             𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐏𝐔𝐑𝐏𝐋𝐄  𝐎𝐅  𝐀𝐋𝐔𝐍𝐄'𝐒  𝐄𝐘𝐄𝐒  instantly  searches  for  someone  to  rescue  her,  but  today's  been  awfully  quiet.  heartsteel  members  do  have  their  own  flats,  of  course,  but  this  particular  apartment  is  rented  for  them  all  to  live  in.  great  for  pr,  too  —  to  record  them  messing  around  all  the  time.  and  it's  not  even  staged.

yet  today,  there  was  only  her,  aphelios  and  yone,  and  she  didn't  even  know  the  last  ordered  food,  and  if  he  did  —  why  not  with  the  delivery?  or  why  didn't  he  ask  phel  or  lunie  herself  to  pick  it  up?

interesting.

alune's  not  complaining.  she's  a  huge  fan  of  true  damage,  albeit  never  expressed  so  to  yone;  never  asked  for  an  autograph,  nor  for  a  meeting  with  the  other  band.  now,  she's  face  to  face  with  their  producer.  but  not  only  that.

beats?  aphelios  makes  beats.  great  ones.  but  yasuo  is  a  legend.  it's  a  completely  different  level.  it's...  it's...

she  stands  there,  mouth  slightly  agape,  with  the  eyes  of  a  deer  caught  in  the  headlights.  yone  said  he'll  be  back  shortly.  phel  is  taking  a  nap.  entertaining  the  guest  is  entirely  on  her.  console  in  one  hand  (animal  crossing  on  phel's  basic  coloured  switch),  she  has  taken  the  food  filled  bag  with  the  other.

the  kitchen  is  in  the  open  space  in  their  living  room,  so  alune  takes  a  step  back  and  fully  lets  yasuo  in.

❝  do  you,  like,  want  to  eat  with  us?  ❞  she  asks,  shyly.  ❝  i—  i  don't  know  how  much  yone  ordered.  i  didn't  know  he  ordered  food  at  all.  but  you  can  have  mine,  i—if  you  want.  ❞

the  little  confession  is  said  quieter  and  almost  breathlessly.  oh  moon.  OH  MOON.  yasuo  is  h e r e.  he  came  in.  he  follows  her  to  the  kitchen.

she  feels  her  heartbeat  quicken.

mastering  balance  between  normal  and  magical  life  came  to  lunie  naturally  due  to  both  devotion  and  expirience.  it's  not  for  everyone  though,  and  the  senior  is  aware  —  with  a  gentle  smile,  the  older  girl  nods.

❝  i'm  sure  you  got  this,  ❞  she  says  and  her  words  do  sound  genuine,  ❝  if  not,  i'm  free  next  week  as  well.  i  don't  mind  helping  you  with  homework  —  nor  with  other  duties.  ❞

her  tone  suggest  guardian  trainings  also.  it's  almost  like  with  lux  and  ahri,  the  latter  offering  her  guidance  —  laced  with  sarcasm.  alune  is  willing  to  train  without  that  little  spice,  refusing  to  add  more  stress  into  the  younger  guardian's  life.

upon  the  next  question,  alune  ponders;  takes  a  second  to  think  about  the  right  answer  —  both  full  of  wisdom  and  comfort  —  sips  on  her  tea  to  buy  some  time.

               𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐒  𝐎𝐅  𝐌𝐀𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀  𝐃𝐘𝐄𝐃  𝐇𝐀𝐈𝐑  𝐀𝐑𝐄  𝐆𝐋𝐔𝐄𝐃  𝐓𝐎  𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐄𝐋  𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐄𝐑'𝐒  𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐃  𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇  𝐒𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐓.  alune  sits  on  the  floor  of  the  dance  studio  she  and  kaisa  spent  last  few  hours  in,  panting  —  she  wipes  her  face  with  her  shirt,  feeling  her  whole  body  tremble.

it's  a  blessing  they're  busy  —  otherwise  they  wouldn't  shut  up  about  lunie's  health.

used  to  working  in  the  industry  for  a  longer  while,  meeting  someone  like  k/da's  members  was  refreshing  and  surprising.  every  other  dancer  would  await  some  way  of  compensation  for  the  effort,  but  kai'sa  sounds  genuine  when  she  says  alune's  companionship  was  enough  gratification.

a  smile  grows  on  flushed  face  of  the  pianist.  it's  heartwarming  how  welcoming  kai'sa  is.  the  excitement  grows  with  the  dancer's  compliments,  and  alune  just  has  to  ask  to  make  sure  the  other  means  it.

❝  you  think  so?  really?  i  never  danced  before,  honest!  ❞  she  laughs,  softly,  covering  her  mouth  with  the  palm  of  her  hand.  ❝  i  would  love  to  do  it  again,  it  was  so  much  fun.  you're  such  a  great  teacher.  thank  you  for  being  so  patient  with  me.  ❞

knowing  that  physical  activities  often  take  longer  for  her  to  grasp  the  basics  of,  she  expresses  her  gratitude  with  both  words  and  the  look  of  admiration  clear  in  the  purples  of  her  eyes.
