MacGyver Thought of the Day: How many things have Mac and Bozer stolen from Mrs. Schwartz next door? At what point does she give them a key so they stop breaking her lock/window?

ETA: Also, what else have they stolen from the Hendersons? I need more information about Mac's neighbors and what they think about the weird boys who live on the hill.

Remember the last ghost episode where everybody went to the dinner that honored veterans except for Jack? Like it made no sense and it annoys me. Jack would've been there and he would've supported Mac all throughout the episode. They should've just had that episode earlier in the season.

Oh for sure! Especially with how Mac was acting even at the beginning of the episode, getting in his own head with the memories of Peña and everything with the ghost, not to mention him and Nasha breaking up. I feel like Jack wouldn’t have just left him to deal with it alone. I would have loved to see how their interactions would have gone throughout this episode! Especially that scene at the end where he is freaking out and starts having a panic attack (it’s been a while since I’ve seen this episode so I’m a little bit hazy on all of the details)

I also would have loved seeing more of Charlie and Jack together! I just want to see Jack in every episode Jack isn’t in is that too much to ask??

#this was a nice semi call back #(i like to think bozer got the other car. unless it blew up or something and i dont remember) #had to rewatch 5x05 for this and it still hurt 😔 #MAN upset with the quality on the season 5 gifs but at this point in time i can only get good quality by buying the complete collection #cuz season 5 is ONLY available w/ the complete collection #and i dont want to do that lol #i had to go out and buy the first season cuz all the 100% legal streaming sites i use had the episode compass in place of chisel #such is life i guess :/ #macgyver #angus macgyver #jack dalton #riley davis #luke makes gifs

S01E06 Wrench Missing Scene

~~! Five Years Ago !~~

Charlie hurried into the infirmary and stopped the first nurse he spotted.  "Angus MacGyver.  Is he here?"

"EOD Specialist?" she asked as her eyes skimmed the patch on his arm that proclaimed him part of EOD.

"That's him."

"He's down there, last door on the left."

He jogged down the hall, dodging a couple of slow-moving patients along the way, and then knocked a couple of times on the closed door.  Without waiting for an answer, he cracked the door open and stuck his head inside. 

The room was dimly lit and held two beds.  The far bed was empty, and the closer one was occupied by his friend.  Mac looked like shit.  He was pale, even in the low light, and he exuded misery.  His arm was thrown over his eyes, and he didn't move when Charlie entered. 

"Hey, Mac," Charlie greeted quietly.  "How are you doing?"

"Charlie?"  Mac moved his arm and tried to sit up, but the movement must have been nauseating.  He put one hand to his stomach and the other over his mouth as he swallowed hard. 

"Should I get the nurse?"

"I'm okay," Mac replied quickly.  He leaned back against his pillow and closed his eyes for a moment. 

"You're looking a little green there, buddy."

Mac gestured to his head.  "Mild concussion.  I'll be out of here tomorrow."

Charlie nodded and pulled a chair closer to the bed.  "What happened out there?  Is Peña..."

Mac looked away, and Charlie watched as he seemed to shrink into himself, hugging his arms around his torso.  "We got a call about a bomb inside a building.  The robot broke down again, so Peña told me to fix it while he took care of the device.  The radio fritzed out, and then," Mac paused to clear his throat, "there was an explosion."

Slowly reaching out, Charlie put a hand on Mac's shoulder and squeezed gently.  "There was nothing you could have done."

"It should have been me," Mac whispered, tears falling in slow tracks down his cheeks.

"Don't say that."

Mac scrubbed his hands over his face and let out a shuddering breath.  "I wish he'd given me the five minutes to fix the bot.  I wish I knew what happened inside that building.  I wish he was still here."

Charlie patted his shoulder, hoping he was offering some small measure of comfort.  "I know, man, but Peña wouldn't want you to think like that.  He knew what could happen out there in the sandbox."

"He was about to be a dad.  Now-"

"Hey, you can't beat yourself up about this.  Peña made the call to go inside the building, and you couldn't have changed his mind."

Mac shrugged off Charlie's hand and turned slowly onto his side with his back to Charlie.  "I'm tired."

Sighing, Charlie stood and headed for the door.  "Get some rest.  I'll check on you tomorrow."

Mac didn't respond as Charlie stepped out of the room and quietly shut the door.  He'd have to keep an eye on Mac for a little while to make sure that he'd be okay.

… Do they confirm whether Mac was in grad school when he enlisted? They mentioned he did right out of MIT, but I mean, MIT does grad school and undergrad. I can’t seem to remember if they said…
