It looks like the ML movie is gonna be on Netflix instead of theaters here and I gotta admit I'm a little disappointed! I kinda wanted to hang out with other ml fans irl for a bit, all incognito but maybe wearing one of my pins to see if anyone recognized it.

I AM glad that this should mean I can watch it in French, though. And also that it will be easier/cheaper to watch.

Guys. It’s been like 6 months since I saw the Miraculous movie on Netflix. And I’m STILL salty that this song was cut. Back in 2019 this was our only crumb for the plot of the movie. We knew it was coming out after season 5. The song had hints of reverse-love-square or even a collapsed love square. I was HYPED.

Even after discovering that the movie was simply Jeremy Zag’s rewrite of the first 5 seasons and an AU telling of the Agreste Saga, I was still hyped to hear this song.

“Stronger Together” is a great song. I did love it as the romance duet of the movie, but I was still so hyped to hear “The Wall Between Us”. I had been listening to it countlessly for 3 years. The movie concludes, and.... it’s nowhere! OK, maybe it’s the closing theme music? Nope. “Stronger Together” again. “The Wall Between Us” is just.... gone. And I don’t even remember hearing news of it being cut. The song that was the FIRST promo for the movie... and... *poof*!

What’s worse is that “The Wall Between Us” is not only still listed under the movie’s soundtrack on IMDb, but it’s also the ONLY song listed under the movie’s soundtrack!

I think I’ll forever be saddened that we never actually got Marinette and Adrien officially singing this song to each other....

Many Miraculous fans wondered why from the project "Ladybug and Cat Noir. The film" without explanation, Lenny Kim disappeared, who was supposed to sing for the Cat Noir.

In a recent interview, Lou said that she is not communicating with Lenny Kim right now, Lenny himself recorded a short video in which he asked everyone to support Lou and Elliot as songwriters in "Ladybug and Cat Noir. The movie".

Lenny Kim became popular at the age of 14, when in 2015 he took part in the competition The Voice Kids ("The Voice. Children") on TF1. In the same year, he released the single Pourquoi Tout Perdre, timed to coincide with World Suicide Prevention Day. The song became number one on the French singles chart. He participated in the Dancing with the Stars contest and reached the final, in 2017 he released his debut album, two singles from which were quite popular. He starred in the TV series Demain nous appartient ("Tomorrow belongs to us"), together with Lou recorded songs for "Ladybug and Cat Noir. The movie", and then suddenly disappeared from the field of view of fans.

As it turned out, after that Lenny Kim got sick. He came into show business as a teenager and couldn't stand the strain. Lenny worked very hard and was emotionally exhausted, he began to get depressed. Therefore, he stopped working and even communicating with colleagues, including Lou.

As Lenny himself said in a TV interview in April this year, he is doing well now, thanks to sports and therapy, he has recovered, depression is over.

We wish the young and talented Lenny Kim health and good luck, like Lady Bug 👍

She has both some agreements and issues with her

In this alternate scenario (between "Volpina" and "Chameleon"), Marinette has turned her interest on Lila, skipping Adrien (she later discovers her real appearance (wig, multiple identities, research of attention, etc.))

These two characters has similarities despote their personalities and methods/actions (the good and the evil are attracted each other)

i love ce mur qui nous sépare and i can't wait to listen the rest of the songs of the miraculous movie, i've seen the rehearsals that Lou and Lenni Kim did a few years (!) ago (i guess they did the singing voices of marinette and adrien)

and now there's a new song that lou sings with somebody else and then i saw that the soundtrack is available in spotify but there's no lenni !!!!

i don't know if he decided to cut relations with miraculous and zag chose another male singer, that's just my guess but i loved him as the voice of chat noir :/

Yes I saw recently that he had been replaced by Eliott! He participated in The Voice a while ago and I thought he gave really nice vibes, so I think if Lenni had to be replaced, Elliott's a good choice. He was also a part of a YouTube band that did covers a few years ago (they've stopped now) called Cover Garden and they just looked like a nice & chill group of friends having fun so I honestly have a good image of him in my mind if that helps 😊

I don't know the reasons why Lenni left. But I've been watching a french tv talk show recently (they upload the episodes on YouTube so I've watched it here - it's "Ça commence aujourd'hui" for those who speak French & know about it) where basically they have a theme and guests come to talk about their experience regarding this theme - it's very enlightening, and usually their guests are random people from everyday life, and sometimes celebrities but it's very rare. Anyway a couple of months ago they released an episode that featured Lenni Kim and it was about depression. And he talked about his own depression which seemed rough (and got worse with covid of course) so my guess would be that it's one of the main reasons he quitted because he had to take care of himself.

But of course I don't know if it's the real reason, it's just me speculating, and I don't really follow what's going on in his life apart from that talk show I saw, so who knows!

I hope you'll still enjoy the movie and the songs though 🥺 but yeah if it can reassure you I think Elliott is sweet from what I remember of him and sang pretty well too, so I'm sure he's a good replacement even if it's sad Lenni left
