Astromorph [Among Us x Chonny Jash]

Soooo this fic has done numbers on the Chonny Jash Fanserver, so I thought it'd be worth it to start being on tumblr more often and posting it here! Be warned, there be emotional damage ahead! (and also polycule shenanigans)

Special thanks to @chemical-bunz for cowriting chapter 2 with me, and also helping me port it from google docs to ao3.

Deep in space, there is a crew on the ship Tycho with one united goal: curing the Astromorph virus, a parasitic infection that causes its victims to turn into monsters.

Seven dead bodies later, only four members of the crew remain; Atlas Terraquis, Apollo Kingsman, Doctor Artemis Juno, and Harmonia Goodei; and they’re no closer to their goal of curing the infection.

Now, one more is gone, and their fragile peace is corroding all at once.

And also how Vegas keeps showing up at the main family compound with no advanced notice, to chat up your bodyguard!

Are the families just allowed to come and go as they please? Does anyone even make a report when they show up?

Or are Kinn and Vegas just very good at sneaking past all the guards that are (presumably) watching the perimeters?

Planning to write my thesis or straight out devoting my life on the question of how todays pretty boy and mazhe is the same person, any thoughts?

Oooh I am fully on board with the thesis idea, Anon! It would be a fascinating case study on acting craft.

(Okay so when it comes to Ma Zhe I usually end up writing essays so I shall try to keep this short. 😅)

I agree in a physical appearance sense Ma Zhe looks very different to Long Ge: the hair, the make-up, Ma Zhe had really nice thighs - but nowadays it isn’t so much Ma Zhe that makes me look at Long Ge and then back at him in a “how are they the same person” type of way. It’s He Fei.

I look at He Fei and my brain still goes “that is not Zhu YiLong, nope, he has left the building that’s someone else.”

And it’s all due to his eyes - somehow he has mastered acting to such a level that he can do that with his eyes - I don’t know how to say in English like he has swapped souls with the character during filming.

The only time he was that unrecognizable to such a level for me in a movie/film was when he played Mo San Mei (and it wasn’t because he shaved his head either). xD

I can see still hints of Long Ge in Ma Zhe, because his eyes held that same reflection of familiarity ...idk what to call it in English… comforting soulfulness(?) that makes you wanna root for him, see what he does next, or in my case playfully call him a smol bean.. And I do not understand why I love Ma Zhe so much.
