Sister’s friend first introduced us to the cheap confections at Hong Kao Liao Li (烘烤料理) when he bought some cakes for us. Managed to find a branch in Yishun and here are the goodies we bought. Brownie Cake (布朗尼蛋糕) is chocolatey and moist with a layer of dark chocolate glaze topped with chocolate chips. This delectable brownie has a pinch of salt added to the mix to balance out the richness of the chocolate and it cost only S$4.50 for a whole block!

A S$3 piece of soft fluffy textured cake with barely there pumpkin flavour. I would not have known that this is a Pumpkin Cake (金瓜蛋糕) had I not been told in advanced.

This S$1.60 slice of Lemon & Cranberry Cake (柠檬老爷爷) comes with sweet & tangy dried cranberries and lemon zests though I couldn’t detected the citrusy flavour in there at all. The texture is also a little on the coarse side though I like the buttery profile of it.

The Walnut Pastry (核桃酥) at S$1.40 apiece has walnuts embedded on both sides of the pastry. Within the crumbly pastry hides lotus seed paste that is not too sweet.

Lastly, sis and friend also bought back a box of Durians knowing that mum love them. I have no idea of the cultivar though, just that they were sweet and creamy. :D

Wait so I'm confused, did Poseidon put Hermes up to it and told him to keep them at the lotus hotel for days, passing the solstice, and actually starts the war between the gods because he couldn't stand to see Percy on the quest and in danger ?

Did he actually start a war which would essentially have apocalyptic consequences just so his 12 years old son could be safe ? Is that what's happening here ?

If that's what happened, Well I think he does get parenting brownies points (to an extent, you know because Percy could die in said war) for that but maybe not actual decent person points.

I wrote a brief description of all the characters; those who are in the plot, but most likely will not be drawn, are highlighted in color.

Let me explain for the canon: the names were changed, as well as the appearance, because after leaving the FH they need to hide somehow, they try to call each other by new name when they are behind the walls of their home base. I also changed the hierarchy of the army in the universe, the commanders became marshals.

Let me explain the type of animal I chose for the heroes. In Russia they found out long ago that the heroes of the project are all chipmunks, not squirrels. In Korea, squirrel and chipmunk are combined in one word; for Koreans they are the same animal. Because there was no official Wikipedia SaH, then just look at the characters: the stripe on the head, stripes on the tails, round ears - these are direct signs that the heroes are chipmunks. The squirrels were shown as sharp-tailed and pointy-eared gray animals (that is, the same Oegwi and Mul covers from episode 27)
