This is different from how Legend wanted his day to go. He was heading back to his spot at camp after he and some others got their mail. He had opened a letter from Ravio and started to read it. The letter was going well for the first few parts but when Legend reached a certain part his heart dropped.

Stopping dead in his tracks, he stared at that singular part for long enough that it caught the attention of others.

“You alright there, Vet?” Twilight asked him. He was too far away from where he stood. Twilight took notice of the purple sigil on the letter, “What, did Ravio send you another sappy letter?”

The others in the camp were starting to grow a tad concerned when the veteran still didn’t reply. Silence was odd to see on Legend, and this silence wasn’t just him not talking. No, this silence was from being too stunned to speak.

Eventually, Legend shook his head slowly, “No… In two days, it’ll be…” Legend didn’t finish his sentence. All he did was shove the letter in his face and groan in annoyance and exhaustion.

“It’ll be what?” Time spoke up. The camp had a bunch of nosey and curious heroes awaiting an answer. And most of these heroes were not patient.

Huffing, he crossed his arms and looked away from everyone, “In two days it’ll be me and Ravio’s three year anniversary.” After that, the chain turned into a teasing mess, telling him sappy things… you know the drill.

Like a Shooting Star

The chill of a spring night blows through them.

Scarves swaying, skirts rustling

Hands clasped together for heat and

A blanket pulled close around two shoulders 

side by side.

There’s a darkness all around

But a lightness in their hearts.

The quiet of the night

Battling against their soft voices.

Sitting down, leaning back

Looking up; there they are.

A million stars to stare at

A thousand to name,

And one night to enjoy them all.

“That star is called the lion in Labrynna”

Says one pointing out a constellation. 

“Really? It’s so different in Lorule.”

Says the other smiling.

Hundreds of names for stars

But only one for this: Love. 

Heads tilted towards each other

And smiles only for one another.

A small moment in the world

But an important moment in life.

Just laughter and fun

Romance and companionship.

Drew something a bit different this time ^^

I know I said not to think too deeply about it on my last Mask and Fi drawing [THIS] but... I thought too deeply about it, augh. Their relationship is so complicated but I wanted to show another side of it. Hopefully I managed it here.

Fi may not have understood the animosity Mask showed towards her back in the war, but that's not the case after everything. And even if they have a bond now (kind of) it's... messy. And it's not like Mask has the stones to open the door (nor does he think he should, what with what happened last time he did). So... yeah...

It's a bit bittersweet and there's still resentment there. Just. Complicated.

Legend came back sick after black-blooded monsters hunting under the rain, fortunally they soon arrived at his house

He's in mandatory bed until he's completly recovered, luckily Ravio is gonna keep him company to not let him alone while he gets his strengh back!
