On Goblins, Short Story

With the day's work completed, a human sat down in a study that seemed like it mixed a greenhouse and research area. The robe adorning their body was well worn, the results of having nothing else to don for several winters. The labour was difficult, but always fulfilling when the herbal crop came in and the locals' needs were met.

Plucking a large feather quill -from a griffon! extra durable! What a find!-and dipping it into an ink well, the researcher picked up where they had left off in the weeks prior.

*Goblins are oft shown having noses that are either hooked or entirely bulbuous, but these tendencies in depiction are the result of skewed versions of events. The idea that goblin noses must be lengthy, hooked or bulbous is based on a series of our myths depicting human evildoers with those features. The authors of those work are city folk who have never been exposed to any goblins, not even the occasional merchant or minstrel.*

Clouds parted through the glass skylight that sat above the writer's chair and desk, slowly beginning to illuminate the area beyond the extent of the light provided by their measly candle.

*Indeed, the noses on goblins vary wildly depending upon the genetic variety and stock available. Most have either wide or flattened noses, apparently. Though quite a number also have small ones that are rounded off and decidedly cute. We are lucky that the latter tend to come from goblin cultures and breeds that do not ransack our land.*

Their eyebrows wrinkled as they added, *though a fair few are thieves, unable to concieve the notion of property.*

Continuing on, *Finally, I will write on the subject of weregoblins. To put it bluntly, the idea that goblins bite other folk and transform them into a kind of lycanthromorphic werebeast with goblinoid attributes is absurd.*

Pale white rays filtered through the glass dome that topped the greenhouse study, coating the writer in their gaze. A visible ruffling took place, something moving erratically under the robes, and then the writer lowered their face as the ears began to change.

*...Such narratives of transforming into goblins or goblin-likes are unsupported and have no documents to claim otherwise...*

Elongation in the ears occurred, the skin cells greening to turn the face's conflection into a colour someplace between mucus and leaves. They formed a wide smile with their mouth, which was freshly changed.

*...And no documents ever will.*

(both have suits but Mol's is currently falling apart somewhat and waiting to be remade. however they will, as per tradition, make an appearance at trans pride in july)

also relating to Shuck, I'm going to the black shuck festival in august, which is a thing that exists. I thought I was going alone and I can't solo suit in Shuck bc the vision inside the suit is complete ass, so I was like. fuck it. I'll make a new toony suit with better vision. except surprise my bestie managed to get the time off work to come with me! and I've already bought the materials, so stay tuned for when I take Two Shucks to the festival and meet the Official Black Shuck and have a category 5 autism moment about the whole thing

i dooooo i have a whole LIST of info! its more notes on how i play the game and act in it but what is a sona if not urself but theres some other fun things abt them too.

-uses the colors yellow (lime if yellow isnt available) and sometimes pink

-when wearing pink they go by peach

-wears the plant sprout (occasionally flowerpot/halo/hockey mask)

-about 6′2 or so?? maybe shorter?

-very friendly! maybe too much so

-always makes sure that she can vouch for someone but often does not have an alibi themself

-wanders to secluded areas by herself (and is promptly killed)

-doesn’t really like being imposter but the thrill riles them up

-crewmates that say ‘hiiiii :)’

-obsessed with stickers and its how she keeps up with her tasks (sticks them on the walls near the tasks)

-human probably??

-hard to explain but its like theyre so normal they circle back to not normal

-will survive just fine with little oxygen

-originally from mira-hq ,chills in greenhouse even though they don’t often get the time to

-trusts/forgives people very easily and when they get murdered theyre ultimately okay with it because they know the imposters just doing their job

-crewmate: usually killed/voted off first, task oriented (ignores sabotages other than lights unless its necessary)

-imposter: hardly kills when they do someone usually walks in immediately after and sees or they just get found out late/admit to being imp

dominic swain regularly meets with mike for dates but they're always really bad because mikes like insane and says stupid shit and dominics like mike can you please just tell me what you want to order for desert i promise ill look at the sky with you later [completely unaware mike is a monster with sky powers] however once he finds out that mike is a monster with sky powers he absolutely refuses to use the word avatar because it makes him think of the blueman movie and instead elects to call his boyfriend quote “a sky wizard” and sometimes “an evil sky wizard” if mike doesn't do the dishes or something

i havent actually played any of the fnaf games lol 😔 ive only seen ppl play them and now im watching a playthrough of fnaf 6 cuz i have never seen anyone play this one :> my fav is sister location !! every night u have to do smth different (from what i remember) and i think thats rly cool its doesnt get too repetitive like the other ones and also its the game that got me into fnaf Again after i kinda lost interest in it after ppl started calling it cringe
