Chapter 6:
Jabariland
A familiar icy wind brushed against M’Baku’s arms as he trekked to his throne room for a meeting with the Jabari council; Lady Ifechi and Akunna; heads of two of the Jabari’s eldest families. This meeting was one that had weighed heavy on his mind. When he first met you, he never had any intentions to let it draw out this far; to allow your courtship to gain meaning. Yet, as time wore on, he found that when he left you behind in the Americas, he had left a piece of himself with you. To feel as if something was missing in his homeland was a foreign notion. He chided himself at the idea of it, a sense of betrayal to his people creeping up his back. But there was no shaking this warmth that you had stirred within him. You had done what countless women had failed to achieve in the past. Capturing the Great Gorilla’s heart and mind was a feat that you accomplished gracefully. Now, he had to approach the council with this fact.
Hanging birch logs illuminated by lights greeted M’Baku as he entered the throne room. Jabari warriors nodded their heads toward him as he passed. He sunk down into his masterfully crafted throne and assumed his usual widened position. M’Bele, one of his most trusted friends, soon took his place beside him as the council funneled into the room.
“Thank you all for meeting on such short notice. I have made a decision regarding Ochuko’s treason and treachery. Banishment seems a worthy punishment,” M’Baku declared.
“You would let this irhamncwa live after he injured one of our people and attempted to kill many others in your absence?” Lady Ifechi had been beside herself ever since M’Baku formed an alliance with King T’Challa. She didn’t approve of the time he spent away from Jabariland as an ambassador for a king who only ‘welcomed the Jabari in when they needed our help’ she’d said.
“I will not send him to the ancestors before his time. It is their decision when he has served his purpose on this plane. Akunna?”
“Though trying as it might have been to witness a betrayal on our own land,” Akunna uttered, shutting his eyes at the thought of what could have been. “Taking a Jabari life would not sit well with our people.”
“So it is settled. Ochuko will live the remainder of his days past the borderlands of Wakanda. I have already spoken with the Border tribe leader and he will put him to work. In my future absences, M’Bele will step in as second in command,” M’Baku noted.
Ifechi nodded in agreement knowing that she was outnumbered. When it came to the safety of his people, it was hard for anyone to speak against him. Though he was revered as their leader and chief, the council would always contribute to the finality of each decision; which only made him all the more apprehensive. Puffing out his chest, M’Baku gathered himself in preparation.
“Before we end, I have a proposition of sorts. I have spent too long guiding our people with no one by my side. I would like to take on an inkosikazi.”
“Lord M’Baku, what a wonderful sentiment. Our people need a chieftess and now is the perfect time to do it. To produce heirs to lead the Jabari. Glory to Hanuman.” Lady Ifechi waxed poetically, as she had been waiting for him to bring this up for quite some time. Though never to his face, she never failed to ‘mention’ M’Baku’s need for a wife and that he wasn’t getting any younger.
“Glory to Hanuman,” the room erupted.
“One of our fisherman’s daughters, Imani, is of age. She would make a great chieftess,” Akunna informed the council.
“I’m sure Imani is beautiful but I’ve already found someone. While I’ve been away, I have been courting a black American woman and I wish to take her as my wife.”
M’Baku watched as the smiles dropped around him. His brows furrowed as he watched Ifechi and Akunna's faces contort with disapproval.
“I’m sorry but I must vote against this request. Black Americans have brought no good to this country. Look what happened when they let a child without a tribe sit on the throne in the Golden City,” Lady Ifechi reproached.
“Council, if I may, Lord M’Baku has given so much to us as a people. He has always had our best interest at hand. He has led us in battle and in life. M’Baku sacrificed his pride so that he could provide for our people. I beg’o, when will enough be enough? How much more will you have him sacrifice?”
M’Bele’s query to the council was met with silence. Rarely did he talk out of turn but he knew what needed to be said at this moment. M’Baku quietly thanked him for his words and returned his attention to his council. Tightening his fingers around his staff, he watched Ifechi and Akunna gather their answers.
“We cannot allow it. We must learn from the Golden Tribe’s mistakes. The border tribe has still yet to recover their forces. The general’s own husband taking up a sword against her over a black American with no past and no future. Is this what you wish for our people?” Akunna’s question echoed in the room and M’Baku sat defeated. How could the council ask him to choose between his heart and his people? He simply grunted in response and the council took it as his answer. They knew what kind of leader he was. His people would always come first, even if it meant sacrificing his happiness.
“It is resolved. If you want a good wife and a chieftess for our people, we will find one here. One of our own,” Lady Ifechi says before leaving the throne room, with Akunna in tow.
Disappointment swelled in M’Baku’s chest. This answer was the one he expected but not the one he hoped for. The Jabari had come so far in their joining of the other tribes. He himself sat on the elder council in The Golden City and provided efforts to ensure the future of all the tribes represented there. And yet it was not enough for some Jabari. Just as he had refused the need for technological advancements in the past, some of his people hesitated in walking into this new future of acceptance. His council included.
M’Baku rose from his throne and rolled his shoulders back, trying to elude the building grief within him. He turned to face M’Bele and placed his hand on the warrior’s armored shoulder.
“I will be gone for a week, please ensure that no mischief arises. Though you are in command, try not to imbibe on the job,” he joked half-heartedly. M’Bele chuckled but saw through his friend’s need to lighten the unfortunate situation.
“My comfort for you, umntakwethu. I know you care for this woman deeply.” M’Bele bowed his head in shared sadness and M’Baku patted his shoulder once more.
“Unfortunately, it is much more than that. I thank you for your words of comfort, my friend. I must go prepare for my trip.”
The Ritz Carlton, Los Angeles
Megan was rolling pieces of prosciutto for the charcuterie board while you and her chatted. You groaned, standing on your toes to grab three wine glasses from the cabinet. You, Megan, and Shellee had planned a girls' night to catch up but Shellee was late as usual. Being an entrepreneur with singular control over 3 luxury nail salon locations couldn’t be easy and you knew that. But you couldn’t ignore that it was taking a toll on your friendship with her. Check-ins were sparse even during your two-month ‘break’ from sugaring. And in the times that she did call, she was hard to talk to. She was overly critical about your choices in life and was iffy at best when it came to pursuing art. Your situation had afforded you all this freedom and Shelle was always busy. You simply chalked it up to being a product of adulthood and tried not to dwell on it too much.
“So when’s M’Baku coming back? Is everything alright between y’all?”
“Things are good. We revised our contract. He’s coming back tomorrow night and then we’re leaving for a week,” you answered, walking over to the living room and placing the glasses next to a bottle of Veuve Clicquot.
“Not you getting flewed out right after punishment sex. Where’s sugar daddy taking you this time?”
You smiled as the butterflies in your tummy stirred at the thought of going away with M’Baku again. It had been a while and you couldn’t wait to make up for the lost time. Megan watched as you melted and you both erupted in giggles.
“I’m not really sure, Meg,” you beamed, placing a few pillows on the floor, “when we first made our little agreement, he asked me to make a list of places I wanted to visit. He just chooses from there.”
“That’s cute as hell. He must really like you, O.” Shrugging your shoulders, you helped her bring the food over to the coffee table.
“I don’t know about alladat. He’s just fulfilling his end of the deal.”
“Oh please,” Megan dismissed your minimization. “It’s giving Pretty Woman.”
A knock at the door interrupted you and Megan’s gushing session. Standing, you pulled your pajama shirt down and sighed.
“Okay, don’t mention you know who when she comes in. You already know what she be on,” you warned before heading to open the door.
2 Hours and a Few Drinks Later
Shellee had brought a few pre-rolls to relax with you and Meg and it didn’t take long for the stress of the day to escape her. All three of you ate, laughed, and drank. And for a moment, through the haze of smoke and champagne bubbles, it felt like old times.
You leaned your back against the newly clean couch and gave into the heaviness of your eyelids. Flashbacks of why the sofa needed to be cleaned came with each blink. His hands squeezing and kneading your hips and thighs; the gushing noises your body made every time he stroked in and out of you; his deep, rough voice singing your praises in your ear. Both your mind and your body ached for him. Getting lost in your thoughts was far too easy when it came to him.
“It’s so nice to finally be with y’all. This place is gorgeous, Oshun,” Shellee complimented, raising her glass to you. Her compliment drove you back to the present and you clasped your legs together in an attempt to distinguish the fire M’Baku continued to set even in his absence.
“It really is gorgeous, which is why I’ve been meaning to ask; can I use your loft while you’re gone?” Both you and Shellee looked at Megan in confusion.
“Meg, you have a whole ass apartment and a man,” you chuckled, “why you wanna stay here?”
“Wait, you’re leaving somewhere, O?”
“Her man is taking her on a trip, she won’t know where till tomorrow,” Megan spilled before taking another puff of the indica pre-roll. You hit her stomach and Megan coughed wildly, realizing what she had just said.
“You have a whole boyfriend, and you didn’t tell me,” Shellee questioned. Both you and Megan looked at each other and back at Shellee.
“Not exactly. It’s more of a situationship.”
“A situationship and he’s flying you out places? Nah, be fucking foreal. You got this new loft, and new clothes, you handed me silk pajamas when I walked in. What is going on, O?” You sat with Shellee’s inquiry for a moment to gather your thoughts and took a long drag from your blunt. If she really wanted to know, you’d tell her.
“You remember when Meg and I went to DC like 5 months ago? I met someone that weekend and we hit it off. But he doesn’t have the freedom to have a normal relationship so we made a sugaring contract that works for both of us and-,” you were cut off by the sound of Shellee chuckling. Your face dropped and you rolled your eyes at her.
“Why are you laughing, Shellee? You asked her to tell you,” Megan said, coming to your defense.
“I’m sorry, I just... I thought you were smarter than this, O?”
“Smarter than what? You always so damn judgemental,” you scoffed.
“Oshun, what do you know about this man, really? What does he do for work? Where does he live full-time? Who is he around when you’re not with him?” You leaned back into your pillows, looking down into your glass. You couldn’t answer any of her questions.
“You don’t even know anything about him. You can’t honestly think that this is going to last. I hope you’re at least saving whatever allowance he’s giving you. Maybe then you can actually do something with your life instead of scribbling and being some man’s pet.” Her words shot through you and blinked wildly at her.
“Oh, so I’m a pet now? This is exactly why I don’t be telling you shit. Excuse me if I don’t have my master's in business or manage multiple locations. Not everyone wants to live your #girlboss life, damn,” you shut your eyes and took a deep breath, trying your best to keep calm.
“And what, being easily expendable is better? This can’t be all that you really want, O. What do YOU want?”
“I want him! I want to paint and fuck and be happy with him and be able to breathe in this claustrophobic, capitalistic, bullshit-ass country. Is that so bad,” you yelled back, tears threatening to roll down your cheeks. Shellee immediately regretted her words as soon as she saw you cry. She knew she could be harsh but seeing you visibly hurt was eye-opening.
“Shells, let’s just table it for now,” Megan muttered while rubbing your shoulders and telling you to take a couple of deep breaths.
All the previous comfort had been sucked out of the room like a vacuum. What started out as a relaxing girls' night quickly went left and Shellee knew she had caused this. It wouldn’t be the first time her words had brought down the vibe. You thought you’d be used to it by now. But seeing your position with M’Baku through Shellee’s perspective took her over the edge. It was too much for you to bear.
“Listen, I just want more for her. I’ve sugared in the past, I know how this ends. He got me through undergrad and right as I began to fall in love with him, I found out he had a whole wife and kids. He supported me for 3 and a half years and fell for him like a fool. Not realizing I was just the hired help,” Shellee sighed. She tucked a loose loc behind her ear and wiped a sole tear from her cheek.
“I know I can’t stop you from making your own decisions. And I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have come at you like that. But just be careful. Try not to fall in love just because he’s showering you with lofts and trips. He could take it away at any time.”
“Too late,” you chimed.
“M’Baku wouldn’t do that, Shells. I’ve seen the way he looks at O. It’s not just a contract like they say it is. Even if it took til now for Oshun to admit it.” Megan had pointed out your lackluster confession and you groaned in despair.
“So everybody knows about this M’Baku except for me? The fuck is-” You and Megan’s pointed glares made her stop talking and she put her hands up in defeat. Shellee would just have to meet M’Baku at a later date. She grabbed your free hand and rubbed her thumb across your knuckles.
“I love you, O. And if this is what you want, I’ll support you. Regardless of the outcome, I’ll be here,” Shellee said before placing a kiss on your cheek. You silently thanked her and leaned into your two friend’s embrace.
“So can I show Shellee the painting that you did of M’Baku? He really is fine as hell, you gotta let me show her.” Megan’s request disrupted your group hug and shook your head in disapproval, chuckling.
“Oh my god, Meg. Be serious for once!”
“Nah, if he’s as fine as she says he is, I’ma need to see. To the painting!” Shellee and Megan ‘wooed’ as they left your embrace to go to your painting room. You shook your head and laughed at your friends’ antics. A chime drew your attention to the phone sitting in your lap. Unlocking your phone, you saw a new text from M’Baku.
I cannot wait to see you tomorrow. Time away from you is never easy - M
I can’t wait to see you either. - O

Water. There was water everywhere.
Flooding the streets, tidal waves taking people out left and right.
It barreled down each and every pathway, racing toward you as you desperately tried to run towards safety, the splashing sounds taunting you from behind.
The water bit at your heels before crashing over you-
You woke with a gasp, body covered in sweat, crawling along your skin.
Even though you knew you had just woken up from a nightmare, you couldn’t manage to even out your breathing.
Because it wasn’t totally a nightmare.
It was a memory. From just a few days ago when Wakanda was attacked.
You looked around at all of the sleeping bodies around you, their mats covering nearly every inch of the floor. There was no empty space. Nowhere to breathe.
The walls of the small refuge created in the caves of the Jabari Tribe headquarters began to close in on you, and the space suddenly became too crowded.
And then you were drowning all over again, chest constricting, air refusing to reach your lungs.
Without thinking, you jumped out of your mat, maneuvering around all of the sleeping Wakandan refugees, black spots forming in your vision as the panic continued to rise in you.
Why did it feel like the path out of this room went on for miles and miles? Why was there no end in sight?
Finally, you made it through the sea of people and toward the dim hallway.
Before you could let out a sigh of relief, you heard it.
The splashing. The devastating waves.
They had found you once again.
You turned to look over your shoulder as you picked up your pace, sprinting down the hall to run away from the phantom tidal wave that chased you in your mind-
Until you crashed into something.
Something large, sturdy.
Someone, you gathered - as massive hands wrapped around your arms to keep you from stumbling to the ground.
You looked up, eyes fighting the black spots to focus on the concerned brown eyes staring down at you.
A small voice in the back of your brain screamed to you that this man was important, a person of great respect, someone who deserved a bow or some sort of recognition.
Lord M’Baku, leader of the Jabari Tribe, the Great Gorilla. One of the fiercest warriors in all of Wakanda.
But the larger part of your mind was still breaking down, so for right now, he was someone you could cling to for support.
“Outside,” you gasped, your head growing dizzy. You needed to be out in the open fast or else you were going to pass out. “I need to get outside.”
He didn’t say anything, just nodded. His hands held onto you a little tighter as your legs grew wobbly beneath you.
“Can you walk?” he asked, low voice echoing through the hallway and deep inside your chest.
You nodded, unable to speak, and it was all he needed. He shifted his hold to grab the small of your back and led you down the hall, holding you closely to his side to make sure you didn’t fall over.
“This way,” he murmured, veering off the main path and down a smaller corridor, and you almost protested being in the more confining space, but something told you to trust the man fighting to keep you upright.
A few seconds later, he was opening a large stone door built into the wall of the mountain. As you felt the cool night air hit your face, your body sagged further into him in relief before running out of his hold and toward the balcony ahead.
It took a handful of heaving gulps before you managed to put enough air in your lungs to get rid of the black spots. You looked up from the stone below your hands and toward the view in front of you and let out a small gasp.
You must have been close to the peak of the mountain for a view like this, to see the entirety of Jabari, the neighboring mountains glittering with snow, the full moon illuminating every surface with a mesmerizing glow, millions of stars twinkling above.
The sounds of water were gone from your mind, and you were met with the peaceful silence of night.
Even though you had just gotten air back into your lungs, the scene before you momentarily took your breath away again once more, but in a much less terrifying way.
“Here,” M’Baku’s low voice came from behind. You turned around to see a glass of water held out in front of you. Looking up to meet those comforting brown eyes, you nodded a quick thanks and took the glass, knocking half of it back in one go.
When you looked back, you saw two large, empty hands fiddling together in front of the giant warrior, as if anxious.
“What else can I do?” he asked, desperate to help in any way.
Something in the protective tone in his voice put knots in your stomach and you shook your head. “I-I’m f-f-f-fine,” you replied, the shivers escaping from you exposing the fact that your sweat-covered body was now open to the freezing cold air and you were not, in fact, fine.
The lord of the mountain shook his head, a light huff escaping his chest as he took the fur off his back.
“No, n-no, you don’t have to-” you tried to protest, but before you could say another word the wrap was over your shoulders, and the sudden warmth radiating through your body was so  intoxicating that it brought a small smile to your face.
M’Baku let out a grizzly laugh that brought even more warmth to your insides. “There it is,” he said.
Your brows furrowed. “There what is?”
“I was not going to find an ounce of rest this night if I did not get you to smile,” he replied.
You let out a small laugh, taking more of him in now that your nerves had settled.
Though he now stood a couple of feet away from you, you still needed to crane your neck back in order to look at his face. The man completely towered over you, his presence commanding the entire space.
And yet, you didn’t feel any fear around him, or like you were being looked down on by someone of high status in these lands.
You felt comforted, protected, safe, which had not been the case in the days since Namor attacked the Golden City. Since then, all you had known was fear.
His dark skin glowed under the moonlight, making his features even more breathtaking. Without the cover of his fur, you could see the bulging muscles from his bare shoulders all the way down his arms.
There had been many times during your time in Wakanda that you heard whispers of the lord of the mountains, and how M’Baku’s strength could only be met with that of the Black Panther themself.
You imagined him lifting your body into the air with complete ease, a thought you never inherently had with any other man you had encountered.
“How are you not cold right now, Your Lordship?” you asked, shivering at the thought of him being so exposed in such cold weather.
He tsk’ed, taking a step forward and extending his arm out. “I am the heart of these mountains, my lady. There is a fire in my veins that no cold can put out.”
You rested a hand on his large bicep, the warmth radiating from it sending a shiver down your spine. Had you been able to focus on anything other than the feeling of his smooth, muscled skin, you would have heard the small hitch in his breath from your touch.
“M’Baku,” he said softly, and you looked back up at him. “Call me M’Baku.”
How could you say no to such a request, with the way his eyes bore into yours?
You gave him your name, and he mouthed it to himself, feeling the string of letters along his lips.
“You are not from Wakanda,” he said after a beat. A statement rather than a question.
“I am not,” you still responded.
“You chose a terrible time to visit.” The joking tone in his voice made you laugh.
“I suppose not,” you said, finally noticing that your hand was still on his arm. You forced yourself to remove it. “I’ve been here for a few years, actually. Used to work for Shield as a scientist, and was assigned here by Steve Rogers for a few months to work with the Wakandan scientists and Bucky Barnes. After everything with…Thanos, I was officially out of a job. Bruce Banner pulled a few strings with Shuri and allowed me to continue working here.”
“I wish our paths had crossed sooner.”
Your throat constricted, tears welling in your eyes and you nodded. “Me, too.”
Concern returned to his expression and he rested a hand on your cheek. “What is wrong?”
A scoff escaped from your lips before you could remind yourself that you were speaking with practically royalty.
“I’m sorry.” Your bottom lip began quivering. “I mean, what isn’t wrong right now? Wakanda is under attack, and I lost friends who have been my family these last few years. I also don’t know if I’ll ever be able to sleep without having nightmares of almost drowning ever again-”
Strong arms wrapped around you, cutting off your rambling as they completely consumed you in warmth and security as you cried into the chest of the great leader.
Some unknown number of minutes passed before he pulled away, your composure returning. His hand went back to your cheek, thumb wiping away a tear.
“I know things appear grim right now, but I swear on Hanuman himself that I will do everything in my power to protect Wakanda and its people…” his serious expression turned sly and he winked, “especially its visitors with the most radiant of smiles.”
Your smile returned, and so did your laugh.
“Thank you, M’Baku.”
With a nod, he lowered his hand to grab yours. “Come. Let’s get you to bed.”
Panic arose in you once more at the thought of being in the small room with so many other people. “I think I’d rather stay out here-”
“Nonsense. I have a private room in my chambers where you can rest.” He waved his free hand behind him to show off the giant glass window, behind it a cozy bedroom.
“Oh no, I don’t want to intrude.”
He rolled his eyes. “Y/n, the whole of Wakanda is intruding on my lands this evening. Now, please stop trying to argue with the Great Gorilla before I show you how I got that name.”
Your feet slowed, stomach dropping at the threat. But when he turned around, there was a mischievous look on his face, and a grin from ear to ear. He winked at you again and you found yourself laughing at the powerful warrior before you.
“My apologies, Mr. Great Gorilla,” you retorted, pulling a low, rumbly laugh from him.
He escorted you into the room, remaining at the doorway, his back turned away from you as you sat on the bed.
“I will leave you to rest,” he said, hand going to the door.
“Wait-” you called, unable to stop yourself. His hand paused. “This is definitely too much to ask, and I’m sure you have a million other things to take care of…but is there any chance you could stay?”
M’Baku turned back to you, and you immediately opened your mouth to try and take back your request.
But the look in those kind eyes halted your words, and without hesitation he nodded.
“Anything you need.”
All I need is you, you thought.
You swallowed. “Thank you.”
He walked over, sitting on the bed next to you, your backs pressed against the headboard, gazes toward the wall in front of you.
The two of you sat there in silence for a few moments, your thumbs twiddling on your lap as a newfound awkwardness slowly ate at you.
M’Baku cleared his throat, clearly in the same state of discomfort as you were.
“So,” you finally said, “how did you earn the title of Great Gorilla?”
His lips curved upward as he looked over at you. “I am so glad you asked. It all started when…”
The two of you stayed awake for hours, sharing stories and asking each other questions.
Finally, as your lids grew heavier and heavier, gravity pulled your head to the muscular shoulder next to you as sleep pulled you under.
When you awoke, the sun was shining, and you felt rested for the first time in days.
You also felt a familiar sturdiness underneath your cheek, as well as a large arm wrapped around your waist.
Looking up, you found M’Baku staring down on you, a serious - almost nervous - look on his face.
He smiled. “Good morning, Y/n. How did you sleep?”

….
Tumblr media Tumblr media
M’baku and t’challa have been discussing their plan to get their girl to literally take control of both of them, yea both! Even M’baku this was his idea first, knowing M’baku intimidating nature he IS dominant, t’challa he’s a mix of both, but to think M’baku would be submissive with his girl is kinda wow. During the day both the men were very busy, of course due to them both being king’s they are working, she was left to do her own thing but the thing is she had nothing to do, she was completely bored.
She groans laying in her bed tossing and turning and flipping, she looks at the time and she only had two hours left till her boys come home. She was so anxious and ready for them to come home to her, by the time it came it’s been two hours after and she was irritated, where were they?! She taps her kimoyo beads calling M’baku but he didn’t answer nor did t’challa and there what pisses her off is when they don’t answer. Once she walks down the steps she hears a deep chuckle coming from the hallway “oh my little snowflake,” M’baku said, “M’baku where have you been?! I’ve been waiting for you both-" she stops when t’challa walks out the darkness as well with a smirk on his face, something told her it was a set up, “you’ve been waiting hm?” He spoke “yes I have! You’re both late!” She scolds but their smirk never left their face.
“Well… maybe our beautiful babygirl can give us a good punishment for being late,”t’challa said, her eyes go wide looking at both of you, “w-what are you talking about?” She asks, “oh you know exaactly what we’re talking about,” M’baku smirked walking up to her taunting her, her breath bitches which is something he always does to her, “we want our babygirl to take control, hmph… it seems this is the right occasion for it,” t’challa spoke leaning into her neck.
“You want me to take control?” She asks.
They both nodded, “we do what mommy says eh?” M’baku asked t’challa he chuckles nodding “mhm” she quirks a brow feeling a smirk come up on her face as the confidence rises, “hmph what should I do with the both of you?” She tilts her head, M’baku grabs her waist kissing her neck but she pushes him away a little “you don’t get to touch me, boys who are late don’t deserve it,” she said, she glances at the stairs “bedroom” she said and they waisted no time with that heading straight up to the bedroom. Once they got up into the bedroom she smirks “clothes off” she demanded, they begin stripping of their clothing, staring deeply at her, their hard erects got her attention boy did she love it, their size makes her legs shrivel everytime.
“Why do you insist on being late hm? I would love to hear this,” she spoke kissing along M’baku’s chest, “a last meeting popped up, we couldn’t miss it,” t’challa said “but couldn’t answer my call hm what a shame,” she grabs t’challa hard dick making him walk closer to her, she strokes his erect making hum from the feeling, his eyes close as he leans his head back, she didn’t want to leave M’baku out on the phone “strip me of my clothes M’baku,” she tells him, he waisted no time taking off her close he rips her favorite panties off making her suck her teeth slaps his arm “that was my favorite,” she said “I can but you a hundred more,” he said.
I continue to stroke t’challa, while nibbling at m’baku’s lips, he grunts needy as he kisses her lustfully she kisses back, stroking t’challa faster “ohhh mommy-ughh” t’challa grunts, she pulls away dropping down to her knees, she flicks her tongue on M’baku’s tip staring up at him, “oh baby” he mumbles, she brings both of them closer to her face flicking her tongue in the middle so the sides of her tongue touches the their tips, she takes m’baku’s dick first swallowing him whole, did i forget to mention she barley has a gag reflex, she moans deep throating him leaving him on cloud nine.
He grunted grabbing her hair guiding her to go faster till she slaps his hand away, giving him that warning glare he pouted but that pout turned into a moan soon after. T’challa’s hips thrusted eagerly wanting his turn, she pulls away with ‘pop’ looking into t’challa’s dark eyes “you want your turn baby boy hm?” He nodded immediately “yes mommy, ughhh” he groans she plays with his tip,”lays your ass on the bed,” she said to m’baku she stood up as m’baku lays on the bed, staring at her ass he begins stroking himself to relief some of the tension ins his body, “Aht aht i didn’t say you can stroke yourself,” she said he grunted knowing it irked his nerve, she chuckles “is that attitude I hear?” He huffs “no mommy,” he says, she walks around the bed crawling over to him till her pussy was right in front of him, as he goes to pick she pulls up “you don’t get to eat yet, since you wanna have a attitude,” she said, she grabs t’challa’s waist pulling him closer to give him head, meanwhile m’baku’s member keeps poking at her chest, “please let me eat… fuck” he grunted, “you wannna eat it?” She looks back “mhmm,” she then goes to sit on his face and boy that man went to town devouring her.
“Ouuu fuck yess-eat this pussy baby mmm” She moans rolling her hips as his tongue swirls around clit. She’s stares up at T’challa with a smirk, “mommy please touch me,” he pleaded, his needy eyes said it, she moans taking him in her mouth, she swirls her tongue engulfing his girth in tight throat, he leans his head back moaning the vibrations from her moaning because of m’baku made him almost cum, “mmm fuck yesss… awww-bast!” She squealed m’baku slaps her ass squeezing it. “I’m bout to cum baku, mmm-you betta make me cum,” she whimpered, he pulled her down farther sucking and licking till she cummed on his tongue, she moans and moves out the way “since t’challa didn’t get nun he goes first, go sit down and be a good boy and stroke yourself,” she said.
He did as told sitting down with big thigh spread apart, stroking his big member t’challa pushes me down smacking my ass “hmm, this dom you is not so bad, it’s intriguing,” he smirks “you both told me to take control, shouldn’t be expecting anything less,” she said confidently “ohh this dominant her is torturing, mmm how I want to demolish that pussy you got,” M’baku spoke, she gasps when t’challa’s member slides in thanks to her wetness. “Oh fuck daddy! Mmm yes fuck me goood,” she moans, his hip thrusts hard with no remorse, he wanted her to feel every single bit of him, he grabs her neck pulling her upwards. “Babyyy fuck-you feel so good in my pussy-yesss!” She yells, she stares at m’baku stroking himself even faster, “daddy! I know you wanna cum, come here,” she moans m’baku stood up stroking faster as his grunts get louder and harder, “yess yes yess!” She yelled she opens her mouth for him allowing his seed to spill in to her mouth he pulls away a little to let his cum spill over he face, he bites down on his lip looking down at her cum covered face, “ohhh-t’challa! Please I’m gonna cum,” that man went faster catching her off guard, “look at you taking his dick, I wonder if you can take two,” m’baku smirked mischievously, he stands up fully as t’challa pulls out.
She whines as she looks back at him they switched sides and this t’challa got on the bed and brought her on top of him, M’baku’s thumb rubs circles around her right hole making her whimper, “uhhhnnn stop teasing me baku” she whines, t’challa grips her cheeks spreading them wide for m’baku, m’baku grabs the lub lubricating his dick before aligning himself to go inside, but he teased by poking at her “baku” she said looking back at him wanting him to stop.
He chuckles slowly going in her, she let outs mute gasp feeling his thick member stretch her all the way out right after t’challa stretched her pussy out, she couldn’t get nothing out but broken whimpers, “ughhh! FUCK!” M’baku grunted he slaps her “you’re doing to good my love.. look at you, taking our dicks like a good girl,” t’challa gives her kisses, tears fill her eyes when both of them started fucking her st the same flow, the pleasure and high she was feeling was over the top. Her eyes went back, mind going into a daze when the pleasure reaches her limit she screamed clenching t’challa’s arm and the covers “I can take it I caannnt! Fuck y’all are so big-uhhhh!” She ends up creaming leaving t’challa grunting sucking on her neck “you are taking us so good mami, being s good fucking slut” M’baku slaps her as hard, M’baku grunts said he filled her up with his seed.
His thigh twitch as her overcome his high, t’challa was still going, she felt like she was going to pass out at any second the way they had her overstimulated, “please cum-p-please please!” She begs and that’s what he did, he deeply kisses her while m’baku planted love bites on her skin, “I…I can’t feel my pussy,” she stutters out of breath “nor my ass fuck” M’baku chuckles, t’challa pulls out “I think it’s time we have our futures royalties to our heir come,” he said, “I’m not on the pill so you getting what you wish for,” t’challa smirk standing up holding me up.
“I won’t be able to even stand up no more,” she mumbled. “M’baku can carry you around,” t’challa said while m’baku snickers as he pecks her lips.

Tumblr media
You and your handsome librarian were spending the New Year in a little mountain cabin. M’Baku had bought it a few years ago and assured you that it had everything you’d need. You were happy that you got to spend another year together.
You spent a day buying groceries, and packed your warmest clothes and hiking boots, along with some festive lingerie as a treat. A small bag of winter florals was also packed, just to make the cabin feel festive for a few days. You filled M’Baku’s car with bags and were soon on your way.
You spent the drive playing Christmas songs. M’Baku would occasionally glance at you as you sang along to Motown songs and newer hits, a gleam of amusement in his eyes.
“Look M, TLC’s Sleigh Ride is a classic, and I’m disappointed that you haven’t learned that by now.”
M’Baku shrugged, his eyes watching the road. “I can’t help it that you have questionable tastes, my violet.”
You sputtered in outrage. “Excuse me?! You think that you can say that right after black baby Jesus’s birthday? Are you forreal right now? Seriously?”
He frowned, adjusting his glasses. “So much of that statement was wrong, what are they teaching you Americans in school?”
You glared at him and scrolled through your phone. “Fine. I’ll find something even a grinch like you can enjoy.”
You pressed play and a funky drumbeat started to play. A Ghanaian Christmas song filled the car. M’Baku smiled as he tapped the wheel, nodding his head to the beat.
“This is more like it! See, I’m not a hard man to please. You simply need to play better songs, woman.”
You side-eyed him. “Keep talking and I’ll push you out of the car, driver or not.”
M’Baku’s charming grin spread across his face, his infectious giggle threatening to break out. You both did little dances in your seats as he drove on.
The cabin was as lovely as he described, cosy and welcoming. Nestled in the woods, it was cut off from the rest of the world. You understood why M’Baku lived it. You gasped when you saw a small tree near the unused log burning stove. It was simply decorated with silver tinsel and ribbon.
“It isn’t real, but I thought you’d like a tree here, too.” He kissed the hat on top of your head.
“Oh, M!” He knew you too well. CYou dropped your bags and hugged him. His strong arms held you tight. “It’s perfect. You’re perfect, thank you.”
The day was spent putting things away and prepping for dinner. M’Baku really had modernised the small cabin, the central heating making the wooden walls warm to the touch. Before the sun set, he took you outside, showing you the land around the property. You felt a deep sense of peace as you gazed at the ancient trees and rushing stream.
Even though your mountain town was quiet, the only sounds that interrupted the silence here were the animals and insects. It reminded you of the few times you’d gone hiking with M’Baku in the summer months. A stillness that made you slow down too.
After dinner, you whiled away the night with wholesome activities, playing board games and dancing to soft music. But the wholesomeness gave way to other pleasures as the night wore on. The quiet was interrupted by sounds of a different sort.
By the time you fell asleep, all seemed right with the world.
It was the morning of New Year’s Eve. When you awoke, it was to an empty bed. You sat up and shivered. It was freezing. You quickly put on warm pyjamas and your dressing gown.
“M? Are you here?” you called out.
“In the kitchen!” he called out. “It snowed overnight.”
You joined him, looking out with wonder. You’d both slept through a small blizzard. The snow was already a few feet high, pristine and bright.
“How beautiful,” you murmured.
“How frustrating. It wasn’t meant to snow this much. Luckily we have plenty of food, salt, and a few shovels.”
You chuckled as you went to turn on the heater. “Always practical, baby.”
You picked up the thermometer and flipped it on. Nothing happened. The soft click of the boiler coming to life didn’t happen.
You frowned worriedly at the thermometer.“Uh, honey? Have you turned on the hot water yet?”
“Not yet.” He’d started to make tea but had gotten distracted. He turned on the tap, sticking his hand in the water. It was freezing. He waited for it to heat up but nothing happened.
“By Hanuman,” he swore softly. Just what he needed. “The pipes have frozen overnight.”
“Shit. What do we do? We can’t stay here without any heat, do we need to call the ranger?”
M’Baku could hear the panic rising in your voice. “Sithandwa sam , it’s alright. I can fix the pipe, it just needs heating. But I will have to remove some of the snow. For now, I will use the log burner.”
“Are you sure?” Wilderness did not suit you. This was meant to be a relaxing getaway and was turning into a nightmare.
He moved to you and put reassuring hands on your shoulders. “My darling Violet, all will be well. I promise. Sit on the sofa, I’ll make a tea to warm you up.”
You wrapped yourself in a blanket and sat on the sofa, looking forlorn. M’Baku brought over a tray, placing it on the coffee table.
He stifled a smile, adjusting his glasses. “My poor, fragile Violet. I thought that you were a hardy warrior woman.”
Your eyes glared at him from the warmth of the large blanket. “Well, you’re wrong, as usual. I’m a florist.  A delicate florist used to the finer things in life. Like heat.”
M’Baku’s warm, booming laugh wrapped around you. “I see. Well, I’ll make you warm before I get the logs, my delicate flower.”
He unwrapped the blanket and climbed on top of you. He threw the blanket over you both. He rested on top of you, nuzzling your cheek.
“Will this help?”
You looked into his lovely brown eyes. “Maybe.”
“Hmm. What else can I do? I can’t let my girlfriend freeze.” He covered you in a flurry of kisses until you were flailing and gasping with laughter.
“Okay, okay! You’re helping!” you wheezed.
“I knew it would. This is how we stayed warm in Jabariland on the coldest nights. We would stay close and kiss to transfer heat. If you want, I can show you our more advanced traditions.”
You put your head back, giggling. “Boy, you are so stupid.”
His smile gave you all the warmth you needed. “But more importantly, I am keeping you warm. And you are no longer sad.”
He was right. Things would be okay. You were together. “I’ll need a few more kisses to give me enough strength to help you with the logs.”
“Anything to give you the strength you need, my love.” He tilted your chin, gazing at your mouth. “I love you. I wouldn’t want to be snowed in with anyone else.”
You couldn’t respond with sweet words of your own because in that moment, he kissed you, his body pressed against yours.
It was better than anything you could have said, honestly. There were worst ways to end the year.

“The only way you’re getting off is on my thigh.”
“You make a sound and it’s game over.”
“No touching.”
“Does that feel good?”
“Let’s take this outside.”
“We’ll have to make it quick.”
“You’re such a tease.”
“Choke me.”
“Are you just gonna stare?”
“Please, please let me come.”
“If you want it, beg for it.”
“Don’t stop.”
“Come sit on my lap.”
“God, you look good.”
“I could really use a fuck right now.”
“We can take a quick shower.”
“Someone’s happy to see me.”
“Are you sure you want to do this in the car?”
“Don’t come until I tell you to.”
“Where are your manners?”
“Louder.”
“I bet you want me pretty bad right now, huh?”
“Are we really gonna do this in public?”
“I’ve been thinking about doing this all day.”
“You’ve got too many clothes on.”
“Have you been good?”
“I want you so badly.”
“I can’t wait any longer.”
“Someone’s gonna hear you.”
Fluff
“I just cant see myself ever living without you.”
“If there was ever anybody meant for me, it’s you.”
“The closest thing to love at first sight I’ve ever experienced happened when I first laid eyes on you.”
“I didn’t believe in soulmates until I met you.”
“Did you just tell the person I was gonna go out with that we’re dating?”
“You owe me a kiss.”
“Go with me?” “Only if you hold my hand.”
“I’d feel much better if you’d let me walk you home.”
“If I asked you to stay, would you?”
“You make me feel alive. For the first time ever, I feel like I can breathe.”
“I’ve never felt this way before, and truthfully it scares me. But, the idea of never trying scares me even more.”
“You’re telling me you believe in love at first sight?” “I’m starting too.”
“I promised to love you forever, and that is a promise I intend to keep.”
“Is that my shirt?” “You mean our shirt?”
“You give me a reason to be better, to do better.”
"All I’ve ever wanted was a place to belong. Somewhere I could call home. And you gave me that. Because you are my home.”
“They don’t compare to you. No one does.”
“I thought I had the worst luck, until I met you.”
“No matter how much time we’ve spent apart, I never stopped loving you.”
“I could see the worst parts of you and still think you are the most beautiful person I’ve met.”
“I think I’m in love with you.”
“You brought me breakfast?” “Well you said you always forget to eat before you go to work, so I thought I’d make sure you ate something.”
“Everything feels right when you are with me.”
“I don’t care what others say, I want to be with you and that’s all that matters to me.”
“You bought me flowers?” “Yeah, well I noticed you’d seemed kinda down, so I wanted to cheer you up.”
“I’ll be damned if anyone makes you feel like you aren’t worthy of being loved.”
“I wasn’t sure what love really felt like until I met you.”
“You owe me.” “I owe you $20 not a day of pretending to be your boy/girl-friend to get your parents off you’re back.”
“I can braid your hair for you- I mean, only if you want.”
“Maybe if you stopped staring at them and actually talked to them, you might have a chance.”
“You said you wouldn’t fall in love with me.” “I lied.”
“I want you. All of you, and not just halfheartedly, but wholly. And maybe that’s selfish, but I don’t care.”
“Can you stay? Just for tonight, please. I don’t want to be alone with my thoughts.” “'l’ll stay for as long as you need.”
“You are my family.”
“We’ve been by each other’s sides for years, you think I’m gonna leave now?”
“Take my jacket, I don’t want you catching a cold.”
“I’d wait a thousand lifetimes for you, because you are worth waiting for. So when you are ready. I’ll be right here.”
“I will never stop fighting for you. I will never stop protecting you.”
“I can’t stop thinking about you. No matter how hard I try, you’re always on my mind”
“Don’t go on that date.” “Why?” “You know why.” “Say it.”
“Can I kiss you?”
“I don’t want you to die for me, I want you to live for me.”
“I can’t remember the last time I laughed like this.”
“How long have you had this planned?” “Since the moment I fell in love with you.”
“You came all the way here for me?”
“Why are you staring at me?” “Because I think you’re beautiful.”
“I think I’m falling in love with you.” “I think I’m okay with that.”
“What are you doing here?” “I wanted to see if you were okay.”
“The world gets a little brighter when your around.”
“They say we wont last.” “Then lets prove them wrong.”
Angst
(love that sad shit)
“All I’ve ever wanted is for you to see me.”
“When did you stop loving me?”
“Just please open your eyes.”
“Wake up. You have to wake up. Please. For me.”
“Just please, don’t leave me.”
“When was the last time you said you loved me, and meant it?”
“Why does everyone always leave?”
“It hurts so much. Why does it hurt so much? I just want it to stop.”
“Forget it. Just like you forget everything else.”
“I never ask for help because I’m not sure I know how.”
“It’s alright to feel broken every once and a while. And it’s alright to take time to heal.”
“I feel like I’m falling apart.”
“What is it about me that isn’t good enough?”
“I wish I was brave.”
“Whats the point in trying if only one of us is willing to?”
“You almost died and you’re making jokes?”
“I’m scared.”
“I don’t need you to tell me who I am!”
“I don’t miss you. I miss us.”
“I thought I’d never see you again.”
“I can’t lose you.” “You already did.”
“Don’t look at me like that.” “Like what?” “Like you still love me.”
“Will you even miss me at all?”
‘“You weren’t there…why weren’t you there? I needed you! I needed you! And you weren’t there!”
“I would give up everything for the chance to hear your laugh again. To see you smile. To see you happy.“
“If I never see you again, just know that I love you so, so much.”
“All I wanted was a happy ending.”
"Whatever you do, don’t let go.”
“You don’t have to hide your tears from me.”
“What happened to their happily ever after?” “Not all love stories get a happily ever after, sometimes it’s just once upon a time.”
“You said we’d be together forever, but I guess forever really isn’t that long.”
“I’m not leaving you here.”
“You left without saying goodbye.”
“For once in your life, do what you want! Be selfish!”
“Being strong doesn’t mean never asking for help or admitting you’re in pain.”
“Whatever you do, do not turn around.”
“No matter what they made you think, you are worth saving. You are worth loving.”
“You said you wouldn’t leave, and then you did.”
“I’m a fool for believing you meant what you said.”
“For what it’s worth, I never gave up on you.”
“You are not your past.”
“Don’t look at me like that.”
“This is the third time you’ve broken a promise to me, I’m starting to think you are doing it on purpose.”
“Whatever you do, do not close your eyes.”
“I know you’re tired, but you have to stay awake.”
“I’ll come back for you, I promise.”
“You would risk letting all those people die for one person? Why?” “Because it’s not just one person…it’s you.”
“I’m just tired of being tired.”
“Whatever you do, do not make a sound.”
“I always said I’d die for you.” “I didn’t think you meant literally.”
Random
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone screw something up that fast before.”
“I’ve never told you that before.”
“You come here often?” “Well, I work here. So I think I’d have to say ‘yes’.”
“At least it couldn’t get any worse.” “I really wish you hadn’t said that.”
“I’m too sober for this.” “You don’t even drink.” “Maybe I should start.”
“I’m telling you, I’m haunted.”
“You couldn’t handle me even if i came with instructions.”
“Wake me up when it’s over.”
“Next problem… we might die.“
"Where have you been all my life?” “Hiding from you”
“I think… everyone deserves a chance to prove themselves.”
"Abort mission, I repeat abort mission.” “What? Abort what mission? All you were doing was introducing yourself to your neighbor?” “Yeah, and they’re too attractive. I can never speak to them again.”
“At least I kept my promise.”
“I saw you looking at it last time we were in the store together, so I got it for you.”
“…Did you just sniff me?”
“I hope you find it someday.” “Find what?” “Whatever it is you’re looking for.”
“Of course I noticed, I notice everything about you.”
“Are you alright?” “Yeah, why?” “You look mad.” “That’s just my face…”
“You can’t get rid of me that easily.”
“You don’t actually have to like me, you just need to pretend you do.”
“Since when did you open a bakery in your house?” “Since I got bored.”
“Can someone explain to me, in not so many words, why they are here?”
“I don’t think I’m alone in here.”
“This place creeps me out.”
“I thought I saw something.”
“Why didn’t you answer your phone?” “Why didn’t you text?”
“You’re bleeding.” “No shit.”
“In case you haven’t heard, there is a bounty on your head.” “Is that why you’re here? To kill me and take the bounty?” “No. I’m here to protect you.”
“For the most part, I am, in fact, an idiot. But I fully admit to it, which should count for something.”
“Stop grumbling and just tell me where your medicine cabinet is.”
“Close your eyes and hold out your hand.”
“I hate that I let you convince me to do this”
“We really need to stop meeting like this. "Then stop breaking into my house!”
“Why are you creeping outside my bedroom window?!” “I thought it would be romantic if I climbed up here.” “You gave me a heart-attack!”
“What are you doing here?” “I got locked out of my house.” “Again?”
“Run.”
“I can’t stand you!” “Then sit down.”
“Where are we going?” “It’s a surprise.” “I hope the surprise involves food.”
“You wont regret it!” “Already am.”
“I like being wanted.” “You should NOT like be wanted by the police!”
“I am nothing if not consistent.” “Yeah, a consistent pain in my ass.”
“What happened?” “Do you want the long version or the short version?” “Uh, short?” “I made a mistake.” “Okay, long version.” “I made a very very big mistake.”
“Do you take constructive criticism?” “Not without crying.”
“Are we all on the same page?” “Yes. Just of different books.”
“Why did you break up with them?” My dog didn’t like them, and that is never a good sign.“
"I’m sorry were you talking to me? I tend to zone out whenever you stark speaking.”
“What happened to your hand?” “I hit my hand on something.” “On what?” “Your ex’s face.”
“I heard that!” “You were supposed to!”
“I’ve been thinking-” “Uh-oh”
“If I survive this, I’m killing you.”

Pretend That You Love Me - 2
Tumblr media
Part 2 of Continuum
Pairing: Namor x Black Fem!Reader
Rating: EXPLICIT
The gods are angry today.
It’s the only thing you can think of as you make your way through the sprawling halls of the royal palace, nestled in the heart of Birnin Zana—the Golden City. You take tentative steps, counting down the seconds until your appearance is considered overdue.
You had been sprawled out in bed, scrolling through reports shared with you by a trusted American agent—Everett Ross, as your kimoyo beads buzzed. You tapped the blinking bead instinctively, and an image of your king flashed before you.
You sat up in bed, bashfully muttering your apologies.
If M’Baku was insulted, he made no point of letting you know. His expression was wary as he regarded you.
“I request your appearance at the royal palace.”
You nodded, lifting from your bed. “Did the meeting with the Talokanil go well?”
You shifted through your room in search of an appropriate outfit to wear, attempting to distract yourself from the thought of Namor and his temporary presence in the Golden City.
It had been a month since you had last seen him. A blessing, even if your heart opposed the fact. The more time you two spent apart the better. It helped you to remember your place—of your duty to your country and the throne. Namor didn’t fit in that equation, no matter how much you silently wished that he could.
“Our guests are still here.”
You stopped short, turning towards the holographic image of your king with furrowed brows.
“I don’t understand.”
M’Baku sighed, his fingers threading through his thick beard. He looked tired, and sounded even more so. “Your knowledge of the CIA situation is needed.”
You blinked down at M’Baku, before nodding your understanding. He tipped his head in a silent farewell before the hologram faded with a sigh.
You cursed your misfortune. You had stopped appearing at the meetings months ago, assuring your king that council from the elders was enough, and that your skills would be better served keeping tabs on the CIA and their newest exploits. M’Baku had been reluctant to agree, but ultimately allowed you to do as you pleased so long as you appeared when he called.
The diplomatic meetings had become harder to sit through with the presence of a certain Talokanil king who often sat across from you. Namor’s eyes occasionally found yours, and his lips would curl in a knowing smile. Images of you breathless beneath him flashed through your mind, drowning out the vital information that was spoken between both rulers.
He was too much of a distraction, so you had done the necessary thing…to little avail.
You pulled at the sleeve of your fitted dress, trying so desperately to ground yourself as you pushed through the royal palace. It would be quick—hell, you wouldn’t even look at Namor. You would present your findings quickly, answer any questions that arose, and excuse yourself. Simple.
You continued down the hall, nearly to the throne room when you felt someone at your side. You turned, earning a nervous smile from the man beside you. T’Kawe.
“Didn’t mean to scare you,” he apologized.
You smiled back at him.
“You didn’t.”
T’Kawe had become somewhat of a replacement for you in these meetings. He took notes of the proceedings, transcribing each discussion with the use of his kimoyo beads, and sent them to you. You were eternally grateful to him for it. You were surprised when he also expressed interest in the work you were doing with Agent Ross, offering to obtain information from Wakandan agents scattered throughout the states, though a friend had assured you it was his excuse to get closer to you.
“Running late?” you asked, and he nodded with an apologetic look. “It’s alright. I am too I suppose.”
His worry seemed to fade slightly at your confession, and he followed close behind you as the doors to throne room pushed open.
You felt Namor’s eyes on you before you even walked into the room, as if he were so attuned to you that he could sense your very presence. The thought made your heart race, but you kept your eyes forward and your chin high as you reached the center of the room where you king sat. You dipped your head respectfully.
You didn’t even dare look in Namor’s direction, nor at the Talokanil generals that shadowed him.
“The American…what has he told you?”
You could always count on M’Baku to get straight the point. He was rarely one for small talk or pleasantries.
“Although Agent Ross is no longer with the CIA, he has given us an extensive list of members within the agency that could pose a threat to Wakanda and Talokan.”
You pressed your kimoyo beads, and images of several American CIA agents and directors appeared before you. A flurry of information on each of them scrolled beside their picture, though you still had much to learn about these individuals.
You tapped the image of the woman Ross had specifically pointed out to you during one of your calls. Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. The new director of the CIA.
“He expressed a particular interest in Fontaine,” you added.
M’Baku scowled at the image.
“Why?”
The golden question. You had asked Ross the same thing, but he didn’t have anything concrete besides an eerie confession she had made to him. She wanted vibranium, and he wasn’t sure what lengths she would go to get it.
“Ross believes she has an interest in vibranium, and potential means to try and obtain it.” You glanced at T’Kawe as he came to your side.
“We’re keeping eyes on her,” he added.
You pressed your glowing kimoyo bead, and the holograms vanished.
M’Baku turned his attention to Namor, whose eyes you could feel burning into your back. You tried focusing on the intricate details of the throne to distract yourself from the fact.
“Does that answer your concerns?” M’Baku asked the Talokanil leader.
His answer was a dissatisfied grunt, and you couldn’t help but glance back at him from over your shoulder. Namor sat with his legs spread in a way that looked absolutely obscene—it didn’t help that you felt the sudden urge to sink to your knees before him and show him just how much you hadn’t missedhim.
He tilted his head back, his dark eyes searching your face before he shifted his gaze to the impatient king at your side.
“Truthfully, this concerns me further.” Namor waved his hand towards you noncommittally. “I would know what she knows.”
You stared at him, taken aback by his request. This had been this plan all along, hadn’t it? You were not foolish enough to think Namor did not already know all of this, if not more. You had heard the stories whispered throughout the palace of the American scientists who had ventured to the Atlantic in search of vibranium. He had proven their decision to be a grave one.
You were certain there was no potential threat towards Talokan that he was not fully aware of.
“I can send what I have to—”
“No,” he interrupted quickly. There was a certain finality to his refusal—an unspoken demand, “You will go over it will me. If it is not a problem with your king.”
You glanced back at M’Baku who considered Namor with a skeptical look, as if he were trying to work out the possible ulterior motive hidden beneath his actions. You prayed he didn’t find out.
“Perhaps I can be of use instead? I’ve worked closely on this as well.” T’Kawe stepped closer to your side, placing a comforting hand on your arm, as if compelled by the uncertainty in your expression.
You could make out the subtle twitch of Namor’s jaw. The way his fingers curled around the arm of his chair. His expression was apathetic, but his body language was telling. Through the eyes of others, it would appear as simple irritation if anything, but you knew him better than most.
M’Baku cleared his throat, and your attention was his once more. He looked at you for a long moment, before sighing.
“You decide,” he stated simply.
You didn’t know whether to be grateful or exasperated.
This was a ploy of course—a way for Namor to have you in some capacity outside of the comfort of your home. He was treading a very thin line, leaving too much to those who could possibly see through this façade. That, or guilt was beginning to make you paranoid—though evidently not enough to make you see sense.
“I will help in any way I can,” you finally answered.
M’Baku clapped his hands with mock excitement, making you jump. “It is settled then.”
He leaned back in his seat, letting out an exaggerated sigh before calling out to other subjects.
You felt T’Kawe’s eyes on you as you watched Namor lift from his seat. He turned to his generals, speaking to them in Mayan. They regarded him respectfully, before making their way out of the throne room.
“Are you sure about this?” T’Kawe asked.
You nodded, thanking him for his concern, before you made your way to Namor. You could feel your heart begin to race, as if it were calling out to him, attempting to scream; there you are.
You dipped your head slightly, avoiding his dark eyes.
“Follow me.”
You stepped out of the throne room, making your way down magnificent hallways and around sharp corners of the palace until you reached the balcony. It was secluded enough to grant you both a private conversation, yet open enough to suppress any temptation to do anything…depraved.
You stared out towards the Golden City, rendered breathless by the view. It didn’t matter how many times you saw it—it always felt like the first time.
Namor was silent at your side. Though your gaze was fixed on the dazzling skyscrapers and distant mountains, you felt Namor’s eyes on you.
“Did you know?” you asked, finally turning your attention to him. “About everything I said in there?”
He nodded, and you let out a frustrated sigh.
“You knew that already,” Namor stated easily. “You agreed to be alone with me, despite knowing that I knew.”
“I had a hunch,” you corrected.
Namor’s eyes seemed to gleam as he stared down at you. “You wanted to be alone with me just as badly as I wanted to be alone with you.”
His eyes wandered to your shoulder—right where T’kawe’s hand had been moments before.
“Despite the protest of your…acquaintance.”
Namor spoke the word acquaintance as if it were a curse.
“Are you upset at him for thinking of my safety?”
Namor frowned, as if offended by the idea that your safety would ever be in question around him.
“I am upset that he is able to touch you so freely and I…” He glances towards the entrance of the balcony, before placing his hand on your waist and pulling you to the side, back into a corner hidden away from any potential prying eyes. “I am reduced to this.”
Your breath hitches as Namor leans over you, his eyes falling to your parted lips, before lifting back up to your face.
“I have missed you,” he confessed, slowly sinking to knees before you. “Missed the taste of you.”
The sight alone made a delicious spark shoot straight through you. You could feel his warm hands skim across the exposed flesh of your legs, slowly riding up until they hooked beneath your dress.
“Namor…” you warned—whispered, though there was little commitment in your voice.
His touch alone was setting you alight, making your pussy wet with the anticipation of his mouth where you needed it most.
Bast, he would be the fucking death of you. All your rationale and resolve vanished when he was near, and you wondered if it was the same for him—if he felt as hopeless as you did.
His hands reached beneath your dress, pulling your wet underwear down with a soft chuckle.
“And you have missed me,” he said, noting the evidence of your arousal. “But you always do, don’t you?”
You didn’t respond, and you were certain he didn’t need you to. Not with you before him, dazed and prepared to be eaten out in such a public place—within earshot of anyone who mattered. This was all the evidence he needed.
He wouldn’t make you regret it.
Namor’s kissed up the length of your leg slowly and will clear intent, as if it were worship—as if your skin was as necessary to him as the sea.
You jolted as your felt Namor’s tongue lapped at the wetness of your needy cunt. You brought your hand up to your mouth, attempting to muffle your cries as his tongue pushed deeper into you. He brought hand to the back of your thigh, lifting it ever so slightly as to drape across his shoulder, while his other hand brushed your clit with a touch that felt featherlight.
Your head feel back, your mind reeling as your felt the pressure in your core building with each flick of his ravenous tongue, and teasing fingers—and the danger of being found like this—legs spread while Namor, a man regarded as a fucking god kneeled before you, bringing you to the brink of ecstasy so effortlessly. The reality of your circumstances made your pussy clench from just how bad it all was.
Your king could find you like this. T’Kawe could find you like this.
You cried into the palm of your hand. The sound was barely muffled, and you could feel the heat of Namor’s breath as he laughed against your aching pussy.
Namor loved this—he absolutely reveled in just how much he was able to tear you apart in a way nobody else could.
“Namor,” you whined against your hand, pleading.
Usually slow to give in, you suspected your current whereabouts warranted him to be altruistic. Just this once.
His mouth latched onto your tender nub, and you were gone—free falling into your release as your fingers raked through his hair, and your hips bucked upward. You bit back your moan, trying so desperately to keep quiet as your overwhelming release rushed through you—a release that Namor took like an offering, swallowing your sweetness with enough enthusiasm to make your pussy spasm.
Namor pulled away from you when there was nothing more to take. His breathing was shaky, his pupils dilated as he looked up at you. He licked his lips, before pulling your stained panties back up your legs.
Your fingers were still in his hair, lightly brushing back thick strands, and you finally noticed the added length. He’d grown it out since you last saw him, the ends curling slightly and sweeping against his forehead.
“You’re beautiful,” you said without thinking.
He blinked up at you, taken aback by your soft-spoken compliment. It didn’t take long for him to recover, as his lips pulled into a full smile that made your heart stutter.
“That’s my line.”
He lifted himself to his feet, wasting no time in feeling your lips against his. His kiss was all hunger—a month’s worth of moments you two should have had. You sighed contentedly against his mouth, feeling the weight of everything leave you in a single moment.
He pulled away reluctantly, as if debating if he truly wanted to stop kissing you.
His brown eyes searched yours, and for the first time since you two had started fooling around, you saw… uncertainty in his eyes, as if he were contemplating something.
“Do you remember the last time we met?” he asked carefully.
You nodded, unsure of where this was going.
You could see him going over his next question, and he seemed to try and soothe you as much as himself as he rubbed circles along your waist.
“You asked me if I had forgotten what this was.”
Ah, that. The memory was fresh in your mind, despite the passage of time—as if time could make you forget moments spent with him.
But you knew exactly what he was referring to. The statement he had made while chasing his pleasure. The statement solidified a belief that you both were seeming to forget—this is just sex.
“You reminded me that I’m only a hole,” you answered, keeping your voice nonchalant despite the disappointment that settled in your chest.
The irony of the situation was not lost on you. Last time you had been the one trying to keep his feelings—or supposed feelings—in check. Now it was his turn.
“No. I asked if that was all that you are,” he hesitated, searching your eyes. “All that you wished to be to me.”
Your stilled, swallowing the protest that dared to burst from your lips—the desire to tell him how you wished to be so much more.
Wished to be at his side, and not just during moments stolen away in the night or risqué ventures on balconies, but all day—every single day. You wanted to be the person who knew him like nobody else, as necessary to him as the sea…but those were fantasies. Beautiful impossibilities that only served to make your heart ache with want.
“What else can I be?” you asked, turning away from his powerful gaze.
Namor cupped your cheek, and you couldn’t help but lean into his touch. He tipped your head back in his direction, forcing you to look at him.
“Mine,” he whispered. “My queen. My heart…”
He repeated the word in Mayan as he leaned his forehead against yours—his confession for you only.
“The mother of my heir.”
Your heart seized, your mind racing as you realized he desired so much more from you than sex. He wanted you by his side—the only person to whom he would ever kneel. Ache for.
You came back to reality quickly as you looked over his shoulder—the Golden City stared back at you, as if reminding you of your station.
“My duty is to my country. My home.”
Namor’s furrowed as he stared down at you. “Do you think I would take you away from it?”
“It wouldn’t be your choice.”
Nor would it be yours. It would be impossible for you to accept Namor’s offer—to be his, and not have everything ripped from under you. Wakanda would reject you, and Talokan would not accept you.
Namor pulled away, taking the warmth of his body with him. You almost reached out for him but restrained yourself.
“You have a choice to make then,” Namor said with his back turned to you, instead turning his attention to the home that you cherished so deeply. “I will not return again. Not to you.”
You felt a lump form in your throat as his words hit you. Frustration tugged at your heart, helping you find your voice.
“Why?”
Because you were both getting in too deep. Because he wanted something from you that he was uncertain you could give.
Even if you knew the answer, you wanted to hear it from him.
He glanced over his shoulder at you, and you could see the sorrow in his eyes.
“I want you. All of you,” he confessed, “But what is it you want?”
You were silent as he held your gaze.
“If you decide it is me, come to the shore and I will know.”
You prayed there was little emotion on your face as you regarded him—prayed he couldn’t see the turmoil his confession and ultimatum were causing you.
“And if I don’t?” you asked.
Silence was the only answer he gave, but it was if he had spoken the words you never wanted to hear; Then you will be free of me.
There was no farewell as Namor lifted from the ground, the wings on his feet beating feverishly as he took off towards the sky. You watched, feeling parts of yourself fade along with him.
You had dreaded the sneaking around—the hidden moments and guilt that festered as you continued to be with Namor, but now he was giving you an out. A chance to finally rid yourself of him and play your part as royal advisor once more, untainted—or you could have him entirely.
He was forcing you to come to terms with a truth you had been tiptoeing around. You cannot have both.
You sighed, pulling away from the balcony wall. You wanted to be back in your bed, hidden beneath a sea of covers while sleep whisked you far away to impossible worlds where your reality was much different—where such decisions didn’t exist, and you could just be.
You turned, nearly stepping back into the palace before you stopped short. Your heart seemed to stop as you stared up at the imposing figure that stood near the entrance.
You swallowed thickly as your king regarded you sternly, and you could see the disappointment that flashed in his eyes. The dread that had rooted its way into your heart spread, nearly choking you.
Yes. The gods are angry indeed.

Warmth
Pairing: M’Baku x Wakandan!Reader
Word Count: 2.4k
Warnings: Fem!Reader. Black!Reader. Smut (18+). Unprotected Sex. Fingering. Dirty Talk. Fluff.
Summary: Soft morning sex with M’Baku to keep warm. That’s it. That’s the whole fic.
A/N: Nothing but respect for my king. Hope you all enjoy this smutty fantasy. It’s my first time writing for M’Baku, so I’m a little nervous. I also edited this in like 10 minutes, so all mistakes are my own.
Tumblr media
M’Baku is warm in the mornings. Especially compared to the cold air of the bedroom that surrounds you.
Being from the River Tribe yourself, you’re still getting used to the permafrost that covers every inch of the Jabari lands. Harsh and unforgiving, it sinks into your skin, and settles deep into your bones. The cold nights and even colder mornings are jarring. And though you probably won’t mention it out loud, though you’re sure your perceptive husband already knows, the endless peaks of snowy mountains sometimes make you miss the warm, flat soil of your old valley home.
Still, you wouldn’t trade your love for M’Baku for all the endless summers in the world. Even when your toes and fingers feel stiff and frozen, and you never think you’ll be warm again.
Pale sunlight filters through the skylight above your bed, splintering on the glass and refracting on the walls in little swatches of rainbow. Though it gently strokes your skin, it’s weak and hardly warms you. It does, however, illuminate the hulking form of your husband. Not that the king needs the feeble rays to announce his presence, his snoring does that for him.
You stretch, stirring your heavy limbs. A bad idea. Freezing air infiltrates the warm nest of furs piled on top of you. You shiver, and your body stiffens in protest. You curse under your breath, the chattering of teeth accompanying the colorful language.
Bast only knows how the Jabari first survived this all those years ago, with only their hard heads and proud hearts to keep them warm.
“You would keep the heat in if you stopped moving,” M’Baku mumbles sleepily. You can hear the amusement in his voice, warm and rich like chocolate. “Go back to sleep.”
You huff under your breath. “I can’t.” You flex your toes, feeling the twist of soft fur. “It’s too cold.”
M’Baku rolls onto his stomach and wordlessly lifts his arm. You slide into his embrace thankfully. He settles above you, a furnace in his own right. With his weight on top of you and his dewy breath in your ear, you almost allow yourself to sink deep into the syrupy waves of unconsciousness. That is, until your husband decides to open his mouth.
“How is that?” He asks, body rumbling with the deep vibration of his voice.
“Better,” you mumble, sleeping tugging heavy on your eyelids.
“You know, this would be much easier if you were naked,” M’Baku whispers in your ear, voice raspy from the last fading traces of sleep.
You can’t help the shudder that goes down your spine. “I doubt that.” You try to keep your tone even, but you suspect your husband heard the slight hitch in your voice from the grin pressed against your cheek.
“No, no. Skin to skin is very effective,” he insists, one large hand sliding under the bottom of your nightgown.
The corners of your lips tug upwards. “And how would you know that, Lord M’Baku? Who have you kept warm with this, hm, skin to skin method?”
M’Baku clears his throat. “I’ve heard about it. The, uh soldiers…they talk.” He kisses the skin behind your ear. “Shall we give it a try? Hm, ikumkani wam?” He slips one of the straps from your shoulder and presses a kiss there as well. The scrape of his beard against your skin has your mind slipping to other things, though you’re sure M’Baku’s mind has wandered there as well.
“And if I’m still cold afterwards?” You ask, the words saccharine and coy, dripping off of your tongue like honey.
He lifts his head so you can see the glimmer in the depths of his dark eyes. “Then I suppose we would have to try a different tactic.”
You sit up to let him pull the nightgown over your head and fall back against the soft bed. M’Baku’s eyes roam over the soft curves of your body, lit by the gentle sunlight. Your skin looks like honeyed whiskey. Like onyx glinting at noon. Polished mahogany and clay. He drinks you in, and you do the same.
Your gaze sliding over the rounded peaks of his shoulders. Down the expanse of his chest to his belly, and then dipping further still. To the hard flesh of his cock, stiff against your inner thigh.
M’Baku likes to sleep naked. The way Hanuman intended, he says, and you’re not complaining. It gives you easy access. Easy access for your eyes to gawk at him. To appreciate the way his shoulders roll when he stretches. Easy access for your fingers to skim over his soft skin. To feel the heat of his body pressed tightly against yours.
Easy access to do other things, like slide your hand down his stomach and wrap around his cock.
“What are you doing, my love?” He murmurs, eyelids sliding shut.
“Keeping you warm.”
“Mm, I thought that was supposed to be my job.”
You look up at him, a smile growing on your face. “Then come keep me warm, my king.”
M’Baku lowers himself over you with a short snort of laughter. “Yes, ikumkani wam.”
His lips meet yours, slow and sweet at first. Bringing a warmth that unfurls in your belly like the comfort of the first sip of tea. The rich, sharp taste of wine after a long day. His warrior’s hands are gentle on your body, calloused fingertips skimming over your jaw. Tilting your head to the side so he can kiss you deeper, press his tongue into the seam of your mouth.
And then the kiss grows faster, heated. The press of his lips more insistent. The warmth of his tongue fills you, eagerly tasting each and every moan that bubbles up from your throat. The press of his fingers hard against your skin. Stripping you down, squeezing and pulling you closer. A hand over your breast, palm scraping your nipple. The other gripping your thigh, using it for leverage to rut against your stomach.
You wrap your arms around his broad shoulders, and let M’Baku press you deeper into the bed.
His lips leave yours and carve a path over your body. Down your throat. Across your shoulder. Over the peaks of your breasts, with a detour to suck on your puckered nipples. His tongue laves over your skin, leaving goosebumps in its wake, and wetness pooling between your thighs.
M’Baku fits his hand between your legs, and plays with your folds. “Glory to Hanuman,” he breathes against your chest. “An offering all for me?” His fingers swirl around your clit, then dip to press against your entrance.
You arch your back, legs spreading of their own accord. An invitation. One he accepts willingly.
He slides a finger into your cunt, breaking you open for him. You mewl, a heady warmth sliding through you at the slow press of his fingers. His name falls off of your lips. A quiet puff of air in the vast expanse of the room.
M’Baku curls his finger, fucking you open in broad strokes. His thumb circles your clit at a leisurely pace. He’s in no hurry. Content to watch you twitch and shudder under his touch. To behold the display of hedonism splayed out across furs and cotton. He would much rather pass the day with you, tangled in the sheets. Taking his time to unravel you bit by bit, over and over again.
Let the council wait. They couldn’t do anything without him.
He is king, after all. And as king, his job was to take care of his queen.
“Are you feeling warm yet, my love?” Your husband asks, sliding a second finger inside of you.
The burn of the stretch is intoxicating. In no time, you feel as though you are floating on clouds. Ascending to the heavens.
You want more. You need more. You need him. His weight on top of you. His cock inside of you. Pushing and pushing, taking and taking. Giving until you’re spent.
“I’m still a little cold,” you say, and though you try to play it coy, the desire is embarrassingly clear in your voice.
M’Baku chuckles. “Well, we cannot have that, can we?” He asks. “How should I warm you?”
“Make love to me, M’Baku” you whisper, wrapping your hand around his cock again. You guide him towards the wanting warmth of your cunt.
“Mm. Yes, my queen.” M’Baku spreads your legs wider and situates himself between your thighs.
His lips brush over yours as he thrusts forward, letting the head of his cock slide against your clit. He groans at the warmth of you coating his aching cock; the soft skin of your thighs caging him in, urging him closer. His hips roll forward again, and again, and again, until he’s completely covered in you.
You sigh against his parted mouth, lifting your hips up to meet his next thrust. “Please,” you beg. You long to feel him move inside you. To be joined, one body, one soul.
M’Baku shushes you, his hand sliding down  your stomach. He holds you in place as he fills you with one slow stroke.
Your jaw drops, and you choke at the sensation. So full. Of love. Of him. The air in your lungs exits in a pitiful whine as M’Baku pushes into you completely. You scratch at his shoulders, scrabbling to pull him closer.
M’Baku moans, low and gravelly, as the warmth of your cunt envelopes him. The hand not holding you still fists into the pillow beside your head. An anchor keeping him present. Keeping him contained. He curses quietly, eyes screwing shut.
“Bast,” you pant. “You feel so good inside me, kumkani wam.”
M’Baku’s hips snap forward at the sound of his official title falling from your lips. “Be careful, my love, or this will be over much sooner than we’d want.”
“I don’t care.” You grab his hip, trying to urge him forward. “I want you. All of you.”
He kisses your chin, but doesn’t budge. “And I want you.”
“Then take me.” You grind your own hips upwards, desperate for some kind of friction. “I’m yours.”
“Relax, my love.” M’Baku draws his hips backwards. “I will take care of you.”
And take care of you he does. His thrusts, though languid at first, are hard and deep. They would have pushed you up the bed if your lover hadn’t been holding you in place. M’Baku curls his body over you, pinning you down so that all you can do is take all that he gives. And he gives so much.
He is all around you. Warm like the summer rains of your homeland. His lips caressing your skin. Sweeping down your neck and across your shoulders. His skin pressed against yours. Heat burrowing its way into your skin. Magma settling low in your stomach, spreading into your veins, bursting on the tip of your tongue. His body rolls against yours like ocean waves. Threatening to capsize you. To drown you.
M’Baku is grinding now, just the way you like it. He hooks his arm under your leg. Spreading you apart so his hips can brush your clit with every thrust. Now the fire burns over your skin. Leaving uncontrollable decimation in its wake.
You cry out, nails scratching against his arms, and M’Baku smiles.
“There you are.” He kisses you messily. “Is this what you wanted, my queen?”
You nod. “Don’t stop.”
“Oh, I won’t stop, my love.” His hips speed up a little. “Not when you’re so close. I want to watch you fall apart on my cock. I want all of Jabari Land, all of Wakanda, to know how their king pleasures his queen. Will you tell them, my love? Hm? Will you shout my name for all to hear?”
“Yes. Oh yes. Just–ah– just don’t stop. I’m going to come.” You arch into his touch, your orgasm so maddeningly close.
“Show me,” he murmurs, lifting your leg higher to change the angle, and it’s all over.
Light bursts behind your eyelids. Static fills your senses. You come with a broken wail, sharp cries of fuckfuckfuck and M’Baku and kumkani wam filling the air. M’Baku fucks you through your orgasm steadily, not stopping, even when the peak of your first crests into a smaller, but still earth-shattering, second.
His voice fills your ear. Gentle praises of how beautiful you are when you come, of how good your cunt feels squeezing around him. Filthy promises of his own impending orgasm– to fill you up until you were dripping, to keep it there inside of you, to watch it slide onto the sheets, and to fuck it back inside of you.
“I want it,” you say desperately. “I want all of it. Please, M’Baku. I want to feel you inside of me.”
M’Baku groans, fingers digging into your thigh. He kisses you deeply, burying his own strangled cry in your mouth. His hips stutter, hard thrusts growing sloppy. He can only grunt out a warning before he’s spilling his warmth inside of you.
It feels never ending. Your body seizes, legs wrapping around his waist to hold him there. M’Baku rocks against you, riding out the wave of his orgasm. His lips brush your cheek, muttering nonsensical phrases against your skin. He sags on top of you, holding you close as your heartbeats return to normal.
“Do you think they heard us?” M’Baku grins sheepishly.
“Isn’t that what you wanted?” You tease, limbs relaxing as the world begins to fade around you.
“Mmm,” he answers. “How are you, my love? Do you think you could sleep now?”
You nod weakly. Exhaustion already tugs heavily at your eyelids. Between the sex and the comforting weight of his body, you could be out in mere seconds.
“Good,” he whispers. “Sleep. And when you wake I promise I will be ready to make love to you again.”
“What about your council meeting?” You ask. “Your duties as king?”
“My duty as king is to keep you happy and warm.” He yawns, and rests his chin against the top of your head. “The council will just have to wait until we are done.” He says, sleep already lacing into the edges of his voice.
M’Baku makes good on his word when you awake some few hours later. Several times, in fact.
He is king after all. And a good king always keeps his promises.
