HQ 3k artwork + two versions, with and without flame here
A King and a Holy King. The painting depicts the heartbreaking moment when Lorian embrace the curse along with his brother Lothric.
Lorian, Elder Prince and Lothric, Younger Prince, also known as the Twin Princes, are a pair of antagonists in Dark Souls III. Lorian is a knight with gold and black armor. Lothric is a magical, using an unfamiliar holy light energy that functions like crystal sorceries of the highest level. Two brothers who share a deep connection and love for each other, with a tragic fate. Lothric was weak and he was the keeper of the fire, his royal parents wanted him to burn himself over and over again, keeping the flame alive until the end of time. He was cursed, and Lorian, the heir to the throne, who loved his brother, accepted the curse and shared part of his pain with him, and he refused the royal inheritance (Lorian decided to embrace his brother's curse and burn in his brother's stead, and probably this is why Lothric refuse to link the fire). Lothric, on the other hand, provides his brother with life force with his magical power. Even when Lorian was crippled and mute he never left his brother, he carries him on his back, and treats him with great respect. They don't leave each other to the end.
