Ok honestly. As difficult as it is to do, Darius, Hunter, Eber.

Kills me cuz I know objectively Hunter is the more compelling & better written char, and I utterly adore his journey & the way he foils practically everyone, but Darius is a sexy middle-aged villain-coded queer so he's my fav by virtue of being what I wish I could be hahah!!! Really I just adore older queer chars they tend to beat out teen chars for me, we need them so badly. But legit the second I saw Darius on screen I latched onto him as a villain fav, then he was slowly revealed to be one of the biggest heroes so I got my cake and ate it too with him, it was such a great twist. Eber my beloved, he's so shaped, but he does have to go last if only cuz he's not nearly as fleshed out as the other two. Really tho i love all three of them so much. My little weird as fuck ex cult leaders family 💖

Sorry Claude, again he's the more compelling better written char (or at least his route is) but I have such a soft spot for Dimitri & the BL, they were my first playthrough and are hands down my fav group as a whole both design & personality wise. I actually actively dislike a few of the GD which is a shame cuz it was the best route imo, as with Edelgard while I do appreciate a good female villain/antihero I'm not too keen on how her route was written, plus a couple people in her route I don't like as much as others.

There are a looot of characters, and I definitely worry sometimes that it gets to be too much, but I think the IF is getting long enough for me to give enough-ish screentime to each character... though it takes me a while to cycle back to different side characters. I cant believe you remembered the cool ass girl in laser tag! :)

5. Yup, being a character driven IF, there will be a lot of romance (or friendship) beats / moments in the IF (which is already true now). Whether it's spoken aloud or not, I like little moments where I can have my muse compare a character to someone else they know, or see each other in a different way. Favorite TOA-related memory: KKE Team Guard coming together for that crazy rapid-fire chat that Ree sprung on us for the finale is definitely a strong one! So, I finally got around to playing the update. Here my thoughts

But before that quick fun facts, this update was great for me since I 💯 percent forgot my og mc so I got to play around with the one I headcanon about. Her name is Megara Theban, she has a daughter named Deianira Calydon Theban. (If you ever watch Disney's Hercules or a Greek nerd. you know, you know bonus if you know what Deianira name translates to but for me definition I took nice version than what really means)

One: I really like how it goes so far, and I'm just very excited to see the birthday party (totally not because I like to see the world burn and invite all my Ros. Which is totally not awkward since Meg decided to have one night stand with best boi)

Two: the Hookups are very interesting I'm more intrigued on how Harlem will play out and this isn't me just saying it because we happen to share username (pss: I do love them tho lol only what few interactions and I'm yes your my new fav haha)

Three: Brenda... Yeah I both hate and like here. On one hand I understand why she would ship /projecting since she knows and in certain cases seem them dating and they were really good together, the other she recently divorce and seeing mc have more options while not really looking for them could make anyone jealous. HOWEVER if you're playing a route and don't want ex to be ro (in other words you are going for a different route but have ex as an ex) she can be quite annoying especially when she playing matchmaker when unwanted. (Ex my meg is going for slowburn with ex so in beginning she more cold to him. But also cold to Brenda since one she involved herself in something that has nothing to due with her and two feels little bit push into unwanted relationship since she keeps bring it up and hope for them together.) Tldr: I can see if she has some haters but I see the nuance

Four: I'm very interested on how far the neighbor war will go especially now it's involves mc's work (aka the Barlow project) and what happened if find one of the homeless people did it (meaning what they arrest someone who involved aka pay to do it but they don't find the mastermind)

Totally agree about the hookups VS ROs because I'm starting to feel like some of them are very interesting.. for example Officer Costa in one of the dialogue, MC can find out that they are a Widower/Widow. Imagine the love story I could write with that prompt alone. The whole way of meeting MC during a call for vandalism, then hooking up with MC and thinking well maybe it was just that... just a one night stand and Costa finding themselves falling in love with MC like... still my poor heart.💕💕💕💕

I like the Brenda take because I feel like it makes Brenda more of a 3 dimensional character. Often we have friends like that who would ship us with someone regardless of how we feel about said love interest and having MC being able to feel some type of frustration with Brenda will be a good thing.

The most feedback I get about Brenda is that... why is she always telling Barlow everything about my MC like... Girl!!! Stop telling Barlow my business!!! 🤣

But yeah... the story is getting at the point where ROs and hookups will start to be aware of each other... because Lemon is a small town!!!! and, also the plot with the neighbor will thicken... so excited to write the next few chapters. 💕

Help! I have a new fave!!! PLUST's MIKOTO AMAMITSU

Mik's story was so good. Freakin hilarious and cute but also involved sentimental themes and emphasized on not giving up your dreams and aspirations. And how much it's comforting to work on your goals together with your partner/friends.

I love this title. It looks very promising so far. After reading Mikoto, I'd recommend it and the guy to everyone who has a similar taste. I'll list some of my forever favs (from Love 365) below so you'll know what I'm into.

MPD CTY, ASA, FILA, RMD, TLH... and PLUST (safe to add now. I think) So you can predict the themes I like now ;)

It took me 3hrs 47 min to binge Mikoto's story which I managed to do during different hours of the day. Spent about 240 hearts to unlock every heart choice and the SHE plus bonus track.

The art and the OST are gorgeous. I wish there's a steam release where I can buy the whole thing in one package with the OST. The OST is that good. It's so worth the effort (in reading a long story with a slow burn plot.)

(Oh this is a slow burn plot, mind you. And I love the stuff lol) The MC is fair enough. At times I cringed a bit, wondered why she wosn't protest when the guys casually get touchy with her. (Oh she does at times but she could grow more strong).

The fan service thing sounded unrealistic but it was still hilarious and cute. I was laughing falling in love not just with Mikoto but all the guys as a whole. They are all amazing. I think I'm gonna read every route. tho at present I have my eyes set on Mik, Wataru alone.

Guys like Claude aren't my type but I'm curious about him. I think Kotoha is a sweet guy, a tsundere. And Ryogo. Well I love childhood friend trouples so I'm gonna read his MS. He was super sweet in Mik story but the guy who stole the show (when it comes to side characters) was: Zeus.

The ThrOne guys. At first I didn't understand MC's obsession, specifically as they described the group is cold to its fans, but then I understood. That's not the scenario. Zeus has me very fascinated. I'll say I like him already. And his attachment to MC means we MAY get to see sparks flying between him and Mik. (I'd love to see Mik getting jealous haha)

Now I ramble about Mik here: Mikoto is a charmer but he's not overbearing or commanding. I only saw a trace of the pushy guys I played and liked in him. Just a trace. He apologizes when he's wrong. He thanks the MC. He encourages her!?

I expected Mikoto to be like Guy or more like Ikesen Nobunaga (both my faves) but he isn't.

Mik is so refreshing, so chill. Just like TLH Suzu was, captivating, with just one main story! He's blunt but not condescending. He's cheeky but with a sweet awkward side to him. He tries to shoulder his burden alone. The slow reveal of his true personality was a treat. I was rooting for him and MC! There were so many moments: them walking the ramp, rehearsing lines... Watching the show a pop star acted in, with the guy, and sharing a highfive? Haha. That's freakin cute. I love Mik and his Ducky.

So by the End of the SHE I'm super content and looking forward to MC and Mik's budding romance to blossom more. Which I expect to happen in MS 2. And anticipating more of the guys while hoping this title wouldn't take forever to get updated. (Well I understand making games isnt easy. I'm willing to wait tbh. But I see some title updates getting rolled out quickly, so)

Ugh! I went into rant mode there. Will post more content tomorrow. (Not much tho and not many spoilers. Don't wanna hit the game's earnings coz... well that's what I do. Be moderate. thoughts under the cut bc it became a bit long than i thought it would be

one thing id like to say first is that wow! playing through the routes is going much quicker ever since ive finished the common route lmao felt like i was playing it for a week, while each route is taking me a day or two (thanks to binge playing now). didnt mind though tbh, i loved the common route. this game has become one where i can smile stupidly at my screen while looking at my fav 2d characters <3

so onto my thoughts about van helsing’s route, yay! i loved the angst and the drama that was going on in it. it was great (and extremely heavy and dark) to hear about van’s past AND LITERALLY how aleister was just. controlling him. i had my suspicious of him after seeing some of the bad endings, and how cardia or someone else would be like, “why are you doing this/why are you here…?” etc. but never expected him to be conditioning van wtf. also was interesting to see more abt finis, im wondering more on what his secret really is!

a little note: ive always been a fan of the more “colder” charas in otome games. cue my username, though now that im thinking abt it, my favs arent always like that lmao. okay ignore this ramble

but that aside, wow. the romance had me mad. not that pressed lmao but there are times where i wanted to shake my screen and yell at van for always pushing away cardia and being so mean TT i think i get it tho, man is completely afraid of losing another person he cares about. trauma! so i was finally so happy when he was like, okay fine i do love you cardia. but then he knocked her out oml. so glad that cardia came in and honestly i want to date cardia i have a fat crush on her. she cared so much about van and was willing to sacrifice herself (which is kinda a reoccurring thing, i noticed. makes me kinda sad bc i want her to value herself more too <3 which makes me happy when she says she and her LI will survive together no matter what. cardia is a fighter and she wont go down!!! love to see how she realizes that she’s capable of love, and that she isnt a monster <3 getting validated by others and starting to realize her emotions!) okay let me shut up now before i write a whole essay about cardia bc this is a van post ???

Welcome back for week three of our review of Antares Fairchild. This set was a hot one, certainly the steamiest one so far. Let's get started!

#1 - Favorite line in set

aliboo: Sometimes, you hit a point in your life where you realize the only explanation for your choices is "it seemed like a good idea at the time." - Relatable, MC.

aqua: "I was planning on seducing you, actually." - I don't think anyone was expecting *that*!

violet: "If you value your life, be somewhere else."

#2 - Favorite scene/moment

aliboo: Let Antares seduce you (first heart scene in the set). How very dare he do THAT! Very Hot scene piling on the sexual tension, and was just.. unexpected. But with his ego, it wasn't out of place either!

aqua: MC telling Antares she was in his room to seduce him, his reaction and everything after - so hot! He doesn't even touch her - I can't wait to see the sparks fly when he finally does touch her.

violet: When she ran back into the building to see if he was ok. Putting all their banter and one-up manship aside, her immediate instinct was to check on him. I loved that as it speaks to so much of what is going on underneath the surface.

#3 - Did you buy hearts? Which scene(s)? Worth it?

aliboo: I got all of them. As always, they were all worth it. I have to say the first heart scene was my fav for obvious reasons, which is that no one is immune to Antares' seduction.

aqua: Of course I bought all of them! The cg is paywalled behind the last heart scene, so if you collect the cgs, that's the one to get. They're all really great though. *whispers* The first one tho....

violet: I got all of them and they were truly worth it, but the first one is a masterclass in how to make a scene sexy without the characters even touching.

#4 - Standout character

aliboo: Antares. Alongside 'the only scene I've talked about so far' ("If I set out to seduce you, Ms. Revati... you would be mine." - swoons), my other fav moments were basically anytime he behaved like a little shit, including (1) His antics when they reach Omia - technically not going back on his word, clever. (2) His annoyance and wounded pride at getting caught up in the blast and then whiplash as he waltzes off with Psyri. (3) "If you value your life, be somewhere else." to the spaceport worker. Brutal.

aqua: Antares, always Antares. He's such a dominant presence throughout these sets - he doesn't even need to touch MC to get certain reactions out of her. And he was so brutal this week for not just restraining MC and keeping her on his ship for "three galactic standard hours", but also later when he ran off with Psyri, leaving MC in the dust. I can just see that cape flapping in the wind during all these antics.

violet: Antares for me. When he listens to what MC has to say about her family and why she does the job she does, the respect he showed her in that moment, small as it may have been. I love seeing the cracks in his "Captain Fairchild" persona. Cracks created by the MC, however unwittingly.

#5 - Thoughts on the CG?

aliboo: I love it! I'm still pissed that I thought it was going to be something else though haha.

aqua: I didn't know what to think when I saw the preview, but was quite pleased with the cg. My only issue is - why only one eye? Why???

violet: It was a different angle of the backed up against the wall position we have seen in other CGs and I liked it. It really made you feel his presence.

#7 - Secondary character shining moment.

aliboo: MC - "I was planning on seducing you, actually" - amazing! And her absolute boldness throughout (especially if you play the heart scenes!)

aqua: Let's be real - this is not a route filled with tons of secondary characters. It is very Antares x MC heavy. That said, my vote goes for Psyri for continuing to be a complete mystery to everyone. And for creating that special failsafe. it did lead to the great scene later between our two leads, but did ya have to drop an entire building on Antares?

violet: Keda. She's proven time and again what a good friend she is to MC. And holy hell is she tal.

#8 - Thought on the villain.

aliboo: The Union will be the common enemy and we haven't seen too much of them YET. It was no surprise that they cancelled MCs contract though.

aqua: Becoming clear that the Union will be the villain. Really did not like that officer ending MC's contract like that. Tho now she has no reason not to side with Antares.

violet: The UNION. I happen to agree with a certain grumpy pilot when he says the Union sucks.

#9 - Most OMG scene?

aliboo: Just one? I'll choose the moment they reach Omia and Antares follows his agreement with MC to the letter, meaning that as soon as they were no longer working together, he could do what he wanted - ie. detain her. It was another moment I hadn't predicted, but the OMG scenes after that were less of a shock as I was starting to expect his Little Shit behaviours.

aqua: When Psyri activated her failsafe, and dropped an entire building on Antares. His poor cape didn't quite survive that moment. Rip billowing cape.

violet: When MC says "I was trying to seduce you." I think we all went...wait, WHAT? Girl of all the things you could have said. Although it did lead into that heart scene so I'm not mad at all.

#10 - Any predictions for next week?

aliboo: Urgh, I'm terrible at this! Antares to the rescue! He will rescue MC from her current pickle and find out that she is in much debt, has no contract and no credits to send to her parents. And then he will Hire her.. to be his prisoner / assistant / whatever his latest kink is.

aqua: Whatever his latest kink is? 😂 Hmm...I'm kinda terrible at this too, so I'm sure this is all wrong. The Union figured out MC was still tracking Psyri and have come directly for her. So it's their gunshots aiming at MC. Of course, it would be really amazing if it was the Starship Promise crew popping up - or even just Orion. Speaking of Orion....no direct mention of him this season so far.

violet: She and Antares will join forced against the Union and work together to find the downed ship. And I HOPE there will be more banter. And more shirtless Antares. And more mini CGs of other Antares body parts cause Voltage is feeling generous towards us right now.

Love Island – The Game. Let’s talk about.

I played through season 2 in like 1.5 weeks and I am in love with it! I love it so much that I started reading headcanons and we all know that’s the gateway drug for a new hyperfixation 😇✨

I’ll talk about my whole experience I’ve had so far with the game. Be glad that I highlighted keywords, so you can skim through the whole text.

It’ll be: my route – favs – hates – season 1 – season 3

To summarize my route: I tried to answer the question as if I were on the show, so nearly always outgoing but also peaceful option, depending on the character I’m currently interacting.

I coupled up with Gary first because really none of the OGs sparked my interest. Lurik didn’t interest me either (even tho I’m Asian), somehow had a thing with Bobby, got picked by Henrik during the disaster couple, then picked Carl. I swore to myself a long time ago in RL that I will never ever do bits with a nerd/geek again bc they have no emotional intelligence, but Carl is just so dreamy 🥺💕

But the thought of the CA guys just flirting with us to get into the villa was getting so much into my head that I did bring Carl to the Main Villa but exclusively flirted with Bobby after that. And yeah, I shared the money and married him haha. No regrets tho, I learned to love him!

What I hate about post-CA time is that there are no consequences after switching from the switching? Like I flirted so much with Carl in CA, but told Hope that I want to couple up with Bobby and then it was like nothing ever happened between MC and Carl.

Returning!Hannah jumped into Carl’s arms, saying that they can finally show the gang that they’re together like excuse me?! He was mine first 😠

Who are my favorites?

I think I’m so basic but Carl and Bobby for coupling up. Kassam, that bitch… he caught my attention and I am dying to unlock his route. I would completely ignore him in real life but as pixels 👀

As friends Chelsea and Priya. But seriously, I like every character! I don’t hate Hope or Lottie. They both have their flaws and weaknesses but especially Lottie showed growth and maturity. I can write a whole new post about this. Even Rocco… uff, he has a similar story like me with dropping out of university and isolating yourself. But he asked for a kiss right before leaving the villa? “What about her [Marisol]?” Ok, he’s on both lists 🤢

Btw I fucking CRIED when they showed the recap bc I didn’t expect that at all. Also I teared up when we had to sent home a couple later in the game. Hannah no but Rocco yes. I didn’t know we would have an after party. I just thought we would never see them again 😂

Whom do I simply dislike or even hate?

In that order!

Henrik – Just not my vibe, I’m more like Lucas’ type. No sweaty bouldering adventure for the first date, please.

Lucas – (As of December 16, not anymore on this list. I love him and he’s hot goddammit.) I’ve read that he’s not a snob like most people think, but I haven’t played his route yet. I actually used him to switch for CA haha. Don’t like his angry face, it’s very punchable whoops. Don’t like his jealous side, not a good look on your face boo

Felix – I was like “oh ok, body diversity, dad bod, I see you.” But he is so. desperate and annoying! 21? More like 16.

Jakub – He looks like a tool and is one. I love how the game gives you an option to play dumb when you’re going with him to that date instead of correcting him!

Ibrahim – “Shy and cute, okay okay, I can break through that.” Nope! So boring! No spine! Next!!

Elisa – Gossip sneezer and fake. Tries to play the victim and shift the blame on others. Too high maintenance, even as friends, no.

Graham – Show some respect even if you don’t fancy us, holy shit! Don’t treat the friends of your crush like shit wtf. Bad first impression and annoying boat references. And no, Gary is not the same 😤

Returning!Hannah – She didn’t need that “glow up”. Is that really her like her inner self? And the way she played with Lottie’s feelings even tho Hannah wasn’t really affected by Lottie’s and Gary’s kiss bc they already broke up and she was about to leave yk? Don’t like her, nope. Also, don’t fucking frown at me just because I hate spiders?!

Jo – I don’t like her haircut and her sticking out her tongue sprite. And that she’s playing the victim even tho she clearly lied?! Fuck your nachos!

Shannon – That face of her when she’s pushing her under lip forward and looks clueless… have you seen a more punchable face than that? I hate how “chill” she is. It’s normally a good attitude but wtf, talk to your man! You clearly don’t get any answers from Jo, so get some from the other party that was involved 🙄

I have two phones, so I already played through season 1. I hated Tim at first but he grew on me… like a fungus. I love him now and I am so mad that we cannot couple up with him or Rohan!

I don’t feel any love towards the rest of the cast in comparison to the characters of season 2. I think it’s bc the season so short!

I don’t like the character design of season 3. They look too cartoonish. The only one who I had some interest was Camilo bc he looks the best and has the same struggles with caring for a family business like I do. But wtf is this scene?!

Bobby would never!

Also, it was literally a PG-13 game. I had no guilt being a bitch in that playthrough bc they always reacted like “wow, you do you, babe!”

I sped through that and the boat season for the gems haha.

Maybe it’s bc I’m currently going through a break up but the boat season holy shit I had such a weird stomach feeling the whole time I played it. It felt too real and I was so sure he would break up (so what I flirted with Harry for attention, stfu Miki). Not that I like him but I’m the one who should do the dumping! All in all, no good feeling.

Nicky… just shut up. I get it, you’re not interested in us. I loved the option to shut him up about his sister. You’re lucky that you’re attractive.

Not keen on season 4 bc again character design and I’m heterosexual haha. That Asian dude however… if he were buff with cool tattoos, then maybe. But have you spotted his ice cream tattoo under his left breast already?

just want to check, who are the characters you don't take requests for? just wondering in case i want to send a request and send in people you don't (at first i assumed you only wrote for guys and enby characters but then i saw you had some stuff for amara, ruelle and piama so i want to double check).

first of all thanks for asking! i do write for women as well haha im a flaring bisexual in this chilis, it just so happens to be that a lot of my favourite characters are men. the characters i absolutely will never write for would be the castaway, gangsters in love, to love and protect, speakeasy tonight and tales of the wild, bc all except speakeasy are extremely cursed imo but yall arent ready for that convo esp since i threw gil in there. oop.

honestly, itd probably be easier to tell you who i Do write for considering my motivation to even play lovestruck let alone write for it rn are like, at complete minimum, but i will give a fair warning that there is like a 50% i will never end up writing your request bc inspiration is finnicky like that and i try and dedicate my energy to either writing my game or writing stuff for me rather than for others. i do still appreciate every request nonetheless, because the fact that someone likes my writing enough to ask for more means a lot to me, so thank you, kind anon!

OH AND THE EVER AFTER ACADEMY CREW i adore them just not darla i like her character but shes so ugly n reminds me of my old high school bullies. not lavinia either bc i havent read her. mayyyybe i could write for nysa and roman as well. i never finished hydra's route but he could be fun too.

push your way through the cracks is the first edgar/mc i’ve written here and while i’ve mentioned there that edgar is my fav out of the cast, i fear that i’ll probably take me a very long time to write another one bc... he’s my favorite. i noticed i have the tendency not to write much (or have finished works) about ships i really, really like despite... you know, liking them. hopefully not - shipping aside, i like exploring the characterizations of enigmatic types like edgar.

about the fic, i pretty much like it save for the second part bc i think i could’ve done something more with it - not exactly change the setting, but expounded a little further on it. i don’t know, it feels lacking somehow in comparison to the first two.

there are a lot of flower-related descriptions tossed here and there, but i think i succeeded in not being so purple prose-y? hopefully! this was pretty descriptive, i guess.

with this edgar fic present, that means i have 2 more red army doods to write about, namely zero & jonah. i was really aiming to make edgar the last one tho haha.

weave me into your web is canon based, specifically pt. 24 of sirius’ route where they say ‘goodbye’. note those quotation marks.

i think i wrote this after a discussion i had with a friend about sirius & his route - she read some posts commenting on the route and she wanted a nearby opinion. we got into an agreement: while we do find sirius to be indeed husbando material, his route would’ve risked nothing if they gave him more / emphasized his flaws. his flaws, not mc’s, gosh. 

no, seriously. in my opinion, mc fretting so much about being immature sort of blinds her from the little things that prove sirius is not so composed as he appears to be. it gets even worse when she realizes she’s fallen in love with him, and while i enjoy the black army going kira-kira rabu support team + seth being hopeless suitor, i’m going 50/50 on mc. she’s written to be indeed very single-minded come the war phase and while that’s not necessarily bad since she gets to broaden her perspective as she always does, i think i would’ve appreciated it if she came to most of the realizations on her own by reflecting on them based on how the events around her are progressing; and not simply by sirius / someone else pointing it out for her. no wonder she’d think she’s immature in comparison - it also irks me a bit that she keeps on fretting about her feelings for sirius. this is what i’d be sad to see again in other routes: the romance overthrowing the potential / present character development. 

side note: i understand that in relationships with a notable age gap, maturity / perceived maturity can be a problem - i just wished that the route downplayed on this bc honestly, there are other things more interesting to explore than that angle, like, say; isn’t she from another culture or world or something????????? will those differences affect our potential relationship??????????????

on sirius himself, i recall reading on reddit that one person didn’t pick up ikerev for the reason that the cast is too perfect. that’s a fair opinion. i think i can relate this to sirius himself: while throughout the route you do see some flaws in him, he’s still overall the dude you’d write home about + that dude you’d dream introducing to your parents complete with that suave voice (thank u junichi suwabe). no, i’m not saying that he has to have some unlikable or quirky trait / wangsty backstory, it’s just that in my opinion he’s desirable but not exactly relatable. let him struggle, let me see him rise up from it. show me his humanity. there’s the scene with him and lancelot, but i want more. tho him being afraid of being alone is what i find extremely relatable and endearing about him, very nice. otherwise... well, maybe i have to reread the route again or smth.

anyway. the fic emphasizes actually on his character trait of self-control / restraint. did u know too much is bad for u??? it can reflect that since you hold yourself back too much, it could mean that you’re masking your true feelings, for example. there are various psychological studies on that. *stares at sirius* hMMM.

i took care to be quite descriptive on that kiss scene and at the same time, not to be so emotional on it bc it’s still sirius lol - i believe he’s not one to lose himself completely to his emotions, but he’s not that afraid to succumb to some of it - especially if he actually wants to feel them.

... this turned out to be a rant portion rather than a fic commentary now didn’t it

aug 24 // ikerev (i’m seeing a pattern here)

a beginner’s guide to waltz was seriously just some formatting experiment, then it blew up to something larger. i actually like it tho, it’s cute.

writing oliver is actually fun, not bc of the reason that i can be rude. he is rude, but he’s not like that for just the sake of being so. as seen with blanc, it’s probably a result of habit. why exactly he chose to be verbally aggressive is something i’d like to know in his route.

i have no idea how the relationship shift is portrayed either, but i do hope it’s a mortifying revelation on mc’s part lol. like, lookie here, that little kid with his wee shorts and pretty hat that you hang out with all the time and don’t care about acting so ladylike around was that hot hunk who saved you before! oliver’s so amused and never letting her live it down.

for the line ‘i’m not interested in asking you about a decision you’ve made since you arrived here’: the decision mentioned is mc’s promise not to fall in love & to go home. i think oliver would be one of those routes where he falls for her but wants her to go home anyway, but the difference in his route is that he’s very adamant to make her leave. maybe thinking along the lines of ‘i don’t want you to end up like me’ or something. idk. idk what i’m trying to type at this point, lol.

just some random thought, but i do hope ikerev artist tcg someday draws mc in the game outfits / hairstyles bc she’s actually rly pretty. the description of mc’s outfits / fashion of part 4 of the fic was out of me just staring at the my closet portion of the game. don’t ask - i like the hc of oliver & mc having elegant wardrobes / fashion sense, and since i’m too lazy to check up 19th century london fashion trends...

haunted by something still alive was the result of me thinking about guns. don’t ask me either. maybe it’s also a result of me wanting to write something else that isn’t from my horrendous drafts folder lol.

these were actually nice drabble practices, and the first one i clearly had i mind was shiraishi’s. i honestly think it would be fitting, probably around the start of the route where they haven’t got to know each other so well.

from there on i tried to do the drabbles in the route order i did when i played the game, which was mineo - sasazuka - okazaki - shiraishi - yanagi. but tbh when i was writing it became shiraishi - mineo - yanagi - sasazuka - yanagi again - okazaki, lol. i rewrote yanagi’s and okazaki’s three times.

subtitles have their respective mathematical operations on it - i find it kind of cool and funny that those are their symbols (amnesia had the card suits), but when you do think of it properly, it does relate to their characters.

... never forget that hoshino ichika is canonically good with guns.

in absence of glass slippers as stated was a part of one of my first ikerev drafts. still a draft until now, but the portion i posted is one of the ‘finished’ sections of the fic.

i don’t headcanon mc as a respectable lady from a equally respectable house or her being a well-off girl, but i like the concept of her being a self-taught lady of society aka she learned stuff like manners, dancing, and etc. out of curiosity or for more practical reasons like fitting in. 19th century london is still the victorian era, so social class and propriety was still a thing.

her taking off her shoes to practice dancing with ray is a sort of a challenge, actually... his measure of improvement will be based on the times that he steps on her feet / how many blisters her feet would gain by the end of the session, lolol - that’s why she says that stepping on a rock is the least of her problems. pretty hardcore, isn’t she?

thus the title actually - glass slippers (mary janes actually) are pretty delicate, but don’t you think a lady’s foot is much more delicate?

with ray’s fic up, i’ve officially written a piece for all of the black army men! nice.

neither heaven or hell is holy shit, an mc-centered fic! hella rad - i was half thinking to classify it as a drabble, but since i decided that drabbles are pieces that i may get back on, i kept it as a full fic instead since i’m happy with how it turned out.

all of my screamings are in the tags, so i don’t have much to add besides that lol. however, the writing here is pretty different, and that’s because i was trying to do a three sentence fic challenge kind of thing. buuuuut it became three paragraphs with three lengthy sentences instead lol.

also, there’s some stuff highlighting mc’s london-er/english-ness. washing powder is the british term for laundry soap. 19th century roofs for royals were usually panels, and wooden beams for commoners. different as chalk and cheese is a british expression. i’m certainly not british but i just like emphasizing the fact that mc is of another culture/world, thus there should be differences in how she perceives things / her mannerisms & actions / her way of speech. i’ve been conscious of that in all of my fics involving her.

actually, i do make it a point to watch her way of speaking. i really like the polite way of speaking of 19th century britain (and also of today), so i try to integrate that despite the fact that i’m not british myself lol. it’s hard to fully convey it, but i try with hoping that it doesn’t seem too off. i should probably look for more references to practice it.

this was a very spontaneous piece with actually minor editing involved, and i’m pretty proud of how it turned out.

having finished all of friendsim, here are my final thoughts on the project:

skylla was the best! <3 i loved her as soon as her troll call came out and i loved her when her friendsim came out. i picked a winner. i love you. <3 <3

i still dont care about clowns. chahut and marvus are exceptions.

stelsa and tyzias have a wonderful and lovely relationship that felt real with conflicts.

god i hate zebede so much like i know its all “haha beekeeper am i right guys” but like,,,,,,, beekeeper...........................

fav routes: SKYLLA!!!! KONYYL!!! Daraya!! Chixie!! Mallek!! wanshi! tagora! tyzias! bronya! chahut! yes, in that order

worst routes: marsti, diemen, zebede, fozzer, ardata, cirava, charun, zebruh, vikare... quite a few imo but i hope that doesn’t discourage people from liking them or trying their routes. 

route i was most surprised by: mallek for sure. NO ONE expected that hunk. he was such a blast!! chixie too had such an unexpectedly empowering route. it turned me around on a character i barely worth noting on design alone. chixie, you own it girl!!! oh, and Lanque too but no one saw that coming. it was a cool route though.

route i was most disappointed by: zebede marsti. she’s so pretty and her route just had Nothing going on. i think we stared at a wall for 20 minutes. i mean you do you i guess....

wanted to make a special bullet point for this one; tyzias and tagora have okay routes but have had AMAZING fandom reception and content. i love what the fans have done with their characters and the depths they added to them. on their own they were ok but talking with people about them and joking about them and just having Fun with them made them absolutely memorable to me and i think for everyone else too

oh my god lanque discourse never ends huh

funnily enough, the hussie routes were some of the worst ones. it was interesting seeing other people’s takes on the hiveswap story. 

all in all though, friendsim stories never truly hooked me. what kept me invested was the fandom content from these trolls rather than the canon material itself. it always felt kinda... low budget and too long at sections. too much to say about things that didnt matter. too many witty internal monologuing that ended up dragging most of the time. i still deeply appreciate the work the friendsim team put in though. im glad they had fun more than anything.

james roach im so sos so sososo sorry that people were always weird to you. you made some bops and bangars tho.

favorite themes were chahut’s, skylla’s, and the first half of lanque’s. (mostly chahut’s. ive had that theme on 24 hour loops sometimes.)

the background were gooooorgeous. ESPECIALLY in volume 18. completely stunned. so much detail. homestuck artists are a blessing

it was fun seeing the artists grow more and more each volume. you go from having diemen and elwurd’s..... interesting, for lack of better phrasing, sprite styles to the high-quality anime sprite styles of lanque, marsti, tegiri, and mallek.

the highlight of friendsim for me was watching dia have fun with slapras and their obsession with daraya and the jades and then actUALLY SEEING SLAPRAS IN THE TITLE CARD like WOW that was a really heartwarming and fun fandom moment

50 Facts About Me (THANK YOU FOR 50 FOLLOWS!)

So... as promised in this post, I’m doing 50 facts about me because 50?! people followed me and my crazy masa obsessed cat mom ass. Thanks for enjoying my messed up commentary/rambles! Great, now I’m starting to sound like a youtuber that just wants money lmao sorry. Enough mushy stuff, and onto ze list!

Possible trigger warning: I’ll try to keep this as positive as I can, but there may be some things that can trigger some people (including but not limited to mental health, abuse/bullying, eating disorders etc.) If you are not comfortable with those topics, don’t read this.

1. My real name is Robin (middle name starts with Y and my last name starts with G)

2. I live in AZ

3. I LOVE FOOD. Part of the reason why I love masa and luka tbh... But seriously, food is great.

4. My fav foods are crab, ham, and burgers. See why I can’t become vegetarian 😂

5. I HATE onions with a passion.

6. My fav animals are owls, cats, hedgehogs, snakes, and whale sharks.

7. I have two dogs and used to have a cat (extremely long story short: My cat is in the “care” of an abusive psycho that isn’t allowed near me so I can’t see her ever again :/ but my sisters can) I still love Lucky (my cat) to death. She’s a sweet kitty (most of the time) and I miss her so much ❤️

8. My dogs are named Tucker and Bella. They’re both miniature schnauzers and they’re crazy. Tucker is a sweetheart, but he DOESNT. STOP. BARKING. He has a bit of a jealousy issue. When Bella gets attention, he starts barking and/or pushes her away from the human 😂 He hates when his people hug. He will jump on them and bark and growl. He also has stuffed animals that he LOVES. He uses them as pillows and carries them around. Bella is a lazy piggy ass. All she does is sleep and eat (like me haha). Half the time she’s too lazy to get up and go outside, and only responds when there’s food (once again, just like me 😅) They absolutely love each other though. Tucker licks her and grooms her and Bella follows him around and it’s just the cutest thing.

9. My lucky number is 9 because my birthday is 9/29 and my adoption day is 9/9 (see what I did there hehe get it? fact 9 is about my lucky number 9? no? okay...)

10. I’m adopted from an orphanage in (Eastern?) China

11. I have 2 sisters. They’re both in college but everyone who sees us on the street thinks I’m the oldest because I’m taller and curvier. One is 21 (but everyone thinks she’s like 16) and the other is 19 (people think she’s like 10 😂) No, none of us are blood related.

12. I’m 5’ nothing...

13. I’ve always been heavy for my height and age. I was and still am judged because of how much I eat and weigh. Because of this, I had an eating disorder in 4th grade and have always hated myself and envied my sisters for their tiny asian bodies.

14. I used to do tennis, dance, and swimming. I haven’t done any sports since then.

15. I can play 3 instruments, and tried many others. I played piano for 10 years, violin for 2, and French horn for 6 months.

16. I am EXTREMELY double jointed in my fingers

17. I have a fused tooth

18. My fingers bend back at the first knuckle way farther than most people’s

19. My hair is REALLY long and grows really fast. It goes to around my hip/tailbone area as of now.

22. My first fictional crush was Link. I was 8 at the time. We’re still going strong 7 years later.

26. I got in huge trouble when I was 10 coz I made a bunch of accounts that my mom didn’t approve of. I made an email, twitter, pottermore, quizilla (I miss that site smh), etc. And I did it MULTIPLE times. After she took the computer from me, she found out my DS had internet too. I didn’t have my DS for a long time. She would give it back after a while, and ID GO ONTO THE INTERNET AND YOUTUBE EVERY. DAMN. TIME. I got my DS back on Christmas in 7th grade coz I got games for it and she trusted me enough (and I had a phone by then so yay trust...?)

27. ...the twitter accounts still exist... I’ve looked back at them and I wanna kms holy crap it was bad. Lesson: 10 year olds shouldn’t be on twitter.

28. I love Harry Potter and The Inheritance Cycle (Eragon series). My fav HP book is Order of the Phoenix, and my fav IC book is Eldest.

29. My fav Zelda is a tie between Skyward Sword and Wind Waker

30. My fav Pokémon are Garchomp, Shaymin, and Breloom

31. We used to have so many games and systems. We had like 100-200 games, 2 gamecubes, 3 GBA’s, 4 DS’, 2 wii’s, and prob more 😂 We got only $150 from gamestop.

32. My fav youtubers are Chuggaaconroy, Rachel & Jun, and Glam & Gore.

33. I learned about sex through fanfiction (specifically, The Lemon of Zelda (pretty sure it’s been deleted tho coz I can’t find it))😂 I never got The Talk.

The thing is, we both liked each other for a LONG time and to my friend I was like “Yo ask who he likes” coz he was acting all sus and SHE TOLD HIM I TOLD HER TO ASK HIM and he’s like YA I LIKE ROBIN and I’m like WTF IS WRONG W YOU to my friend. Then he told me in class and it was really cute and I accepted. Then broke up w him OVER TEXT not even 24 hours later 😂 Dumb 7th grade ass

48. I have HORRIBLE eyesight but I don’t like wearing my glasses coz the arms give me a headache and I don’t like them period

Brendan from AS! He was super sweet and not as assholey as he was in R/S/E???? I really loved him a lot.. I love Lillie and Gladion in Moon as well!! But uhhhh.....
