today's locked on sharks episode is absolutely crazymaking like...we all know the sharks are dysfunctional as hell and the cuda are suffering untold levels of mismanagement, and obviously the whisper campaign of exiting/fired cuda org members is getting louder but the one that gets me is like. not providing meals for the team?? until march????? the bar is in the fucking basement and they can't even jump over it. the kauly thing was absolutely baffling to me for a lot of reasons - and good on him for saying something and being willing to kill his nhl career over it - but it's bananas wild to me that the mismanagement goes all the way down to not providing food for the team for most of the season! fucking unreal, what are we doing here!!

The Muses hit me with some random inspiration today so here’s a proper design sheet for He of the Lingering Smog and the Glittering Lights, aka Hollywood Angel, aka the God of Los Angeles, featuring the script Chahvinik by @thecrazyneographist.

He’s mostly based on the name of his city, the fashion sense of the famous bit of Humanity that calls him home (clothing is half gala dress, half black tie suit), all the ink those writers use up, paparazzi, Hollywood’s history of censorship, the smog that blankets his land, the manipulative nature of the industry, and the horses of the Spanish who took the land for the Angels.

#someone should take the sharkuda to the tech interactive!! the top floor exploded my brain and it would definitely explode their brains too #my parents and i were originally going to go to the sharks game but i got miserly and waited too long to get tickets and also. do you know #hard it is to get a set of *three* tickets together. impossible for less than $80 apparently!! the drive down was also very stressful #because we were trying to get lunch on the way down the peninsula and my dad thought my mom only wanted in n out but the two drive throughs #we tried had like twenty cars lined up and my dad lost his temper in the parking lot and my mom said it didn't HAVE to be in n out so my da #peeled outta there and we went to his favorite taqueria in the area which had a HUGE salsa and side bar (for free! i squirreled away two #whole limes) and their carne asada super burrito settled everyone down :)) #by the time we got to san jose the puck had already dropped so decided to pivot and check out the tech interactive since my mom and i hadn' #had time the last time we were here in the summer and oh my GOB THEIR HUMAN BODY EXHIBIT IS. WOW. it was a lovely time walking around #looking very closely at very realistic models of human organs :3 and oh! my mom and i made a bacteria plate together :3 and my dad and i #made a robot with a spinning fish and flashing lights on it :3 and i fell asleep most of the way into the serengeti film in the imax dome : #and then we went to the 99 ranch where the dungeness crab was THREE NINETY NINE. and my mom got some big napa cabbages and one little one #for me :3 and oh then the guy ahead of us in the checkout gave me his $1 coupon for the bakery :3 #and that's what i did today!! #sor.txt

I did so much today and none of it was homework but I DID sign up for ice skating lessons again and this is it I can feel it, this is the year I do a forward crossover without eating shit.

#local blogger sucks shit at ice skating but has a can do attitude!!! #i took lessons for almost two years and never managed and my teacher eventually passed me from her class bc it was so demoralizing for her #for someone to fail that many consecutive classes but still show up each week #but then my insomnia got really bad and i was just physically too weak to take lessons at 8am and had to quit #and then the pandemic hit and all the rinks closed for like almost a year and then i just never went back #but my body is atrophying and i hate going to the gym bc it's boring. my friends were like well do something that will keep you accountable #and so i'm back at it ready to fail for another two years!!! #sadly it is at sharks ice and not my little community rink that closes during the summer #which is horrifying. if i fall in front of the barracuda again i am never going to a game again #did i tell you all abt the time i was walking out of sharks ice after going to a public skate #and they had a big crane in the parking lot and i got distracted looking it at it #and tripped off the sidewalk and nearly fell #and then turned around and it was literally the entire sjsu hockey team walking out of the rink just staring me #i was like damn sorry you're too cool to be interested in construction equipment #like find your joy. it's a big crane with a huge ass piece of steal. how is that not worth looking at 😤 #similar to the time i was skating at a public skate and tripped and looked up and members of barracuda were just there. watching from above #the opposite of a meet cute. a meet fail #i was like well this will be funny when i retell it to my uncles #and i told my uncles later and one of them laughed so hard he had to stop eating dinner bc he was afraid he would choke #and that's on san jose hockey! #fresno oilers.txt
