[Start ID: 3 pages of scene doodles from the Lost Memory HLVRAI AU askblog featuring Gordon and B (AKA Benrey) and the happenings that follow B's shift to "King X".

Gordon is rushing down the stairs in the dark of his house without his glasses on while pointedly ignoring the ask from smiley-face anon, which reads: "You bring this upon yourself, Gordon. Just give it a little push and you immediately fell back to your old ways of thinking back then, all about Murder and Violence! No wonder he's so scared of you even after losing his memories...:)" Gordon then trips and falls down the last two steps because he can't clearly see where he's going.

B after his shift to "King X". Three eyes have sprouted in place of his single right eye, and a couple of detached eyes hover around his shoulders. All of his eyes are glowing in the darkness of the early hours. He scratches at his chin with an almost bored look as he says: "Oh yeah. You two. Anxiety and Death, side by side." Besides this, there is a drawing of Gordon and Benrey tussling on the ground, Benrey having managed to gain the upper hand and pin Gordon to the floor with his body weight. Gordon glares with grit teeth into the face of his wildly-grinning assailant as he struggles to get him off of himself. They are both cast in shadows.

Surprisingly, Benrey just leans down and plants a kiss on Gordon's nose bridge. "heh, fooled ya, feetmannnn. Clumsy lil nerd, tripping down the stairs like that, so, uh, cringe," Benrey says, poking a clawed fingertip at Gordon's chest. His tail comes round to brush Gordon's side, two eyes with dilated pupils peeping out at him from the tassle at the end of it. Gordon lets his head thump back in relief and chagrin, groaning in annoyance. Below this interaction is another drawing of Benrey and Gordon sometime later, Benrey still lying on top of him with his chin propped on one hand, and the other tapping a finger idly at Gordon's chest. His tail is relaxed behind him. Gordon asks: "Can I get up now, Benrey? Hello?" But Benrey isn't listening. He's got his eyes closed with an easy smile on his face. /End ID.]

Splatoon AU anyone?

rewatched some HLVRAI and also have been playing a lot of splatoon... so HERE YOU GO ! ! ! more details and some lore under the cut... not too long, I wanna keep some things for future posts ;)

Okay so BASICALLY

Gordon Freshman (wip name lol) is exploring/researching a lost human civilization, one of the last on Earth before all of humanity was wiped out. He finds in one of the buildings various tubes of cryostasis... with a variety of species. Some of the tubes are too frozen over to see inside.

He somehow gets frozen too, and his brain is connected to a virtual network where all the other frozen people reside. The network is pretty nice, but if you ever try to escape, or do something 'wrong', a challenge/test gets thrown at you like in Octo Expansion. Basically, this place is Keeping You Here.

Turns out, Benrey (one of the humans in the colony who froze himself just before the big blast, but the machine malfunctioned and never unfroze him... basically keeping his mind intact, but his body unusable) is the one controlling the place and he's really lonely after... oh... y'know... 10,000 years of isolation... so he's determined to make sure his new friends do not leave.

feel free to ask me anything abt this au ;) ALSO IF ANYONE HAS GOOD NAMES FOR THE CHARS LMK. So far all i got is Gordon Freshman, Bubbles (lol) or Bubbly, and Coomer's name... well... Salmon Names have unusual conventions, but man I'm warring with myself not to call him Doctor Super Punch Out!! For the Nintendo Entertainment System.

B, AKA Benrey, in Gordon's hoodie, with a flashlight in one hand while the other fiddles with one of the hoodie drawstrings. There are small abrasion marks on his face and a small gap in the hoodie hood reveals that his upper torso is bandaged. There's also a small bandaid on his index finger. He has just read an anon ask from a user dubbed "orange anon" which reads: "Hmm... Well, just in case. If you do something to hurt him, fall back into old patterns, in that case it would be best for you to leave. If you hurt him once with full knowledge of what you were doing, you could do it again. Especially since now, you don't know what you're doing. You don't know how to avoid being yourself or being bad. Fool him once, shame on him, hurt him twice, shame on you. If that happens... then you leave." B's mouth is turned down slightly at the corner and he is looking away. He looks upset.

B, still wearing the hoodie, pointing and saying "Weren't you the one you tried to get me killed?" with a grin on his face. This is pertaining to the "smiley-face" anon who had tried to encourage Gordon to kill B. However, this is from a now deleted scene.

A physical representation of the "punching glove" anon - represented by a punching glove in place of the figure's head - sitting next to B, who is in his tattered security guard uniform here, in the truck as he's driving. Their belly region is suspiciously box-shaped and there are metal "crumbs" around the corner of the "mouth" they form with their boxing glove head, like a sock puppet. It seems they've eaten the box B had found in the truck. "B, I'm full :)" the anon says, giving B a thumbs up. B squints at them: "what did you eat?" /End ID.]
