Relationship fun facts: ❤️Jake X Lyra💛

1. Lyra met Jake when she accidentally missed her bus going home when it was pouring down rain. Having cat like tendencies, Lyra hates being caught in downpours. He was the only one willing to take her to her home city (she worked in one city but lived in another at the time) and she paid him handsomely for it. Also brought him extra towels for getting the backseat of his taxi wet.

2. Hated the silence so kinda talked his ear off that first ride. He tried to keep up looking grumpy and a hard ass but it was HARD. She was cute, funny, outgoing...basically everything Jake Lockley wasn't. But oddly he kinda liked it. And then he spotted the cheetah in his backseat and knew he was a goner (thinking "Dios mio, she's like me" o.o)

3. After about the third or fourth ride, they kept looking for each other. Neither will admit this to one another but they'd tell anyone who asked, thinking nothing of it. It was just business...right?

4. Khonshu was NOT happy about learning that Jake was essentially doing favors for his ex's avatar. Mafdet was at first not happy about seeing her ex's avatar in the driver's seat, but she thought it was amusing (and she's petty as hell at the thought of her bitter ex driving her around) so encouraged the relationship...just to piss Khonshu off. Smart? Perhaps not. But it made her feel GREAT!

5. Jake was the one who asked Lyra out (note: the pigeon was NOT happy about this, and Mafdet was smug as hell) and their first date was at a sushi place. It was something they both enjoyed, and again Lyra led most of the conversation.

6. Neither of them knew of each others hero identities but worked together on a couple missions. She only ever met Marc and Steven as Moon Knight and had no idea that Jake was a part of their system.

7. Jake and Lyra made themselves official after their fourth date, which involved Jake breaking them into a still closed ice skating rink for a quiet and romantic evening on the ice lit by Christmas lights (he got inspiration for it from her favorite Christmas move, Last Christmas).

8. Jake told her about his condition shortly after that, and he was afraid Lyra would freak out or end things. Life with him wasn't going to be easy, and he wanted to give her a chance to bow out if she wanted to with no hard feelings. But Lyra admitted she loved him, all of him, and wanted this to work. She understood why he was the way he was, as she came from a similar background.

9. Lyra took actually meeting his alters very well. She knew them as Moon Knight and Mr. Knight, but getting to know them as people was interesting, as it was for the boys learning about her outside of the Lady Karma persona. Telling Layla was a whole other story, and at first she didn't take it well, but Lyra refused to let them give up their marriage for her and Jake. Of course Jake was hesitant but ultimately agreed with Lyra's reasoning. As selfish as he wanted to be, he couldn't do that to Marc.

10. Fights between them are rare but are kinda comedic. They go back and fourth between Spanish, English, and German. One of them will say something wrong or mess up the grammar in their other tongue and they'll stop the argument to correct them (gently of course, no matter how serious the argument is, learning a new language is hard peeps), which actually normally stops any disputes. It's actually amusing for the others to watch.

11. They have a lot of nicknames and titles for one another. Lyra calls Jake Mein Falke (my falcon, as Khonshu was depicted as a falcon in mythology), my knight (sometimes calls him Mein Ritter), or simply love or Liebe. Jake will call her by names in his tongue too, such as: mi gueparda (my cheetah), gatita (kitten, if he's feeling...extra affectionate), mi Reina (my queen), or, like her, simply love or mi amor. They get really extra about it

12. They did have a very small wedding ceremony. Nothing legally binding, but Lyra wanted a traditional Egyptian wedding. Steven and Layla actually worked together to plan it, as they knew more about ancient Egyptian customs than Lyra and Jake did. While it wasn't legally binding, since it was done in traditional Egyptian custom, in the eyes of the gods Lyra and Jake are married. Tawaret, who was super happy about this, was there to witness it and make it official. Again, Khonshu was not happy and wanted to object, but the other gods basically told him to shut the hell up and let his avatar have this ONE thing to make him happy. He sulked the entire ceremony and reception afterwards....

That was Lyra's world and her delight. She was a coarse and greedy little savage, for the most part. But she always had a dim sense that it wasn't her whole world; that part of her also belonged in the grandeur and ritual of Jordan College; and that somewhere in her life there was a connection with the high world of politics represented by Lord Asriel. All she did with that knowledge was to give herself airs and lord it over the other urchins. It had never occurred to her to find out more.

365 Marvel Comics Paper Cut-Out SuperHeroes - One Hero, Every Day, All Year…

September 28th - Thundra

The powerful heroine known as Thundra heralds from the alternate reality of Earth 715.  On this earth, a terrible world war occurred in which the use of biological weapons resulted in the sterilization of roughly 90% of all women on the planet.  In the decades following this war, those remaining fertile women became the leaders of the world and all men were subjected as laborers and breeding stock.   

Thundra was born through genetic engineering and selective breeding practices, thus bestowed with tremendous strength, resiliency and size.  Trained rigorously from early childhood, Thundra would become the greatest warrior of United Sisterhood Republic of the Central American Empire.  

Thundra’s world was invaded by the extra-dimensional forces of Machus.  Led by the warlord Mahkizmo, this army sought to liberate the men of Earth 715 and instill an oppressive patriarchy.  Thundra battled Mahkizmo and nearly defeated him, yet in the process the device that allowed Machus’ forces to traverse between dimensions malfunctioned and Thundra was accidentally transported to Earth 616.  

Marooned in this strange new realm, Thundra was manipulated by The Wizard into acting as a member of his Frightful Four.  She accepted the villain’s offer in that it afforded her the opportunity to battle The Thing of The Fantastic Four, whom Thundra believed represented the strongest man of this new world (and thus a challenge worthy of her).  And yet she quickly found that The Wizard lacked honor and that The Thing was a hero.  As such, she switched sides and aided The Fantastic Four in defeating the Wizard and his Frightful Four.  

The Fantastic Four then aided Thundra in defeating Mahkizmo and ending the war between her world and the forces of Machus.  Thundra chose to return with the Fantastic Four to Earth 616 in search of further adventures.  Some time later, she would return to her original world to fend off the invasion of Arkon and his army of Polemachus.  The conflict ended when Thundra and Arkon married, creating a union between the two realms.   

Some time thereafter, Thundra battled the Hulk so to extract from him a sample of his genetic material.  She succeeded and used it to create a daughter named Lyra whom Thundra planned to become her successor as the new leader of United Sisterhood Empire.  

Thundra first appeared in the pages of Fantastic Four Vol. 1 #129 (1972).

Okay I am back with more picrews. My boyfriend said to make Hank's kids and Bruce's kids so here they are.

Unfortunately, this picrew doesn't have tattoos or gray skin, so here is my attempts at Skaar (both in an out of Hulk form, Hiro-Kala (with the scar on the wrong side of his face), and Lyra.

And for Hank, we have my best approximation of Ultron, William, and Nadia. I also made Vision even though he is technically Hank's 'grandson'

1. Lyra’s favorite color is a deep royal purple, because it reminds her of Naboo and her sister. Lyanna’s favorite color is red, which seems counterintuitive, but it’s not a Lannister red. it’s the red of the leaves on the Winterfell weirwood tree, the red of Robb and Sansa’s hair.

2. ooooooo i love this question!! i actually think Kara and Edme would get along pretty well— they both have similar seafaring backgrounds and similar ideas about loyalty that i think would make them click. i think Emmalee and Ceara would absolutely be the ultimate team up in regards to power level. if we’re talking about like pitched battles, Aemma and Lyanna would kick anybody’s ass. i think Lyra would drive Wasp absolutely insane. and i think Ceara would resent Edme, so like maybe not hate but pretty close.

3. THE WESTERN AU AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH but yes anyways i think Lyanna gets Ned’s hat after Littlefinger delivers Ned’s body to Catelyn. in the Western AU Catelyn doesn’t leave Winterfell right away, so Littlefinger delivers the body to Winterfell. Catelyn is super distraught and can barely even handle Littlefinger so Lyanna ends up being the one to go out and talk to him and take the casket back. Littlefinger probably lies to Lyanna and tells her that he stole the hat but he couldn’t save the guns, when in reality Tywin let Littlefinger take the hat back because it didn’t mean anything to him symbolically. Lyanna does end up with Robb’s weapons belt and one of his revolvers! Robb leaves them behind when he goes to the Red Wedding, so Lyanna has them at Winterfell. i think dark!Lyanna would keep both the hat and the belt/gun, but she wouldn’t wear them anymore. dark!Lyanna has gotten to a point where she knows that what she’s done would be considered unforgivable by both her father and her brother, but she doesn’t feel sorry for the things she’s done. so i think she’d respect their memory by not wearing the hat and belt, but i don’t think she would be able to get rid of them.

Welcome one and all to the lair of Lady Karma! Whether someone's wronged you, or committed blasphemy against the gods, Lady Karma has your back!

Although...she can be a bitch at times.

Anyhow...before we go any further let's lay down some blog rules shall we?

1. No Fandom drama. I dont tolerate that crap. However if you wanna vent about Canon or whatever feel free to message me and I'll listen.

2. No political/social shit. The real world sucks, we can all agree on that. I'm on here for fun, not to be lectured.

3. This is mostly an OC blog but I'm more than willing to rp as the moon boys too if interested. My blog is is oc and Canon friendly. Respect others portrayal of Canon characters and OCs.

4. I don't tolerate any kind of intolerance on here, any -ism or -phobia isn't allowed. Kinda mad I still have to say it.

5. Please be patient. I'm trying to get back into RPing and I'm also living life. If I don't get back to a plot line right away I'm very sorry. My life is busy and I try to make time for everything.

6. I do have the right to turn down or not answer rp requests and asks. I will use it.

7. Don't be an asshole. If your characters only personality trait is being a jerk, then you need to work on them. My character doesn't exist to be your character's punching bag. Thank you.

8. This isn't my only blog. I may be more active on one of my others than this one, and I don't always get notifications from here (I'm on mobile so yeah...) if I don't get to you in a timely fashion I'm sorry.

9. Inappropriate/triggering/NSFW stuff will be tagged. However I don't generally write smut/love scenes like that unless they're relevant to the plot (I.E a first time, someone gets pregnant, etc...). I'm not your porn source.

Name: Lyra Shelby (however wants to legally change her last name to Lockley)

Age: in her early to mid 30s

Height: 5 foot 3 inches, so rather short

Important info: Lyra is the avatar of Mafdet, the goddess of divine retribution. Being a cheetah goddess, Lyra has many feline like abilities. She has super speed, advanced senses, and her nails elongate and harden into claws. She grows ears and tail when she shifts to her hero persona.

Relationship status: considers herself married, though she doesn't have her husband's name or ring...it's complicated.

Orientation: female, she/her pronouns, panromantic, demisexual, polyamorous.

Unlike the Moon Knight system, Lyra's avatar status is a family affair. The Goddess Mafdet is cursed, bound to the bloodline of her first priestess by her ex lover, ironically Khonshu, God of the moon. The two still go at it at times, and their situation is more complicated with their avatars being "married".

Lyra considers herself a married woman, though she can't legally marry her "husband", Jake Lockley. Jake is a part of the Moon Knight system, which contains three different personalities in one body: Marc Spector, Steven Grant, and of course Jake Lockley. Marc, the main personality, is still married to his wife Layla, and Lyra doesn't wish to interfere with that. That being said, all three of them live together after learning about Jake and Lyra. Its a complicated situation but they all make it work.

When she's not doing superhero work, Lyra is an author and independent journalist, with a few books out and is currently working on a new one. Shes bilingual, speaking both English and German. Lyra also understands some Spanish thanks to Jake, though she herself doesn't speak it.

Like the Moon Knight system she also comes from a history of abuse, from a mostly absent, military oriented father and a stepmother who mistreated her. She has siblings but she doesn't talk to them all that much anymore. Bringing them up is a bit of a sore subject for her, as she has deep seated resentment and desire for revenge against them (which is how she emerged as Mafdets avatar to begin with). Shes in therapy but it only barely helps keep the resentment at bay...
