I was wondering, is it difficult at all to have to draw similarly to the style of su? Or is it easier? Personally because of my style being far near su's style I find it hard to replicate something similar to the style. If it's fairly simple for you, do you have any tips?

If I’m completely honest, adapting to the SU Style was a bit of a learning experience for me. I have been bouncing between different styles the last few years varying from what I consider my ‘own’:

My own art is a lot more detailed then Steven Universe, finding ways to show joints without having specific ‘joints’ has been some of the hardest parts for me.That and the feet and legs.. god damn tubes with nubs... 

I’d say pull together references, I have an entire folder dedicated to them at this point. I know my art strays off-model pretty frequently as more of my own stylization seeps in, and I’m working on that honestly, but don’t entirely reject it either. If it looks right roll with it! Nobody said it has to be perfect.

5. First kiss

The Once-ler and I love to take walks, especially on nights when the sky is clear and the stars are out! (Like I mentioned in the last ask, he loves stargazing!) Its something we made a habit of, an excuse to stay a bit longer before I had to go home. On this night it was particularly clear out, there was absolutely no clouds in the sky. We had decided to lay together in a clearing, looking at the stars and enjoying each other's company. Minutes had turned into hours, and it was getting rather late. I needed to head home soon, but I absolutely did not want to. 

It was before I told him that I had to go home and get some rest, that he shyly said that he loved me. My friends and I say that to each other all the time, It didn’t hit me right away exactly what he meant when he said that. Especially since he hadn’t said that to me beforehand. I would say I loved him too, looking over at him with a smile. His more serious expression causing a bit of concern, as that wasn't typical for him. He says something along the lines of “I mean, I LOVE love you.” and I would instantly become very flustered, embarrassed that I didn't realize what he meant! 

We face each other, no words shared as I laced my fingers with his, holding his hand. It would take me a minute to calm down enough to respond, saying that I LOVE loved him, too. 

Slowly our lips would touch, and we would share our first kiss together, laid in the grass on that perfect night

Got kinda a few actually: old books and wood, vanilla, cupcake (although I’m very particular w/ it lol), fruits in general, and this one particular scent that reminds me of my home (can’t explain it but it’s very nastolgic and calms me,,)

5. Honestly, despite feeling like I have to act more like an adult cause I’m older, I’m glad I’m still a bit childish! xD I know it’s silly but I enjoy having the freedom to go a little crazy and just be silly ya know?
