2 heart event: Go into the local supermarket on a weekend at anytime and he’ll be there. He’ll talk to you about being new in town and how he understands that it can be stressful. He doesn’t have much to say but the next day, you’ll find a ‘welcome to pelican town’ letter in the mail with a jar of Matt’s honey :)

4 heart event: Go to the forest on a rainy day between 9am and 10pm and there you’ll Matt fishing in a pond! He’ll wave you over so you can stand under his umbrella with him “I can’t believe you’re out and about in weather like this! You’ll catch a cold!”....As if he isn’t also out and about in this weather lol. He’ll talk about his family and how he needed to get away from the hustle of the city. He’ll also praise you for your bravery to start fresh here in pelican town! :)

6 heart event: Go to the beach on a weekday between 9am and 6pm, there you’ll find Matt and his dog Kuma. He’ll invite you to stay and chat :) “Oh yeah Kuma loves the beach. I can’t stay out here too long today though, I didn’t put any sunscreen on! I was just in town to do some shopping. Do you like the beach?” If you say yes, he’ll agree and if you say no he’ll laugh and say he understands why. Either way you’ll gain friendship points! And you get to see Kuma run around on the beach :)

8 heart event: Matt invites you over to see his bees! Go to the forest between 9am and 6pm and Matt will take you back down his dirt path to his cabin. There you’ll be to see allllll of his bees! He has tons of bee houses set up around his yard :) you have the opportunity to help harvest honey with him. If you decline nothing happens but if you accept, your friendship level increases and he’s very happy about it “I’m glad you like them! Everyone else gets freaked out by bees. I think they’re nice. You just have to know how to handle them, that’s all”

10 heart event: You’re sent a letter! You’re instructed to meet Matt at the railroad tracks anytime between noon and 9pm. When you go, you’ll get a cutscene of Matt with a picnic basket, waiting at the train station. The two of you go into the city to watch a firework show! At the end of the night, you get the opportunity to kiss or hug him, both lead to an increase of friendship points :) he tells you about how much he enjoys your company and how you are such a good person. He can’t wait to see what your future holds

5. Favourite moment/chapter in a route?

Hhhhhhh. Oh no, there’s too many and I don’t want to put in the effort to remember them allllll.

Sirius when he gets the wrong drink from Luka and gets very tipsy. It’s so adorable and I was loving it the entire time.

Ray falling asleep immediately on MC’s lap. In fact, any time Ray falls asleep/is at risk of falling asleep is fantastic.

The Burnt Pie scene from Ray’s route with Fenrir, Luka, MC, and Seth. (”I wish Fenrir was burnt to a crisp.”)

Anything involving Jonah and Lancelot together. In fact, scratch that, any moments where the Red Army are being like a family. MC literally drags these men together and makes them grow closer, and it’s so lovely to see.

Involves Spoilers for MCSM season 2 and under

This is about my thoughts on Ivor in season 2, as well as some Harper stuff. Spoiler Alert. This text post involves a few theories, a recap, and some of my personal preferences, but feel free to imagine your own theories and speculations.

This post is really just me recapping stuff though.

So I decided to hippity-hop around the mcsm ivor tag and I saw some recurring phrases regarding Ivor,

“I hope he’s in season two!”

“Did he die?”

“What if he’s dead?!”

And to that I say, HE. IS. NOT. DEAD.

Even at the beginning of season 2, episode 1, Lukas even says “Once Ivor and Harper get back from their adventures…”

*whispering voice* at least he’s not dead not right now, I’m not letting down my guard Telltale. I went on the telltale website and read a little article the night before season two came out and I didn’t have any worries about Ivor. I still don’t.

Here, https://telltale.com/news/2017/07/welcome-back-to-beacontown-/ Okay, welcome back if you read it. It specifies (pretty vaguely) that Ivor and Harper’s “lab” has grown. Wow, I can hear the Ivarper shippers screaming in delight. I envy you all. *silently cries for Soren to show up*

That could be how his house now is just swimming in much more lava. Probably from not being kept up, and that Harper and him are out exploring. Now, when you start up season 2, you put in some of the choices you made in season 1. One of them was, Did you tear down Ivor’s house? If you did,

I think his house doesn’t show up when you walk around Beacontown (I don’t know how exactly because I kept his house. Because I love my son)

Now, that question could have just been if the house would show up in Beacontown OR if Ivor would have a grudge against you.

But here’s the one choice that got my attention, Did you support Harper?

Now, when I played episode 7, I accidentally didn’t support her and I felt kind of bad. But I wasn’t going to replay the entire episode so I just left it.

But then, all of a sudden, the question comes up, Did you support her? Now. Out of Allllll of the choices you made in season 1, this is one of the only choices that probably matters the most.

And in episode 1, we never even talk about Harper. Like at all. So, obviously, this choice is going to come up in a later episode.

So, if Ivor AND Harper have a lab together, that means that if Harper is going to come up, IVOR is going to come up.

A technological builder and an eccentric alchemist. They sound perfect platonic pals for each other.

Now here comes the theory that apparently is canon so it isn’t a theory, I think that Harper and Ivor are probably out in the portal hallway exploring worlds. Ivor as excitable as ever and Harper as a smart tour guide.

So, if you support Harper, she’ll have gone back to Crown Mesa and help rebuild.

If you don’t support Harper, she politely refuses to come to your world and instead says she will find her own world to thrive in.

Now, at the end of season 1, Ivor runs off with the atlas, and if you look in the trophy hall at the beginning of season 2, you still don’t see the flint and steel or the atlas.

Meaning that Ivor has not come back in YEARS. Axel even says that they’ve been gone for a long time.

So, after me talking about Ivor and then totally going off track, in conclusion, all I have to say is that Ivor is probably coming back. He’s long overdue for an appearance in their world. And Harper is more than likely to join with him. I mean, I headcannon that Ivor went out into the portal hallway to find Soren, but speaking from a more logical standpoint, he’s proabaly just doing what he loves.
