It's complicated? Rubix cubes were complicated. Helping Jack understand his math homework? Even more complicated. Leaving? Simple. "Right, because it was complicated," she echoed, eyes rolling so viciously that she feared damage to herself. There was no excuse in the world that would make up for him leaving in the manner that he had. She'd needed him and in the end, whatever else had been out in the world had been far more important for him. "Yeah, they did." She felt judged, felt misunderstood. He could leave, but her needing someone to pick up the pieces? That was the wrong move? "He stepped up when he saw me and Jack were struggling. He didn't ask for anything, but it just.. it happened. He took care of us. Jack needed that." Surely he'd hear the gutted pitch in her tone and the way she'd mentioned their son's needs over her own. She hadn't meant to fall into Greg, but he was good to the both of them and in another world, loving him would have been far too easy. She scoffed in disbelief, was he serious? Her cheeks flushed with heat as anger dared to litter her chest. She wouldn't give him the satisfaction. "Does he know what? That Jack's yours?" There was no sugarcoating it. No easing into the truth he'd asked for. Tears dared to blur her vision, but she swiped them away along the regret that had dared to form. "No." She'd been too afraid to tell him the truth and ashamed too. Heart sank to her stomach, the betrayal of not one man burning her to the core, but of two. Greg had known? And he'd never said anything, even during the few times she'd hinted at the male before her now? "Bullshit." Surely he hadn't. No, Greg wouldn't lie to her. Would he? No.

El Internado 6x09
1. This is going to sound mean and I don’t mean it to, but Caro is much more to Marcos’ specs as a reason for fighting and a cause for vengeance than a flesh and blood girlfriend. I don’t mean he doesn’t mourn her, he obviously does, but Marcos, like his uncle Hector, is not a world well lost for love type - for him it’s family then ideals and only then romance.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also, Marcos and Caro were not on the same page for most of the show - their timing never clicked which is realistic enough but once again mitigates against earth-shaking love. I find it so interesting that the original OTP, Marcos-Caro, and the original love trangle Marcos-Caro-Ivan, was the one thing that never worked about the show and character interactions. To the makers’ credit, they figured that out pretty early, exited Ivan from it, and put any Marcos x Caro stuff firmly in the background. The thing is - the actors had zero chemistry together. Like there is this epic flashback that is supposed to be peak romance and I am eyeing candles in the background.
Tumblr media
And I think by the end the writers more than knew it which is why they never bothered to do anything much with Marcos x Caro post early s2. I mean the above scene is the most romantic scene we get with them and it’s in flashback after Caro is dead! Contrast with Ivan x Julia, which was clearly not initially planned in any way but they saw the dynamite they had and ran with it.
2. I found it pretty telling that when Noiret was threatening all their loved ones to keep them quiet, he left Julia out. She doesn’t have anyone she cares outside the gang. But also, he continues to be father of the year.
Tumblr media
And then when he finds out he and Lucia have a son:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Noiret is one of those people who should never ever adopt. He’s had Ivan since Ivan was a day old and he still views him as an alien. He doesn’t know this kid at all, but it’s his blood so he’s all “mine!!!!” Noiret would always be an abuser - he loved his wife insofar as he was able and he still killed her - but however bad a parent he’d have been to his bio kid, there wouldn’t be such genuine void of any caring the way he has with Ivan.
3. Those two at each other’s throats is kinda hilarious to me.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And later...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
4. Hi there Amaia, the Nazi bitch!
Tumblr media
5. I have a huge soft spot for Martin x Rebecca, a single dad x super agent. Martin stealing his son because the mom was gonna take him to a different hemisphere is not cool but on the scale of all the murdery teachers in Murder School, he’s positively a saint.
Tumblr media
6. Blanca Suarez really has chemistry with anyone. Here she is with Ruben. Honestly, Julia has so much warmth and caring...I love it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Too bad he’s working for the bad guys...those arms are delicious!
Tumblr media
7. Fermin! AAAAA FERMIN!!!! He is just the best and who Maria deserved and just - I didn’t care about Caro’s death on either watch but knowing Fermin’s ending is killing me.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
8. I am incredibly amused that for some reason Ivan angsting requires him be unclad and sweaty in a lengthy montage...
Tumblr media
We see you, makers!

Real Madrid Femenino
Meet the Players: The Defense
Tumblr media
Marta Corredera
Another new signing this season for Real Madrid, Corredera will provide much needed solidarity to our back line. While primarily a right back, Corredera is capable of playing on either flank, and has even started games as a right winger. An impeccable work rate at the back, Corredera is not the quickest, but she is intelligent on and off the ball, and at 28 will provide much needed support at both ends of the pitch.
Tumblr media
Kenti Robles
At 29, Robles is another new signing this season. Coming to us on a free from Atletico de Madrid, Robles was a steal considering her talent and skill. A dynamic right back, Robles loves making off the ball runs and providing 1-2s to progress play down the feild. A decent 1v1 defender as well, she will improve the strength of our back line while also causing problems for our opponent’s own.
Tumblr media
Samara Ortíz Cruz
One of the better performers from last season, Samara was a consistent player in a rather shaky defense. Though starting the season slowly, Samara grew into her role at right back, eventually winning her starting place, though an injury toward the end of the season unfortunately set her back. At only 23, Samara came up through Atletico de Madrid’s academy with her sister Malena Ortiz, who also plays for the club.
Tumblr media
Babett Peter
Having joined CD Tacón from Wolfsburg in 2019, Babett is a veteran defender on our back line. Usually playing at right back, Babett struggled to make an impact on this side last season. Making 118 appearances for the German National Team, the 32 year old has the experience under her belt to lead our otherwise fairly young defense.
Tumblr media
Lucía Suárez Garcia
At only 19, Suárez is still a promising talent in defense. Although not seeing much playing time last season, Suárez will be hoping this season she can break through into the first team and see regular minutes in Spain’s top flight.
Tumblr media
Ivana Andrés
A strong center back, Ivana is another new signing this year for Real Madrid. Having transferred from Levante UD Femenino, Ivana is expected to provided solidity in our defense. Usually on the left side in a back four, Ivana is aggressive off her line and incisive in her passing. Still only 26, her positional awareness and 1v1 defending make her a much needed addition to this back line.
Tumblr media
Daiane Limeira Santos Silva
Although one of the weaker performers last season, Daiane has previously played for both París Saint Germaín and the Brazil National Team. At just 23, she first joined CD Tacón on loan, but her transfer was made permanent in December. Daiane played primarily as left center back in a back line riddled with i visual mistakes. With new talent, she will have to fight for her place in this new Real Madrid side.

Stop the aggressions against the Zapatistas! - Manifesto signed by Noam Chomsky, Boaventura De Sousa, Raúl Zibechi, Enzo Traverso, Gilberto López y Rivas and more.
Today those who defend the environment are slaughtered every day. At a time like the one that the planet lives in which the protection of those who defend it is required, the opposite happens. Those who have resisted this destruction by the powerful have not stopped saying NO, they have always done so, although the current administration does not want to have memory.
The murder in the community of Amilcingo, Morelos of Samir Flores, a member of the resistance against the Comprehensive Plan Morelos, its gas pipeline and thermoelectric plants that put the life and territory of Nahua communities in Puebla and Morelos at risk; the massacre of 15 Ikoot indigenous people in San Mateo del Mar, Oaxaca, one of the regions that has opposed the Trans-isthmian Corridor projects; the growing paramilitary violence in Chiapas, with 56 attacks in the municipality of Aldama alone, and the kidnapping in February of members of the National Indigenous Council (CNI) of the municipality of Chenalhó are proof that the war continues.
Now the violence is becoming more and more explicit against the Zapatista communities. The growth of the activity of paramilitary groups such as “Los Chinchulines” or the Regional Organization of Coffee Growers of Ocosingo (ORCAO), as well as the appearance of new groups, is exacerbating tension in the region. The theft and burning of warehouses and houses of the Moisés Ghandi community, of the Autonomous Rebel Zapatista Municipality “Lucio Cabañas”, (in the official municipality of Ocosingo), show the increase in the intensity of the aggressions and provocations against the Zapatista Army of National Liberation. The EZLN has respected the ceasefire for years and has focused on strengthening its autonomous organizational processes with schools, clinics, and justice systems. It is serious that one of the ethical references of resistance and construction of concrete and viable alternatives for the planet continues to be under siege, and it is even more serious that the response of those who seek to “transform Mexico” is complicity or oblivion in the face of these extermination attempts. .
It is extremely worrying that this occurs in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, that there are those who seek to take advantage of the vulnerability in which everyone finds themselves to fuel their ambitions for money and power. It is more worrisome when those who are supposedly in charge of preventing such abuses allow and therefore favor them.
Beyond the erroneous or successful changes of the executive power, which shows this escalation of violence in indigenous areas, and the worsening of paramilitary attacks in the Zapatista territory in Chiapas, is the continuity of the racist, colonial and paternalistic vision of the governments. liberals and conservatives, left and right. Projects such as the Mayan Train show the idea of bringing "development" to indigenous peoples by turning them into cheap labor and contributing only the folkloric image of the Mexican indigenous.
The violence and dispossession of indigenous territories that megaprojects such as the Trans-isthmian Corridor or the Mayan Train imply and require are the ethical breaking point of the current Mexican government, it is where the moral stature that President López Obrador has awarded in front of its predecessors begins to collapse.
Those of us who signed this letter are watching carefully what is happening in Mexico, what is happening in the Zapatista communities that for decades have been a benchmark for other ways of living, health, education, justice, politics. We will not allow the extermination of indigenous peoples with the recurring excuse of development.

Official announcement
Today CD Tacon officially becomes a part of Real Madrid and changes his name to Real Madrid CF Femenino. This season the Primera Division Women got cancelled after 21 (out of 32) rounds. CD Tacon ended the league on 10th place losing 36 points to the 1st FC Barcelona Femenino. This was CD Tacon’s first season in the Primera Division.
