Ok so I finished reading Leviathan today, and I noticed something while watching a video essay about Roland ( LEVIATHAN AND RUINA SPOILERS )

Due to a selfish decision made by Angela, the light was spread unevenly, which ruined Roland’s life.

Project Moon games have always thematically been about breaking cycles, both literally and metaphorically.

Breaking the Time Loop in Lobotomy Corporation. Breaking the cycle of abuse, revenge, and violence in Library of Ruina.

Other cycles still continue, of course. Carmen is still at large. The Light is still spread unevenly. Though, just like Binah said to Roland:

big lor spoilers but i somehow only JUST realized this

so for those who aren't aware, the blue earpieces on argalia's design actually play white noise because he can't stand silence.

now, anyone who's lived in a city knows you very rarely get any chance to be in complete silence, so for a while i didnt really get the point of him having that until i realized THE BLACK SILENCE (WHO WAS ORIGINALLY ANGELICA) has the gloves that BLOCK OUT NOISE around her .

thus there is the implication that he got that earpiece SPECIFICALLY so he could fight alongside his sister ...........
