dollie i know you said no more schlatt but you're my fav schlatt writer and the only person i'd trust with this idea🫣

cheesy christmas cards/photoshoots with schlatt and the cats, with the tacky costumes and everything, the cliche poses, just funny cringe stuff. it becomes sort of an inside joke, and a yearly tradition, and it continues even after you guys have kids, putting them in the silly matching costumes

that is all, living for your ted era, because i'm obsessed with him too

*sigh* even when i came close to quitting he still haunts me /j

schlatt has everything planned out, from the theme of the christmas card to the outfits. schlatt hires a professional photographer to take the photos of you and the cats.

he spends a good two hours getting the tiny custom made sweaters onto jambo and [redacted] and trying to get them to keep it on for the photo. tiny cat santa hats, he goes all the way for these photos.

he even makes you do your hair in a 80’s poofy, curly, over sprayed style with the ugliest sweater you have ever laid your eyes on to match. schlatt is dressed to match you and is stoked to take the photos.

he wears his glasses and sits in a chair so you can put your hands on his shoulder and lean on him in that christmas card pose. he holds the cats as they start to try and take off their sweaters and he makes sure to pick out the worst possible photo out of all of them.

one where you’re not looking at the camera as [redacted] starts to hiss, jambo is getting ready to jump off his lap and schlatt is giving the biggest, psychotic smile known to man to the camera as the chaos starts around him.

he loves that picture and reposts it every single Christmas alongside the other pictures that show the chaos unfolding.

with kids it only gets better (or worse depending on how you see it), he picks the theme based on the classics from how the grinch stole christmas to a christmas story. they’re often the worst and best photos people have ever seen.

from your baby’s first christmas, schlatt dressed as the grinch, you as martha may and your poor little cindy lou who sobbing her eyes out as her dad holds her on her lap

all the way to their teenage years, your oldest dressed in ralph’s bunny onesie, youngest in a thick red coat with a scarf barely letting them peak through to look at the camera, you holding a turkey about to fall out of the tray and you husband holding that damn leg lamp.

he loves looking back on the photos from your first christmas together to the most recent, he puts them up as soon as thanksgiving is over and doesn’t take them down until after new years. he absolutely loves the stupid photos no matter how cringey they may look, he always finds a way to make them worse every year and sends them out to his friends just in time for the beginning of the christmas season

𑁍In Greek religion, a supernatural power a demon is an evil spirit, a daemon is a good spirit. The word daemon is derived from the Greek term daimōn.

𑁍To tune into your daemon you can recite the mantra of your ketu Nakshatras .I can put up a post about the mantras if anyone wants to know , but I really haven't tried it , so I can't assure the accuracy .

𑁍By various cases as I have seen , sometimes ketu awakening can be a very harsh process , so before you do it , make sure you are sure about it.

𑁍The daemon can either make you or break you , it will work in your favour if you learn to control it or else you will be absorbed by it .In one of the observation a person's daemon made them write continuously on the wall , without knowing what they were upto .

for marcus. it's pretty much wherever his friends and family are. a familiar face always makes him feel Safe. he was born in california so thats Also home to him. but sometimes he wants to be as far away from there as possible. like i said before home is Warmth and Safety thats what it is to him.

same for jason, but he has never really felt like that. not for a very long time anyway <3 home??? he doesnt feel like he has one. he doesnt feel like he really Belongs anywhere + he doesnt want to admit it but marcus is the closest thing he has to home and thats Very gay of him i think

marcus hugs lou and morgan all the time. they are Very Close. he loves hugs. he loves the warmth + comfort and safety that comes from it. again. he is like a little cat in a patch of sunlight. he loves affection his brain always goes !!!!!!!! when anyone is nice to him and compliments him. biggest cheesiest grin you have ever seen Every Time.

to jason, marcus is the single most delightful person he has ever met in his life. a ray of sunshine. he would collect every single star in the universe for the guy if it meant he'd be happy. the goofy smile makes him Very Weak at the knees every time he sees it. and marcus smiles So often. he's in hell. this little man made him realise that he's allowed to love and Be loved and that not everyone has an ulterior motive. the world isnt out to get him. he loves Everything about marcus he cant deal with it bc he's 'too cute' or whatever. again very gay of him. also he loves how short marcus is compared to him bc of how Easy he is to pick up. A+ boyfriend material he couldnt have asked for better

AND to marcus?? jason is very much still big and scary and intimidating, but he finds that very. endearing in a weird way. bc he Knows most of how jason looks/acts is just a front he's putting on. marcus has a think for broody men ok. anyway. he's seen the man smile a few times and he went Insane. internally. every single time. a small genuine smile that makes Him weak at the knees. they cant smile at each other or they will both collapse. he looks at jason and he's like thats MY big huge handsome man that will carry me when i am a little bit tired. my absolute bastard man. my man will kick your man's ass in a fight he's so good at it. and he's pretty (: he is the prettyest man i have ever seen in my ENTIRE life. there is no one prettier. have you seen his eyes?? have you seen how Tall he is?? he's so tall. im in love with him your honour.

i think what actually seriously got me into them was get back. i remember seeing it somewhere and noting to myself that i might watch it, expecting the episodes to be an hour long or so, and then i saw how long they actually were lmao. i decided to watch it still, and i finished the whole series in a day, hooked hopelessly. it was almost exactly a year ago; i remember watching the last episode in the dark with only christmas lights glowing. i have to rewatch it in the same atmosphere 😌

i did listen to them a bit before that though. i only got into classic rock a couple years ago or so but didn't know much about the beatles and didn't really care about their earlier songs (except for maybe yesterday that i listened to when i was like 14 😭), but then a friend told me to listen to strawberry fields forever and it surprised me so much, it was nothing like what i've heard before or what i associated the beatles with. then some other songs followed, nowhere man being one of the first songs of theirs i obsessively had on repeat for hours and days. i still blame get back for the state i'm in now though lmao.

as for other artists i like- of course all of the beatles solo stuff, but especially john! adore literally all of his albums (and i quite enjoy yoko's stuff too for that matter lmao). i don't listen to elton john as much as i used to, but i have almost all of his 70s albums on vinyl. all in all, i enjoy 60-70s music, even though i'm mostly into the 60s at the moment. so to name a few- elvis, harry nilsson, david bowie, lou reed, the rolling stones, the kinks, ELO. i'm only familiar with a couple of their famous songs though, mostly. and however out of place it might sound, one of my all-time favorites is lana del rey.

lately i've been getting into cilla black and marianne faithfull! and even though i don't listen to much of newer music, i liked weyes blood's latest album and absolutely adore father john misty's chloe and the next 20th century!
