February 17th - LuLu by Lou Reed and Metallica
Genres: Avant-Garde Metal, Progressive Metal, Spoken Word
This is the finale studio album by Lou Reed, and it’s a collaboration with Metallica, who are among my favourite bands.
This Collab gets a lot of hate on the internet, especially in circles centred around Metallica, because it’s a big departure from their usual style (Though that can be said of anything after the black album..)
I definitely liked it. One of my favourites from Lou Reed, and a very good metallica album (All of their albums are very good).
My favourites are: Brandenburg Gate, The View, Mistress Dread, Cheat On Me, and Junior Dad.
This concludes my listen to Lou Reed’s discography! I enjoyed it thoroughly.
Next up is probably either megadeth or me finishing metallica’s discography.
