Briefly, I'll share the feedback I've sent and will continue to send to WB Discovery and Max: while amid a health crisis late last year, watching OFMD was a huge part of the comfort and humor that got me through a dark time. I was waiting to see if I could recover or if I was headed down a long, agonizing slide into the grave. As a subject of cPTSD, homophobia, body dysmorphia, and bullying, the representation shown in a positive and non-pandering manner was huge; the talents of the cast and crew have made OFMD the most important media I've seen in my entire life.

Indeed - The Gentleman Pirate helped save my life.

1. I cannot believe the good people of the rural midwest really looked at that kid and said yeah, she'll marry a man

2. Baby when you fight for your space to grow all of that repression is going to fall away into brilliant, raging queerness
