Howdy, welcome to my blog!

My main is @yeenbeanz, this blog will be focused on Spiderverse stuff! I have created a Spiderverse AU version of my sona, Remi, as well with some twists :)

He/They, Non-binary, transmasc

Aliases consist of Spider-Yeen, Spider-Man, Spider-Remi, and Remi. They come from a more fantasy-esque universe, and can shapeshift between their normal form and false form when they want (mostly.) He belongs to Earth-051.

Abilities

Spider Physiology: enhanced strength, durability, speed, agility, healing, wall crawling, and night vision

Spider Sense: gives him a near complete awareness of his surroundings, works slightly different than other Spider People. Along with the default ability to instinctively dodge or counter attacks, it works with Remi's naturally-occuring electromagnetic field to detect other sources of electricity (organic or not), therefore giving him more awareness of other presences or threats that may otherwise be cloaked or hidden.

Bio-electrokinesis: This capability was not available to them until a few years after the spider bite, as it was already genetic, but once it developed, it quickly became their foundation of fighting. He has the ability to create, store, absorb, and manipulate his own electricity as well as other sources of electricity to incapacitate and attack enemies. He can utilize his bioelectricity in both close-quarters and long-range combat.

Shapeshifting: They possess the capability to shapeshift between their default anthropomorphic self, and a more humanoid version. He prefers his normal form, but doesn't mind changing to humanoid, which appears human-passing if you don't mind the horns, spikes, ears, and fangs. He is a bit weaker in his False form, but only barely. He cannot shift into this form willingly if he is in flight-or-fight response or actively distressed/on edge. They may get stuck in either form, or shift to the other involuntarily if under stress.

Methods of Fighting and Getting Around

Remi's overall style of moving and fighting would be a mix of movements involved in folklorico, Mexican boxing, and lucha libre, making them very light and fluid in their movements, especially when swinging, making it look like he is dancing in a way. But he can also pack a punch when fighting, being able to excel in close-quarters combat along with acting like a grappler and throwing their opponents/enemies around with ease to subdue them. Combine this with their bioelectricity, and they're a force to be reckoned with in a fight.

Fighting Style and Manuveurs: He tends to use his speed and power moves to overpower enemies, to compensate for his size. His agility aids him greatly in evading attacks and getting in hits, to include using an enemy's momentum against themselves, or Remi using their own momentum (ex. laying out a web to catapult off of into someone, like a ring rope) to bring an enemy to the ground. He is a very physical fighter, to include punches, claw swipes, and kicks; combining this with use of his webs for support/momentum, and manuveurs like leg locks, drop kicks, chokeslams, and the like, he is powerful as long as he can stay quicker than his opponent. He doesn't usually take to his bioelectricity right away, but if he is in a pinch or is starting to get overwhelmed, he will then utilize that power. He tends to save this for more the more powerful enemies, large groups of enemies, or long-range attacks when needed.

Weaknesses: Although he is smaller, agile, and can hit hard, he can be worn down over time if met with someone who can take his hits or not be subdued as easily from his grapples or bioelectricity. He can also be overpowered by those that are bigger and stronger than him, or can trap him in a hold where he cannot use his arms or legs. He also does not do well in the cold, as that affects his ability to utilize his bioelectricity.

Equipment / Gadgets

Spider Suit: A special suit used by Remi to protect their identity as Spider-Yeen.

Web Shooters: Remi is equipped with wrist-mounted web shooters that they made themselves. They were originally for use of synthetic webs, but after he gained his electrokinesis powers, he had to rework them to be able to handle his electrical charges. He can now utilize the shooters and webs themselves to channel his electricity through them! Resulting in electrically charged webs.

Spider-Bot: A little robot spider used to aid Remi in getting to smaller, tight places otherwise unable to be reached by them, or places too dangerous for them to go in safely. Spider-Bot has it's own set of capabilities, such as a mini web-shooter, electrical pulse shooter, and wall crawling.

Dimensional Travel Watch: A watch developed to make it capable for the user to travel to alternate dimensions at will without the danger of suffering a glitch effect. It gives the user's cells the ability to adapt to a different environment/universe. It also allows for inter-dimensional communication, between any user regardless of distance. This watch is capable of materializing and dematerializing at will, making it very practical for when it is not in use.

I had that idea for a while. There is already Pikachu Libre and so far I haven't seen a lot of Lucha Libre stuff with other Pokémon (Pikachu and Lucario doesn't count). So I decided to make my own Luchador suit for my sona in different color versions to. So here it is. My main inspirations for this suit were:

2. My Luchador Mask I received as a gift long time ago

RebelTaxi suggested doing “Mucha Lucha Sonas” and I thought it was a fun idea, so I tried to design one just for shits and giggles... but I ended up getting attached. Darn.

So, not exacty a sona but... A NEW OC I GUESS? Her name is Crisálida (spanish word for chrysalis) and her special move is wrapping herself in her comfy blanket to protect herself from danger and then falling asleep mid-battle. If she doesn’t have her blankie around she can also defend herself by moving her wings real fast, releasing sleeping powder to make her opponents (and her allies) fall asleep. Basically she’s just a very tired and lazy baby who wears PJs and slippers to school, what a legend.
