So @maybetwice got the idea in my head of Loquatius becoming The Nightmare King in order to figure out a way to save Laerryn. I couldn't get it out of my head so I wrote this.

A few personal HCs that I incorporated:

1. Loquatius Seelie is not his real name. He's a Fey, they don't just give out their names willy nilly. But Laerryn knew his, he trusted her with it and knew she would never betray that trust.

2. Deals with Fey are binding and bad things happen if they aren't honored. It's one of my favorite bits of common Fey lore.

Well. After that emotional roller coaster of an episode I'm working on a part 2 of my "Loquatius becomes The Nightmare King" idea. Featuring splinters from the Tree of Names being lodged in his chest still and guiding him to the seed that Orym has. (Thanks for that @maybetwice) Also featuring Loquatius and Orym possibly bonding over a shared loss. Don't @ me I just think they're all so neat.
