so i started this drawing several months ago... but! its done now!!!

the inspo for this was the new monster high show and doll line, i wanted to make some character designs for some minecrafters if they were one of the mosterhigh monsters, then i looked at the new heath design and decided to... not do that anymore LMAO. I took reference from the new clawd and heath designs, and the old gina fire and heath designs. my guess is that hed be a fire spirit(or whatever tf heath is) and wear-cat hybrid

I made the shoes as a mix of heaths new shoes and gina fires heels #i did simpler folds with the lineart than i woukd normally... and ended up adding in those folds again when i rendered anyway (woops) #i made the cuffs more pronounced on his gloves #and gave him a high pony tail instead of the low pony i normally give him to add more flamy shapes in the hair #a lot of inspo from the old 2d heath design for that one

She would look SOOOOOOOO CUTE IN THIS!! Isabel would KILL the 'bi woman in a suit' look!!!!!!

It’s velvet so you KNOW it would be so soft. And the sequin stars are SO EXCITING and EXPRESSIVE and FUN, they're the perfect visual representation of her cheery energy and flashy tendencies. Plus they’re shiny, literally making her the star (hehe) of the room.

I think this would fit her personality PERFECTLY. It’s fun and dazzling and daring and slightly edgy - dressed down and super casual, but decadent. This, plus a fun crop top or bralette underneath like in pictures 2+3, and a pair of glossy pointed bright red boots would be THE look of the evening. I’d accessorize it with a high bun that has loose pieces in front to frame her face, and some thick gold jewelry to bring out the warm tones in her skin. This would be a great way to blend her cooler tomboyish style with her cuter feminine style that Zack uses more in promo illustrations.

Isabel isn’t usually blingy and is a very practical dresser. yule is the one night when she could indulge and really have fun with how she dresses, so i'm going all in on this hypothetical scenario

since I'm only watching the serials that I really want to I've skipped ahead to mark of the rani and I must ask. what in the everloving hell is peri wearing

#it's not 1810s. at least. it takes inspiration from it but it's really not 1810s #her bodice really seems more 1520s menswear. slash and puffed and the texture too #I just checked when this serial would be set and it's c. 1814. her bodice's main colour at least is accurate if a fashion plate is #to be believed. but like. her waistline is too low those sleeves are. again it's really 1520s slash and puff #it's not inaccurate in its shapes but it seems to be a hodgepodge of various styles and I don't think I'm seeing anything that looks like i #in full #hell I've just stumbled across a fashion plate that looks VERY similar to what peri wears and it's so different! #skirt shape is different (though if this were the 1820s it would be more accurate) sleeves are different for daywear no bonnet #her skirt's too short and those heels. not only would those heels be evil for running in the early 19th century favoured a flatter shoe

It's almost the New Year!

And here comes another one photo of those flower shoes from this 'green' set in low key. There are some more photos of them but I thought to myself that I will share them a little bit later and also some photos I will be sharing on my personal blog on which I slowly start working on. Social media are kinda fine but they do not allow me to influence the overall appearance, the way photos are displayed in galleries, etc.

Another thing is that because of the end of the year I probably should make some summary about last year. So here you got: I didn't fulfill any of my New Year's resolutions because I didn't do any. Why? If I didn't complete all of them, I would feel sorry about it, and if I did them all, I would think that they were not enough and I could have had more :)

And what will the new year be like? Probably there will be more amazing photos, more crazy ideas or maybe even some wonderful collaborations? Who knows... who knows... ;)

But enough about me, how about you? Are you happy about this year? Do you have any plans for the new year or maybe some resolutions?

we really do need to talk about how abysmal plus sized halloween costumes for female children are because by the time i was 10 i was literally wearing grown ass adult women’s costumes so everything i could get was shit like this

but i was literally like 11 😩

#the last halloween costume i wore was cleopatra that was HS i think. or actually 8th grade and then i rewore it in HS #one year i was ‘pocohontas’ but the costume i had to buy was literally like sexy indian princess and i wore my moms low heel brown boots #because i didnt have shoes that matched SKXJSJ GOD #i was literally 12 #and all night everyone was like ‘are you an indian princess?’ and i was like IM POCOHONTAS!

The downside of being small and thin is that most physical clothing stores don't have any formal clothing in my size. So I have to order them online, and hope that I have the right size. But the idea of having to return something if it doesn't fit me, order a new one in a different size, and hope that that's the right one, stresses me out a lot. It would be so much better if I could just try them on in a physical store before buying it.

I did get lucky today. The formal trousers that I ordered fit me fine. But I also need a pair of formal shoes. Same issue, small size that's never available in a physical store, so I can't try them on before buying 🙃😭.
