hello oml i luv ur writing, i’m feeling kind of angsty tonight so i wanted to request a monster trio and fem reader where they get caught cheating and then like beg for her (love when men beg!) but the reader doesn’t take them back >:0

warnings: i tried writing angst (and miserably failed), 'nuff said; also loads and loads of cursing im sorry (also couldn't write anything for sanji im so sorry)

luffy:

- "luffy?" your voice comes out as a meek whisper, blending into the night air as you see your boyfriend kissing another woman's neck in the middle of the bar - to be fair, you were on a break. you had asked him for some space but that was less than 24 hours ago and now you saw the captain of your crew entertaining a woman in his lap - "yn?" his eyes dart over to you and there's heavy guilt in his voice but you're turning away, walking away from the man you had come to win back he's running after you, his hands outstretched to catch you in your stride - "yn" he says again as he turns you to face him - a faint humming and thumping ran rampant against your cranium, visioning blurring, throat constricting till every breath felt like concrete against your burning chest - he looked guilty. the usually happy-go-lucky man seemed as though he was about to fall apart. his eyes were wide, laced with vague uncertainty and fear; his voice trembled, words faltering at the tip of his tongue as if a cursed melody - "i cannot believe you, luffy" your voice kissed your ears in a tremble as you're surprised that you can still speak, "fuck, i mean i thought you fucking loved me?" "it's not what- i do. i do, i love you." he sucks in a breath, eyes closing with great strain, "yn, its not. it's ussop, he suggested-" - ussop "suggested"???? "are you for real?" you scoff and feel the soft tears cascade down your cheeks, "ussop said shit and you decided to go fuck some random fucking woman?" - you're turning your back at him again but he pulls you towards him till your face is against his chest and his fingers interweave with your hair; you shouldn't like this. you shouldn't relish in his familiar warmth and smell and you shouldn't want to hug him when he presses a chaste kiss against your temple. you shouldn't listen to him when he says "trust me, i love you so much please" - he cheated on you, godfuckingdammit. - and he saw no problems with it till you showed up and caught him in his little fucking act. - he doesn't get to cheat on you a day after you guys went on break and then fucking have the audacity to hold you close to him as if the blood wasn't on his hands, as if he wasn't the one ruining it all. - as if he wasn't the one planning to fuck a woman tonight and return to your warm embrace tomorrow as if it never happened. - "let me go" your voice was eerily calm against his futile apologies "what? yn, no, it was a kiss i promise just one fucking ki-" "luffy, let go." - so he did - your vision blurred, your breath hitched and you walked away. you walked away from arms that had been your home on cold mornings, from eyes that traced over your face with love, from that faint smell of coconuts and a bright smile. - how can you be homesick when he was the one who wrecked it all? - but he let you go, so, you walked away.

zoro:

- somehow, you saw it all play out and now here you were, looking like the fool - fuck, how naïve were you? didn't you notice it when his touches became faint, his hands only finding yours if he had to fuck out some frustrations; his smiles became a rare occurrence. didn't you notice when he relied more on a bottle of sake than you? so fucking naïve. - you couldn't stand this party. all your friends were busy mingling with the other pirate fleet and your boyfriend had disappeared an hour into this stupid event (maybe he was passed out somewhere after drinking too much), so what were you to do except escaping into your room and spending the night away all alone? - but you could hear moaning from outside the door, faint screeches and curses. but most importantly, you could hear your own boyfriend's voice repeating the same phrases so sacred to you - opening the door with the key you had, you walked into the scene - the blood rushed into your ear and suddenly every little jolt of the sunny made you feel like you would throw up. the world swayed under your feet as you took in the tangle of limbs that lay in front of you - "zo? zoro?" "yn- fuck, what the fuck" he was frozen, the other woman covering herself in your sheets, snuggling against your boyfriend in your room. - you were gonna be fucking sick. - "yn, what are you- doing here, i-" his voice trembled, eyes darting between you and the floor, avoiding your scorching gaze. - "are you fucking kidding me?" to your surprise, a small laugh escaped you despite the shock and the dew clinging onto your lashline. you repeated, as if unaware you had already spoken once, "you have to be fuckin' kidding me, fucking christ zoro." "i can expain, ple-" he got off the bed, putting on his pants and the other woman used the opportunity to pick up her dress and slip out "explain? explain to me how you fucked that woman?" you seethed, the words lingering on your tongue like a bitter aftertaste. - his hands over his eyes, he paced around, "yn just lis-" "no fucking go ahead." the tear streaks glided past your cheek, burning as they dripped off your chin and onto the hardware flooring, "explain to me how you fucked her, did you do it the same way you fuck me? was it good? did she-" - his tone shifted, as if resentment deep within boiled to the surface, "why do you fucking care now? huh?" "why dO I CARE? ZORO CAN YOU HEAR YOURSELF? YOU FUCKED ANOTHER WOMAN RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME AND-" "AND WHAT?" his voice softened when you flinched at the sudden high tone, "and fucking what yn? i've been nothing but fucking miserable and you could barely notice" "I DID NOTICE. I DID FUCKING NOTICE AND WH-what- i tried everything. i tried to make you happy but you being miserable was enough reason for you to ch- fucking cheat on me?" your voice trembled, tears pouring down and chest heaving. - as if the gravity of the situation weighed in on his all at once, his face contorted till all he could display was sheer, stark guilt "i- fuck" he took a step towards you, arm outstretched as if to pull you towards him - but you took a step back - "yn" he whispered, "i dont know why i- fuck, why did i fucking do that? im sorry, listen to me im sorry-" "you're sorry?" you scoffed, "take that sorry and shove it up your fucking ass" - with that, you were gone. finding yourself back at the party, gulping down pint after pint of booze till you woke up with a hammering headache and a pair of foreign arms wrapped around your torso - and when you turned to look at it, you missed the familiar green locks of hair - but fuck roronoa zoro, right?

sanji:

Alternative, healthier Crocomom/dad/parent theory to juxtapose the previous one I posted.

Luffy was still a Cryptic pregnancy, because if he and Dragon had known, they would have very likely aborted so as not to bring a child into a world that would be irrationally dangerous for them (See: Ace and Robin being hunted like dogs by the WG for the "sin" of their heritage). But Dragon and Croc would have embraced this surprise baby boy with open arms and open hearts.

But they still would have to give their baby up. They both knew this. To make sure their son has the very best bet of survival in this world, he would need to have as few ties to his parents as humanly possible.

They couldn't even bear to name the boy, knowing they would have to let him go.

It... tore them both up. It ended up with the two men growing distant, and eventually having their relationship fizzle out. They still loved each other, yes, but the magic just wasn't there anymore. It all went away with their baby boy.

Cut to Alabasta.

Crocodile is fully transitioned by this point, thanks to Iva. He's a Warlord now, he's feeding the Revolutionaries a steady influx of information on World Government activities, but he's seeking out Pluton on the down-low to wipe the WG off the face of the earth.

He is, unfortunately, not as merciful or patient a man as Dragon. He wants shit done and he wants it done as fast as possible, consequences be damned.

This attitude also contributed significantly to the distancing between himself and Dragon.

And now Luffy arrives and starts to put a wrench in his plans.

Crocodile doesn't recognize him. Not his face, as he'd all but blocked it from his memory. Not his name, as they chose not to name him.

As for the surname? Well, he and Dragon had an unspoken thing between them. Neither of them knew the other's full name so that information wouldn't get out if either were captured and interrogated.

Crocodile didn't know Luffy was their son until Sengoku dropped that particular hazardous info bomb in Marineford.

So, he did as any crocodilian parent would do when their hatchling is in distress and wrecked house.

His goal? Draw as much attention to himself as possible. Instigate total chaos.

Stopping Ace's execution and jumping in the middle of the crowd to announce how petty you're feeling? Attacking Whitebeard with reckless abandon in broad daylight in front of his crew?

Bet.

He wanted all eyes on him at Marineford so none of them would be on Luffy, which worked on just about everyone but a volcanic freight train named Sakazuki.

The horror of realizing he had stabbed, mummified, and poisoned his own son back during the Alabasta coup only hits him later when the dust has settled.

And man does it hit him hard.

Monster Trio w/ a Jealous S/O who Decides to Take Revenge

Luffy:

Boa Hancock was definitely in love with Luffy.  Everyone could see it, except for Luffy.

He just kind of let it happen.  He didn’t flirt back or anything, but that is what pissed you off!

So you kept thinking of how to get revenge and Nami told you to spend time with someone he could not stand.  You wrecked your brain trying to think of people he didn’t like, when all of a sudden he walked right by you.  Kid!

You spent your time with him at the pirate festival ignoring Luffy.  Kid was actually super fun to spend time with.  You both had a lot of hobbies and interests in common, so it was actually kind of fun

Luffy wasn’t really bothered.  Flirting wasn’t really something he understood, so your plan backfired.  He asked you when you and Jaggy became friends.

Even after explaining your revenge plan to him, Luffy really didn’t understand what was going on, so you did all that work for nothing.

Well, at least you made a new friend in Kid.

And a new enemy in Boa Hancock.

Zoro:

Hiyori and Zoro woke up together and of course you had to walk into the room with Brook and see it.

You decide to get revenge and make him jealous.  So you decide to get cozy with the one person he can’t stand, Sanji.

You hung out with Sanji all day.  Telling him how sweet he was and how much you enjoyed being with him and how much better he was than Marimo.

Zoro was so annoyed but knew you wouldn’t listen to him, so he sent your new arch rival, Hiyori, to talk to you.

She explained that it was only for body warmth and that she would not step on your toes.

You went to find Zoro and told him you were sorry and that you didn’t really like Sanji like you liked him.

He was happy and gave you a passionate kiss.

Then he went and found Sanji.  We all know how that was going to end.

Sanji:

Sanji is one of the biggest flirts.  If you are a beautiful woman, he’s flirting with you.

One day you were just done with it all and you knew you needed to get back at him for this

You were really good friends with Zoro (much to Sanji’s dismay) so you asked him for a favor.  Be all flirty with you for the day and you’ll let him have your share of Sake at dinner.

You two spent the whole day spending time with Zoro, taking naps together, talking, training, etc.

Sanji was NOT liking this.  No one out like HIS GIRL more that him

At one point, Sanji could take it and the two men got into their usual fights.  Saying that Zoro need to back off because he was better to you and he could love you better

This was your queue.  You jumped into action and explained the whole situation to Sanji while Zoro laughed at how dumb the cook was.

Sanji promised to try a little harder to not flirt, but no matter how much he flirted, none of them were as great as you.

But, he could not promise you that he wouldn’t beat up your swordsman bff after he was done

“Has anyone seen Luffy?”

You’d just sat down, a little late to breakfast after grabbing a quick shower, and you could feel your skin flush red at Nami’s question.

Zoro still looked a bit wrecked, bandaged up from the fight, but finally awake. He pulled you in close, and you sighed against him. All while you pondered how to tell your partners that your one night stand last night had been with the captain. 

“He must have been more tired than he let on for him to miss breakfast,” Robin contemplated, looking as fresh and lovely as always. 

“That’s alright, more for us!”

Usopp reached for more waffles, until Sanji tutted at him.

“Usopp, I will gladly throw you under the bus if Luffy wakes up to no breakfast.”

His eyes went wide as he dropped the waffles, and you giggled along with Nami. 

“Anyone check on Luffy? He’s snoring so loud I thought there was something wrong with the Sunny,” Franky questioned as he sauntered in, chugging cola while he coiffed his hair. 

“Let’s let him rest, I'm sure he’ll be running in here to inhale everything in the fridge when he’s feeling better,” Sanji declared as he ran his fingers along your shoulder while he poured your coffee. 

The four of you settled down when the rest of the crew left, Sanji finally starting on his own breakfast. 

For so long there’d been nothing to discuss at these check ins. They were just a lovely, quiet time to connect with each other. Today was different. 

“I didn't see you at the party after dinner, Y/N. Did you find someone to enjoy the evening with?”

Robin’s eyes sparkled as she asked, always so eager to know about everyone’s experiences, if they felt like sharing. 

“I did, actually.”

You’d been together long enough, been through so much with each other, that Zoro didn’t even tense around you like he used to. It made you feel so safe, knowing that he trusts you.

But now your throat was tight with anxiety at what he might feel today. 

“So, do we get to hear about this lucky lover?” 

“It was Luffy.”

Sanji choked on his eggs, coughing and sputtering while Robin handed him his water. Her face showed more shock than you’d seen for a long time, her brows lifted, lips parted. 

Zoro did tense then, and you could see his brows tensing. 

“Sorry, my love. Did you say Luffy,” Sanji asked when he was able to breathe again. 

“Mmhm,” you said, nodding. You felt like you were floating a little outside of your body, not quite here.

“Wow, uh, I didn’t think that Luffy…”

Robin patted Sanji’s hand as she cut in.

“Will you be seeing each other again?”

“I think it was just for one night. He just said he wanted to make me feel good.”

“I don’t want to hear about it,” Sanji said as he shook his head back and forth, wide eyed.

You choked on a laugh as Robin mouthed ‘I do.’

“I know we’ve been okay with one night stands without checking in first. Last night happened so fast, and I’m sorry. I feel like I should have checked in before, I just never expected…”

Zoro had pulled his arm away from around your shoulder, leaning his elbows on the table while he looked down at his hands. 

“Z-Zoro?”

“It’s fine, Y/N. It’s okay.”

His gruff voice was hard to read, but fear and shame bubbled in your stomach.

“Do you want-”

“I’m fine. Just need a minute.”

Your breath caught in your throat as you watched Zoro stand and walk out of the room, still limping slightly from his injuries. You choked out a small sob as your hand reached to your chest.

Robin sent hands around you, rubbing your back and your hair while small, scared tears started to fall.

Sanji reached across the table and you took his offered hand. You were so grateful to have them both, their soft eyes holding you in comfort, while your body filled with fear and guilt.

“Y/N, you didn’t do anything wrong. We have all taken advantage of the one night stand agreement.”

“But this is Luffy,” you whispered, voice hoarse already.

Sanji shook his head slightly, still looked dazed at that news, while Robin dipped her head toward you.

“It was within our agreement. Now Zoro needs some time, and you both can talk about it. It’ll be okay.”

Your lips quivered at her words, closing your eyes for a long moment. 

“How do you guys feel about it?”

You and Robin both looked at Sanji with his mouth opening and closing a few times. He cleared his throat, voice a bit higher than normal. 

“I see no problem at all with you enjoying his, uh, company. I’m just shocked that- I just didn’t expect…”

Neither did I,” you breathed out, shaking your head.

“I think it’s just lovely,” Robin said with a smirk.

“Of course you do.”

You let out a soft laugh while her teasing smile brought you back to the moment. 

“I’m going to go look for him.”

“He might need some more time, sweetheart. There’s not enough brains in that moss head for him to sort things out so quickly.”

You gave Sanji’s shoulder a light slap as you passed him.

“I know. I just want him to know I’m here for him.”

You found Zoro leaning over the railing, looking out over the calm sea. 

“Hi.”

He glanced at you, and you were so grateful to see no anger in his eyes. He just looked away, hands gripping the railing. 

“I just want to tell you I’m here if you want to talk. Or just sit together. But I’ll give you space if you want me too. Whatever you need.”

Zoro took a deep breath, exhaling while he closed his eyes. He turned to you, and you were frozen, desperately waiting to know if he was okay. 

“I’m not mad, Needy. You didn’t do anything wrong.”

You bit your lip to keep it from shaking. 

“It’s just… he’s my capt-”

Zoro reached for you as you yelped, but he was too late. An arm had stretched out and curled your waist, until you were flinging backwards, hearing your captain shouting your name. 

He pulled you into the hallway, then carried you into the galley.

“Good morning, Y/N! How are you feeling?”

You were too breathless to reply, grabbing onto the table for support as he set you down. Luffy started eating the rest of the crew's breakfast, grinning at you through mouthfuls of food. 

Sanji and Robin were at the counter, mouths wide as they stared. 

“Luffy-” 

“I feel so good this morning!”

Still catching your breath, you couldn’t help but laugh at his manic voice, his eyes filled with that spark that sets him apart.

“Luffy, you can’t just grab a lady like tha-”

You held your hand out toward Sanji, not wanting him to speak for you. You needed Luffy to listen to you. Luckily Robin understood, and led a red faced Sanji out of the kitchen. 

Luffy swallowed his bite long enough to lean toward you conspiratorially, speaking in a stage whisper.

“Can we play again today?”

Shivers ran up your skin at his heated look, still so filled with his manic energy. Clearing your throat, you managed to get some words out. 

Lu-Luffy, it was a wonderful night. But nothing more can happen until everyone else feels okay with it.”

His brows tensed in confusion, his emotions often so easy to read.

“But you’re always so happy all together. Won’t you be more happy? We can keep feeling good.”

He’d stopped eating, even using the tablecloth to wipe his face while he stared at you.

“Is that what you want Luffy? And we are all happy because we check in, and listen to each other about what we need and want.”

“I want to feel good. I want you to feel good. I want to taste you, and eat you, and touch you.”

His hand stretched out to touch your jaw, his thumb rubbing lightly at the corner of your lips.

Shivering, you moved his hand away.

“That sounds wonderful, Luffy. But I know you want your crew to be happy right. I have to make sure they're okay before we do anything else.”

“I can check!”

“Wha- no, Luffy!”

You were in the air again, his arms holding you as he charged out onto the deck again. Your face was flushed red as you saw Zoro turn toward his captain’s voice, his jaw clenching. 

“Zoro, Zoro - can I help you make Y/N feel good?”

“Luffy st-stop, put me down, please.”

Sanji stepped up beside Zoro, eyes narrowing as Luffy set you down. 

You turned your back on them to face your captain.

“Luffy, I’m not ready to tell you yes, or no yet. Please give me time to decide.”

He looked into your face, his deep, brown eyes so intense. His breath was heavy as he looked from your eyes, to your mouth, and back again.

“Y-Yes, Y/N, I’m sorry.”

With a sigh of relief, you touched his shoulder.

“It’s okay, Luffy. I’ll talk to you later, okay?”

You turned to see that Robin had joined the boys. She came toward you as Luffy walked away, the mania seeming to have seeped out of him for the moment. 

Robin nudged you all up, and you silently followed her to the crow’s nest. She turned to you, pulling you into a gentle hug.

“Are you, okay?”

“Not yet,” you whispered as you looked into Zoro’s eyes, hating his blank stare. Sanji’s jaw was still clenching slightly, and you felt sick.

Robin stepped in to ask the questions the boys couldn’t.

“Do you want to continue seeing Luffy?”

Exhaling sharply, you felt your fingers gripping against your thighs until Robin took your hands again.

“I honestly hadn’t thought about it. I thought it was a one time thing.”

“But would you want more if that was an option?”

“... Not if everyday would be like today. Not if it would disturb what we all have together.”

You couldn’t read the expressions on the boys’ faces.

“So if a balance could be found, you would enjoy spending more time with Luffy?”

You let yourself breathe and truly sit with the question. It was all so out of the blue, it had never seemed like an option before last night. And today was absolute chaos. 

You thought of the intensity in his stare when he looked at you, when he wanted you and your pleasure. You thought of how ridiculous he is, and how much you admire him, even with his chaos. 

You thought of Zoro, of how he’d grown so much in your time together, finally able to speak his needs. I don’t want to hurt him.

“I would be interested in seeing what it would be like. But absolutely not if it made any of you feel uncomfortable.”

Everyone was silent, and you tried to relax, focusing on the gentle breeze caressing your face. 

Clearing his throat, Sanji leaned toward you. 

“I would support you in exploring, uh. In pursuing your- um, in following your desires,” he said, his nervous smile fading for a moment. “However, if he mistreats you or handles you that way again, we will have a problem.”

“I agree,” Robin chimed in. “If you are going to explore that, we will have to ensure that our captain understands your boundaries.”

Sanji gave a choked laugh. Robin seemed to fight her small smile at him before returning her eyes to yours. 

“He is our captain, but you are our partner. If he can’t respect your boundaries, then I will not be able to support you seeing each other.”

Nodding slowly, you turned to meet Zoro’s gaze again, needing him to speak. He finally did. 

“He’s my captain. I won’t stand in the way of his happiness.”

Frowning slightly, you stepped closer.

“I won’t stand in the way of your happiness, Zoro. I don't need to do this. You are my priority.”

His lips pursed, and he looked over the railing. You couldn’t breathe, until he reached out, gently taking your hand. 

“It’s okay, Y/N. If you want to try, I’m okay with it,” he said, his voice soft while your chest filled with warmth. “Besides, he may be my captain, but I will still kick his ass if he grabs you like that again.”

“So will I,” you heard Sanji agree while you launched into Zoro’s arms. Breathing him in, you felt so safe. 

Robin and Sanji both held you too before you climbed back down to the deck. Your whole body was buzzing. Is this really happening?

Luffy was suddenly there, grinning at you all.

“So, can I help?”

Robin’s bright laugh was too much, and you couldn’t hold back a soft chuckle. Especially when you caught Nami across the deck, looking at you like you’d just turned into a whale.

“Luffy, there are some rules-”

“Can we do rules later,” he whined as he stepped toward you.

“Listen here, captain. Y/N’s not a toy, and you’re gonna have to share.”

“Share like a toy?”

He looked genuinely confused and you groaned at the frustrated growls from Sanji and Zoro. Robin’s laughter was like lovely background music, keeping the tone light.

Robin stepped in, walking up close to you. 

“Luffy, why don’t you join us at our meeting tomorrow after breakfast and we can tell you how things work.”

“Okay,” Luffy nodded, his grin growing wider as he kept his hungry eyes on you. 

“Do you want to go with him now?”

Robin’s whisper sent shivers through you. You looked at Luffy’s hands, clenching on air to keep from grabbing at you.

“Yes,” you whispered back, feeling a bit insane. 

“Luffy, you always need to ask Y/N what she wants before doing it, otherwise I will personally throw you into the sea.”

His smile faltered, and you shook your head, leaning close to reassure him.

“I’m just grabbing a condom, unless you have some in your room?”

His grin returned, and he waited for you outside your quarters, before grabbing your wrist and dragging you to his.

He slammed the door closed behind you, and then you were gasping for air.

in the moments after a close encounter, zoro grapples with himself. what’s more important--you? or all of the goals that he has been working towards? he wasn’t sure anymore.

Zoro had only two aims in life–to become the world’s greatest swordsman, and to see Luffy become King of the Pirates. These aims made him steadfast, fiercely loyal, and unwavering. 

Recently, however, a third aim began to creep into his singularly focused mind. It happened quietly, so quietly that he didn’t notice until after it was already firmly planted. To have you. To keep you safe. To make you happy. It was this aim that made his chest tighten, made his stomach sink low and his hands clench and ache. It was this aim that threatened to burn all of his immutable plans until they were nothing but ash. And you had no idea. 

 But here, in a back alley of some forgotten town on some forgotten island, a deep panic set in for Zoro. He was flattened against a stone wall, your back pressed tightly to his chest. One strong arm wrapped around your waist, and his calloused hand was covering your panting mouth. 

“They went this way!” A Navy soldier shouted. Footfalls faded along with the sound of their voices as they passed your dark hiding place.

He was sure you could feel his heart pounding between your shoulder blades. His breaths were quick and shallow in your ear. 

I left him. He thought with horror. I left Luffy.

No matter how capable his captain may be of fending off any number of enemies, that was besides the point for Zoro. He vowed to always be by Luffy’s side, always be ready whenever he was needed. And he left him.

In the chaos, Zoro’s only thought was keeping you safe. And in that chaos, he left his captain behind. He was at war with himself, guilt and relief, fear and longing, all wrapped into a tangled, angry knot. 

“Phew,” you laughed quietly, “that would’ve been bad.” He jolted, and his thoughts snapped to the present like a stone in a slingshot. 

“Zoro? You okay?” You questioned. He suddenly felt hot with embarrassment. He relinquished his grip on you after another long moment and looked down, shame beginning to fill his body.

You were confused. What happened to the light-hearted teasing between the two of you only moments before the Navy showed up? 

He didn’t trust himself to speak. 

“Did I do something wrong?” You asked. He hated the way the insecurity crept into your tone. It wasn’t your fault he was having a crisis of identity. Well, actually. It was. It was completely your fault. Suddenly, he was flooded with anger. He pushed away from the wall and turned his back to you.

“Yes, actually,” He said before he could stop himself. 

Even with his back turned, he could feel your expression. “...really? What–” You started, choking a little on the question. “What did I do?”

He whirled to face you. “You showed up, y/n. That’s what.” 

Your voice caught in your throat, your lips agape. 

“You showed up, y/n,” He repeated. “And you wrecked everything. Things were so much easier when you weren’t around.” He ran his hands through his hair, gripping the green locks at the back of his neck as he continued. “I knew what I was supposed to do, okay? I knew exactly who I was and what I wanted.” His eyes became frantic, like he was talking to himself. “Become the world’s greatest swordsman. See Luffy become King of the Pirates. Every decision, every thought, geared towards that end.”

“But you showed up, y/n,” he repeated a third time, this time a bit softer. He paused for a long moment and the air seemed to crackle with energy. His gray eyes found yours and you had never seen him so vulnerable.

“It terrifies me what I would do for you.” He finally said, so quiet it was almost a whisper. “I might abandon it all. For you.” 

Tears welled up in your eyes and you reached out to him, cupping his face in one hand. “Zoro,” You said gently. “Never. You’ll never need to abandon it all. Ever.”

He swallowed hard.

“Every decision I make, every thought I have,” you continued, repeating his words from earlier, “It’s all for you and for Luffy.”

He leaned unconsciously into your palm. 

You kissed the corner of his mouth and whispered, “To abandon yourself, is to abandon me. So stay.” 

He drew a shuddering breath and gathered you into his arms. If could speak, he would have thanked you. He would have thanked you for giving him the permission to remain who he was, to not judge or expect anything more or less. 

But for now, he would have to accept this–an intimate embrace in a back alley of a forgotten town on a forgotten island. And his fear began to melt.

On some days of the Sunny, it wouldn’t be as bright and shiny. Whenever the ship traversed through harsher seas and rougher terrains, terrible storms would alway ensue. Some days you’d be lucky, and it would only be a drizzle and you were just confined inside. Some days you weren’t, and it would turn into an all hands on deck type of scenario. Thankfully, Nami had reported it was just a light rain, and the Sunny would pass the rainy patch in a day or two. That meant the entire crew was stuck inside. Robin and Nami would be in their respective offices; Robin in the library researching poneglyphs and Nami busy drawing maps. Zoro was probably asleep or training. Luffy, Usopp and Chopper would be trying to find some type of game they could play without wrecking the place. Franky was somewhere in his workshop building something new. 

You laid down on the dining table, arms out as you stared at the ceiling. Your boyfriend was busy in the kitchen cooking up a snack for you to eat, humming a nonexistent tune. You would be lying if you said you were happy with your current condition. You hated rainy days; everyone hated rainy days. As much as you all respected Franky for building the Sunny and decorating the inside, it was not stimulating enough to cure your boredom. 

Sanji seemed to take notice, letting out a little chuckle. “Why the frown, dear?”

“I’m bored.” You replied flatly.

“Do you plan on staying like this the entire day? Lying down in the center of the dining table like a sacrifice?”

“Yes. I would very much rather be a sacrifice than be stuck inside.”

"Surely you wouldn't occupy the table for the rest of the day. "

"Try me."

Sanji chuckled. “But I need to serve dinner eventually.”

“I’ll move.” You shifted your body, gazing at your blonde haired personal chef as he walked towards you, one of his hands carrying your favorite snack. He set it in front of your face, a warm and comforting smile on his.

“Don’t frown, okay, dear? As much as I love how cute you look when you pout, I don’t like seeing you sad. It makes me sad.” Sanji’s hand ran through your hair, ruffling it up a bit. You instinctively let out a chuckle at his action, reluctantly sitting up and taking the plate. Sanji got onto the table next to you, staying by your side as you ate the food. He watched you devour the plate without leaving a single crumb. You set the plate by your side, prompting Sanji to jump off the table, offering a hand towards you. With his ‘help’, your feet made contact with the ground again, your hand resting in Sanji’s. In a single motion, he pulled your body close to yours, wrapping his arms around your shoulder. 

Suddenly, music started to play from nowhere, serene jazz music filling the empty kitchen. You figured Brook was lurking somewhere on the rafters, just hanging by a bone and playing his violin. Or maybe it was a tone dial. Nevertheless, music filled your ears, blocking out the sound of the pouring rain. Sanji’s footwork was light as ever, making you unable to sense where he was or what his next move was. You could only tell by his breathing where he was, feeling the wind brush against your neck and graze your cheek. The chef held you close to his body, perfectly aligning it with his like two puzzle pieces fitting together. Sanji’s touch was gentle and reassuring, as if to convey all his love and affection through the warmth of his embrace. You rested your head on Sanji’s chest, hearing the steady rhythm of his heartbeat, feeling the rise and fall of his breath. With every step Sanji led, your worries and troubles faded away, love and affection filling the space. All your focus was on the man in front of you. The kitchen slowly transformed into your little oasis, a place of love and solace, rid of anxiety or stress.

Maybe some rainy days weren’t that bad after all.

i think truly the most absurd parenting scenario we could put sanji in is with Real Pirate King Buggy 🦅🦅🦅🦅

Sanji would really suit that like. commedia dell’arte venetian theatre. Sanji would make a fine Arlecchino or Tartaglia (both lover roles, but Arlecchino or ‘the Harlequin’ is often a trickster character too)

Buggy would unironically be an incredible father tho. like. i am fully confident that there is nothing Buggy doesn’t excell in despite his pathetic soppy wet cat existence. He’s a COMPETENT soppy wet cat.

Sanji growing up as an acrobat in Buggy’s circus and getting doted on by all the crew oh ya know he’d love the dramatic flamboyance of it all.

Listen, you're cooking. And it smells GREAT! But I think we need to adjust the seasoning a bit. Buggy managed to successfully hide in the East Blue and be forgotten from Roger's crew and all his adversaries. Like Buggy has to be running a network of some sort. He probably has informants in the New World ya know? For sure in the Grand Line.

I don't really fuck with Shuggy ATM(crossguild brain rot) but like also Buggy probably knows about Usopp and Luffy and that's part of why he signed the(forged) adoption papers. Sanji is also probably skilled with all sorts of weapons? His kitchen knives are not weapons but like he has a set of knives that are always hidden on him. He probably shows Usopp a bunch of spices and stuff that are good for bombs and Nami and Robin are confused about exactly how much in universe Shakespeare, albeit Robin is impressed. Luffy just knows but imagine Zoro finds out when the cook, who doesn't fight with his hands just swallows a Marines sword to distract them right before Luffy Gum Gum Pistols them.

Rayleigh talks more about Shanks and Sanji is just looking at his nails and briefly brings up Buggy. And Sanji can't help himself when he says "at least he's not a dead beat, he didn't abandon me" which makes Robin laugh and Luffy and Usopp ask what means and Sanji is like "you both haven't seen the Redhair crew since you were in the single digits, Buggy saw me at Baratie three weeks before you lot wrecked it and he would stop by every couple of weeks normally" And the crew is shook.

Like then Sanji just proudly showing everyone his photo of the Buggy Pirates, him, and Buggy in the adoption office and then again with just Buggy and Sanji and the paper and the jolly Roger. Rayleigh is having heart palpitations as Nami, Luffy, and Zoro scream at how lame his dad is and Sanji is like "oh you guys are the reason he's in Impel Down this makes sense" and Rayleigh is losing it. Shakky is laughing so hard. Rayleigh asks if anyone is planning to get Buggy out of prison and Sanji shrugs and says the lion is in charge now.

And then after the time skip to the forming of the crossguild everyone keeps shitting on. Like imagine Mihawk and Croc walking into Buggy's tent and seeing Black Leg Sanji as a child in full clown get up sitting on his own head in a photo and next to it is the adoption photo. When they ask Buggy about it hes just like "oh yeah, I adopted him at ten. Saw him all the time after he started at Baratie. Unfortunate he's not out of his civilian phase yet." And Croc and Mihawk are reeling. "Then again I think having to relive his trauma in Germa and with Big Mom probably didn't help, oh well. I'll talk to him about it when I see him."

When they see each other is some meeting between the Hats, the Guild and Redhair Pirates Luffy and Usopp are really happy to see their dad's. Sanji is probably being passed around by Buggy's crew and petting Richie who has him pinned to the ground and Crocodile is groaning that the clown's kid did the whole Mr. Prince thing and Shanks is confused because "you didn't tell me you had a brat?"

"well I legally adopted him eleven years ago and when Garp found out he said I was a better dad than you and Roger and Rayleigh so."

chapter 1103 SPOILERS

I've gotten a bit lazy lately, I'm basically burnt out to the BONE from work so sorry for not bringing the previous leaks earlier:

we've got big news for my beloved bonbon and her bear papa:

The chapter's title is "I'm sorry, daddy" (GOOOOOOOOD WHY!) And we have a beautiful color spread of the straw hats and our beloved wano warrior YAMATO, they're all riding momo in his dragon form (😏) since it's the year of the dragon

We start where we finished in the mini flashback, where bonney is standing in the memory bubble room, she turns back to her original child form and apologizes to vegapunk since she used to think HE was the one behind her dad's death

Vegapunk understands and gives her something Kuma was planning on handing her on her 10th birthday, it's a sun necklace made of sapphire

UAAAAAAAGHHHH NOOOOOO HOW DARE YOU SATURN!! HOW DARE YOU KILL SOMEONE AS SWEET AS KUMA

Speak of the devil (literally!) We go back to the present time confrontation between saturn, the remaining vegapunks, the cp0 and the rest. Bonney uses her attack "Nika-ish future" to attack saturn but she fails. NOW THIS IS WHERE IT'S ABOUT TO GET ABSOLUTELY BONKERS!

Saturn thinks to himself that this form of Bonney's Nika is much more different than the Nika God since she can only replicate the rubber power

This mf Saturn has his power over everybody that they can't budge a single inch, suddenly he notices that Luffy is eating some food from the floor (somebody must've snuck it at the beginning of the confrontation or smtn) of course Saturn is like "how fucking dare you eat while I'm in the middle of my epic fit of rage" and orders someone to chain him with kairoseki (what a vibe killer)

Like oooooooh calm down big man he's not gonna bite you ffs

It's revealed that thw Toshi Toshi no mi power was given to bonney by saturn, now underline the word "POWER" because this is where it's about to get REALLY messed up

Saturn has been experimenting on people to extract devil fruit powers and then give them to other people. And of course, as fucked up as it sounds, Saturn gave the disease to Ginny (probably while she was pregnant) and the poor woman ended up developing the rare sapphire scale disease

i swear on god, if Saturn's bitchass doesn't get absolutely wrecked then I'm dropping OP, do NOT DISAPPOINT ME ODA I AM SERIOUS!

also is it just me, or is this aj attempt from Oda to clarify that the sapphire scale disease is a sideffect and not an STD? Because I've ssen A LOT of fans speculating about that and i have NEVER EVER in my life thought I'd see the day where I'll hear the words STD and ONE PIECE in one sentence until this very arc!

anyways, Saturn's stupid-ass gave the toshi toshi effect to ginny and somehow she passed it to bonney during her pregnancy, this comes as a surprise to him since this has never happened

According to Saturn, the more bonney starts to learn about Nika's true form and tries to copy it, the weaker she becomes. bonney is seen crying in despair and fear, she apologizes to her father about how despite how far he went to ensure she'd make it out alive, she will end up dead anyways

NO BONBON DON'T CRY PLEASE I'M BEGGING YOU PAPA WOULD ALWAYS PROTECT YOU!!!

Speaking of her papi, Kuma crashes right into egghead and gets attacked by some marine soldiers who were shooting at him with grenade launchers (taht's hardcore as fuck, I AM DROPPING THE PANELS NOW just so you can see how cold Kuma looks!)

he gets injured once again in his head but is able to reach Saturn just in time (who had thrown bonney to the ground and was about to squash her with his spider legs) just for Kuma to come and shield her with his body, and have the long nail at the end of Saturn's leg punture his back and chest

Kuma grabs him by the leg and turs around, readying a punch as his face grimaces in rage, and saturn looks at him in absolute shock

and now, DRUM ROLL FOR THE LEAAAAAAAAAKS

One Piece Chapter 1111 - Initial Thoughts

The chapters are taking longer and longer to come out it seems, but One Piece finally dropped its final chapter before another 3 week hiatus.

It's a shame, but it's an understandable route, I think we all had the urge to wrap Oda in bubble wrap after Akira Toriyama's saddening death, everyone has to process it their own way.

Regardless, we have a chapter still to get through, so let's see where we're leaving things?

Spoilers for the Chapter, Support the Official Release

A colour spread of chips (or fries for you Americans) and jellyfish with the crew, Kuma, Vegapunk and Bonney, of course Bonney wants more after eating her own

Marcus Mars indeed has breached the Labosphere and Jinbe, sensing the haki, wants to get out now

Zoro's not quite content though, Lucci is beaten but not down

Scarred now at the front, Lucci still stands, angry but stumbling over to the two

With time of the essence Jinbe grabs Zoro and uses a 5,000 Brick Fist to propel them away

I'm sure Sanji stans and Anti-Zoro fans will have a field day of 'Zoro didn't beat Lucci' but guys he looks plenty beat, just because they get up again after being knocked out doesn't mean he's not beat, else we're gonna have to say that Mihawk never beat Zoro or Luffy never beat Enel

Like the moment they left he collapses back into human form

And then proceeds to shit bricks seeing Mars, asking for status on York

The loyal dog (or cat) he is he does give Mars the rundown; York is in the control room, the 5 straw hats above are seeking escape through the south when Zoro and Jinbe reconvene, 2 Vegapunks are up here, 85 CP agents and 4 Seraphim in the basement and 6 minutes before Vegapunk's message

Though, a rare show of sentiment from Rob Lucci, as he requests that Kaku - heavily injured in the control room - be recovered

Also worth noting that if Kaku's bandaged like this it likely means Chopper healed him after he was wrecked by at least S-Hawk

Mars however makes no guarantees, already planning to 'wipe out the nest'

Back to Luffy we see him reunite with the giants

Dorry and Brogy seem to think that Luffy's taking the image of the Sun God rather than actually being Nika

Warcury and Saturn are once again taken aback by the appearance of giants

Sanji has been relaying the messages, having told the giants to help Luffy with escaping

Kinda strange though because Sanji was very isolated for Little Garden, having that little coffee break chatting with Crocodile and breaking the Unluckies' necks, but sure enough

We have a map too, though Oda made sure not to mark any of the Gorosei

Dorry blows a horn, signalling that they got to Luffy, which pulls the giants into a tactical retreat

Warcury readies a retort though, blowing his own 'horn' with a yell of Conqueror's Haki

A yell so powerful it popped most of Luffy's features off his body, including his scar!

But naturally toon force means he can put it back together, he's literally holding his eye scar

'Some Government Big Shot' is so funny when you consider that Luffy literally doesn't know who the five godheads of the world government are

Warcury's got flips too, looking to attack with the horns, but the giants block each tusk with their shields

Warcury's tusks seem to have the definition of swords now, I wonder if that's linked to his powers

He asks for backstory on why the giants are loyal to him and to that we say 'read pre-Timeskip'

A double shield bash knocks the Topman to the bottom

Of all things disturbing about Saturn, seeing his mouth is probably the most disturbing

Much like Magellan, he fires pellets of poison at the trio

Luffy, resourceful and once more entering Toon Force, grabs a palm tree, eats it like a corn on a cob, and paints it into a baseball bat - complete with helmet - both adorned with Go-Mu (56) on it

Ayyyy batter batter swing batter!

Expecting the venom to just hit the Gorosei on the return, Luffy's surprised to see them explode like nukes

The opening is there to leave, but Luffy points out to Brogy that the Gorosei aren't beat, they can't die

Everyone's in a rush to get ready; Luffy, Dorry and Brogy are on the move, Sanji is still running and carrying Vegapunk's corpse, Jinbe is running and carrying Zoro's reluctant ass, everyone but Nami is pulling the Sunny back in position

But Bonney has 3 vice admirals waiting for her

Might be unwise to put yourselves between a long boat of giants and more giants though ngl

Mars finds York though, still trapped and now panicking because a monster is asking her where the room the transmission is coming from

Kizaru meanwhile is being tended to, but he claims his wounds 'run deep' - basically he's thrown in the towel

But through the flames it finally arrives, the giant mecha, unfazed by the elements, bigger than a giant, and it speaks

'Joy Boy, forgive me'

Jeez Joy Boy must have lived in an age of regrets because every time we meet something or someone from his time they have something they regret or are apologizing for; Zunesha, the Nefertari family, Joy Boy themselves, now the sleeping giant? I guess in a way it's kinda poetic, they lived in an era where their dreams couldn't come true, so they live in regret, in darkness, until the dawn rises once more.

As for the rest, I know some people will be miffed that Lucci survived, but it serves as a necessity for Mars to get where he's going, and like I said before he's practically out, even Jinbe says that the fight is already won and I doubt Jinbe would lie. When we first started this portion of the arc I was 100% expecting Luffy and co to have left the island by this chapter, but it seems more like it's the beginning of the final phase, the fights leading to escape much like Enies Lobby and Sabaody did. At the least it seems Mars is more occupied with the transmission than the Straw Hats but his priorities can change, plus he can still activate the Seraphim after them instead. V. Nusjuro - who like Ju Peter was quiet this chapter, given how they both got more shine in the previous one - is still circling the island too, which can still lead to a Sanji confrontation, but I'm more eager to see Franky hopefully get some shine against the Vice Admirals; Nine Chins et al don't seem to be the proper threat in terms of VAs though with Bluegrass and Doll hovering around, plus we did see Tosu get bonked by a giant in one hit so I'm not expecting them to go far.

Watching Luffy go full Toon Force is a joy though - pun intended - it's just delightful rubberhose creativity straight outta Tom & Jerry, even gnawing some wood into a baseball bat is classic stuff, so for me it works in comedy and nostalgia. I might die if he paints a tunnel only he and his friends can run through.

We didn't get much word on Vegapunk's transmission and we won't for quite some time now, but I would like to hope that Vegapunk's smart enough to know where the government would look first. I know there's theories that Dragon has the main signal but I feel like it'd have to exist somewhere more akin to a tree in the forest in order to piggyback off of government Den Den Mushi connectivity, if Dragon had that kinda access he probably would've used it more for intelligence. But it's not something I'm too attached towards being wrong about.

Hope Oda gets some rest and stays healthy, if there's one thing we as fans are known for it is indeed our ability to wait.
