, finally identifying the candle's rounded shape with your extended fingers. As you grasped it, you opened the container and took a deep sniff—Peppermint Mocha. You snorted; your manager really was an unimaginative dick. Well, it would have to do for tonight.
You lit it up using the lighter you had stashed under one of your flowerpots for smoking emergencies. You had promised yourself that you would cut back on smoking this year, but every once in a while, nothing could help ease the tension like a good cigarette. It was also unmatched after sex, although THAT front had been pretty quiet in the last few months. Perhaps Eddie could help resolve that, you thought with a cheeky smirk as you imagined him pulling harshly on your hair as you devoured his tattooed neck.
You let the pepperminty aroma waft through the room as you started to set the mood around your little shoebox studio. It wasn’t much – barely enough space for a double bed and a small round table – but it was all yours. You didn't have to share with anybody, didn’t have to abide by anyone’s schedule but your own. If you wanted to get high and eat ice cream straight out of the tube, or if you wanted to practice the riff you couldn’t quite get right on your guitar until early morning, or if, like tonight, you wanted to set a sultry mood and masturbate thinking about Eddie’s tattooed chest… Well, you damn well could.
You sink down to the ground and settle onto your round, fluffy carpet. This very carpet had been among the first pieces you had bought after settling in your new life in Indianapolis. Regret over this purchase had never crossed your mind; its deep burgundy shade harmonizes exquisitely with the studio's dusky tones. And right now, as you reach for your vinyl collection, you can feel all of its fibers against your bare legs. Your senses heightened since the afternoon; its gentle touch now feels almost teasing against your puckered skin making you shiver deliciously.
You allow your index finger to roam over the spines of the hundreds of vinyl records stacked at the foot of your bed. There were so many of them that you reckon you could use them as a bedside table or something. You were quite proud of them if you were completely honest. You’d spent so much time curating this collection since your dad brought home a vinyl player for your 11th birthday. Your dad had insisted that "its sound is far superior to them boom boxes kids use these days." Along with the player, he had purchased your first ever metal album: "Master of Puppets," That night, you had both spent the rest of your birthday listening to the music with your dad, both huddled in the living room, heads bobbing to the harsh rhythm of the tracks—much to your mom's annoyance who must have shouted "SHUT IT DOWN" at least a dozen times before you’d gone to bed, feeling like your life had changed completely. After that, there was no turning back. Ripped jeans, short black skirts, fishnets, and leather became your uniform, and music became your greatest lover.
You reached out and retrieved the specific record you had in mind. Gently sliding the sleek, obsidian vinyl out from its protective sleeve, you cradled it delicately. As the stylus met the surface, K. K. Downing’s guitar strings struck like a punch to your senses, in a delectable impact of metal. The music flowed through you like an electric current, coursing through the grooves, infiltrating your ears, and permeating every fibre of your being, until you were immersed, entwined, and carried away by the raw yet exquisite sound.
Moved by the beat, you rose and started swaying back and forth, the music's rush flooding you until you didn’t exist. Music always held a flavour more alluring than any drink and a sensation more ravishing than any drug – music consistently brought you to a peak of euphoria that couldn't be replicated by anything else. You loved that feeling; the one where you would float over the world in your own little bubble, where no one and nothing mattered except for you and the music.
Your hand found the bottle of wine resting on the kitchen counter, and you took a large gulp, letting the burning liquid cascade down your throat. With the buzz of the wine slowly enveloping you and the music infusing life into your being, you began to move your hands up and down your body, tracing your curves beneath the satin of your robe.
Swaying your hips to the music, you let your mind drift back to Eddie; his husky voice as he tried to tease you, the mischievous tint behind his hazel eyes that you hoped would, when properly provoked, turn more devious—perhaps even a touch wicked. You let your mind wander to what Eddie was hiding behind that Metallica shirt. With a teasing smile to yourself, your body swaying from side to side in a tantalizing shimmy, finding balance with the rhythm of the music.
Come crawling faster Obey your master Your life burns faster Obey your master, master
The sound of your phone ringing brought you back down. "No way he called already!" You dropped the volume of the music before grabbing your phone.
Unknown number
This was too good to be true! And right on time too as the song on the vinyl changed. "Burnin' Up" started to invade your ears. Grinning deviously, that was perfect timing, and you were more than ready to put on a show if Eddie was on the other side of that line.
“Hey there handsome, feeling desperate, are we?” you sultrily cooed.
“Good to know you are a little brat outside of work too.” Eddie’s harsh tone sent a shiver down your back while his words sent a clenching wave through your core.
“Aw, but I just did what you wanted me to do.” You added a quiver to your voice for full effect, “I just wanted to be a good girl for you…”
“Fuck, you can’t just say shit like that baby!” You let out your best teasing laugh.
“Why is that? Am I making you hard?” You questioned innocently, “Are you hard for me right now Eddie?” A strained sound made its way to your ears as you took another gulp of your wine “Am I being a good girl for you now?”
“Good girls don’t tease. Good girls don’t… arg… Good girls listen, and they don’t act like desperate little brats for attention! ‘That why you were acting like a spoiled little princess earlier? Ya wanted all my attention, like the desperate little slut you are.?Well, you have it now baby, so you better make it worth my while” You whimpered at his words, but you didn’t want to give into him – not yet anyway, you wanted to savour this as long as you could.
“Tch, don’t flatter yourself. I don’t need attention from wannabe metal douchebags, thank you very much.” A dark chuckle erupted from the phone.
“Tut, tut, tut. Baby, you can fool yourself all you want. But I can see right through your little spoiled brat display.  Beneath all that though, rocker girl thing you’ve got going on, all you want is for me to put you in your place. Am I right, or am I right?”
Fuck, he was too good at this. Most men you had been with had not really wanted to indulge in this fantasy of yours. Most of them had found it weird, not really understanding that when you were acting like a bitch you didn’t want to have a “conversation to settle our differences” as one of your exes so aptly put it. You snorted - No, what you wanted was for someone to grab you by your hair and spit in your mouth. And then, you wanted to cuddle, eat junk food and listen to music until your ears bled. But that was a bit too much to ask apparently.
“Where did your mind go baby? Am I too much for your little bratty ass?” Eddie teased through the phone.
Suddenly a wave of vulnerability like you’d never really felt before washed over you, making you extremely self-conscious. You felt stupid in your little satin robe, half drunk on wine and desperate for some guy you all but had 10 words with. Your skin was itchy, and you felt too hot like a hand had wrapped itself around your throat and squeezed. Fuck, what was wrong with you? For once, a guy was willing to indulge in your little kinky fantasy and what? You were gonna have a panic attack?! You didn’t even know the guy, why were your nerves on fire, why did it feel like you couldn’t disappoint him? Why were you feeling like you were teetering on the edge of a precipice, ready to plummet to your death?
Were you afraid of the fall, or were you afraid that no one would be there to catch you?
“… I’m sorry Eddie, I don’t know what’s wrong with me.” You could feel tears gathering in your eyes.
“Fuck, shit.” You could hear Eddie scrambling on the other side of the line, “Did I go too far? Fuck I am so sorry! I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable. Shit I should’ve checked for safe words before, shouldn’t have gone straight into it, it's just you drive me goddam mad honey.” A pause as he seemed to realize what he had just said, “Not like “mad-mad” more like lust-mad or – fuck, I don’t even know what I am saying and I’m rambling, and I probably sound like a complete maniac and…” You let him continue, his unfocused voice making you feel safe and maybe, just a little… understood.
“s’ok Eddie. It’s me, it's just… I guess I got a bit scared because you know… You just seem a bit too good to be true.” Silence.
“WHAT?! I seem too good to be true?” His voice took on a misbelieving tone, “Have you looked at yourself? You are like the definition of hot!” You chuckled at his words,
“Nah I am serious babe! Next to “HOT” in the dictionary, there is a photo of your face, I promise you that!”
You felt yourself grow warm under his words, “You’re just saying that…”
“Hey, don’t do that alright,” he counters sternly, his voice so full of certitude and assurance that it fills you with safety. You were so full of his words that you could pop at any moment, “I don’t say shit I don’t mean, never. And look,” a sheepish pause made you hold your breath, “You kinda intimidated me back there, you know. Like your fucking hot, and your witty and then I find out your kinky AF too? I mean, you’re like my dream girl brought to life. I feel like if I pinch myself you’ll disappear, like I made you up or something.”
You release a breath at his words, attempting to regain a modicum of composure you tease, “What like Pygmalion? Am I your Galatea then?”
“Baby, I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
“Never mind…Did I kill the mood?” you ask in a squeaky voice.
In response, Eddie burst into a hearty laugh, “Nah baby you didn’t. It’ll take a lot more than that to scare me away from someone like you… How ‘bout we slow down? Maybe you could tell me what you were doing before I called you up.”
That you could do, "Well, I got back from work all flustered, just had to blow off some steam, you know? Poured myself some wine and put on Killing Machine..." A pronounced groan reached your ears.
“A tad controversial for a so-called metalhead to choose that record—a bit too... mainstream," Eddie quipped, his tone teasing. But your lips curled into an unabashed smile. "Maybe, but I was riding a Burnin' Up vibe, and needed the perfect backdrop. Anyway, a solid album's just that, regardless of how mainstream it might be." you bantered in return.
"Amen to that, baby. But tell true honey, was that all you were doing? Sitting around with music and a glass of wine?" Eddie inquiries with a touch of salaciousness in his tone.
"I might have been dancing... explored a bit beneath my robe—" you teasingly purred.
"Describe it," Eddie suddenly interrupted breathlessly.
" Oh, you want to know what I’m wearing? Is that what you want Eddie?" you replied teasingly.
"Don’t tease baby, be a good girl and describe what you’re wearing.”
You pause for dramatic effect, taking the time to compose your thoughts. "I'm in my black robe, it's all satin with lace, barely grazes below my ass..." you slowly croon, your voice a delicate whisper.
"Damn, keep talking, baby," Eddie's voice urges you, dripping with desire. "It caresses my skin so sensuously, makes me feel so good... Am I doing well?" you inquire, a mix of nervousness and anticipation in your voice.
"Absolutely amazing, baby. Have you touched yourself yet?" he inquires further.
"Just my tits, Eddie. I was kinda hoping you'd give me a call," you shily confess “Are you happy to hear how much I want you?"
"More than you can imagine baby, are you wet for me?” You could almost picture him; he was sitting in a nondescript room, perhaps with some Metallica posters and records strewed about, he’s clenching his teeth as you describe how much you want him, perhaps he took out his cock too. Is he touching himself, you wonder? Because right now, all you want is to dip one of your fingers inside your panty and relieve some of the tension that has been building since before you left for work.
“I’m so wet for you Eddie… I think I’ve been wet since before I left work, that’s how much you affect me. I want to show you that I'm not just a brat; I can behave, I can be your good girl" you say earnestly.
"I know you can be, but let me share a little secret with you, baby." Eddie pauses, and you hold your breath, awaiting his words. "Truth is, I kinda love it when you get all bratty on me..."
At his words, emotions erupted within you—a mélange of lust, desire, joy, and a tad of shyness. Each little butterfly fluttering deep within your belly in a symphony of feelings.
“There’s more of that where it came from,” you sheepishly admit, all too aware of your tendencies to tease and your strong-headedness. You lick your lip, and purr, “Are you hard right now Eddie? Are you as hard for me as I am wet for you?”
“Oh baby, I’m as hard as fucking Andúril right now!” Eddie loudly pants.
“… What did you just say?!” Nervous laughter meets your ear as Eddie stammers,
“No-nothing. It’s nothing. Forget I said anything.” With regained confidence, he continues,
“You gonna touch yourself baby? Come on, be a good girl and touch yourself with me.”
You quickly fumble with your phone as you put it on speaker and lay it next to you on your bed. “I’m in bed…” You shakily exhale.
“Yeah? Me too honey. Now. Touch. Yourself.” His tone left no room for arguing. You could hear a belt unbuckle and a zipper coming undone amidst the rushing of fabric on the other side of the line making you shiver as you imagine him taking his heavy dick in his large hand.
Slowly you hiked your fingers up your thigh, feeling the goosebumps rise under the trace of your nails. You reach under your robe, and you hiss as your index finger grazes your weeping pussy. “Ohh Eddie, I’m so wet, I’m dripping everywhere.”
“Fuck baby, I want to hear.” Blushing like mad you position your phone next to your dripping pussy before slipping your index inside, the wet squelching of your finger going in and out of your core sending pleasurable shivers down your spine as you imagine Eddie’s reaction on the other side of the line.
You breathlessly moan “You hear that, Eddie? You hear how much my bratty little pussy wants you?!”
“Fuck sweetheart, that’s the most metal music I’ve ever heard. My dick’s so hard right now, I feel like it’s gonna fall off.”
“I want to hear you too.” You frantically demand “Yeah? You want to hear me rub my dick baby? You’re such a perverted little girl!” Eddie didn’t need much convincing and all of the sudden you heard a loud plop, and a loud moan escaping Eddie’s throat. The sounds sending an arrow straight to your warm core; did Eddie just spit on his dick? The wet sound of his hand going up his dick was truly one of the sexiest things you’ve ever heard.
“I’m close baby…” Eddie admitted between loud moans.
“Already?” you giggle breathlessly.
“Fuck, don’t be a brat now baby. You close too?”
“Mmm-hmm” You hummed “Not close enough.”
“How many fingers, you’ve got in that sweet little pussy baby?” Eddie pants, almost pained.
“Just the one Edd.” “Shit baby, add another one. Can you add another one for me, honey?” His words alone were almost enough to send you over the edge.
“Yes Eddie, Yes I can. Anything for you!” You whisper-shout into your phone.
You dip another finger inside, ripping a loud moan from your throat. You part your finger, frantically spreading your slick all over and making a mess over your sheet.  You curve your index toward you until you reach the spongey spot inside of you that feels oh so good. You rub and rub while your thumb aggressively circles your clit.
“Oh Eddie!! Mmmmm… Fuck, I’m close Ed, I’m so close! I don’t want to come alone!!”
“You won’t baby, you’ll come when I tell you to come. Not before.” Eddie pants into the phone. After what feels like forever, you feel the cord that had been steadily building inside of you start to grow taunt, teetering on the edge of snapping in half.
“Eddie… pleasepleaseplease! Please let me come!”
“FUCK! Come for me baby, I’m cumming!” His words send you over the edge and you see a white light blinding you as your body grows tense before letting go.
You can hear Eddie’s panting on the other side of the line while you try to catch your breath. Now sticky and half-naked with your robe open, you feel a wave of shyness overtake you.
“Eddie? Are you… Are you ok?” A loud laugh meets your ear.
“Am I ok, Baby? Pretty sure the Milky Way just exploded in my room. Damn, that was the hottest thing ever!!” You shyly chuckled at his sweet words.
“It wasn’t like… too much or anything?”
“Wait Baby… Was that your first-time having phone sex?” You grew hot and are quick to dispel any ideas he might get “No, not at all. But…” you hesitate, “But it’s the first time anyone ever made me feel like that before.”
“What? Orgasmic?” Eddie teases.
“Shut up!” You laugh before your traitorous vulnerable heart plants himself down your throat, “I meant like safe; you know. Like you wouldn’t make fun of me or like you actually wanted to hear me come. Like I really mattered for a minute and it wasn’t just about your dick.”
Eddie’s voice grew soft at your words “Baby, there is nothing that I would love more than hearing you come every day, it’s the most beautiful sound I’ve ever heard. If you let me, I’d put it on a CD and listen to it on repeat.”
“You mean that?”
“With ever fibers of my being baby.” Eddie answers honestly. You can hear the truthfulness and the transparency in his voice. makes you feel better, and perhaps a little bolder, as you ask, "Does that mean you'd like to see me in real life again and not just when I have to serve coffee?" When Eddie doesn’t answer for a second you feel your heart drop down like a lead balloon.
"Or not," you chuckle, "I didn't mean to sound conceited. It's fine if you don't wan—"
Eddie cuts you off, "I'd love to, baby."
"You would?" you ask, your voice tainted with disbelief.
"I didn't mean to sound so unenthusiastic. It's just that I'm not used to having such a pretty girl proposition me like that. Had to pinch my ass to make sure it was real, ya know."
You laugh as your hand nervously toys with the lace of your robe. "So when would you like to see me?"
"How about tomorrow? Pancakes for dinner, and then if you want, I have a show with my band in town. You could come with."
"Yeah? You want to see me tomorrow?"
"Nothing else I'd rather do."
"There's nothing else I'd rather do either, Eddie."
“Then it’s a date… Be ready 'cause I’m gonna rock your world Baby!”
You giggle at his words “Can’t wait Eddie.” You look around you, with thighs still sticky with your pleasure—yeah, you really couldn't wait to see your rockstar again.

Big and Chunky | Eddie Munson x Plus Sized! Reader
Tumblr media
Hawkins was an unfortunately small town. A small town that was allegedly cursed with tragedies happening at least once a year at this point. If it weren't for you trying to make it by in school you'd make the effort to investigate what the hell was actually going on in this damn town. Alas, you were constantly distracted by the constant stacks of homework and the other tribulations that came with your young adult life. This year's tragedy had involved your crush, Eddie 'the Dungeon Master' Munson and how he somehow was some sort of serial killer. That's when you had enough of a push to do your own investigation about how the hell this was happening. You knew Eddie wasn't capable of murder. Sure he was a lot of things but he wasn't a killer. You had no idea where to start. So you figured you'd start at the police department.
You baked some cookies and decided to take it to the police as some sort of peace offering. As soon as you got the station you saw some cops coming in and out of the building. You grabbed the plate from your passenger seat and got out of your car. You put on your best fake smile and went inside the station.
"Ms. L/N what brings you here in the middle of the night?" It was the newly appointed chief Powell. "Are those cookies?" A lot of the movement in the building sort of stopped out of curiosity. "They are. Look, I know you officers are hard at work trying to get to the bottom of this investigation and I also know the town seems to be against you. So I decided to bake you guys these cookies as a reminder that you still have someone routing for you." You smiled. "Well that's real sweet of you Ms. L/n. I can't speak for everyone but I'm sure it will be well appreciated." He went to grab the plate. You kind of pulled back. "Uh actually Mister...I mean Chief Powell, while I'm here I was wondering is there anything I can do to help?" You asked.
Meanwhile you took the opportunity to skim the desks near by to see if there was anything laying around that could help you. "I can't say that there is." He stated and went to grab the cookies again. "Are you sure? You see I'll be honest, I do admire the work that you guys put in. In fact, I've considered joining the force after school. Perhaps you can give me some pointers or let me tag along wi-" You began to ramble a bit as your eyes were still searching for some sort of clue. "Uh actually Ms. L/N, as nice as it is to see someone as young as you interested in this line of work right now isn't exactly the best time t-"
"I disagree completely, I'd say this is the best time. More hands on opportunities. This kind of stuff just doesn't happen all the time." You tried to argue. Your eyes finally landed on the bulletin board you saw in the background. It was as if the police were trying to find a link between the victims but it looks like they are stagnant. "Ms. L/N, I truly appreciate your enthusiasm but you're still in school and-" You finally looked him in the eye. "Actually its fine, you're right. It could be dangerous. I wouldn't want to be the next victim anyways. Thanks anyways." You smiled and handed him the plate. He seemed confused but you just walked away and left.
You went and got into your car. You had to sit and think. What was the possible connection between the popular sweetheart Chrissy Cunningham, The nerdy boy from Journalism Fred Benson, and most recently basketball player Patrick McKinney? You would understand Chrissy and Patrick. The connection is that they were both relatively popular and represented Hawkins High as model students. But Fred? He didn't fit in that equation. Sure he was a sweet guy but he wasn't as noteworthy as the other two students. So why him?
You pulled out of the parking lot and drove off in frustration trying to figure it out. You were drawing a complete blank. You weren't even sure where you were driving to but you didn't stop. You decided to go to one of the Hellfire member's house. You knew that was where Eddie and his band would practice in the garage. You pulled up to the drive way. You saw the boys fixing their equipment. You got out from your car and shut the door gaining the attention from the group of outcasts. "What the hell are you doing here L/N?" Gareth said.
You walked a few steps forward then leaned on the hood of your car. "Come on there's no need to be an ass Gareth." You stated. He rolled his eyes. "Sorry, do you mind sharing with us the reason for you to be gracing us with your presence, Y/N?" He asked. You stood up straight. "Better. I could have done without the sarcasm, but better." You stated. The boys were starting to look a little annoyed at you and the lack of getting answers. “Where’s Eddie? Better yet, do you anything that could prove his innocence?” You asked. They looked surprised at you. “You want to help him?” Jeff asked. You nodded. “Of course I do. There’s no way Eddie would kill anyone. At least not on purpose if anything.”
The boys looked at each other. “Look, even if wanted to help our buddy out we’ve got nothing. Jason and his gang of assholes came by earlier today asking about Eddie. Messed with our shit to get us to talk. I’ll tell you the same thing I told them, that kid Dustin Henderson called us a few days ago asking about where Eddie might be staying. Seems like Eddie was staying at reefer Rick’s. If they haven’t caught him yet, he’s definitely not there anymore. Besides, I’m sure there are cops crawling all around Lover’s Lake.” Gareth explained. You nodded in understanding. Jeff scoffed. “Hell you’d have a better chance checking his trailer.” He said almost in a sarcastic tone. You beamed brightly. “Jeff my boy, you are a pure genius.” He seemed confused. “I am?” He asked.
“Of course! The cops are probably all searching Lover’s Lake and most likely aren’t at the trailer park anymore.” You stated enthusiastically. You got back into your car and sped off to the trailer park. It was so incredibly dark but as soon as you arrived to his trailer you saw a few bikes outside. You had gotten out of your car and ran up to the door. You swung the door open causing the kids inside to shriek which in turn made you shriek as well. You heard some muffled sounds coming from the ceiling. You saw a very strange dark vain like hole and what appeared to be bedsheets going into it.
“Who the hell are you?” The curly haired boy asked. You knew him to be Dustin. “Uh...Y/N L/N. We’ve met before actually. You asked me to join your campaign the other day but I couldn’t make it.” You explained. You heard some more muffling coming from the ceiling. “W-What is that?” You asked. They all looked at each other. “It’s a portal.” The young girl said. “I’m Erica by the way. Lucas’ unfortunately younger sister.” She introduced herself. Lucas turned to her looking very upset. She just flicked him off. “A portal to what?” You asked. Dustin pinched the bridge of his nose. “It’s a portal to a world just like ours but its pretty much lifeless and upside down.” He explained. He then grabbed a mattress and set it on the ground underneath the hole. You heard some more muffling from the ceiling. “What’s going on?”
“Well, you kind of came in to the middle of everything so out of context it definitely doesn’t make sense.” Lucas stated. “Nancy, Steve, Robin, and Eddie are all stuck in the other world and we are trying to get them safely out.” Max the red headed girl explained. All of a sudden you saw Robin drop from the ceiling and onto the mattress. “Hey that was kind of fun.”She said as she got helped getting off the mattress. "Y/N, I didn't realize you were here too." Robin stated. You nodded. "Uh...yeah. Just kind of joined the party I guess." Next thing you knew Eddie was next to drop onto the mattress. He sat up. "That.was.fun." Eddie got helped up as well and got off of the mattress. “L/N, what are you doing here?” He said surprised to see you. “I actually came to find you. To see if I could help prove your innocence.” You explained. “You came all this way for little ol’ me?” He asked placing a hand on his chest seeming to be very touched. “Uh yeah...didn’t realize I was getting myself involved into some freaky shit.” You stated. Eddie grabbed your hand. “Here lets talk outside.” He pulled you out of the trailer. He took a deep breath. “Shit I missed fresh air.” He said.
You giggled a bit but was generally concerned about what he had probably just experienced. “What the hell happened?” You asked. “Too much shit. Too much for me to process. Hell I can hardly process you being here right now.” He explained. “Well I knew you weren’t capable of murder so I wanted to see what I could do. I’m a little late on the case though.” He shrugged. “Well better late then never sweetheart. I appreciate it.” He said. “How’d you figure out where I was?” He asked in turn. “I paid a visit to the Hellfire club.” He nodded. “How are they holding up?” You shook your head a bit in contemplation. “I mean they’re alright but they don’t look the same without you.” The door of his trailer slammed open. It was Max. "He's got Nancy."
Eddie began to rush inside with you right behind him. "Who's got Nancy?" You asked. Nobody answered. Everyone was rummaging around Eddie's things. Robin had a handful of...god knows what in her hands. "Seriously what is all this shit?!"Robin questioned in panic. Eddie began to panic too. "I mean I don't even know what you're looking for!" He yelled. "Madonna, Blondie, Bowie, Beatles, music! We need music!" She shouted. He grabbed whatever was in her hand "THIS. IS. MUSIC!" He shouted back at her. "Okay yelling at each other isn't helping." You tried to reason and were now getting frantic yourself.
"We need to find something or Vecna is gonna kill Nancy!" Max exclaimed. You began to look around to not entirely sure if you were helping. "What kind of music are we looking for?" You asked. "Anything Nancy would listen to." Robin said as she continued to search. "It has to be her favorite song." She explained. "Does anyone know what the hell her favorite song is? For all I know she could like Pat Benatar or Metallica." You stated. You heard some voices from the ceiling. Then Nancy dropped on the mattress seemingly unharmed. Robin helped her up. Steve followed behind her and landed on the mattress. Dustin helped him up and off the mattress. Nancy was extremely quiet. She looked frightened.
Morning had come and she sat everyone down and explained what she saw in the vision that Vecna showed her. It sounded horrible. You didn't know who this guy was but he sounded awful. It seemed like he was the true monster behind the murders and that he needed to be taken down. That's when the group formulated a plan for them to get weapons in what sounded like an illegal hick store and yet it allegedly was pretty legal. To get there you all needed a vehicle and to make sure Eddie wasn't spotted. Max ran to her house and came back with her Michael Myers mask I'm assuming she had from Halloween.
"You can't be serious." You stated. "Its all I had." Max explained. Eddie shrugged. "Guess its better then showing my pretty little face for all to see." He said and put it on. You all snuck around the trailer park following Eddie. He led you guys to an RV that was parked. The owners lounging right outside. Eddie went to the window in the back and slid it open. He jumped up and shimmied his way inside. "Are we actually doing this?" You asked not sure if this was a good idea. Was this considered grand theft auto if its technically a home too? This has to be worst though. "Shh." Erica shushed you. Everyone began to climb in the RV and you were at a loss because you were sure you 1) Couldn't pull yourself up there. And 2) Couldn't fit through the damn window. "Y/N. Come on." Nancy whisper shouted as she waved for you to hurry up. You did sort of a running start and jumped up to the window. You definitely struggled to pull yourself up. The group grabbed onto you to pull you in but your hips got stuck. "Damn these hips." You muttered as you heard Eddie hot wiring the vehicle.
"Eddie! I'm not in yet!" Then Steve hopped in the driver's seat and started the getaway. Your legs flailed in the air. "Hello! My ass is out the damn window!" You exclaimed. The kids were doing their best to pull you in and honestly you were pretty embarrassed at this point. Eddie came over to your aid and tried to help pull you in. "I'm going to get ripped in half here!" Eddie made his way right in front of you and was grabbing your torso while the kids continued to pull your arms. Soon Steve made a sharp turn causing everyone to fall back and the rest of you to launch right through the window for you to land right on top of Eddie on the couch.
You looked into his eyes and your cheeks were burning. Partial from the embarrassment and then partial for the fact that you were on top of Eddie freaking Munson. "Well that's one way to make a landing." Eddie remarked. You quickly made an effort to get off of him. "I'm so sorry." You stated. "Nah. Don't be." He sat up and reached behind you to shut the window. His eyes never left yours as he did so. He was a mere inches away from your face. You could've died right on the spot. The two of you got off the couch and you made your way to one of the seats by the table. Eddie sat across from you.
"I appreciate you wanting to come with us even though we're breaking several laws." He said. You let out a single laugh. "Yeah who would've thought. I mean I guess I knew I was going to breaking some laws by aiding and abetting a fugitive but this takes the cake." You stated. "You didn't have t-" Eddie began. "I wanted to come." You cut him off. "You're badass L/N, I'll give you that." Eddie said a smile plastered his face. You scoffed. "I hardly would call getting stuck in an RV window and needing a group of freshmans and you to help me, badass." You replied. "But of course. I've unfortunately got my mother's hips." You laid your head down and sighed out loud. "I think you've got some pretty nice hips." He stated. You shot your head up. "You do?" You asked. He nodded. "Not that I stare at your hips or anything, I just think they're um...they're uh...pretty...rad?" You furrowed your eyebrows together. "Rad?" You repeated. "So you must've really believed in me for you to risk coming to find me." Eddie stated changing the subject entirely.
You nodded. "You're a lot of things Eddie, but you're no killer. To hell to everyone who thinks otherwise." You stated. He smirked. "So I uh...remember you mentioned Metallica earlier, when we were looking for something for Nancy. You know them?" He asked. You nodded. "Hell yeah, I know Metallica. I don't live under a rock." You answered. "I hadn't realized you were a medal head." He stated. "Yeah well...you can't judge a book by its cover or some shit, right?" You responded. He laughed. "Yeah that's true.
You had continued to talk to Eddie until you arrived to the store. Everyone got out except Eddie since he obviously couldn't be seen and you decided to stay back and keep him company. "So how have you been?" You asked. "I know its a bit of a stupid question since you're obviously being hunted down, but I just thought I'd ask anyways." He smiled at you. "Well my life took a major shit rather quickly. '86 was supposed to be my year. At least I have you guys looking out for me. I honestly don't know what I'd do if you guys didn't believe me." He explained. You nodded and reached out for his hand. You grasped it. Eddie looked down at both of your hands together and he looked back up to you. You offered a comforting smile. "You can still make it your year. We can get you through this."
"Even if you do, people are still going to believe I'm a satan worshipper who killed Chrissy." He reminded you. You sighed and nodded. "What was she doing in your trailer anyways? That night." You could not help but to ask. "Buying drugs, like anyone else." He stated. "Seemed like she was pretty paranoid and wanted to calm herself down so I was looking for something in my trailer that could work." He explained. You were surprised. "Chrissy doing drugs? I'd sooner believe she'd cheat on that stiff Carver with you, then that." He laughed a bit. "Yeah I was surprised to when she asked me." He sat back and crossed his arms. "And that whole Chrissy and me thing? Wouldn't have happened." He said. "Oh really? Why because she was out of your league?" He grabbed his chest and faked getting wounded. "Ouch L/N. You're breaking my heart here." You started laughing. "But no, she just wasn't my type. Too..." He trailed off. "Preppy?" You asked. He shook his head. He then motioned his hands close together right before they could touch as if he was signifying something small. "Tiny." He said. You were lost and didn't quite understand where he was getting at. "So what is your type?" You asked him. He slowly eyed you up and down. A sly smirk grew on his face. "I like em' Big and Chunky."He stated.
