What about a conversation between Vex and Laudna? Maybe one where Imogen is being protective of Laudna while they talk? No pressure to write this of course. :)

Laudna needed rest after the resurrection. She’d fallen asleep with Imogen there to watch over her, something she knew she didn’t need but appreciated nonetheless. She didn’t want to be alone, not even to sleep.

It was hours later that a gentle knock on the door woke both of them, and Imogen glanced at Laudna for silent permission to say “come in.”

It was Lady Vex’ahlia who opened the door. Her demeanor even now didn’t seem like that of royalty. She wasn’t shy, but…it was as if she’d made herself to appear on their level. Imogen couldn’t tell whether it was intentional. She was too wrapped up again in how similar this woman looked to Laudna, how they must have looked even more alike when Laudna was alive. There were differences, of course, and while Vex looked every bit a gorgeous model, Imogen couldn’t help but think Laudna was prettier.

“Laudna,” Vex said, “can I speak with you for a moment?”

Imogen glanced at Laudna again, and thought, It’s okay if you don’t want to. I can tell her now’s not the time.

No, darling, it’s all right, Laudna thought back. Then, out loud, she said, “Can Imogen stay?”

Vex looked between them. For a moment Imogen thought she was going to ask her to leave, but the Lady nodded. “Of course,” she said. “Whatever makes you most comfortable.”

Laudna sat up straighter, still stiff and sore, but tried to make herself presentable. Imogen lay a steadying hand on her arm as if to remind her she didn’t have to.

“It’s good to finally meet you,” Vex started. “I know you must have some very complicated feelings about me. I just wanted to apologize for what happened to you all those years ago. If there’s anything I can do to help you get back on your feet…”

“Oh.” Laudna blinked. “No, that’s—I think you’ve already helped more than I could have asked for. I’m not dead, so.” She gave an awkward, nervous laugh. “I’m better off than I was.”

Vex frowned. “Well, yes,” she said. “That was the least I could do. You don’t know how awful I’ve felt in the years since…that day. I’ve thought about you often, how much I wish I could have changed it. I just want to make things as right as I can.”

“You’ve felt awful?” The words came out of Imogen’s mouth before she had the good sense to stop them. “Imagine how she’s felt.”

“Imogen,” Laudna whispered. “Don’t. It’s not her fault.”

“No, she’s right,” Vex said. “That was a thoughtless thing to say. I’m sorry.”

Laudna nodded. “It’s all right.”

“I’m sorry, too,” Imogen murmured. “I know you didn’t do anything wrong. And I’m so grateful that you helped us get her back. I just—”

“You just love her,” Vex said with a soft smile. “I know. We can all be a little overprotective of the ones we love.”

“Yeah.” Imogen subconsciously took Laudna’s hand and met her eyes. “I love her more than anything.”

Laudna smiled bashfully, grateful that her blood moved too slowly to cause her to blush.

“I’ll leave you to get some more rest,” Vex said. “Just let me know before you leave if you think of anything you need. I’ll be at the castle.”

The door closed behind her as she left, and Imogen let out a breath she didn’t realize she’d been holding. “I’m sorry,” she said. “I didn’t mean to embarrass you in front of her.”

“Embarrass me?” Laudna brushed her fingers against Imogen’s cheek, then placed a gentle kiss there. “You were just standing up for me. I’m lucky to have someone like that.”

since bioware didn't show/tell shepard having nightmares in me2 i’m taking matters into my own hands

ok, so i hc sams nightmare is of him floating in a black void. the first noise to break the silence is the hissing of the tube breaking on the back of his helmet. he starts to suffocate and eventually dies, but he doesn't go anywhere. he continues to float, halfway aware, and begins to hear people(his squad-mates and maybe random voices too) screaming at him and yelling, and the wild electronic screeches that played over the prothean beacons warning. and then he’s suddenly alive again, but he’s still floating in the void. then he starts to suffocate again. the cycle repeats until he finally wakes up

basically the trauma of dying and also not being allowed to stay dead and the fear of it happening again. the weird feeling of him not being a person anymore, but like everyone mentions in me2, “an icon, a symbol” :))

probablyahazards album compilation for sad little losers

i was tagged by the lovely @nuclear-cowboy​ to give the 4 albums I listen to alot!!! I’m one of those people who doesn’t really listen to full albums, my soul picks a little song to make my whole personality that month and then I just play it on repeat

Shut In by Pigeon Pit - I have recommended this album to literally all of my friends. This album was my first introduction to Pigeon Pit for me when i was around 15? and every song I've listened to has branded itself onto my soul.

Stick Season by Noah Kahan - This is a more recent addition to my little musical menagerie, however no less than half this album is on my 'if these songs arent on my spotify wrapped in suing' playlist so i think it counts. I could go on forever about this album so lets just leave it at when the delux version drops I'll be off losing my mind in a corner

Pebble Brain by Lovejoy - Yes, i know I'm basic and sad. shut up. there are a lot of reasons i love this album, but the one imma put here is that i graduated high school the year this album dropped. To this day me and my friend cry at the chorus to model blues because that shit hits different when you're leaving school and are scared of the future.

The Tower (Original Podcast Soundtrack) by Tin Can Audio - Now this one might be cheating a little but i dont care hehe. my go to 'the thoughts are too loud again time for some background music' playlist. the track 'Funny Ideas About Eternity' is absolutely the soundtrack to my dreams. this podcast is also very good if you wanna go give it a listen.
