sometimes he'll just kiss your lips if you can't stop overthinking or putting yourself down, sometimes he'll just do it because he couldn't hold it anymore to see you talking and not being able to stop it

but other than that, he'll always ask you for permission

he'll take pictures of you secretly just so you could see how beautiful you are when you don't see the camera or when you're not looking at it directly

Hello! Im the anon who first rq for the hc. Can you do a Greninja X Reader?

Bonjour returning Anon! Another random but appreciated request I've gotten… I apologise before like with the other request (this one) if this isn't what you wanted dear Anonymous. Greninja is a Pokemon I've never gotten my hands on and is a Pokemon I usually overlook it but that doesn't mean I don’t plan on catching it whenever I can nowadays. And since you didn't state too much besides a Pokemon and it being headcanons I'll just do love ones (slightly overprotective and anxious). I do hope regardless you'll like them dear anon! But regardless- let's go!

The reader is gender-neutral as no gender was stated and the same with the Pokemon who I'll just use a male gender with as it is his predominant gender. (all starters genders are more male based)

Dating a Pokemon gets reactions you aren't too shocked, or sadly, surprised to receive

Shock, disgust, and sometimes even curiosity. But it mainly is just you ignoring strangers who begin degrading just for your love interest when you both walk down the streets: Your starter. He is probably the nicest Pokemon you've come across and was honestly very caring.

When it came to stuff that didn't involve you he is not as overprotective and paranoid- but for you he is and probably for the rest of his life be very protective and cautious of what you're doing. But he doesn't push too far when you tell him to stop, although he'll be reluctant.

The main reason he even began becoming more protective was when you both were starting off your adventure, and you roamed elsewhere and off the path, (and where you shouldn't have been) through the forest after you thought you saw a cute Pokemon. Losing your Froakie who was searching frantically for you.

"Froak! Kie!" he could be heard barely crying as you at this point were very much a lost sheep, you ended up getting a massive scar from the injury from a very over-levelled residing... Creature.

And since you hardly got a good enough look at them you have no clue who/what they were and too but regardless which you still have barely on your side but thankfully it has healed and the scar no longer remains. At least for you, but for your Greninja it very much still exists.

Constantly worried of when he'd likely lose you again, and probably for real, never to see your pretty smile or to hear your voice to command and motivate him-  and the thought of it is almost always present in his brain.

But whenever he see's you come home his thought leaves only for them to return once you leave again though that front door. He just wishes you'd stay home and stay inside most of the time even though he knows that isn't healthy. You can hardly stay in one place, let alone sleep at night without walking around for roughly ten minutes to wear yourself out.

But whenever he does find you sleeping he usually snuggles up next to you, and he knows you appreciate the snuggles but sometimes you think he can be overbearing with how he has to almost always be around you.

He enjoy snuggling with you while watching stuff and enjoys watching you sleep. It relaxes him being able to see you asleep. Why? It shows how much you trust him and it shows that the trust goes semi-both ways. I say semi because he will always have subtle doubts about your safety.

He'll cook you breakfast as best as he can, he isn't the most skilled in cooking- especially with fire. But he tries his best nonetheless and you appreciate his cooking anyway.

But in the end, he loves you, that's all that matters right?

a personal HC of the DCA’s.

There’s a mechanical sensor only in the back of their head that detects light and dark.

that’s why Gregory’s flashlight didn’t work. They don’t use their eyes as a light sensor, they use the literal back of their head.

Oooooooooo I like that HC! It also would make more sense from a design perspective. Little kids can be rough (even when they don’t mean to me) and could knock loosen/damage something from the DCAs face by accident. So things like sensors and all that are on the back, lessening the chance of reviving a hard blow.

On that note I HC that they also have other sensors back there. Like a form of spacial awareness and can ‘see’ behind themselves.

Meaning the DCAs could be seen as doing the mom thing,

Sun: I’ve got eyes at the back of my head! ;)

Kids: *laugh but ignore it and try to pull something*

Sun without even having to turn around: no!

Kids: *screm & scatter*

Nezuko can’t help but always stare at you, your just so pretty/handsome how could she not look at you? You even distract her from her video games a few times. I mean of course you already know your good looking a lot of people remind you of that everyday sometimes Nezuko wants to tell you that but she doesn’t want to bother you.

Nezuko always pay more attention to you more then others. When they discover they’re got a crush:

I don't think he'd know right away. It'd probably start as thinking about them a bit more than usual. He'd then hug for longer, or give more physical affection. Then he'd be like "Oh, oh wait." and attempt to gather himself a little more. The things he does for friends could be considered romantic so I think he'd shrug it off at first. After that? Well, I'd think he'd be very active in trying to get their attention

How they confess/hint:

More cultural sharing! He'd write little notes in Japanese, "Have a good day at work!", " You're doing great!", things like that. He thinks that while German customs can be very romantic, sharing his with whoever he's with adds an extra bit of depth to the sentiment he's trying to get out. It's a trust thing, while he's more than happy to share general things with acquaintances and people he respects, it's a whole other ballpark when it comes to the type of gestures reserved for his partner that he feels is very very special

Big gestures of love:

Big gestures would be handmade gifts hands down. He has experience with making things from wood, and he'd probably make decorative chop sticks for his partner, or little lucky cats :> I'd like to think, also, that because he loves doing things for his partner, the biggest gesture would be to know their routine and do things when he's got a day off to give them some peace from tasks around the house ^^

Being genuine. He would rather see them extend boundaries and put themselves first than to see them overextend themselves to please other people. He knows exactly where that'd put someone, and he wants the respect enough to be honest about intentions. He loves hearing about what they like, what they don't, and what makes them a person. He appreciates the faults that makes them an individual, because what makes a good person doesn't come inherent to everyone, being kind and fair above all would definitely make him want to be around more

How to break their heart:

Bitter jealousy. He likes when his partner would be a little possessive in public because he's used to it from Eva (and he's just Like That sometimes), but he would definitely hate and be upset by them being malicious with it. He's more than willing to talk about things, but he'd be hard pressed to be okay with them being aggressive towards someone because they wanted to show off. He doesn't appreciate theatrics when it negatively impacts anyone. Lying to him about the intentions they would have with him or anyone else would also put a strain. He'd stand to tolerate a lot, but his standards for general interaction with friends or strangers isn't something he'd ditch just for them

Tiny little turn-ons:

Very very much a hc but hands. Just the way they feel, how they hold things. It's not exactly a fetish, but it is a small focus. His brain just notices it more (esp after being on the run for a while) and he finds comfort in being so close to someone and they would touch him gently, he loves the gentle touches :3

Eva was probably very okay in the first half, she'd be excited about his prospects and ambitions, but she seemed to cut it off after Kenzou actually got where she wanted him to be, like at the start of the series. I think she's a very interesting lady, I love her bunches but her and Kenzou were not it man

How they might affect current relationships:

Tbh, trauma (even if not intentional) can carry over from one relationship to another in really odd ways. He'd probably be slow to show any overt affections, because Eva probably hated the huge displays if she wasn't the one initiating. He'd also be really quiet while cooking or, it'd take a minute for him to cook at all. There's also the thought that his partner wanted more from him, or a huge panic over not doing something right/grandiose that would somehow disappoint. He needs a hug

‘Goals’ in a relationship (marriage, kids, a house, etc):

I feel that all he'd need is for his partner to be happy, while stable financially and with a good house, he'd be more concerned about emotional welfare (because we all know, you can have everything you want and still feel like shit) and he'd do just about to make sure they were happy
