☆ I had to let you know that I got a crush on you..

draco malfoy has a crush on you…

Draco is extremely arrogant so initially he would try and impress you.

Bragging about his home and the lavish, expensive possessions his parents can afford him. It’s not charming at all, it’s actually quite annoying.

He’d have Crabbe and Goyle help him play it up more. They would sing his praises incessantly anytime they saw you. One time you even let them convince you to go see him at Quidditch practice.

It was a nightmare.

While attempting a very daring feat on his broomstick that involved a midair roll, he fell. Luckily Madam Hooch was supervising and was able to save the poor wizard. Seeing you giggling at his misfortune definitely hurt his pride.

Eventually Blaise snitched, even though by then you’d already pieced it all together.

You decided one day at the end of one of his long bragging sessions to finally tell him you knew.

“and Draco” you say haltingly, before walking off making him turn to face you. “The bragging isn’t going to win me over, I prefer gentleman”

After that something finally clicked for the moron. From then on he was as charming as could be. Taking you out on dates, calling you “princess” and surprisingly treating you like one.

You were actually starting to like him

HP Characters Reacting To You Drawing Them

Warning: I didn't read the books, these are my headcanons and personal ideas for the characters. It's just for fun. :)

Harry:

-"Oh! Brilliant! Yeah, sure." -He is a bit shy, but flattered, very flattered -He sits in front of you, with a nervous smile, sometimes adjusting his glasses or hair -You assure him that he looks great and he relaxes a bit, sitting more comfortably -While you work he asks from time to time some questions about your drawing journey and listens closely to your answers -He thinks about how you're going to draw his scar, are you going to make it a key thing, or represent him in another way? -When you finish and show him your work he's astonished by your talent -"Wow! This is really good! I can keep it? Oh! Thanks!"

Ron:

-"You want to draw me? I don't think I'm that special." -He's a bit hesitant at first, he feels like he doesn't deserve attention, since he is not "The Chosen One" -But you make him believe otherwise -When sat down Ron is stiff, looking away from you, smiling nervously -You tell him that he looks great and he smiles a bit more confident -He suggests ideas on how you can present him, and he comes up with some sick propositions -Once you're finished he's so happy that he has something made by someone only for him -"Bloody hell, it's fantastic! You need to show your skill more often."

Hermione:

-"Draw me? Well if it makes you happy." -She pretends that it's nothing, she may look annoyed, but inside she cares -She fixes her hair or clothes when you aren't looking -She sits properly, legs together, hands on her lap, head slightly tilted, and a soft smile on her lips -She is mostly silent but asks you questions about what you are doing at a certain moment, she's curious -She's patient, giving you time to make your art perfect, she knows how hard it can be -She's very supportive when she sees your finished work -"This is lovely!"

Fred:

-"Oh yeah? So my beauty captured you this much?" -He's so happy about it but can help not to tease you -"Are you interested in a more intimate portrait?" -He sits in a confident way, taking a lot of space -He gives you ideas for the drawing, like how he could look good on a broom, or fighting You-Know-Who -After he's done with his jokes he lets you work in silence, just sometimes giggling to himself because of your focused expression -When you sometimes look up at him, he sends you a quick wink -He's very happy when you finish the drawing, he'll show it to his friends -"Thank you, dear, we can repeat this if you want."

George:

-"You got the right twin? Because I am not sharing this position." -He's more mature about this than his twin, but he has it in his nature to make some not-in-place comments -He gives you control, you decide how he sits or holds his hands -He's intrigued by how you work, but stays silent, just looking at you -He hums quietly, gently moving his head, when you tell him to stop moving he winks at you with a smirk, but completes your order -He's moved when he sees your done work, he feels appreciated for him -"Thank you, it's beautiful."

Ginny:

-"That's nice of you." -She doesn't ask a lot of questions, just lets you do your work -She's happy to pose for you, it makes her feel seen -She smiles when you accidentally make a silly face but doesn't point it out -When you're finished she takes a while to admire your work -"It's amazing, thank you."

Luna:

-"I would love to, sitting can be fun too." -She's very calm, listens to your instructions, and is very patient -She asks you how you got to draw, or what inspires you to create, she's nice to have conversations with -She has her glasses on her nose, sitting with her knees to her chest -When you're finished she's very happy -"Oh, it's magnificent. I am so happy to keep it."

Neville:

-"Me? Are you sure?" -He's very self-conscious, and thinks you're doing it out of pity, but you assure him it's not like that -He's very nervous, he doesn't know what to do with his hands, you have to guide him a little bit -He thinks he looks bad at every angle, but you tell him that everything is perfect and that makes him feel a bit more confident -He is so grateful for this art piece, he keeps it close to him at all times -"Wow, that is so pretty, thank you Y/N."

Draco:

-"Why? For what?" -He doesn't feel comfortable with this and is suspicious you have bad intentions -But his pride wins over him and he lets you draw him -He sits proudly with a serious look on his face -He says nothing, just watches you, expecting your work will be not as high as his expectations -But he's shocked when he sees your done work -He keeps it in his room, away from others -"Well that's not as bad as I thought it will be."

Tom:

-"I can agree to that." -He sees this as an opportunity to capture his image for future -He wears his best suit, rings on his fingers, and in his hand a dark book -He sits with his head high, one leg on the other, leaning on the armchair -He doesn't talk but nods his head in approval when you stop drawing for a moment -He's very satisfied with the result and keeps the drawing well hidden -"That is good, thank you for your time."

• you want to go to hogsmeade? He'll pay for whatever you want (boy is rich, don't forget that)

• he'll hold your hand the entire time to hogsmeade

• or he'll have a hand on on your waist/hip

• don't wanna go to hogsmeade?

• that's okay too!!

• he'll take you back to his dorm and hold you

• honestly he probably uses you as an excuse to not study or do his work sometimes

•though he will deny it if you ever bring it up

• he just wants to spend time with you! what's so wrong with that? right...?

• he might even let you try his glasses on if you ask lol

• he loves to make you laugh

• the jokes between you two is so wholesome as well

• he'll get all blushy if you call him cute too

• and deny it ofc and call you cute instead

Hermione:

• you + her = library

• just kidding... Well, not entirely.

• she definitely would love to show you her favorite books! (if you two have the free-time)

• she loves to read to you.

• and if the two- you weren't caught up on school work, she'd be there to help you.

•maybe she'll even cut you some slack if you haven't been feeling well lately.

• Besides that, you two might go hangout at Hogsmeade (she likes the three broom sticks)

• again, whenever she is free... she can't have her grades- or yours! Being interfered with.

• she may love you, but she also wants to make sure both of your education is well taken care of.

• she'll want to share all of her favorite places with you, that includes the library.

• it makes her happy that she can trust you can take you to those private locations

• once she trusts you enough she will take you to all of her favorite locations when she was a kid

• she may even make it a whole special day planned out for the two of you

Draco:

• this lil shit-

• he will presist for the longest time that he doesn't want to spend time with you

• for you to get him to hang out with you, you have to make him think it is your idea-

• and plead with him.

• "reluctantly" he will agree...

• be aware he will totally be complaining the whole time

• don't worry, he'll shut his mouth once you hold his hand

• he doesn't want to admit it but he secretly likes it (shhhh-)

• if you take him to the three broom sticks he will complain at first

• since he is so use to having some "actual" food

• he WILL be the one paying for the two of you though (so that's a plus)

• if you even suggest going anywhere near the forbidden forest-

• he will refuse

• he can't go be getting himself dirty.

• plus he has some bad memories associated with the forbidden forest (and dat bloody chicken!)

• so no Hagrid's hut or forbidden forest.

• if you two are looking for some more quiet time he will take you back to his dorm room where you two can just hold eachother.

• he doesn't want anyone to see you two in public or even to see him being so lovey dovey in front of others

Cedric:

• Loves holding your hand

• kissing your cheeks, head, hand

• he is a huge romantic!

• if you like more private locations then he'll cuddle you in his dorm room (he'll even sneak you in some food if you're hungry)

• but if you enjoy more outdoors or just wanna be social!

• He will take you to the three broom sticks (he will not let you pay)

• he will also take you to honeydukes! if you like sweets, he will be getting your favorites

• he will make this a whole day planned just for the two of you

• wether it is because the stress of school has been weighing on your shoulders

• or just because the two of you haven't had some time together lately

• he might even introduce you to his friends some time

• just so you two can hang out together more often and be apart of the same friend groups

Luna:

• You guys would totally be hanging out on the edge of the forbidden forest (or in it)

• basking in the sunlight and hanging out with the theastrals

• if you can't see the theastrals then she will tell you all about them.

• she might even take you to some other magical creature that you can see

• i swear all of these magical creatures just automatically love her (does that also make us a magical creature?)

• if you guys happen to be not be in the forbidden forest, you'll be hanging out next to the black lake

• sitting together as you talk about how your days have been

• if it is a special day or you guys just don't wanna hang outside

• she'll hangout with you inside the castle! she'll even point out the nargles floating around in people's ears

• not yours though (you're too pure to have nargles, I guess?)

• though, she prefers nature and the creatures

• if you two get hungry in sometime between then you guys will go sneak some food

• or you could just head to hogsmeade and grab something to eat there

• she also likes to hold your hand and walk beside you!

• and don't be afraid to tell her she is cute!! she'll thank you

Acts of service:

He would just love when you make sure he takes care of himself. He feels as if you are taking care of him, and loves it. He would always look at you lovingly when you give him his daily snack.

Quality time:

He would just be okay with you laying your head on his lap while he talks to Ron about Quidditch. Occasionally asking questions, while they answer. He would look down at you, making sure your hair is out of your face.

Ron Weasley:

Physical Touch & gift giving!

Physical touch:

Once he asked you out, he always tried to touch in some way. Thighs touching, him bringing you to lean into him, Pinky holding, anything. He would also get really jealous if anyone outside of his trusted friend group touches you. Him grabbing you while you are talking to the person that is touching you.

Gift giving:

As he always receives hand me downs, this man always will enjoy a random gift from you. Even if it is just a rock that you found that you were reminded of him.

Hermione Granger:

I feel like she would just love when someone does something for her with out asking. Even if it is as little as making sure she gathers all her stuff for her next class. Maybe bringing her snacks on her long nights of studying.

Luna Lovegood:

She would love when you wander around the castle with her. Going outside and seeing all the creature. She would hold her hand every inch of the way, seeing she just wants you to be close to her.

Neville Longbottom:

Neville is obviously a nervous bean, even after he gained his confidence. This man still gets shy when his person calls him cutes names and such. Reassuring him constantly, would also come along with it, he would just love and appreciate it.

Draco Malfoy:

Acts of Service:

He will always enjoy people taking care of him. Remember when he drug out his arm being hurt? (I would too to be honest) He loves when people do things for him. Lunch making, cutting the correct sizes of ingredients, straightening his tie. He loves it all.

Physical Touch:

He will always find a way to touch you. Even if it completely humiliates you. Little to as tripping you, and him catching you, while you two were walking. Then he just has his arms around you, looking smug as usual that he got his way.

Words of Affirmation:

Most people don't think this but I do. I think his father doesn't really care about his feeling as parents should. So he always need those words to boost him. The way he acts around people is just a front he put up because his father's reputation.

Fred Weasley:

Physical touch & Words of Affirmation!

Physical touch:

We all know he is always touching you, bit it's to the extreme. He's always touching your hips, your thighs or your ass. He does not give a damn if anyone is witnessing either. He would just look at them while doing so, as if saying back off.

Words of Affirmation: now this man is VERY territorial. Be will make everyone KNOW that you are his. He will always be whispering in his ear that you are his just to hear you confirm it in a whimper.

George Weasley:

Words of Affirmation & Quality Time!

Words of Affirmation:

You whispering in his ear that you are his, while he's working on his and his twin's new inventions. He would just smirk back at you, while you cling on to him. You are on his back, like a koala watching what he is doing. Whispering "maybe you should do this" "oh yes, that would be great" and stuff like that.

Quality Time:

As he is always doing things with his twin, he would always enjoy you getting along with his twin. He also would enjoy you coming with ideas for pranks. He taught the ways, and sometimes he thinks you can't get any better, but everyday you prove him wrong.

Hiiii!! May I perhaps ask for some fluff headcanons for Hermione, Luna & Draco with an s/o who like, found a hippogriff egg and now have a baby war bird to take care of? The little one just follows their darling around like a lost puppy all the time and is pretty attached to it's owner, obviously making them a major part of the said character’s lives too, what would their thoughts be on this?

Also, Draco Sweetie, looking at you rn. Better not be treating my baby the same way you treated Buckbeak, I WILL kick you in the shins ☺️👊🏻

notes: the way that I teared up reading love quotes to pick for this lol. anyway shoutout to anyone who can make you feel this way bc they deserve it

"I love you." The words rang in your ears and settled in the warmest, softest part of your body and soul. It was the feeling of riding rollercoasters and having your body anticipate the first drop but still be shocked by the thrill of it happening. It's only three words. The phrase had been spoken to you — around you— for 20 years, but hearing it with your body pressed against theirs meant something more. You'd read a million romances and watched thousands of hopeless pairings find their way to each other. You'd closed your eyes a hundred times and imagined a future with the 'perfect' someone. All of it was sweet and romantic, but this was better.

You'd fallen for others in the past, taken part in one-sided sob stories more times than you'd like to admit, and ached for love. You've run to catch falling stars and been willing to touch the sun's core for people other than them. That was infatuation, but this was love.

The feeling of being in love with them is unexplainable in words. It's closing your eyes when songs that remind you of them comes on, and then, you play a film of memories of them. It's watching a movie a hundred times before but getting excited for the big reveal because they've never gotten to experience it. It's the shivers you get when you step out of a warm house on a cold, dewy morning. Being in love with them is living the same way you have for 20 years, but now you cry at love songs because you relate to them. An anthology of experiences was the closest you could get; even then, something wasn't there.

Up close and in the warmth of home, the two of you are mundane and far from sappy rom-com couples and their grand gestures. It's being too lazy to make yourself food, so they make it for you. Your relationship is knowing they need time to themselves and giving them space, even though it makes you pout a little. It's 'have fun at work, honey' kisses, saving the last spoonful of ice cream, stealing glances at them when driving, and nagging them playfully. The best part is when you are against them, and when you look up to stare at them lovingly, they're already staring down at you.

Being in love with them was being in love with your best friend.

he’s irrational, and insecure but he loves you, he’s just not too sure he deserves your love in return.

Ron had dumped you abruptly in his dorm room just two nights ago. His complete inability to communicate his feelings left you wondering what went wrong. But hey, you weren't about to let that get you down. His loss.

Instead of wallowing in post-breakup sadness, you decided to go to a party, hosted by the other slytherin. And let's be real, part of the reason was to get under Ron's skin. You couldn't help but notice how his jaw clenched when he caught wind of you telling Blaise you'd be there. It felt satisfying to know you were pushing his buttons.

The party had a dimly lit atmosphere, with the music blaring in the background. It wasn't your usual crowd, but surprisingly, you were enjoying yourself. Padma and Parvati had convinced you to dance, while Cho made sure you stayed away from Ron. Everything was going well until you found yourself dancing with Blaise.

Your close bond with Blaise had always been a sore spot for Ron. Despite Blaise's attractive appearance, his mysterious and quiet nature didn't align with your preferences. You weren't engaging in any inappropriate behavior, just dancing as friends. However, the moment Ron caught sight of that, a tinge of jealousy began to creep into his chest once again.

Ron decided he should leave and bumped into you and Blaise in the process.

"Watch where you're going, you can see yeah?" Blaise says.

"What's your problem?" you say, chiming in after him.

Ron just walks away, you rolled your eyes and followed behind him, leaving Blaise standing confused. When you exit the Slytherin common room behind him, you call his name.

"What, y/n?"

"Seriously, what is your problem? You broke up with me."

He rolls his eyes and scoffs. "I don't have a problem. We just weren't working out."

"My god, grow up Ronald," you say.

He gives you a confused look and you continue talking. "Why won't you tell me what I did wrong? I love you." you say pleadingly

At the end of your words, you can hear yourself start to cry, and he can hear it too. He just looks at you, nothing, no response.

"Fine." You turn to leave, but he grabs your arm.

"Wait," he says. "I'm sorry. I just...I was jealous."

You look at him, and you can see the hurt in his eyes. "Of who?"

“Blaise, and everyone else who flirts with you. You are beautiful and beyond intelligent. You deserved better, and now you’re free to find it.”

•ron and hermione know you exist, but you aren’t part of the trio. you’re more harry’s secret crush that is not a secret at all. they honestly don’t trust you at first, slytherin stereotypes and all that, but they come around

meeting luna

•met on the hogwarts express the year she joined, your second year, and latched onto her instantly

•made sure people didn’t give her a tough time, standing behind her like a guard dog if anyone gave her shit

•quietly helping her find all of her things when they went missing

•luna was your main friend, your meetings with harry fewer between as his own cursed life heated up

•but he missed you

they met each other

•in compliance to book canon, they meet in a train carriage, as ron and hermione are prefects. you’re there too, and if he looks surprised to see you, he doesn’t show it

•harry is struck with two realisations

•the first, he has not properly talked to you in a while. to think you were the person who really got him through the adjustment of hogwarts and... well, everything. and you’d drifted so fast. he resolved to rectify that.

•the second, you and the ditzy blonde next to you were so very pretty, and he was suddenly very aware of his tongue

•he stammered a lot that first time meeting you together, before reprimanding himself. bigger issues

•but he did reconnect with you, and in turn, your new best friend, luna. through dumbledore’s army, the three of you were spending a lot of time together - he made sure nobody gave you crap for being the only slytherin there

•after meetings, you two would stay and help him tidy

how it started

•it was messy. in a nice way, sort of

•harry asked you out on the day you’d been planning on asking out luna, but you’d found yourself saying yes on instinct

•“yes! wait, no-” “oh, that’s fine...” “i mean yes, but... i was about to ask out luna.” “oh.” “maybe... she could come too.” you suggested it, harry considered it. maybe his heart didn’t just race around her because you were usually near

•luna was, simply, into it. it wasn’t a complex issue for her. she liked you, she liked harry.

•it was a nice start

the war

•harry didn’t want you two to come horcrux hunting. he wanted you safe, and dumbledore ordered he’d only take ron and hermione with him

•you and luna were supposed to return to the deteriorating hogwarts

•but dumbledore had given you the same secret mission he gave every slytherin kid that wasn’t a blood supremacist. everyone in a position he could abuse

•you became a spy. luna didn’t ask you to stay, she just held you tightly the night before you left, afraid to be alone but not willing to hold you back

•you weren’t based in malfoy manor, nor were you high enough in the ranks to hear about any plans. so you didn’t know luna had been snatched from the hogwarts express

•harry noticed neither of you were on the map. he noticed neither of you were at hogwarts. being targets, he hoped you’d both gone to ground. didn’t let himself consider another possibility

•but the night harry arrived at the malfoy manor, so did you. both of you discovered then, luna was downstairs

•with silent communication, you hatched the plan

•you were present for hermione’s torture, you held her as soon as everyone had left the room, assuring her you were on her side

•once dobby was buried, harry lost his temper. you, him, and luna were upstairs, but the shouting could be heard throughout the house

•he said you never should’ve left luna. you were blaming yourself for the same thing and couldn’t help but lash out

•“i’m not the only one that left on dumbledore’s orders, harry.” and you were right, but neither of you would back done

•out of the dynamic, you two could clash, and luna was always the middleman. soothing you both, reminding you how much you loved each other, as well as her

•you two held each other when harry’s body was brought forth, and he had to force himself to not twitch at your screams

•but happy reunited ending and fred never died🤭

epilogue

•it took time after the war, to heal

•harry was loaded with guilt and pain, he pushed you away, but you never let him get far

•you had a dark mark. you burned it off, but the scars remained.

•luna was the best at coping with the trauma, but she had her falls too

•but the three of you got through.

•luna surrounded your house with her magical creatures, which harry and his riches indulged her with

•she would go away for spells of time, looking for creatures, elated at her success when she returned, but also elated to see you two again

•harry’s job was dangerous, but you had never loved him for his sense of safety

•you pursued your love for classics, more in the muggle world, but making magical crossovers occasionally

•the rooms of your house were a constant muddle of your careers, passions, hobbies

•a beautiful muddle of three unique people with so much love for each other in their hearts

•luna has definitely painted a mural in every room

•birthdays are always celebrated in the most unique ways, as are any other milestones

•newspapers are always wanting interviews out of the lot of you. sometimes you say yes, sometimes you say no, sometimes luna stares at them blankly until they go away

•your nieces/nephews/own children if that’s something you decided to do, absolutely love you guys. your house is so interesting to them, you all love them so much

•harry does most of the cooking because you just can’t and luna tries to put ingredients in things that ingredients don’t go in for ‘science’

•your home is a blend of magic and muggle. your library is almost completely muggle, except for the fact it’s stored in a cupboard on the first floor, which opens up into a full scale...library

•you have healthy communication, like any functioning relationship needs, though things can get lost in translation

•like the time harry was running late for work and asked luna to put some toast on for him, while he was in the shower. he dried off and shrugged on his blazer, only for two slices of buttered toast to fall from the inside

•or the time luna asked you to feed her bowtruckles while she was away, but you fed them human food the whole time (they were fine, don’t worry)

•but overall, you’re a solid group of unconditional love and support
