Malcolm: for this ask game

Favorite thing about him: I love so many things about him! I love his constant pursuit of good and justice, while still struggling with it within himself, not to mention he’s the first character that I’ve seen on TV to be diagnosed with GAD which makes me extremely happy to have a popular character to relate to!

Least favorite thing about him: I don’t think I really have one? Because even his negative qualities like always rushing into danger without backup really just adds to the drama and it’s one of my favorite parts!

Favorite line: I love so many of his lines! “My demons don’t sleep” because I hardcore relate to that, but I also love every single thing he said while high, “We should throw axes!” being a fave

brOTP: Everyone? I just want him and everyone to be bro’s, but by far my favorite platonic relationship to explore is Gil and Malcolm, although it’s father/son and not really a brOTP lol 

OTP: I’m beginning to sound like a broken record, but also everyone. I definitely am a multi shipper in this show, if I ship at all. Malcolm and Edrisa? Adorable! Malcolm and Dani? Ahh so cute! Malcolm and Eve? Definitely connected! Malcolm and JT? Add Tammy and that could be one unstoppable poly family! I also love the idea of Malcolm staying single, so I guess no matter what happens I’ll be happy! 😊

nOTP: Malcolm and Martin. Full stop. I will literally puke if I think about this pairing. (This goes to say also Malcolm and Jess, Malcolm and Gil and Malcolm and Ainsley. All a big no-no)

Random headcanon: More realistic headcanon? Malcolm has type 1 diabetes. Headcanon that will never come true? Malcolm is asexual.

Unpopular opinion: I don’t think I have an opinion on him that’s unpopular.

17. When did you get into the fandom?

Oh boy, this is actually a decently long story so I hope you’re ready for a story.

So, to start off I don’t have an exact date as to when I got into the fandom, but I can estimate that it was sometime around November of last year. And that is the best guess I can give, because that is when the episode “Cookie Monster” came out, which was the most recent episode at the time of me getting into the show.

But I’m also going to add in ‘how’ because that will make it a little more interesting, but to provide some back story I work at Chuck E. Cheese’s and we have this show that plays on a loop all day so that way our guests have some music, or other distracting background noise to listen to so that way the only thing they hear isn’t just screaming kids and arcade machines going off.

At some point in my time working there, two of Asher’s songs, “Snowglobe Wonderland” and “Getaway” appeared in the show, which is how I became familiar with his name.

Skip forward a little bit and I was watching various gay edits on YouTube, and honestly I’m not really sure why but I was and I stumbled across the Tyrus edits and something intrigued me about it, so I looked up the show and it’s actors and that’s when I saw Asher’s name again. I connected the dots, and decided to watch it because I was very interested in the whole “Tyrus” storyline, and because I enjoyed Asher’s music. 

So, I purchased all of the previous seasons on Amazon so I could watch them and catch myself up with the show, then just proceeded to watch the episodes on DisneyNow as they came out.

So yeah, sometime around November 16th of last year is when I got into the fandom.

14. Are you the go to person in your friend group for advice? Do you like helping people through their problems?(like Cyrus.)

Yes and yes. In my friend group (offline) I make it very known that my friends can all always come to me when they need anything and usually they do. And I’ve been told i give really great advice. I have a tendency to take care of them and their issues but push mine to the side but I still love being able to help those I love and care for.

zatarain’s boxed black beans and rice (it’s my favorite thing ever and has been a same food for years)

oui strawberry dairy free yogurt (a more recent same food because it’s newish but i love it so much it’s so good and i have a specific spoon i eat it with, i could eat it everyday)

panera black bean soup (it’s my favorite soup ever and panera took it off the menu and i was very upset but i found a copycat recipe and it’s amazing and i love making it)

morning star farms vegan chik’ patties (i was raised a vegetarian so i grew up eatting these)

pancakes with chocolate chips and raspberries in it (been a favorite since i was little and i have not had them in a bit and might have to make some soon)

Random: I used to have an imaginary friend called Charlie (also what I named all of my teddy bears), and I went as far as propping a blanket up to look like someone was sitting against it to make my sister believe they were real, and then eventually said they took a trip to America. To this day, I am asked by my mum and sister if Charlie is still in America. They still have not returned.
