With the changes tumblr has made I have decided to post to Ao3 and then link here to tumblr. I have kept a tag list when others have stopped and have kept posting here but am making the switch. I still don’t trust Mike... for all we know this could be an elaborate ploy to trap her (and Bucky!). They make an amazing team though because they have very similar values and want to fight, but there’s a balance... Jesses a little more gung-ho whereas Bucky is a little more cautious and calculating. I love their interactions and how they’re becoming more open and comfortable with each other. And I, also, love one (1) drama queen ����

Ah, Mike. More will be revealed tomorrow, but yes. Mike. OY. I love your analysis of their partnership! I don’t think of her as particularly gung-ho (see: her  to actually commit to even just teaching with Bucky back in like... part 4 or 5?), but she’s certainly ready and determined to be actively in support of Bucky rather than sitting back and letting him go at it alone! The protective instincts are strong with them both, but that just means they don’t agree here haha

The fact that they are slowly getting more used to each other... slow burn is slow, but there is some progression happening :P

There’s been so much love from y’all i’m british i shouldn't be allowed to say y’all over the past 24 hours and in my actual life it’s been a pretty shitty 24 hours so I really appreciate all the wonderful comments and lovely people, I can’t fathom your kindness rn. @thirstresponsibly Ah, I’m afraid I am a teenager but I promise not to be too scary like a few of my peers are. Protective!Bucky is a big fave, but I wanted to do a bit less fighty protective and more of a soft protective. I’m glad you enjoyed it!

@avengersbabe13 I’m a total sucker for a damsel in distress too, i get you completely, but I couldn't resist making it a tad more realistic. Bucky would’ve had to be stopped beating that kid up so we had some soft, caring protection instead.
