Within India, the most love marriages take place in Kerala and the north-eastern states. This could be due to a higher proportion of Christians and tribals without caste limitations. Yet the largest survey in India suggests that only 3% of marriages are love marriages, 93% are arranged, and 4% are "semi-arranged". Semi-arranged marriages are not based on love, although the youngsters have more say in them. Less than 5% of marriages are across castes. Youngsters marrying across castes have often been burned alive by their parents with the full approval of village elders to "save the honour" of the family and village. Honour killings represent the tyranny of the old over the young.

Is it good to have a lot of planets in your 1st house?
Having a lot of planets in the 1st house of the natal chart can have both positive and challenging implications, depending on various factors such as the nature of the planets involved, their placements, aspects, and the overall configuration of the chart. Here are some considerations:
Strong Personality: When multiple planets are positioned in the 1st house, it can indicate a strong emphasis on the individual's personality, identity, and self-expression. This person may possess a dynamic and assertive nature, with a strong sense of self.
Versatility: The presence of multiple planets in the 1st house can bestow versatility and a wide range of interests and abilities. Such individuals may be multi-talented and adaptable to various situations.
Intensity: Depending on the nature of the planets involved, there can be a heightened intensity and focus in the expression of the individual's characteristics. This can manifest as passion, ambition, or even obsession in certain areas of life.
Challenges: On the flip side, an overcrowded 1st house can sometimes indicate challenges or conflicts in integrating the energies represented by the planets. This could lead to internal tensions, identity crises, or difficulties in asserting oneself effectively.
Impact on Relationships: The strong emphasis on the 1st house may influence how the individual interacts with others and forms relationships. They may prioritize their own needs and desires, which can affect their interpersonal dynamics.
Ultimately, the interpretation of multiple planets in the first house depends on a holistic analysis of the entire birth chart. It is essential to consider the position of these planets in relation to the houses they rule, their aspects to other planets, and the overall balance and harmony within the chart. The Universe conspires to bring both of you together.
I always had questions about romantic love and about marriage. I used to think that we just don't have one Soulmate but many soulmates. It was impossible for me to wrap my mind up about the One Soulmate theory because of a few reasons: our fate changes; our life changes as we make certain decisions; we might have parallel universes; how can there be just one Soulmate in such a huge world and even if so then how are we able to find them because if one Soulmate theory was true then why aren't all people happy after they get married, instead they sometimes face more difficulty after they are married and can be toxic towards each other.
These are the reasons why I never believed in a romantic soulmate. I have met people who are my soulmate but in a platonic way but other than that it is difficult for me to wrap my mind of having a specific soulmate. One of the reasons is also that we are born on this Earth all alone and will be departing all alone as well, there are no pairs only individuals.
Now about my today's realisation -> if we keep parallel universe aside then I do think there is only one Soulmate for us in specific lifetimes but they are not actually our genuine Soulmate but we do share a soul contract with each other for various reasons due to Karmas; disputes of our past lives that needs to be resolved; previous life related lessons that needs to be learnt as well as experiences that needs to be felt, etc.
After realizing this, I think I finally now believe that we do have one specific Soulmate for each life to teach us various lessons and to give us different experiences that are needed to be lived through in the said life. They will meet us because of our soul or Karmic contract.
I finally learnt that love and marriage are not something magical but things through which we get to learn and experience different things. This theory explains a lot of things, it makes many of my questions answered.
I do think that there are special kind of connection contracts but only a few people are able to experience this due to their good Karma I guess or/and maybe their past life connection and the belongingness for each other. Anyways I personally haven't seen such a couple but listening to some stories I do think these kind of couples do exists but are rare.
So while ending this topic I just want to say that whoever is my soulmate for this life I hope you are doing well and taking care of yourself and your loved ones. I hope you are a good person and I strive to become the best version of myself before I meet you but not for you, for me so that I don't have much bad Karma and continue the same in my next life.

If you have reached here then thank you for reading 🩷
P.S. I know this post might be a bit pessimistic, I do think that true love does exist but it is kind of rare. In this post I have just analysed the reasons as to why most of the people don't have true love.

Why is Rahu in the 8th house bad?
In Vedic astrology, the placement of Rahu in the 8th house is often considered challenging due to the nature of both Rahu and the 8th house. Here are some reasons why this placement is often seen as difficult:
Transformation and Crisis: The 8th house represents transformation, sudden changes, and crises in one's life. Rahu's presence here can intensify these experiences, leading to unexpected and profound transformations that may be difficult to navigate.
Obsessions and Taboos: Rahu is associated with obsession, desires, and unconventional pursuits. In the 8th house, these tendencies may manifest in intense desires for power, control, or involvement in taboo subjects, leading to potential complications and challenges in dealing with such matters.
Secrets and Hidden Motives: The 8th house is also linked to secrets, hidden motives, and the occult. Rahu's influence here can indicate a preoccupation with secrecy, manipulation, or involvement in clandestine activities, which may lead to complications or betrayals in personal and professional relationships.
Health Challenges: The 8th house is also connected to health issues, particularly those related to chronic or hidden conditions. Rahu's influence may contribute to health concerns that are difficult to diagnose or treat, requiring careful attention and management.
It is important to note that while Rahu in the eighth house can create challenges, it also provides opportunities for growth, change and spiritual growth. How these energies manifest depends on various factors, including the individual's overall chart, planetary aspects, and dasha (time period). Exploring the Dynamics of Love Marriage vs Arranged Marriage.
Love Marriage vs Arranged Marriage: What’s the Difference?
When it comes to tying the knot, there are two main ways people go about it: love marriage vs arranged marriage. Each has its own unique dynamics and brings different experiences to the table. Let’s see that what sets them apart.
Tumblr media
Love Marriage: Following the Heart’s Desire
In a love marriage, two people decide to get married because they have fallen in love with each other. This usually happens after they have spent time getting to know each other, often through dating or being friends. The decision to marry is based on mutual feelings of love, attraction, and compatibility.
In a love marriage, individuals have the freedom to choose their partners based on their own preferences, likes, and dislikes. They may consider factors such as personality, interests, values, and goals when deciding if they want to spend their lives together.
One of the key aspects of a love marriage is that the couple typically has a strong emotional connection and understanding of each other before getting married. This can help create a foundation of trust and companionship that is important for a successful marriage.
Arranged Marriage: Embracing Tradition and Family Input
On the other hand, an arranged marriage is when the families of the bride and groom play a significant role in choosing their partners. In some cases, the couple may not even meet each other until the wedding day or shortly before. Instead, their families take on the responsibility of finding a suitable match based on factors such as social status, financial stability, cultural background, and family values.
Arranged marriages are often seen as a way to strengthen family ties and ensure compatibility between the spouses. Families may consider factors beyond just the couple’s individual preferences, such as how well they will fit into each other’s families and communities.
While the idea of an arranged marriage may seem outdated to some, many couples in arranged marriages find love and happiness with their partners. Over time, they may develop a deep emotional bond and understanding, similar to that in a love marriage.
Exploring the Dynamics
Both love marriage and arranged marriage have their own advantages and challenges. In a love marriage, people have the opportunity to pick their accomplices in view of individual inclinations, prompting areas of strength for an association all along. However, they may face challenges such as societal pressure or familial disapproval if their choice goes against traditional norms.
In contrast, arranged marriages offer the support and guidance of families in finding a suitable partner, which can lead to long-lasting relationships built on mutual respect and understanding. However, couples in arranged marriages may need time to develop romantic feelings for each other and may face initial challenges in adjusting to married life.
Ultimately, whether a marriage is arranged or based on love, what matters most is the commitment, communication, and effort that both partners put into making the relationship work. Each couple's process is interesting, and what works for one may not work for another. Love marriage vs arranged marriage are simply different paths to the same destination: a lifelong partnership filled with love, respect, and companionship.
