Hello again, here’s the bare bones of a MAS story I will not be writing, yet. Stuff is going on. But I want to share because I think it’s funny.

Ok this is based on my head canon that Darla is a former revolutionary.

Basically sleep deprived Sabo getting the chief of staff is like “damn I’m youngest chief of staff ever, how awesome am I?”

And Dragon in his infinite autism is like “uhh well no? The youngest chief of staff was like 12.”

Which of course triggers Sabo long dormant sibling competitive nature. This leading to a little adventure where he tracks Darla down to challenge her for the role? Or something? (Very sleep deprived at this point)

(This is happening when he’s 16 btw)

Anyway, Sabo tracks Darla down which goes as well as anyone would expect. But he also meets Marco and immediately gets a crush (cause like competent man who can possibly kill him? We should kiss)

Whatever a year or two pass, Sabo keeps showing up to challenge Darla (who ignores him) and then hangs out with Marco. So, Ace eventually shows and Marco kinda gets a crush on him. But Ace doesn’t know how to feel, because he’s still mourning Sabo and Sabo is trying to get into Marcos pants.

Basically it’s very dumb and silly feel good where three idiots dance around eachother for at least ten pages because of amnesia and Comedic timing, they all kiss in the end and Darla throughly considers mutiny.

Sabo getting all up in Darla's face and Darla has this expression like there's a gnat bugging her. Swats him away like he weighs nothing (he kinda does to her, sabo's a twig). Marco has to patch him up after and that's where the crush starts for Sabo.

Marco thinks he's cute, but too young at the time. Then the years pass, Sabo keeps showing up to get pissy with Darla, Darla smacks him around, and Marco keeps patching him up. Sabo even tries recruiting Marco at one point ("we *help* people, and we're always hurting for more doctors to look over the refugees we're moving, you'd never have to fight again if you want!" Marco tells him "I enjoy fighting-yoi" with a stern look in his eye).

Ace gets press-ganged into Whitebeard's crew and has 2 months to settle in before Sabo scares the hell out of them both. Ace joins the fight, on Darla's side, and Darla promptly abandons the event entirely (because she was having a wonderful breakfast on the deck with a friend coughMalacough damnit, she's going back to that).

Marco has to pull them apart on the deck. He sits them down on opposite sides of the room, gets them back to proper order then mediates them talking their shit out. Takes the whole day and when they're done he gets to marvel at these two gluttony wiping out half of Thatxh's kitchen. Then gets to marvel at them passing out on each other iafter to sleep off the food and emotional upheaval.

And while they're asleep, snoring like animals, Marco realizes "oh no, they're not just young and cute anymore. They're *handsome*" and he's in trouble.
