You’d been seeing this “challenge” on Tik Tok recently of girls crawling onto their boyfriend’s lap while they’re playing a PC game or a video game and capturing their reactions. You were on your fourth video in a row when you decided you wanted to put Michael up to the challenge. 

He’s in his gaming room anyway and he told you this morning he was playing Call of Duty so he could get back into it. You enter the room quietly, he’s sitting on the couch with his feet on the table, hair tucked underneath a beanie and his kitty ear headphones.

Knowing he’s in the zone you didn’t expect him to acknowledge you which was fine so you could set up your phone at the perfect angle on the small side table next to the couch so it was on him. You pressed record then made your way over to him. 

Making sure you weren’t in his way, you lifted your leg so you could climb onto his lap. Michael kept his sea glass eyes on the tv but opened his legs to accommodate you as you settled onto his lap. 

“Hi kitty,” he murmurs, shifting as you wrapped your arms underneath his shirt so you could rest them on the warm skin of his back. He sucks in a breath as your freezing fingers lay flat on his back. “Why’re you so cold?”

“The house is cold,” you murmur tucking your face in his neck. He’s so cuddly in his hooded sweatshirt.

“You should’ve told me, I’d turn the heat up,” he kisses the top of your head as you continue to settle in his lap. “You almost comfy?” he chuckles squeezing your sides with his forearms around you. 

You feel him place his hands and the controller in the middle of your back.

“Now I’m good,” you sigh, tickling your fingers on his smooth skin. “Is it okay I’m in here?”

“It’s always okay,” he snorts and presses multiple kisses to your hair. “I love when you cuddle me while I play, kitty. You’re my good luck charm.”

You smile into his neck listening to the soft taps of his controller and the constant noise from the TV. This was also your favorite thing, just spending time with him while he does his favorite downtime. 

Unfortunately, you forgot about your phone recording the whole thing while you sat cuddled on his lap for the next hour and a half, so you had to strip it down to only the first 20 seconds so you could share it on Tik Tok. 

Throughout that hour and a half, he’d make sure you were okay and comfortable, slipping out simple ‘I love yous’, and just having quiet conversations. This is how you both wind down and it’s a shared love.

@myfalsedevotion - Vicky is honestly one of those people who make you feel at ease the second you start chatting! She’s so bright and sweet, I want to hug her so much! I love that she’s as much of a hoe for malum as me and her fics are incredible. If you love malum and/or Cashton, I cannot stress enough how much you need to read her fics. You also need to befriend her immediately, you won’t regret it! Just please don’t hog her too much because I’d miss her!

@calumsdemons - This beautiful Laura was one of the first people I ever requested a mood board from. I loved her blog from the moment I laid eyes on it and I’m still every bit as in love with it now. She’s super talented at making mood boards and they’re just instantly recognisable to me as her work when I see them on my dash which is a talent in itself I think! She’s also a very sweet person and I love her a lot.
